Seek Him What Made Them Seven Stars

Chapter 78
"O CAPTAIN! my Captain! Our fearful trip is done; the ship
has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won. The port
is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting, while
follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring: But O
heart! heart! heart! O the bleeding drops of red, where on the
deck my Captain lies, fallen cold and dead.” ~ Walt Whitman
(1819~1891) from Leaves of Grass (1900) *
“No mother, I'm fine. Really! Master Billy and his cowboys
patched-me-up and took away any pain I felt – almost immediately.
It happened so fast I passed out, and didn't come-to until they
already done healed my wound. It was just a small nick, but it
bled a little. They're taking such good care of me, it's almost
embarrassing,” Wilbur said to his mother, Nellie Peterson.
“We watched Billy on the late news on TV talking about his horse
having a colt and naming him after one of his heroes, a young,
bold, and fearless warrior who was wounded in a recent skirmish. I
got so worried when he said, Sir Wilbur, the pure, my blood ran
cold. I knew exactly who he was talking about,” Nellie said.
Wilbur laughed, “Sir Wilbur, the pure? A bold and fearless
warrior? You got to be kidding me. He really said that?” Wilbur
asked and laughed again.
“Yes. He really said it, and he was serious. I don't think he was
joking, Son. Master Billy sounded sincere,” Nellie assured him.
“Master Billy is such a joker. I'm far from being pure, bold,
brave, or fearless, and he knows it. I held his great sword for
him like I was his humble squire while everyone else done the
actual fighting. The real heroes of our skirmish was Master
Billy's Cowboy-Angels and them Fallen Angels what come to give
themselves to him and his cause. Me being brave and pure is just a
joke between him and me, Mom,” Wilbur said and laughed again, “I
promise, I'm all right, Ma. I'm being seen-to every minute of the
day and night by my roommate, who was one of the real heroes of
our skirmish, along with our equally fearless and faithful
Watcher-Protector, Lemoncello. I'm very fortunate to have a big
cowboy with the heart of an Angel taking care of me and seeing to
my recovery. Marcus is the next-best thing to a living saint. He
sees to my needs, and makes sure I drink every bit of my wonderful
healing medicine he feeds me like it was nectar from a god. Now
don't you worry yore'self none. I'm gonna' be okay. I'm looking
forward to your visit. I'll see you and Gower tomorrow for lunch.
I ain't got me no idea what-all Master Billy has planned, but I'm
sure it will be spectacular. Him and Doc Oatie check me out
several times a day, and if I check out good in the morning,
Master Billy promised I could leave my quarters and join in the
fun. Aside from my small physical set-back, I got some wonderful
news to share with you when you come to the ranch,” Wilbur said
with enthusiasm.
“Gower and I have some news for you, too, Sweetheart, but we'll
tell you about it tomorrow,” Nellie said.
“If it's what I think it might be, it will be the best news I've
heard in a good while. I'm sure it will make me very happy, Mom,”
Wilbur said, and he heard his mother let out a deep sigh on the
phone.
“No, you know what? Billy Daniels was right, Son, you do have a
pure heart, and I've always known you were bold, brave, and
fearless,” Nellie said. They shared a laugh, said their goodbyes,
and disconnected.
* * * * * * *
“He's in love, Gower,” Nellie said, “I can hear it in his voice,”
she added.
“Good on Wilbur. It's the greatest feeling in the world,
Sweetheart. I'll bet ma' boots he heard the happiness in your
voice. Just don't act surprised if his new love ain't no woman,”
Gower said.
“I won't. A mother knows her son. I found his secret stash of
muscle building magazines; some of the pages were stuck together
from dried semen. They disappeared shortly after he got his first
computer. I know when he's looking at gay porn 'cause he always
locks the door to his room. I been meaning to take him aside and
talk with him to reassure him it's okay with me, but I never did.
Like all parents, I put it off as something I'll get around to
when the right moment arrives. It never did. I thought I'd have
time, but when he took-off to go live with the cowboys at the
Daniels ranch, I knew that boat already sailed,” Nellie said.
“He asked me questions about sex several times,” Gower spoke
softly, “It was awkward. I didn't know what to tell him. It
weren't my place. It was about six months after you took me in. I
was just an old burned-out itinerant bum trying to shake off the
D.Ts, and I had my own problems. I knew he was looking for
answers, so I went directly to the heart of the matter. I asked
him point-blank if he thought he might have a hanker'n for men. He
never answered, just shook his head in the affirmative, and shed a
couple of tears. I let him get it out. Then I told him it
t'weren't nothing to worry about. Twenty-five percent, one quarter
of the population on our planet's got some sexual variation what
don't fall into the standard, one-size-fits-all, male/female
standard religious missionary position. I told him some of the
best men I ever knew were gay or switch-hitters,” Gower said, “I
tried to impress on him h'it t'weren't who he chooses to lie down
with and share his love what makes a man; it's how he lives his
life, treats his family, and those less fortunate than himself,”
Gower added.
“I'm glad I gave you a chance, Gower,” Nellie said.
“Not as glad as I am, Lady,” Gower replied and stole a kiss.
Nellie giggled like a school girl.

After turning the British/Hightower situation over to his posse
and the four notable ambassadors representing Bubba-7-Stars, Billy
and Nick went to the ship to pay a visit with Wilbur and his huge
husband Friday morning. They found the men just finishing up from
Marcus pumping his healing body-fluids into his mate's gut for the
day. Wilbur's usually flat, muscular stomach area was rounded like
he was late into his first trimester of pregnancy. The handsome
young cowboy was rubbing his hands around on it like he was
exceptionally pleased with the noticeable bulge. Wilbur wore a
self-satisfied smile on his face, and was totally unashamed to be
sporting a roaring erection from his pride before Master Billy and
Nick.
“Are we interrupting anything?” Billy asked and grinned. Nick
laughed.
“No, no! Not at all, Gentlemen. Come in! Come in! We just finished
with my boy's treatment. We have one more step to complete, but we
can do that later. There's no rush,” Marcus said as he ushered the
men into their apartment.
“Being responsible for my young brave knight's health, and upon an
official visit to see to his well-being, may I inquire what
further step you might be referring to, sir?” Billy asked.
Marcus blushed a deep red color, turned to look at Wilbur, and
nodded his head. “My dad has been taking me after each feeding,
Master Billy; something he has never done before with another man.
He's embarrassed to talk about it for obvious reasons. While
others might consider it common-place within male/male bondings,
my husband has been strongly imprinted that the dominant male
never becomes the receiver on either end. I fully understood what
our roles would be in our relationship when I agreed to accept his
offer to become his slave-boy. It's what we both wanted, and I
share his concern, sir. Marcus has worked hard to cultivate his
image as a strong, no-nonsense but fair leader and construction
boss. With that in mind, I agree with my husband, some things
should remain within the privacy of our bedroom, sir,” Wilbur said
politely.
“Well said, Young Knight. I fully understand and empathize. I
couldn't agree more, but I'm more worried about his own health in
taking such a bold step. Is that wise? I should think your
ejaculate would be poisoned, Cowboy,” Billy said looking at Nick
for a backup response. Nick just shrugged his shoulders and shook
his head like he couldn't correlate an applicable precedent at the
moment.
“It is poisonous, Master Billy, but in much smaller amounts;
however, like a poisonous snake handler can immunize himself
against being bitten by injecting himself with small amounts of
venom regularly over a period of time, so my master is immunizing
himself by ingesting my ejaculate. My master's body has doubled
and tripled the strength of his antigens he then passes on to me
through his urine. Master Aspidistra insisted and assured us it
would do little or no harm to my husband, but it would add
strength to my recovery. He claimed it would logarithmically
increase my provider's antibodies considerably shortening the
length of my recovery. At the same time, my master would be
immunizing himself against any further encounters with them
beasties, and our blood, if compatible with the victim's, could be
used as an immediate antidote,” Wilbur explained.
Billy nodded his head he understood the premise, “We ain't had a
consultation with Master Aspidistra. We seen each other on the go
but never had time to discuss your condition; however, our
benefactor in the great golden-ball spaceship expressed high
regard for Master Aspidistra's skills in dealing with potions and
poisons. His approach makes a great deal of sense to me – you,
Pa?” Billy asked Nick.
“A similar situation comes to mind – sort of a Kagoli infection
scenario in reverse, to say nothing of your Cowboy-Angel
enhancements we bestowed upon them,” Nick replied.
“Exactly, Pa,” Billy agreed, “It even makes me wonder, with you
two becoming infected with the Kagoli enzymes, and their DNA
living symbiotically within you, if'n it ain't strengthened your
immune systems to give you added protection? Thankfully, you've
had little or no problems with your recovery so far,” Billy said.
“I'm certain Kagoli DNA saved my bacon a couple of times in the
past,” Nick added.
Another knock came at the door, and Marcus hollered for them to
enter. Oatie and his husband Jethro, accompanied by the tall,
willowy, Sylvan Aspidistra walked into the room. Billy made
previous plans for them to join him and Nick for their visit with
Marcus and Wilbur in their apartment. After exchanging warm
greetings with each other, they began to talk about the news
Wilbur and Marcus shared with Billy and Nick.
Oatie Breedlove responded, “I approved Master Aspidistra's
suggested treatment for our young warrior, but only if they wished
to participate within the framework of their relationship. Neither
Master Aspidistra nor I suggested it was a necessary procedure. We
weren't sure it was something Master Marcus could bring himself to
do, and with that in mind, we assured them we felt confident our
originally agreed upon course of treatment would be adequate to
rid Wilbur's system of the poison; it would just take longer. We
left the final decision up to them and other than ask, we didn't
know whether they agreed to the procedure. We ain't conferred with
them about the subject since, but I find their decision to heed
our suggestion as equally heroic on Master Marcus's part as his
mate's original deed. I can further assure you, Gentlemen, not a
word of this conversation will ever leave this room,” Oatie said
firmly to Marcus and Wilbur knowing Marcus's mindset about such
things.
“Hear! Hear!” Nick exclaimed.
“I don't see what I done as heroic. I really didn't have no choice
in the matter,” Marcus said, “My track record with the life
expectancy of my previous two boys weren't so good. It was a
gut-wrenching, soul-depleting experience losing them, compounded
by the frustrating and infuriating fact I couldn't protect them
adequately. I knew I couldn't go on living should I lose another;
especially one I come to love so much as Wilbur. I'm convinced,
for whatever I might have done to gain their approval, them
Ancients saved the very best-boy for my last, and they were also
thoughtful enough to provide me with a better than average chance
to protect him. While I respect you gentlemen's medical skills, I
just couldn't take the chance you were a hundred percent correct.
If taking my boy, the young man I love so dearly, meant it might
possibly add-to or hasten his recovery and provide us with an
immunity against them beasties, it's what I had to do,” he added.
