A '''Boolean''' [[value]] is the simplest meaningful value that FiM++ can represent. Boolean values can only ever be one of two states, stored in memory as a single bit (either <TT>0</TT> or <TT>1</TT>). Since there are only two possible values for a Boolean, it is represented by [[literal]] [[phrases]]. Boolean values are the only ones that can be used with the [[Boolean Operators]] [[and|{{code|operator|and}}]], [[or|{{code|operator|or}}]], [[exclusive or|{{code|operator|either}}...{{code|operator|or}}]], and [[not|{{code|operator|not}}]].
