Seek Him What Made Them Seven Stars

     A Horse/Space Opera

Story Description: The year is 2032 and a young cowboy living on his uncle's ranch in the hill country of West Central Texas heroically rescues an alien from his crashed space ship and saves his life. The alien looks like a man but has a set of beautiful wings. His wing on his left shoulder is partially ripped away from his body. The cowboy takes care of him and nurses him back to health. The alien heals more quickly than a human and reveals to the cowboy he's come to Earth on a mission, but when the young man rescued him, it created an unusual conundrum for both. WARNING! This is a work of fantasy science fiction. There are some strongly worded opinions voiced about religion and the politics of man from a secular humanist progressive liberal point of view. If you are disturbed by either or have a difficult time separating reality from fiction, don't read this story! I would submit there are only a very few science fiction writers who don't use their craft to point out flaws in society. To easily dismiss such ideas as an author's soap-box rant is an intellectually lazy, disingenuous refusal, or cowardly fear on the reader's part to more closely examine their own beliefs.