“Lord knows, there ain't a husband in a bonded-male relationship
what don't have his secrets. Welcome to the club, Master Marcus,”
Jethro said sincerely.
“The most unexpected part is, I grow'd accustomed to his taste. My
boy's flavor is as toothsome, bold, and strong as he is pure and
brave, and I don't never want to live without his sweet nectar nor
without him by my side,” Marcus said shyly smiling at his beloved
mate.
“And once't again, true love conquers them terrible beasties of
darkness and chaos,” Billy said softly.
“Hosanna!” Master Aspidistra exclaimed.
“Hosanna, in the highest!” the other men answered.
“Then all we have to do this morning is share a taste of you men's
blood, and we can tell how far you've progressed,” Oatie said
getting out his sterile instruments. He prepared two small
syringes to extract just enough of Wilbur's blood in two vials for
him and Billy to taste and a bit more to mix with some chemicals
Master Aspidistra brought in small phials with a cork in each.
Billy and Oatie sampled Wilbur's blood first. They looked at each
other with blank looks on their faces and each reached for
Marcus's blood at the same time, like they wanted to compare and
be certain of their findings before they spoke. Master Aspidistra
added Wilbur's blood to one phial and then added Marcus blood to
the other, corked them, and shook one in each hand like an ancient
alchemist might test an arcane recipe for changing mercury into
gold.
“Amazing!” Billy exclaimed quietly.
“Remarkable!” Oatie agreed.
“I've seen this happen only once before, but the circumstances
were similar,” Master Aspidistra concurred.
“Here! Lemme' have a taste,” Nick insisted and dipped the
forefinger of each hand in the small, shallow petri dishes, tasted
one, then the other, and smiled. “Talk about joined at the hip, or
better yet – separated-chimeras, Kemosabe,” he said and the other
men laughed.
“That's the first oxymoron I ever done heard what makes sense,
Tonto!” Billy exclaimed.
“What's an 'oxymoron'? I always though it was a non-chlorine
bleach for idiots,” Jethro asked.
The men laughed, “Never mind, Buckaroo, I'll explain later,” Oatie
said.
Marcus and Wilbur looked from man to man. “Go on, Master Billy,
they're your Angels, tell them,” Master Aspidistra urged.
“Not only are you both cured from the demonic poison, you are now
completely immune to many other poisons as well, but the most
remarkable part, which obviously ain't understood by any of us –
you somehow managed to integrate your DNA. With minor differences,
which will keep you uniquely yourselves, there's enough genetic
bonding going on a good geneticist wouldn't be able to tell Wilbur
ain't chore' natural born son, Master Marco,” Billy explained.
“You mean like the good blue-fairy done went and turned Pinocchio
into Geppetto's real son, Master Billy?” Wilbur asked.
“Exactly, my pure, brave, and fearless Knight. That's an excellent
comparison. Life copying art. It's certainly unusual. It don't
happen none too often, but it is within the realm of possibility.
It should create some interesting conundrums which you men can
have the pleasure of exploring and experiencing for yourselves. I
got me a feeling this is another one a them
after-factory-extra-add-ons them Ancients bestowed on you men.
They wanted you to have the complete bonding package with all the
bells and whistles. I don't know how they could have made a more
dramatic statement,” Billy added.
“Furthermore, it will be a perfect genealogical camouflage to
convince any court, they got the wrong man if anyone should come
snooping looking for Marco,” Nick said.
“I'm afraid your not-so-pure Knight is more worried about having
to stop my medication treatment if I'm healed,” Wilbur pouted.
Everyone laughed at him.
“You don't have to stop right away. Who knows, it quite possibly
might be the catalyst what's causing the change. I wouldn't even
recommend it at this point. I would say you should continue with
your master's medication at least once't a day and leave no step
out of the cycle you created for yourselves. Would you gentlemen
agree?” Billy replied, and deferred to Oatie and Sylvan's opinion.
“Of course. Continue your medication through the weekend and see
how it goes, but you should start drinking Lemond's milk this
evening as well, and have a light breakfast in the morning to get
your gut back in order. By noon tomorrow you should be able to
join us for lunch,” Oatie said and Master Aspidistra agreed.
* * * * * * *
Billy and his men left Marcus, Wilbur, and Lemoncello and headed
down to the great dining hall where they would enjoy supper with
the rest of the ship. Friday afternoons, before the next day's
festivities, was quickly becoming a tradition to have everyone
from the big house take the evening meal with them to give the
household staff a break in their routine. The whole ranch would be
busy enough from early dawn the next day with breakfast and then
helping with the Saturday outdoor feed. It was still early
afternoon and supper was served at six bells. Billy had a chance
to talk with Oatie and Jethro about their midnight trip to
England.
“Are you men still planning to be my reps to visit the Hightowers
at midnight?” Billy asked.
“We got chu' covered, Brother!” Jethro assured him solidly, and
Oatie agreed.
“I'm worried about you men getting any rest,” Billy said.
“Not to worry, Little Brother, we're staying in an extra room in
the castle with the rest of our posse. Immediately after supper we
will be going up to bed. We'll sleep from seven bells to
eleven-thirty. That's four and a half hours. We'll do what we need
to do, transport back and hit the sack again until time to gather
the Hightowers. That should give us a couple more hours to sleep,
but when we bring them back it's gonna' be around six our time and
noon their time. They'll be going back in time six hours, but
depending on what we have to do, we can divide the time to make
our arrival a bit later in the morning to better accommodate them.
It may be a mite awkward, but we'll work it out. Trust us, Little
Brother, we'll make in happen. Have faith in us. We promise,
you'll be proud of us,” Oatie said.
“Hell, I'm already proud of you men. Don't know how much more
proud I can be. It would be like carrying coals to Newcastle,”
Billy said and smiled at them.
“That's okay. You need a chance to get caught up and rest from the
hectic pace you been keeping for the last couple of weeks. There's
no telling what's gonna' happen after the crop circle, the
streaming live delivery of the Barnyard Concert tomorrow, and the
broadcast of your interview with Doug and Wes Sunday night. It'll
be like waiting for the other boot to drop,” Jethro allowed.
“Thanks, Men, I really appreciate your help,” Billy said with
considerable humility.
* * * * * * *
Billy's immediate family and his family on the ship gathered for
supper. Wherever Zeke and his pups Dolly and Pancake went so did
his watcher-protector 'Pooh-bear.' The big, hulking watcher was
rather plain, but he was totally devoted to Zeke and his animal
family. He stayed invisible a lot, but with the other watchers
living in close harmony with the other humanoids and enjoying
their company, he began to loosen up and appear more regularly.
All the four legged critters loved him and encouraged Pooh-bear to
travel with them wherever they were going. Molly had a particular
fondness for the large watcher and wherever Zeke's family went she
was usually close behind.
The other conversant canines were gathered with the family. Daffy
and Chloe joined them before their master and caretaker came
through a gate. They came early. Jessie and Harlen were busy with
social commitments they couldn't waggle out of and made
arrangements for their 'children' to stay at the Daniels ranch for
the weekend. Their human companions planned to join them the
following morning late, just before lunch. The huge dogs were
laughing and joking with everyone and having a good time. Billy
noticed Molly was rather withdrawn and pensive like she was
looking for someone. He sat down on his boot heals and opened his
arms for her to come to him. She saw his waiting hands, smiled
real big, and ran to him.
Billy grabbed her up into his arms, gave her a big kiss, and
stood. “Why are you so pensive, Little Sister? I ain't seen you
like this in a good while,” Billy commented.
“I'm waiting for my special guest to arrive, Master Billy.
Mistress Clara just came through a gate up to the big house. She
will be coming with Mistress Kate and her ladies to have supper
with the rest of your family. I guess I am just bit pensive. I
can't wait to see her again. It's been a while, and we have much
catching up to do,” Molly said.
“Are you falling in love with Ms. Clara Mae, Little One?” Billy
asked and smiled.
“No. I already done fell, Master Billy,” Molly replied and
giggled. She was so cute she tugged at Billy's heart strings.
“Are you thinking about living with her, Missy?” Billy asked.
“It's crossed my mind, but she ain't ready for a companion right
now, Master Billy. I wouldn't want to intrude on her life and
become a burden to her. I'm fine right here at the ranch. I love
everyone, and I have my brothers and sisters to keep me company. I
also like playing the role of nurse and being a mental distraction
from fear and apprehension for the young ones. I bring comfort to
the small humans you have to work on to restore to health, sir. I
think it's become an important position for me to fill,” Molly
allowed.
“You won't get no argument from me, Pretty Lady. It's a very
important position as far as I'm concerned, and you managed to
make it your own. Ain't another one of them canines what have the
talent you got for putting a fearful child at ease. You were
wonderful with the little Ondine girl earlier today. We were very
proud of you. Take it slow, Molly. You have a home here for as
long as you want, but if you should decide you and Clara Mae need
each other, and she offers you a home with her, you must do what
your heart tells you,” Billy said quietly.
“I was originally intended to become Miss Clara's companion,
weren't I?” Molly asked Billy.
“I won't never lie to you, Molly. Yes, it's what Doc Oatie and I
talked about and thought you and Miss Clara might be perfect for
each other – only, neither one of us considered the possibility we
might fall in love with you and find it difficult to give you up,”
Billy said sincerely. “That's why there ain't nobody pushing you
to make a decision. You probably didn't have much of a choice with
your first mistress, but things have changed. You have grown into
much more than just a faithful pet. You've become a person. A
wonderful, sentient, beautiful little creature who knows about
companionship and love. Ain't nobody on this ranch what's gonna'
insist you do anything. The life you choose for yourself will be
your own, but for the sake of those who love you don't jump into
any binding relationship without first talking it over with your
family,” Billy urged the beautiful pup.
“I promise, I will, Master Billy. Miss Clara will have to
understand, I must be allowed to visit the ranch from time to time
to keep up my relationships I've developed while I been here. I
know every cowboy and cowgirl's name on this property. I'm welcome
everywhere I choose to go, and I'm not so naïve to know they love
to spoil me. It brings them joy and make me feel wanted,” Molly
said.
“You're an amazing little lady, Molly. We love you very much,”
Billy said and sat her down.
About that time, the ladies came through a gate into the huge
dining hall and Molly ran to her beloved friend, Clara Mae
Bastiaen. Clara Mae scooped up Molly and smothered her with hugs
and kisses. She shed a couple of tears to see her little friend
again.
“Welcome to the ranch, Miss Clara,” Billy hugged Clara and bussed
a kiss on her cheek as she was holding Molly.
“I couldn't miss your birthday and a chance to spend a quiet
evening with my friend, Molly,” Clara said and returned Billy's
kiss on his cheek.
“Did you bring your faithful elbow-horn?” Billy asked and grinned.
“I brought all three. The Anglican elbow, the full-bodied elbow,
and my vodee-oh-doe-elbow,” Clara replied, and they shared a
laugh, “I'm lousy at singing, but I can play 'happy birthday' on
any of my elbows and bring tears to your eyes,” Clara added.
“I'll look forward to it. I ain't got me no clue what we're gonna'
do for tomorrow, but Hell, we got us enough native talent around
this place to pull out some of our old war horses and put on a
decent show,” Billy said.
“I've always said, impromptu programs can sometimes have the
greatest surprises, and you're more likely to hear breathtakingly
original performances from spontaneous groups which haven't
over-rehearsed a piece of music,” Clara declared.
“I fully agree, Miss Clara. I hope you brought us some music to
play,” Billy agreed.
“I never travel light,” Clara said, and they shared another laugh.
One of the grooms came into the great hall to collect the four
legged critters to take them to the stables and feed them their
supper. Clara said goodbye to Molly and put her down to go with
her brothers and sisters and promised to find her after supper.

Earlier the same day~
“You look different, Brother,” Blondell Ondine said to his younger
brother Pierre, “You finally gave up like the rest of your
brothers and got implants,” he said like he figured out his
brothers difference in appearance over the small computer screen.
“No. You couldn't be more wrong, Brother. These are my teeth. I'm
proud to say, every Ondine in Texas has a new set of teeth along
with several other rather miraculous changes to our persons,”
Pierre Ondine told his brother, “I'm glad you called. I swear on
the name of some unknown god, I was just getting ready to call
you. We have experienced something of major importance yesterday,
Blondell. I don't know where to start. I know what I have to tell
you is going to sound like a cross between a science-fiction story
and a bad religious fantasy, but it's neither and both,” Pierre
told his brother with a frustrated look on his face, “My family
has been embraced by a band of Angels, Brother, living in close
proximity to us, right here in the Hill Country of Texas. There
are no other words to describe what has happened to us. Your boy,
René, was the catalyst who grabbed the attention of the leader's
younger brother,” Pierre added and tears came to his eyes.
“Calm yourself, Brother. Just start at the beginning and tell me
what you know,” Blondell said quietly to calm his youngest
brother.
“I'm afraid we did my nephew a great disservice by agreeing to
send him home to you, Brother, but if we had not, he wouldn't have
captured a video of the small UFOs while flying back to Paris and
there would be no connection which caused us to make contact with
these people,” Pierre said.
From there the words came tumbling out to Pierre's next older
brother with whom he was very close. Blondell would only stop
Pierre when he needed a clarification, but for the most part he
remained silent for the telling of his younger brother's
incredible family experience with Billy Daniels and his family.
Pierre was sometimes so moved by his telling of the story he would
burst into tears and have to stop for a minute to get himself
together. Pierre's brother, Blondell Ondine, was equally moved
when his younger brother described in detail how Billy's
Cowboy-Angels healed their little Amie Ondine and then rearranged
the Ondine men's DNA to rid them of their dreaded genetic flaw.
Pierre called for his youngest daughter. Amie came into the room
in view of her dad's camera on his laptop and smiled when she saw
it was her Uncle Blondell in Paris. “Hello, Uncle,” Amie said and
waved to him.
“Oh, my God, Amie! Look at you! You look wonderful, my beloved
niece. How do you feel?” her uncle asked.
“Like I've been given a new chance at life, and I will now live to
be as old as you and my parents. Perhaps, I will even have grand
nieces and nephews for you to bounce on your knee, Uncle,” Amie
said and smiled. “You must allow my cousin to return to us as soon
as possible, Uncle Blondell. We will take him to Master Billy and
ask him kindly to save, René. He will do it for me, I know. He's a
kind and generous man full of love. He kissed me and ate my pain
from my body to help me get from our house to his ranch,” Amie
assured her uncle.
“It cost us a fortune to send him last time,” Blondell cried.
“No, no, Brother. You don't understand. They use an advanced
trans-dimensional-transportation portal to quickly move from place
to place. The technology is years ahead of anything we have today
or it might have been if not suppressed by the fossil fuel
industry. Amie and I will come through a gate directly to René's
bedroom as soon as you can make the arrangements. We will bring
Master Billy's right-hand cowboy brother, Randy Rutherford, a
couple of his Cowboy-Angels, and perhaps our Watcher-Protectors.
Remember the brouhaha about a young boy being saved from a sure
death from a similar genetic disease in a Walmart parking lot in
the Hill Country of Texas by a young cowboy they called the Cowboy
Jesus?” Pierre asked.
“Yes, we just thought it was those crazy Americans not
understanding the basic laws of nature. You mean it was the real
thing – a real miracle – not just a spontaneous healing?” Blondell
asked.
“Exactly, Brother! Has René said anything to you about his cowboy
brother paying him a visit yesterday?” Pierre asked, “Master Randy
was with your son while they were healing Amie,” he added.
“No, I just got home a while ago and Angelica was doing volunteer
work at the local homeless shelter all day yesterday. She just got
home a few minutes ago and is in the library reading. Neither of
us has had much time to spend with our boy since he returned. We
knew about him videoing the flying saucers. We allowed a local
camera crew to come to the house and interview him. You mean he
had a visitor yesterday?” Blondell asked.
“Perhaps you should talk with René, Brother, and then get back to
us. We will be happy to come get him as soon a you can get him
ready. We will gladly bring him back here with us to the ranch.
The quicker the better so he may more easily adjust to the time
change. If you want your DNA corrected, I will speak with Master
Billy on your behalf. We can always arrange that for later, but
now, today, is the time to save our talented nephew, Blondell,”
Pierre insisted.
“Does this have anything to do with that crop circle picture of a
cowboy and his horse which appeared in southern England, at Alton
Barns, across from Stonehenge?” Blondell asked.
“Absolutely, Brother. It's a remarkable likeness of Master Billy
and his horse Samson. Some other ancient races feel it's time to
project Billy Daniels onto the international scene and his
Barnyard Concert will be broadcast live on the Internet tomorrow
afternoon. We have already accepted his invitation to be his
guests and made arrangements to be there. Master Billy's major
interview with the press will be Sunday evening and there's no
telling where it will take him. Now is the time to act to get our
beloved nephew some help so he don't get lost in the crowded
demand for Master Billy's time which might happen. Even if you
don't believe me or Amie, it will cost you nothing to make the
gamble we're telling you the factual truth,” Pierre said firmly.
“Let me talk with Angelica and René, and I'll get back to you.
Thanks, Brother, and you, too, Amie,” Blondell said and signed off
on his computer.
Blondell walked to the drawing room/library where his wife was
reading a novel. She set it aside when her husband walked into the
room. “I know that look. Whatever it is, it can't be as bad as the
trouble you're wearing on your face, Husband. We've shared too
many crises in our time together and whatever it is, we'll weather
this one as well,” Angelica said.
“It actually may not be as bad as my countenance conveys, Good
Wife,” Blondell said taking a small glass liquor tub from the
small bar, removing the top of an ice bucket, picking up a set of
silver tongs, dropping two cubes into his glass, and pouring
himself four fingers of a fine, imported malt Scotch whiskey.
“What do you know about an American Texas cowboy by the name of
Billy Daniels?” Blondell asked.
“I know you've been busy, Dear, but how could you have missed
hearing about him? He's been all over the news for several months;
wild stories about him allegedly saving the life of a young boy
with the same or similar genetic degenerative disease which
afflicts René and Amie? To say nothing of him and his musical
family being the rage and darling of the Internet world. René has
asked to buy every one of his concerts, and I have readily agreed.
They are priced for mass consumption so they might be available to
the poor as well as the more affluent. However, the low price
doesn't mean the recording or programming are second rate. It's
some of the finest performances I've heard on any continent. René
listens to them and watches the videos by the hour. I've
encouraged him. At least he's not listening to the modern
main-stream twaddle that's out there. The man conducts a symphony
orchestra and plays a piano like a god; now a huge golden-ball of
a space ship and six tiny ones painted a picture of him and his
horse in rapeseed on the side of a hill in southern England
yesterday,” Angelica said.
“The boy the cowboy saved, Randy Rutherford, came to our boy
yesterday afternoon through a new kind of device; a gate Pierre
calls a TDT, a trans-dimensional-transportation gate from the
Daniels ranch in the Hill Country of West Central Texas and spent
the better part of the afternoon with René. I just got off my
computer talking with my brother and they took Amie to Billy
Daniels about the same time René was entertaining his visitor. The
cowboy, Billy Daniels and his men, not only healed Amie, he
corrected my brother and his son's genetic flaws so there won't be
anymore problem with them having children. If that wasn't enough,
he gave every Ondine a new set of perfect teeth. Pierre and Amie
begged me to let René go with them as soon as possible through a
trans-dimensional gate and let this man, Master Billy, as they
call him, heal our boy. I don't know how he meant it, but Pierre
referred to him and his men as Cowboy-Angels,” Blondell said.
“I noticed René has been very quiet and kept to himself since he
returned. I don't think he said two words at supper last night,
and he asked for his breakfast to be brought to him in his room
this morning. I think it's time we paid our son an official
parental visit. Do you think he feels betrayed we didn't let him
stay in the Hill Country? Like he missed out on being saved from a
terrible death?” Angelica asked.
“Perhaps. The mere thought is certainly enough motivation for me
to dampen my spirits, but as Pierre pointed out, if we didn't
agree to have him come home early to save him from the gut
wrenching pain of watching his adored cousin Amie die, he never
would have made the video of the UFOs which prompted a connection
with those people. Inadvertently, his actions saved his cousin's
life and consequently, it just may save his as well. The pieces
are fitting together like a great puzzle. It's almost like
someone, somewhere, is pulling the strings while making sure two
gifted children are snatched from the jaws of death,” Blondell
said, “Our doctors haven't given us a bit of hope. They empathize,
then tell us to prepare for the inevitable, he added.
“I agree. It does seem strange and almost preordained,” Angelica
said, “Do you think René and Amie might have important rolls to
play in the future of our world?” she asked her husband.
“Of course! Why go to such convoluted lengths to bring about
certain results unless they are of great importance to the balance
of the future? Any thoughts of holding back René from taking
advantage of a possible recovery from this dread disease is
quickly leaving my reason and being replaced by a glimmer of
substantial hope,” Blondell replied.
“Then, we are in total agreement, Husband. Any hope is better than
none at all. Enough speculation! I want to hear what René has to
say. Sometimes his innocent insights can tear down any
apprehension we might have. Come, Dear, let me freshen your drink,
and bring it with you. We'll storm our son's Bastille together and
leave no man standing,” Angelica said with a dramatic flare.
“You reading those period novels again?” Blondell asked and
laughed.
“You read one, you read them all, but some are better than others,
especially the naughty ones,” Angelica allowed, and they shared a
laugh.
Blondell and Angelica always knocked on the door of their son's
room to respect his privacy. Their caretaker for René, a large
athletic man with great strength and a gentle soul named Bayrum
Listrine, a Scotsman, who always wore kilts and spoke French with
a Scottish brogue, came to the door and opened it for them. He
bowed deeply and bid them enter with a sweep of his hand.
René looked up from his computer and smiled, “Welcome! Come in,
Ma-ma! Come in, Pa-pa!” he urged his parents. “I was just showing
Mister Bayrum some things I recently videoed before he gets me
ready for bed. Won't you join us?” René cordially invited them.
(Bayrum: pronounced with a silent 'a' as in By-rum and the second
'i' in his last name pronounced as an 'e'.)
“We would be pleased and honored to join you, Son,” Blondell spoke
for them. Angelica and Blondell believed in teaching their son
manners by treating him like a respected member of their family on
occasion. Other times, they related on a more personal level.
Consequently, René developed impeccable manners.
“Is this to be a private family meeting? Should I send my man, Mr.
Listrine, to his room?” René asked.
Blondell looked at Angelica and she gave him a quick negative
shake of her head. “No, I don't think it will be necessary. Mr.
Listrine has been in the employ of our family for years; even
before you were born. What we have to discuss indirectly affects
him and his continued position,” Blondell replied.
René's apartment consisted of two bedrooms, a study, a living
area, and a formal front room which doubled as a music room with
an enormous Bösendorfer grand piano. They were gathered in the
front room. René invited his parents to have a seat and motioned
for Bayrum to sit next to him. René maneuvered his wheelchair to
be closer to his caretaker. Over the years, the young boy
developed a comfortable fondness for the giant Scotsman and shared
many secrets of his young soul with the stalwart man. Bayrum was a
rock and would never betray his young charge.
“We understand you had a visitor from Texas yesterday, Son. Would
you like to tell us about it?” Blondell asked and smiled.
“As a result of my posting the UFO video, I received the nicest
e-mail from a young cowboy in Texas by the name of Randy
Rutherford, who also sent me videos of him being healed from the
same disease I have. It was done in a parking lot by a handsome
cowboy he claims to be an enhanced human. As a result, they bonded
as brothers. The cowboy was Billy Daniels. Randy also sent me a
video of himself playing the piano at one of their Barnyard
Concerts. He suggested we were brothers, created from threads of
chance, woven into a whole-cloth, as we share many things in
common. His reasoning seemed sound, and I agreed with him.
“We made contact by Skype on our computers, and I knew when Randy
addressed me in perfect French with a delightful cowboy twang, he
was indeed my brother. Randy asked if he might come visit me in
person. I didn't understand how until he told me he could
physically transport from place to place through a
trans-dimensional-transportation gate. I didn't quite understand
the concept, but nevertheless, I gave him the coordinates to the
center of my study. I returned to my desk, flipped on my video
camera, a gate sprang up, and my new cowboy brother walked
through. We spent a wonderful afternoon getting to know each
other, and I shed tears of remorse when he left to return to
Texas. I felt like a part of my soul left with him, and I was no
longer complete,” René said proudly and smiled.
“And where were you during their visit, Mr. Listrine?” Blondell
casually asked Bayrum with no tone of accusation in his voice.
“Master René dismissed me earlier to return to my room, and said
he wouldn't be needing me until shortly before the evening meal. I
set my alarm for the proper time and began to read in my room. I
must have dozed off and didn't awaken until I heard the piano
being played. I know Master René's playing and recognized the
Ravel piece he plays quite often, but then I heard a Bach piece I
never heard him practice, which was being played flawlessly. I
decided to check it out and discovered a young cowboy about René's
age burning up the Bösendorfer with one of the finest
interpretations of a Bach Partita I ever heard outside of Glenn
Gould. René motioned for me to join them and take a seat.
"The young man was amazing. His playing was brilliant. After he
finished and we applauded for him, Master René introduced him as
his new cowboy brother, Bossman Randy Rutherford, from the Hill
Country of West Central Texas. I was not expecting the young man
to speak to me in French, but I'm ashamed to say, Master Randy's
was better than mine. I asked how he got into the house without me
knowing about it, and they patiently explained to me how he
arrived through a trans-dimensional-transportation portal. I
didn't believe them until Master Randy open a gate, took me by the
hand, and walked me through to his big brother's study in a tower
on the top of an enormous ranch house in Texas.
“We could look out the windows at everything in the surrounding
country side including the two rivers running together, cattle
roaming about, and cowboys on horses working them, the new blue
crystal city they're building and much more. I knew I was in
Texas. I have relatives who live in a small town called London,
Texas, not far from there. I have visited the town many times.
Master Randy pointed toward the Southwest and we could see the
church steeple from Master Billy's study. We didn't stay long and
returned to Master René in his study. The boys made a believer out
of me, sir,” Bayrum said.
Blondell leaned forward in his chair, put his hands together on
his knees, and spoke, “I believe Mister Listrine's account. What
do you have to offer, Young Man?” Blondell asked and smiled at his
son.
René returned his dad's smile, picked up a remote control and
clicked the huge wall-to-wall HD video screen. A hundred gigabyte
memory chip began to play back what René recorded the previous
afternoon of Randy arriving through the gate, the boys'
conversation, all the way through their performing for each other,
including Mr. Listrine joining them, up to the time Randy had to
say his tearful goodbyes, hugged Mr. Listrine, his new brother,
and returned through the gate to Texas. It was a moving experience
for everyone in the room. There was no doubt in Blondell and
Angelica's mind the three men they watched in the video bonded
with each other.
“I know it's your job, but nevertheless, I'm glad you were here,
Bayrum,” Blondell managed in a choked voice like he was trying to
swallow his emotions. Blondell used the man's first name as one
might addressing a close member of his family. It was a great
compliment to their paid servant. Bayrum understood and bowed to
them to show his humble thanks.
“I don't mean to sound like an echo, but I agree with my husband,
Mr. Listrine,” Angelica said, “We are indeed fortunate to have a
man of your caliber looking after our son, sir,” she added, and
Bayrum blushed.
“Thank you, ma'am, your kind words are greatly appreciated,”
Bayrum said.
“Then you have no fear of walking through the gate?” Blondell
asked.
“None whatsoever, Master Ondine. It tickles a little; nothing
more,” Bayrum replied.
“Your Uncle Pierre and your beautiful cousin, Amie, begged me to
let you come back to Texas and stay the rest of the summer with
them. They said they would personally come to get you as soon as
possible with Master Randy and three of his guardian
Cowboy-Angels, Clyde, Andy, and Balthazar. Are you angry because
we insisted you return to Paris?” Blondell asked his son.
“No, sir. My brother, Bossman Randy, explained to me everything
happened like it should. He has greater contact with several
advanced races of people, ancient societies, who sometimes
manipulate situations to achieve certain results they hope to
bring about. I gave up the angst and feelings of personal
selfishness I gathered from having to return early. I wrongfully
entertained the thought Uncle Pierre and Aunt Genevieve didn't
want me to participate as a part of their family and share in
their grief. I felt rejected, but Randy helped me understand it
was foolish and immature of me. I knew Amie was much worse than
me, and she would not last long. She shared her wonderful but ugly
beast, her secret watcher-protector, Scarbo, with me to drink his
sweet healing milk from his breast. I was beginning to improve,
but Amie was only getting worse. However, my beloved brother
helped me come to realize none of this could have come about were
it not for my video of Master Billy's ships over the Atlantic as
they were flying to rescue the fallen angels who were placed in
stasis thousands of years ago miles beneath Mount Ararat in
Turkey,” René explained.
“Do I even want to know about about Fallen Angels, UFOs, and my
son feeding from the breast of an ugly beast named Scarbo?”
Blondell asked and grinned. He watched his wife roll her eyes and
look heavenward like it was all too bizarre for them to handle at
the moment. They shared a laugh.
“Better you ask Uncle Pierre and Amie, Papa,” René replied, “The
rest will be revealed to you in time. By now Scarbo and his son Le
Gibet are bonded members of our Texas Ondine family. I hope to
have one of my own someday,” René added sincerely.
“Do you want to return to Texas, Son?” Blondell asked his boy.
“Of course I want to return. I don't think we have a choice if you
want me to live. I caught a glimpse of the future, and I know it's
going to be exciting and wonderful. I want to live to see it,
Papa. I want to become a part of it as a whole boy and man,” René
replied almost on the verge of tears.
“Then, I think you should go, but I have one condition,” Blondell
said.
“What's that, Papa?” René asked.
“You must agree to allow your caretaker, Mr. Listrine, to
accompany you and look after you,” Blondell Ondine said firmly.
“Would you like to gate to Texas with me, my new Cowboy-Brother,
and our family in Texas, Mister Listrine?” René asked Bayrum.
“It would be an honor and a pleasure to accompany you, Young
Master,” Bayrum replied.
“Good!” Blondell exclaimed, “Then I will return my brother's call
immediately and make arrangements for them to come for you as soon
as possible. Your uncle and aunt feel terrible about sending you
home before the end of summer, but they were not to blame. Your
mother and I made the decision. We didn't want you to have to
suffer the horror of watching your cousin Amie grow increasingly
weak and have to experience what we know as the final destination
for the terribly debilitating disease you share. We thought the
emotional shock and trauma would only hasten your own demise, and
we were selfish to want you for ourselves as long as possible.
Blondell continued, “They want you there as soon as possible –
early enough to enjoy the following day at the Daniels Ranch with
them. You men gather your things and be ready. I don't know
exactly when they planned to come for you. I will know more after
I talk with your uncle. You only have a short time to be packed
and ready to go. Your uncle said he has already made arrangements,
and they will come within an hour of my call. He thinks it will
give you a better chance to adjust to the time change, and I agree
with him. Go and gather you things, and I'll let you know more
after I talk with Pierre,” Blondell said.
“We'll be ready, sir,” Bayrum assured him, “Come, Young Master, we
will gather your things first, and while you enjoy your lunch, I
will pack. I have far less to worry about,” the big man servant
added and smiled.
The arrangements were made between Blondell and his brother
Pierre. Pierre notified Randy, whom Billy put in charge of
gathering his adopted brother, René. Randy and his favorite
Cowboy-Angels, A, B, and C (Andy, Balthazar, and Clyde) came
through a gate the young cowboy opened into the Ondine's foyer
within minutes of receiving Pierre's call. The entire Ondine
family, including Scarbo and Le Gibet, was waiting for Randy and
his posse. Amie recognized the three Cowboy-Angels and ran to
their waiting arms to give them a big hug and a petite kiss on
their cheek. They returned her affection and told her how well she
looked.
“Papa is taking us with you. I know it was only yesterday you
cared for me, but it's so good and reassuring to have you men join
us,” Amie said.
“We're honored to be here, Mistress Amie, and glad to be of
service,” Balthazar said.
“Will you show my aunt and uncle your beautiful wings, sir,” Amie
asked.
“Bossman Randy is our master for this trip. I'm sure if you ask
him nicely, he will have us wing-up for your relatives, ma'am,”
Balthazar replied.
“I love your wings, Angel Balthazar,” Amie said sincerely.
“Why, thank you, Miss Amie, I'm proud of them,” Balthazar replied.
“Who have you chosen to go with us, Master Ondine?” Randy asked
after shaking hands with Pierre.
“Everyone in our family wants to go to say 'hello' to our
relatives. It's been a while since we've seen them, Master Randy.
My family insisted on taking Scarbo and Le Gibet with us. After
all, they have become a part of our family and will remain so as
long as they like. They will remain invisible until we call for
them to appear,” Pierre replied and winked at Randy. Randy got his
message he wanted to surprise his brother and his wife.
“You realize your nephew can see them even when they're invisible
to adults, don't you?” Randy asked.
“I'm betting my nephew won't give us away,” Pierre said wickedly
and laughed. The rest of his family laughed with him.
“I'll send him a mental message when we arrive not to let on about
them,” Randy said.
“Are you telepathic?” Pierre asked.
“Only in emergencies or to avoid an awkward situation,” Randy
said, “I'm as fully enhanced as my big Cowboy-Angel brothers, and
so is Amie. She will develop her talents as she grows, but she
will have many who will help and guide her; however, we won't grow
wings until we reach puberty, sir,” Randy replied.
“My baby girl will become an Angel? But, of course she will! She
already 'is' an Angel in our eyes,” Pierre said and laughed. “Will
René grow wings as well?” he asked.
“Oh, yes, most certainly, Master Ondine,” Randy replied, “Shall we
go then?” Randy asked.
Randy opened a gate using new coordinates René gave his dad to
convey to his Uncle Pierre so his new brother could open the gate
in the larger living area to more readily accommodate those coming
through. It was a good call on René's part because there was a
rather large group of people who came walking through the gate.
Even though René's parents saw videos of Randy coming and going
through a gate, the actual gate surprised them, and they jumped
back. René looked at Bayrum and grinned. Bayrum winked at him, and
they laughed.
Randy, Amie, and Giles came through first, followed by the older
Ondine children, Chantel and Dermont, with their parents Pierre
and Genevieve bringing up the rear. Following them were Randy's
three big cowboy brothers. Unseen by the adult Ondines and Mr.
Listrine, the Ondine watcher-protectors Scarbo and Le Gibet
followed the cowboys. Randy sent his message to his brother in his
wheelchair not to let on about them. René grinned and nodded he
understood.
Randy was wearing his big buckaroo hat but immediately removed it
like a gentleman upon entering the Ondine home. His Cowboy-Angels
followed suit and removed their hats as well. Randy bowed deeply
before Mr. Ondine holding his hat to his side. He returned
upright, looked the handsome man in his eyes, offered his hand,
and Blondell took the young cowboy's hand in his. In perfect
French, Randy spoke to Mr. Ondine, “Good day, Mister Ondine, my
name is Randy Rutherford. I'm the Bossman for our family ranch
just South of Fredericksbug, Texas. I know I'm young to be Bossman
of a ranch, but there are no other males in my family to fill the
position. I never knew my dad. He was killed in the Middle East
oil-wars before I was born. It is a great honor and privilege to
meet the man who sired such a wonderful and talented young man as
René. I hope you will excuse my boldness, but in the short time
we've known each other, I have come to think on your son as my
brother, and I'm hoping our bonding of friendship and brotherhood
will last a lifetime, sir,” Randy said.
“Welcome to our home, Young Man. If your playing of Bach is any
indication of you sensitivity, your ability to feel empathy, to
give and receive love in equal measure, then you and my son have
my blessing to bond as brothers,” Blondell said as he shook
Randy's hand and smiled at him. “As far as I'm concerned, a man
can't have too many brothers, whether they were born under the
same roof or not,” Blondell added.
“I am in full agreement, sir. Them three stalwart cowboys I
brought with me I think on as my brothers, as well,” Randy replied
and smiled.
Randy bowed before Mrs. Ondine and waited for her to offer her
hand. Angelica was not used to the custom but felt a need to do so
with the young cowboy standing before her. Randy took her hand,
bent over and gently kissed it, then returned upright. “It is also
a great honor to meet my new brother's mother. René showed me a
picture of you and Mr. Ondine, but it did not do justice to your
beauty, ma'am. Now I know where my brother got his good looks. I
hope we become good friends, Mrs. Ondine,” Randy said politely and
Angelica acted like she was stunned by the young cowboy's manners
and gentility.
“I'm sure we will, Master Rutherford,” Angelica replied.
Randy bowed again to both adults and turned to walk over to René
to greet him and his handsome man, Bayrum. The rest of the Ondine
family went to their relatives and exchanged greetings, hugs, and
kisses. When they finished, Randy went to his posse and told them
to follow him. Randy took them to Blondell and Angelica. “Mr. and
Mrs. Ondine, may I present my personal posse of Cowboy-Angels and
protectors: Cowboy Andy, Balthazar, and Clyde,” Randy introduced
them.
Blondell Ondine shook each man's hand. He was particularly
fascinated by the rings through Balthazar and Clyde's noses. “Why
are two ringed and Andy isn't?” he asked.
“I've yet to be rewarded by our master with a set of rings;
however, after our encounter with the Demons guarding the the
Fallen-Angels, I just may be found worthy enough to be ringed by
our master. In our world, it is an honor, sir,” Cowboy Andy
replied in perfect French.
“Do all you men speak French?” he asked.
“Oui,” they replied.
If they're Angels, where are their wings?” Blondell asked.
“Gentlemen!” Randy exclaimed, “Give me your shirts,” Randy
ordered. The three cowboys set their hats on a table, removed
their shirts, and handed them to Randy. “Please, wing-up for the
Ondines, Gentlemen,” Randy commanded. In a great flash of light
the three cowboys disappeared and reappeared just as quickly fully
fledged in their beautiful wings. There was a gasp from everyone.
The two older Ondine children never saw the cowboys morph as
Angels before. Andy, Clyde, and Balthazar were outstandingly
handsome in their beautiful wings and heavy leather harnesses
covering much of their torso. Randy could see Blondell didn't miss
the rings through Clyde and Balthazar's tits. He smiled, but he
didn't comment other than to shout at first seeing them.
“Holy merde!” Blondell exclaimed, “You weren't kidding, Brother.
They really are Angels,” he gasped.
Amie broke away from her family and walked over to Scarbo and Le
Gibet. She took each by the hand and led them to stand before
René. René was all smiles as he held out his arms for Scarbo to
take him. Suddenly, the young crippled boy in the wheelchair was
air-born and appeared to be floating unsupported while sucking on
something. Bayrum made a move to grab his young charge, but Amie
stepped in front of him and held up her hand in caution. “Easy,
Mister Listrine, my cousin René is in no danger. He's feeding from
the breast of our family Watcher-Protector, our great and
wonderful beast, Scarbo. I'm holding the hand of his young son, Le
Gibet. You can't see them, but anyone under the age of puberty
can. We didn't want anyone to panic if they came through the gate
with us,” Amie explained sweetly.
As soon as Bayrum relaxed a bit, Amie ordered Scarbo and Le Gibet
to show themselves and they appeared to the adults. Pierre Ondine
and his wife Genevieve laughed at the look on their relation's
faces. Not to be outdone, Blondell took one look and grinned, “I
thought you said they were ugly beasts, Brother?” he asked, “The
big one wears a scar, but they are far from ugly,” Blondell added.
“We agree. We don't think they are ugly, but we prepare folks for
the worst should they become frightened of the unknown,” Pierre
explained.
“They are magnificent creatures. Welcome Scarbo! Welcome Le
Gibet!” Blondell said, “Now I understand why René might want one
for a companion. I would want one myself, if I were younger,” he
added.
The Ondine family didn't stay long. Randy asked if Blondell and
Angelica could attend their afternoon concert the next day. He
would open a gate for them. They promised they would download it
on their computers, but they had other obligations they must
attend to. They thought it was important for René to go with his
aunt and uncle's family to complete his vacation away from Paris
on his own. They promised they would attend the next Barnyard
Concert. Randy helped pile René's stuff in his wheelchair and
Bayrum carried his own suitcase. Scarbo carried the young cripple
boy back through the gate in his big arms with René sucking away
on his big friend's teat. Randy pushed his brother's wheelchair
for him. Randy remained by himself for only a moment longer and
once again shook Blondell's hand. “It's been a great pleasure to
meet you good folks. I'll look forward to seeing you again, soon,”
he said in perfect French.
“You're welcome here, anytime, Young Man,” Blondell said. Angelica
waved and wiped a tear from her eye.
After they were gone and the gate disappeared, Angelica turned
into her husband's big arms, and they comforted each other. “Have
we done the right thing, Husband?” she asked quietly.
“How many parents can claim they entrusted their son to the care
of Angels while he is still alive, Good Wife?” Blondell asked in
reply.

Randy transported the Ondines back to the foyer of their ranch
house. No one was around to see them. Pierre and Angelica made
sure the blinds were closed and heavily draped before they left.
Randy suggested they further transport René to the Daniels ranch
as instructed by his big brother. Billy knew about his little
brother's planned sojourn to the sumptuous Ondine estate in Paris
and approved it. He insisted when they returned, René should not
have to suffer a moment longer than absolutely necessary with his
debilitating disease. He also instructed Randy to bring Scarbo and
Le Gibet with them.
To keep their party small, Pierre wanted to leave his family
behind including their Watcher-Protectors. Only he would accompany
René, Bayrum, and Randy to the Daniels ranch, but René insisted
his cousin Giles and the Ondine family's watchers join them. The
boys were as close as Amie and René because they were nearer each
other's age and shared the same affliction. Giles was oldest and
good enough to introduce them to his Watcher-Protector so they
might share the bounty. Amie and René were terrified of the great
scared beast at first, but it was only through Giles example,
patience, and encouragement, he convinced them Scarbo was a friend
and his delicious milk held magical properties to heal young
children.
The two younger children found out for themselves, Giles wasn't
blowing smoke up their butts nor was he an evil prankster. They
discovered Giles was loving and compassionate and only wanted to
help them get better the same way he did from drinking Watcher
milk. The more they improved the greater respect they held for
their slightly older sibling and cousin; but alas, they didn't
start consuming Scarbo's milk as early as Giles did and after a
while, they began to backslide. Their guarded clandestine
medicinal-milk producing giant-beast became the center of their
bold bond. The others seemed to appreciate their bond as an heroic
effort to survive, and no one had a problem with Giles joining
them. Randy informed Pierre of Billy's request to in include
Scarbo and Le Gibet, and he agreed.

Randy set his coordinates for the great hall on Captain Nick's
ship his master gave him when he tickled Billy and told him they
arrived at the Ondine ranch and would be transporting to the ship
immediately. Everyone was there finishing their supper and eating
dessert when a gate opened and Randy's party of Pierre Ondine, his
son Giles, Scarbo, who was carrying the small boy, René. Le Gibet
walked by his father's side, and René's man, Bayrum Listrine,
walked through last.
Billy and Nick got up from their chairs and walked over to them.
Randy introduced those whom Pierre and Giles never met before.
Everyone in Billy's family was there to meet and greet Randy's
party. Pierre recognized a number of the ladies who were so kind
and hospitable to him, his wife, and daughter the day before, but
there were many others he didn't recognize and was flabbergasted
by the variety of critters and humanoids of all shapes and sizes.
It was like walking into another world. “Where is this place? It
looks like a medieval castle,” Pierre asked.
“It is very similar, Mister Ondine; however, it dates back
centuries before the middle ages. You're on board a great space
ship which belongs to me and my partner here, Captain Nick. We
have supper here every Friday to gather in this great hall as
family before we begin our weekend,” Billy explained, “Come! You
and your people join us, and we will take care of your nephew as
soon as we finish,” Billy added holding his arms out for Scarbo to
hand René to him.
“Master Billy!” René exclaimed, “It's so good to meet you in
person, sir,” he said.
“I share your pleasure, Master René. It's good to have you here.
You and your family are welcome among us,” Billy said in French.
“I see you finally took time to load your language apt,” Randy
said snidely.
“Self-defense!” Billy shot back, and they shared a laugh.
“Who are those three giant blue men?” Pierre asked.
“The largest is the head Angel of the Fallen-Angels and his name
is Metatron. We rescued him with the rest of them and he's only
been with us since Wednesday evening late. The rest of the six
hundred Angels we shipped off to two planets in different galaxies
for refurbishing and reeducation as to the changes in worlds and
galaxies since their forced incarceration into what was meant as
permanent stasis. They also will be enhanced with new language
apps depending on the planet where they plan to settle down.
Metatron's two buddies which are a lighter shade of blue are two
gentle giants what are brothers. They are a bonded pair,” Billy
explained, “Not to worry, sir, it will come to you quickly and you
will come to understand these folks and how they fit into the
picture,” Billy added.
“And they are all your slaves?” he asked.
“They're my family, Master Ondine. It is their responsibility to
take care of their master and his family, and I allow them to do
so. In return, I see to their well-being and take care of them as
best I can. They own me, and they have become my life, sir,” Billy
said firmly.
“Like your horse owns you?” he asked.
“Exactly, Mister Ondine,” Billy replied.
“I don't fully understand the analogy, but I think I can
understand how it might work as a metaphor. It's certainly a
creative and open way of looking at your situation,” Pierre said.
“Observe and learn, Mr. Ondine. I will concede it's difficult to
comprehend at first, but it will come to you, I promise,” Billy
assured him.
Pierre didn't answer but smiled and began to look around the great
hall at the more unusual critters; Archie and Edith; two half-pint
cowboys, Poly and Cass; several of the Sun Bears either running
here and there or flying overhead. Dwarfs, giants, elf like
creatures, and large blue warriors. Billy didn't hide any of his
and Nick's crew. Leon the Lion man was there; Pan, the
Panther-man; Gog, the giant; and Raza, the dragon man. Pierre was
fascinated, but he didn't seem to be afraid or frightened.
The young accept diversity more easily than adults. René was
having a ball and several of the more exotic of Captain Nick's
crew stopped by his chair next to Billy to welcome him to their
world. Giles was equally enthralled and captivated by the many
different creatures on the ship. The boys' attention was soon
captivated by the talking dogs. René and Giles were in heaven
petting and talking with them. Giles little sister told him about
Molly. Their mother swore his little sister was telling the truth,
but he had his doubts until he met Molly himself. He was as taken
by her charms as much as Amie.
* * * * * * *
After serving their guests some herb tea and a tasty dessert,
Billy announced he needed as many fully fledged Cowboy-Angels as
he could get to help him with several healings and adjustments he
needed to get done that evening. He asked for a show of hands on
those who wished to participate. Every qualified hand went up in
the room. He thought it was a bit too many when he saw Oatie and
his crew bound for England in several hours with their hands up.
He smiled. “I thought you men were going up to bed to get some
shut-eye before you gate to Alton Barns to hook-up with the
Hightowers,” Billy said.
“The more current you draw, the easier and quicker it is to get
the job done. You know how much more difficult it is in the ship
than in the barns. We won't be losing that much sleep; besides,
we's cowboys. We can do without a little sleep,” Oatie said and
the others scheduled to go with him agreed and grumbled like a
retreating storm.
“Run away, Kemosabe!” Nick said under his breath, and Billy
laughed.
“Aww right!” Billy exclaimed, “You men will be a welcome addition.
Let's get to the dungeon and begin. Since our guests will be
naked, lets don't make them feel self-conscious. Boots and wings
only, Gentlemen!” Billy exclaimed.
“Hosanna!” Randy shouted, and everyone replied, “Hosanna, in the
highest!”
Billy sent Scarbo and Le Gibet off to another part of the castle
to be groomed by four of his new grooms. He insisted they be gated
to the ranch at least once a week to be groomed if they plan to
live in close proximity to the Ondine family. He stressed he
wouldn't ask any more of them than he does his own
Watcher-Protectors, but if they were going to be a more ubiquitous
part of human society they must change some of their old ways.
They would continue to be groomed in the castle on the Daniels
ranch until the Ondines could make arrangements for their own
grooms.
René was quickly learning who the bulls were within Billy's herd
of Cowboy-Angels and of them all, three stood out as his
favorites. The first was the Bull of the Hill Country, Elmer
Breedlove. The next was old Zeke, and the third was Grover
Parsnip. Randy assured his little brother he had excellent taste
in Cowboy-Angels.
Those who volunteered to gather the healing ethers from the ethos
of the cosmos to help facilitate the improvement of the young boys
health were many; starting with the Gumbo-Angels, were Zagan Vine;
Orobas Gamagyn; Eligor Bathin; Uzza Forcas; and Gadreel Gaap,
better known as Gator Gap. Along with them, from Arizona, was Ipos
Kokabiel. Billy came to lump Etienne Beaudreaux, Ray Escobar,
David Breedlove, and Cletus Abernathy with the Gumbo-Angels. The
Gumbo-Angels announced to Billy earlier in the day they would stay
through his birthday celebration, but the following Monday they
would be gating back to the swamp. However, every Angel swore they
would gate back often for weekends or as they might be needed.
Poly and Cass winged up to participate. Young René struck a chord
in them, and they wanted to help.
Archie and Edith saw it as a family affair and added their help.
For Buck and Hank, is was a duty in which they were proud to
participate. Others from Billy's immediate family were his Uncle
Nathan, and his mate Tron Garrett; Moss Garrett, and his mate
Enoch Redbone; the Sheriff of Mason County, Will Tate, his dad
Buster, and his younger brother, Everett. Then there was the
Breedlove clan, Elmer, Vox, Oatie, and Jethro. Also Perry Reed and
his saddle-buddy Mick Flynn; Bubba Kirkendall, his buddy Jack
McCormack, and their friend Grover Parsnip. Enhanced men gathered
into the Daniels family included Randy's uncle, Billy Bob Bane;
Odin Bluetooth; Thor; Bart Langstrom, Marco Obbligatto, and
Wilbur, the pure. Present among the fallen-angels who escaped
stasis were, Cowboy Andy; Andrew; Clyde; and Balthazar; Uriel, and
his companion, Sandalphon; Macker-el and Garth-el; Slipweasel and
Rum-dum; and Gabriel. Also Metatron, Michael, Raphael, Samael.
Last but not least, Billy's surrogate pa, Nick, winged up to help
add his considerable strength to his master's healing bond.
The men gathered in the dungeon of the great ship. Billy explained
to his new guests it used to be a dungeon, but now it was used for
emergency purposes and healing special guests. Pierre and Giles
knew the drill from the previous evening when Billy took them to
the slave processing center in the old barn. Bayrum looked at
Pierre for instructions. “Just remove your clothing, Son,” Pierre
used the familiar with Bayrum and smiled, “When in Rome, my good
man, we do as the Romans do...” Pierre said and Bayrum nodded his
understanding. He began to remove his clothing along with the
other men. Billy had Randy outfit the three visitors with a
handsome, brand new pair of western boots.
Randy was with them and added, “Not to worry, Mr. Listrine, my big
brother insists a man is just plumb naked without his boots,”
Randy said and winked at the men. They shared a laugh. Bayrum
wondered how the big heavy buckaroo boots would look with his
kilt. He imagined the combination just might be a winning one. He
decided Master Billy was right. He didn't feel quite so naked
wearing his boots. Bayrum certainly didn't have anything to feel
shy about. He was uncut and hung like a Highland Bull. René wasn't
the lest shy about being naked, and found lying on the comfortable
black leather padded table as the center of attention was much to
his liking. He had his new brother holding one hand and his cousin
Giles holding his other on opposite sides, with his man Bayrum and
his uncle behind them.
Billy was the last cowboy to wing up, and if the other
Cowboy-Angels weren't impressive enough, Bayrum gasped at the
beauty of Billy's golden wings. Billy looked around him and
realized he had one of the most powerful gatherings of men in one
place on the planet and his work for the evening would be swift
but sure. He rather liked the idea Oatie volunteered to help and
was by his side to make sure he didn't make any mistakes. It was
an impressive sight to see when Billy's posse of Cowboy-Angel
winged-up at the same time. The rustle of wings was like nothing
else they every heard. It suddenly reminded Pierre of an old
Hitchcock film he watched years ago in an old movie-art theater,
“Les Oiseaux.”
Oatie drew a small amount of blood from René's small arm and
released it into a sterile petri dish. He dipped his finger in to
taste and passed it to Billy, Nick, and last to Sylvan Aspidistra.
Sylvan was not yet enhanced but his heroism in the chamber of the
Fallen-Angels was exemplary. Sylvan and his large, massively built
Master Jurgen Ironmonger loaded as many of the distressed Angels
as anyone, and their bravery in battle with the dark demons was
fearless. Billy would not forget the likes of them, Tree Griffin,
Tank Barger, and Pete Breedlove. He was keen to keep Sylvan in the
healers-loop of information to share equally with him to possibly
widen his experience as well as share his own knowledge with them.
Nick enthusiastically approved Billy's decision and shared with
his master Sylvan Aspidistra's reputation as a healer was gold in
several galaxies.
They agreed, René was not as far advanced as Amie and attributed
his resistance to the disease to his Watcher-milk therapy with
Scarbo. Oatie brought the portable internal scanner and the men
looked at each area of the young boy's small body. Rene's legs
were withered to the point he couldn't possibly support himself to
walk and the gradual wasting of the disease could be seen slowly
creeping up his spin to begin a major attack on his liver, spleen,
and ultimately his heart and brain. They pointed out the major
damage to René's uncle and protector. They shook their heads in
wonder the boy could be functioning at all. They could only
imagine, through the toughest strength-of-will the young man
somehow managed to pull himself together to get through another
day. Their admiration for René became boundless and their love and
hope for his recovery overwhelmed them.
Billy and Oatie worked on the boy for almost an hour. There was a
jovial mood in the room. Billy and Oatie worked like two skilled
surgeons repairing and enhancing first one area and then another.
René's young emaciated body was beginning to fill out and take on
a new bloom of health, and those new to the experience marveled at
the wonder of it all. Bayrum stood with tears streaming down his
highlander cheeks, but he kept a smile on his face from his joy at
seeing the small boy's body come together; a young boy who became
his charge from the time René could barely sit up by himself.
Blondell and Angelica talked about a nurse, but others urge them
to find a good man. They were never sorry they employed Bayrum
Listrine. They were not unaware a bond developed between them
which bound them by admiration and brotherly love.
When they were finished with eradicating the disease, they set up
the mechanism to route it from René's body through his waste. He
would neither experience pain nor discomfort from the lost of the
failed and distorted tissue. Watcher milk would quickly work to
rebuild and replace the missing tissue. It was complete and René
would recover, but now came the fun part. Rebuilding his body to a
strength it would be strong enough the disease could never return.
Part of that was done when they changed and modified René's
genetic code to kill the disease. Now they were beefing him up and
finally came to his genitals. As his uncle commented to Billy upon
his observation René was uncircumcised, “No Ondine man will ever
be circumcised in our family,” he said proudly with strength.
Billy grinned and waved his hands over René's cock and balls. They
instantly grew larger until several men begin to laugh. “I think
all heroes should have brag'n rights. Don't you agree, Brother
Ondine?” Billy said, looking Pierre in his eyes, and grinning.
“Mais oui, mon Capitain!” Pierre exclaimed in French, “But, of
course!” he added in English. “What man can say he has enough? You
never offered me that honor,” Pierre said with some remorse and
everyone laughed.
“Saving Amie was a family necessity, Brother, as any father would
his child, but saving your nephew placed you in the hero category.
Convincing your brother and his wife they should act now and allow
him to come with you was truly an act of heroism. When we finish
with your nephew, I will reward you accordingly. Likewise, your
boy, Giles, was a great hero to share his knowledge of his
Watcher-Protectors with his little sister and cousin. I will
adjust him in kind,' Billy said.
They were finished with René, and they placed him on the second
table which the back popped up and could support someone like they
were sitting up in bed. A groom brought him a tall glass of
chilled Watcher milk and urged him to sip it slowly. Billy kept
his word, and enlarged Pierre and his son, Giles; however, he went
one step further and totally enhanced them. Pierre would begin to
grow a set of wings within twenty-four hours but Giles wouldn't
fledge until puberty. Billy didn't tell them about his
'full-monty' adjustment right away.
“Now we will have a taste of your blood, Master Listrine,” Billy
said like it was not a request.
“I'm fine, Master Daniels,” Bayrum humbly replied.
“We'll be the judge of that, sir,” Billy said quietly but
convincingly.
Bayrum looked at Pierre and he nodded his head for him to go-along
with Master Billy, and the big man consented. His blood was drawn
and the four men in charge sampled it.
“Not good!” said Sylvan Aspidistra.
“Don't scare the man to death,” Nick said, “Ain't nothing we can't
handle,” he added.
“You don't know how lucky your are, being this young man's
'Gentleman' Mr. Listrine,” Oatie said winking at René.
“Have you ever had a colonoscopy procedure, Mr. Listrine,” Billy
asked.
“No, never. Please call me, Bayrum, sir,” he said.
“When you urinate does it feel like you can't get it all out? Do
you stand and try to squeeze more out, but it just won't come;
then, you give up and walk away feeling like you still need to
pee?” Billy asked.
“Yes, sir. More often of late,” Bayrum replied.
“Let's have a look through the scope, Doc Oatie,” Billy said and
they began to look, “See these, and these, and this. There's
thirty to fifty of them polyps in you lower colon what are
pre-cancerous. Now we swing up to this little thing here, and see
this growth on it?” Billy pointed it out.
“Yes, sir,” Bayrum replied.
“It's a cancerous growth on your prostate gland. Too much Haggis
I'm afraid,” Billy said and got a couple of suppressed laughs. “If
not eliminated immediately, the cancer will quickly spread to the
polyps in your colon; it will become like a forest fire in your
lower colon, and there ain't no cure after that,” he added.
“But I love Haggis,” Bayrum said quietly.
“Yes, but it don't love you, Bayrum,” Billy said.
“I'm still a young man. I'm only thirty-six, sir. Can you do
anything for me, Master Billy?” he asked almost on the verge of
tears.
“Of course we can. We can fix you up like new, but you must
promise to give up Haggis, and all highly processed red meats,”
Billy said, “You can eat your fill of organically grown beef or
deer meat on our ranch. You can enjoy our brisket tomorrow, but
Europe is as bad as our country at adding deadly chemicals and
physically devastating antibiotics and hormones to animal food. It
will cause all sorts of problems for you,” he added.
“It will be hard, but I can do it, sir,” Bayrum said.
Billy and Oatie went to work on Bayrum and within an hour they
completed their cure. Billy gave his cock some extra heft and
lengthened it about another inch and a half. Bayrum was very
pleased and his urination problem was no more. Billy and Oatie
decided not to tell Bayrum he was about to become an Angel as well
as Pierre. They figured an exceptional young man like René would
need all the protection he could get. Having finished with the the
Ondine guests, Billy made a small speech. "Since I have you
gathered, and we have such great power this evening, I'm going to
ask your indulgence in another matter. Master Oatie, you and your
posse can depart if you like and get some rest before you leave
for England,” Billy said.
“What are you planning, Brother?” Oatie asked.
“Three more enhancements,” Billy said quietly so only only those
close could hear him.
“In for a penny, in for a pound. How many of my group would like
to remain to help?” Oatie asked. Every hand went up. “There, you
have it, sir. We done the hard work yesterday anyway. We were
going to surprise you. All we have to do is gather them today and
gate them back. As long as we're within the time zone, we'll have
them back in plenty of time before the big feed and concert. I'll
call and tell them we might be an hour or so late,” Oatie said.
“I don't know what to say, but thank you, Brother,” Billy said.
Billy saw the four ambassadors from Bubba-7-stars standing to the
side with big smiles on their faces. Doug Quilty and Wes Taylor
were standing with them and smiled. Through all the healings and
working to heal and refurbish the Ondine family, Doug and Wes were
there to witness the wonders of the Daniels family and Master
Billy in particular. They were astounded his powers went so much
further than they originally thought and way beyond anything their
Station Manager could conceive -- to say nothing of what Parsons
could imagine or how she might react. Doug and Wes saw it as
private and was precious information they pledged to keep to
themselves.
Billy made an announcement, “During this next week I plan to
acknowledge and reward those who went with us on our perilous
journey to Turkey and the depths of Mount Ararat. There is no
particular order why I chose to honor one first over another but
more as a matter of convenience at the moment. With that in mind,
I have three men I would like to honor this evening. The first is
Ramson Snoddy,” Billy said, and Randy let out a 'whoop' you could
hear for miles. “Run out of 'Hosannas,' Little Brother?” Billy
asked.
“Naw, them's for later, Big Brother. My foreman deserves a big
cowboy 'whoop,'” Randy decided.
“Good to know, Bossman. Will you please come forward, Mr. Snoddy?”
Billy asked. “Is there anyone among us who would deny this fine
cowboy, the foreman of the Rutherford ranch, entry into the
fraternal brotherhood of Cowboy-Angels?” Billy asked loudly, “Let
him speak now or forever hold his tongue,” Billy added, “No? Then
I will tell my reasons for bestowing this honor upon him. From the
time we touched down in the great underground vaults to the time
we lifted off, Ram Snoddy was one of the first men to set foot on
forbidden ground and one of the very last to lift his boot from
the ancient dust. He was everywhere at once, organizing and
getting things done, lending a hand to any brother who needed
support. Finally, when he could have gone aboard the ship and
simply waited for the rest of those on the front line to retreat,
he was there with them, side by side, back to back, throwing
anything he could get his hands on. He recklessly but heroically
defied danger and ran into the battle zone to gather more metal
spears for him and his comrades to throw back at the enemy. He was
a powerhouse whose strength, bravery, and compassion, was
incomparable!” Billy exclaimed.
Everyone applauded for Ram as he came forward and knelt before
Master Billy. “Arise, Brother, and get on the table,” Billy said
and Ram obeyed him. With the power he had available, Billy
enhanced Ram Snoddy to become a Cowboy-Angel. Ram was a pretty
well-put-together cowboy and Billy had little to do with physical
corrections. The question crossed his mind, how do you improve on
perfection? There were smaller things he made larger –
considerably larger. Then it occurred to him the small man looked
out-of-balance. Perhaps Ram would like to grow into them so Billy
turned on the smaller man's genetic growth system which instructed
Ram's body to stop growing way too soon. Ram would be able to
slowly grow in physical size and stature until Billy turned off
his growth switch again. Billy set the timer perfectly. The
thought came to him, Ram and his Bossman would grow up together
until Randy stormed and stomped through puberty and Master Billy
chose to pull-the-plug on Ram's growth machine, but he wouldn't
stop the smaller man's growth until Ram Snoddy became the
Cowboy-Master of Billy Bob Bane's dreams.
* * * * * * *
After Ram hugged and kissed his master, and everyone applauded for
him, he took his place by Randy, and his uncle, Ramrod Billy Bob
Bane. They were proud of their foreman. Billy called their
attention. “Would Master Tank Barger and his mate, Mr. Tree
Griffin, come forward?” Billy asked and the two men came forward
with big grins on their face. Tank fell to his knees before Billy
and motioned for his slave to do the same. Tree dropped down next
to his master and bonded mate. “Do you men wish to become
Cowboy-Angels?” Billy asked.
“We talked about it, but never thought we might be offered the
honor, Master Billy. Of course we want to become Cowboy-Angels,
with all our hearts, and help you and your cause anyway we can,
sir” Tank replied.
“I need to hear from you, Brother Griffin,” Billy prompted Tree.
“My master speaks for us, Master Billy. His heart is my heart,
sir, and we are of the same mind,” Tree said.
“Smart man, Brother,” Billy said and grinned.
“Hosanna!” shouted Randy and again, every man in the dungeon
echoed, “Hosanna, in the highest!”
“Is Randy the 'hosanna' man?” Billy heard Pierre Ondine ask Oatie.
“Pretty much...” Oatie replied and grinned.
“I'll explain later, Uncle,” René whispered.
“If it hadn't been for these two men and their expertise in
military weaponry, I don't like to think how many casualties and
perhaps even fatalities we might have suffered. As far I'm
concerned, one casualty was more than enough,” Billy said.
“Hear! Hear!” Tron shouted and everyone agreed.
“Rise my good and faithful warriors. Who will be first to claim
his wings?” Billy asked.
Without hesitation Tank spoke up, “My slave has always put me
first in his life since the day he accepted me as his master, and
so he has for many years. Today, he will be first. He will become
the first Cowboy-Angel in our family-bond,” Tank said.
“So be it, Master Barger,” Billy said, “Since you ain't got no
clothes on, Slave Griffin, in keeping with our dungeon rules for
enhancements, make yourself to home on our leather table. Any
enlargements, Master Barger?” Billy asked Tank.
“You might enlarge his throat a little. He gags a lot, but he gets
the job done,” Tank replied and grinned.
“It will be a part of his new package. It comes standard. H'it
ain't no add-on,” Billy said and the men laughed. “Any extras you
might like, Slave?” Billy asked Tree. The poor man blushed a deep
red. “Never mind, that tells me all I need to know,” Billy said.
Many times in the bath, Billy watched Tree Griffin look longingly
at Roxanne, Zeus, Buck, and Erin Mascaro when they were morphed
into their female-genital state in the tubs; and lately, young
Wilbur seemed to have no compunction appearing with his genitals
morphed when he came down to the tubs on his husband's arm. On the
contrary, Wilbur held his head high as a member of a small, elite
group of slaves who were proud to be able to provide their master
with the sexual variety they offered. Tree Griffin deeply wanted
the full app for his master's pleasure, but he choked and was too
embarrassed to ask. Tank knew and nodded his approval for Billy to
give his mate what he so deeply wanted – the full-monty with white
sidewalls and additional sexual-morphing application.
* * * * * * *
After they finished with Tree and Tank, Oatie's men, who would be
gating with him to the Hightower family's place in England in the
wee hours of the morning, went to their rooms in the tower to
rest. Master Billy scheduled one more obligation on the ship
before he could let his hair down, retire to the tubs, and relax
with his friends and family. Balthazar and Billy Gog Groats
arranged a meeting with Billy and his immediate family of Captain
Nick; Boomer; the twins, Poly and Cass; Hank and Buck; and Archie
and Edith, to stand in audience before the two great Shedus. Also
invited were Randy Rutherford, Elmer Breedlove, Vox Humana, Oatie
Breedlove, and Jethro Quince. Oatie didn't want to miss what the
Shedus planned to tell them, and he postponed his and Jethro's
sleep period to find out.
Billy asked his Uncle Nate and his mate Tron Garrett if they would
see to their guests and take them to the tubs. Billy's
instructions were for them to stand with René in the shallow area
of the pool where he could stand, buoyed and supported by the warm
water, and for him to start taking his first steps since he was
confined to his wheelchair. René could feel his body was
completely healed, and he couldn't wait to learn how to use it
again. Billy promised he would return to the tub area as soon as
possible to join the rest of his family and guests.
Billy Gog Groats and Balthazar left the group in the dungeon
almost immediately after Tank Barger was enhanced. They went to
the stables area where the great Shedus were housed and tended
around the clock. There were three shifts of stable attendants and
grooms who worked their assigned hours taking care of, feeding,
and seeing to the great beasts needs and sometimes whims. Billy
was surprised when they walked into the adjoining compound to find
Madam Spartza and Beauford in the same area. In fact, they were
close to each other. Ideas and speculations began to run through
Billy's mind, but it was joined by a sense of ease and joy he
never felt around either of the great beasts before. They
absolutely radiated confidence and good health. They also seemed
quite comfortable with each other.
Madam Spartza was positively glowing like she was producing an
aura of sainthood to surround her. “Ah, Master Billy, Captain
Nick, Boomer, Bossman Randy, and the rest of the core of the
Daniels family, welcome to the stables and our home,” Beauford
hailed them, “Welcome, Gentlemen! Master Billy, thank you for
coming. We know you've been busy running your cowboy butt off
since your return from your remarkable visit to the old world, but
it doesn't appear to have done you any harm; however, we agreed
you and your aura look considerably more together and mature than
when you left. Furthermore, we are in agreement, you still have
the prettiest buttocks of any human we've encountered in
centuries,” he added, and Billy immediately popped a boner.
Everyone laughed at him. “I don't know why Madam Spartza and
Beauford does that to me, but I don't try to fight it. I can't
help it. I find them incredibly sexy, but I ain't ashamed of it.
As a matter of fact, as you can see, I'm quite proud of it,” Billy
said and laughed.
“We see it as a great compliment, Master Billy, and an indication
of your love and appreciation for us runs much deeper than only a
need for what we might be able to accomplish for you. We feel you
have fallen in love with us, and our love for you is boundless.
It's a great comfort, sir,” Madam Spartza said, “I knew from the
first time you looked upon the sum of me after Balthazar removed
my coverings and you grew erect, you were an exceptional young
human. I later related to Master Beauford, I once stood before a
great seer and he told me I would be alone for many years until a
handsome young human, a cowboy from Earth, who found me sexually
stimulating, would one day take me with him to live among his
people and to be with my future mate. It would be the beginning of
a new and wonderful era for us as a family. And so, the prophecy
has come to pass,” she said and smiled at Billy, “Until you came
along, I almost gave up hope. Thank you for befriending me and
accepting me under your protection, Master Billy. I will be
eternally grateful, Sire,” she added.
Billy didn't respond with words at first, he bowed deeply to both
beasts. “It is my honor and privilege to have you both with us
here on Earth. You're welcome to stay as long as you like. My home
is yours,” Billy said. He watched them closely and saw Madam
Sparaza nod to Beauford.
“Thank you men for coming this evening we have an announcement to
make no one but our grooms, Balthazar and Mr. Groats know about.
My beloved companion is pregnant with my bull calf,” Beauford let
it all hang-out without beating around the bush.
“Hoe-lee sheiit! Hear! Hear! Hallelujah, and pass them Hosanna
Cupcakes!” Randy exclaimed and everyone laughed.
“He-ar! Little Brother! While I might share your enthusiasm,
always remember to mind your manners in front of ladies, no matter
the species!” Billy scolded him.
“I'm awful sorry, ma'am. I'm just so excited about the possibility
of having another little brother,” Randy redeemed himself.
“We're as excited as you, Young Man. Your enthusiasm is welcome,”
Madam Spartza said.
“I'm thrilled for both of you. You know you have our love and
support, and I promise, you will continue to have. I can't help be
curious about the sacred Shedu protocol. You seemed to have
bypassed it,” Billy said.
“The, so called, Shedu protocol was an invention of mankind and
those who have used us over countless centuries. We never really
had much say about such things and went along with the nonsense no
matter how unnatural or distorted their functions in relation to
their applications. All the stupid protocols were to keep us away
from each other and for them to more easily manage us for their
benefit. We see it still going on in your rival political parties
and the reporting of news on your planet. Information is grossly
manipulated and spun to carry the muddy-water of false ideas for
their own selfish purposes, but rarely for the public in general.
After working day to day with each other on different projects on
the ranch, Beauford and I slowly broke down the barriers which
separated us and came to realize our ancestors were forced into
those situations by humanoids because of their needs and not ours.
“Our lives became as mere tools for their lives. We didn't live
with them and share in the wealth. We live for them and their
endless greed for consumption. We quite possibly are the last of
our kind, and we decided to begin making our own choices for our
future. We want a simple, more agrarian bucolic life-style where
we can feel free to breed and rebuild our kind. Here, we were
given a chance to workout our lives. We fell in love or lust for
one another. Either word would be correct, and we decided to throw
caution to the wind and live our lives as nature would have us,”
Madam Spartza finished strongly.
“Why have other Shedus not come to the same realization before you
and Beauford arrived at these conclusion? With almost limitless
powers at their disposal they could have broken away from the
nefarious purposes of humanoids to create their own worlds where
they could build their own societies,” Billy asked.
“That's where all the protocol comes in, Master Billy,” Beauford
said, “They micro-managed every tiny aspect of our lives to keep
us from realizing we have the power to do as we please. We were
never free to stand together and discuss our lives with each
other. We were like pieces on a chess board and never allowed more
than cursory contact with each other in a highly structured
ritualistic manner to keep us controlled. With many societies, it
grew into a religion. That's where the worship of Baal was
started. Baal was a powerful Shedu, but he became so subdivided he
lost his invincibility.
“Then I guess there won't be a wedding,” Billy said and looked
disappointed.
“Do your cows get married, Master Billy?” Beauford asked and
smiled.
“Good point, but your intelligence and powers can be measured as
light-years ahead of them on the evolutionary scale,” Billy
replied.
“Our coupling and our son will be our bond, sir,” Madame Spartza
said, “Other than our verbal contract with you and our promise to
become participating members of your family, we no longer have a
need for ceremonies and protocol. We hoped you would look upon the
shift as a winning situation for everyone. There will be no
log-jam of protocol when we need to help you. So far, you and
Captain Nick have been unblemished in your adherence to the
ins-and-outs of dealing with us, but more out of love and respect
than greed. All that's out of the way now. Just make an
appointment, tell us what you need, and it shall be done,” she
explained.
“In a way, it's somewhat of a relief. I was worried I might
eventually do something to offend one of you sooner or later,”
Billy said.
“It would have to be something really bad, Young Man, but we are
unconcerned. We just don't foresee that happening. You wouldn't
have gotten this far in your journey if you were the wrong kind of
leader. We particularly chose this weekend to tell you of our
progress because of the wonders which will occur as a result of
you becoming an icon on this planet. You will become like a great
spaceship orbiting a world several times to build up centrifugal
speed to sling-shot you out into a journey into the cosmos. Your
day has come, Master Billy. In a few short hours the dawn of a new
era of mankind will begin, and we couldn't be more proud of you,
my Son,” Beauford said.
Billy did something unprecedented. He slowly walked to the great
bovine/human chimeras and slowly placed his hand on Beauford's
side and then Madame Spartza. He hung his head and burst into
tears. Everyone, including the huge beasts were stunned. They were
moved to the core of their being. It was like the young cowboy was
unburdening his soul to the Shedus and and his family. No one said
a word. Nick moved behind Billy and placed his hand on his right
shoulder and Elmer placed his hand on his left shoulder. From
there the rest of Billy's family joined hands. Billy could feel
their energy flowing into and through him into the great Shedus as
he slowly got himself together.
“May the Ancients and every good force in the universe bless us in
this our hour of conjoining and show us the way,” Billy said
quietly.
“Hosanna!” exclaimed Nick and Elmer together.
“Hosanna, in the highest!” the rest of Billy's family, including
Madam Spartza and Beauford, echoed. They became as one in their
love and appreciation for one another. Their bond was sealed.
