June is busting out all over!
Yup, its a return to unsettled weather for a lot of us - warm and damp weather seems to prevail at this time of year. On a personal front my hayfever has been acting up so i'm feeling a bit under the weather.
In case you've missed it I've released a new tome, Jamie & The Peach, the first volume includes the first six chapters available here plus a further 4 previously unreleased chapters. Each chapter is fronted by Mizutamari art work and at just £6.99 for the printed book I reckon its a bargain!
Next up, some fan fiction.
After a short break Sharp is back with more Drew and the Half term Break - we are up to part 43 now!
This week you can also read Gaby 7.26 / 266 so that should keep you quiet for a few minutes!
Wiedersehn!
4th June 2010
Peaches in print!
Well i've been promising something new and finally here it is, a new book, the first in a planned series of Jamie And The Peach! You can get this first instalment in book form for a measley £6.99 and as a download for just £3.99 so if you've been wondering what happens after chapter 6 you can now find out.
Each chapter is prefaced by some fantastic Mizutarami art (in grey tone in the printed version to keep the cost down!) so if you fancy some summer reading in a Manga stylee or just enjoy a good read hurry along to Scaramouch to order yours today!

Is it really summer?
The weather has certainly been a bit up and down this week - I guess we can blame the Bank Holiday for that! The forecast is looking a bit better so fingers crossed!
You can read the conclusion to Drews hectic Sunday by clicking here!

Another Century
For those of you interested in these things I completed the Sheffield 100 in a little over 6 1/2 hours including all the stops. It would have been quicker but the last couple of hours were ridden in temperatures up in the mid 30's and it was as much a case of getting to the finish as doing it at any speed. I got my ickle certificate and gong to add to my others, I used to fear 100 miles but now whilst still a challenge its certainly not so daunting. Two days later and the temperature has plummeted and rain is expected overnight, maybe my sun burn from Sunday will get a chance to ease!
For those of you who may be interested Scaramouch have added a couple of nice picture books to their range.
Both are under a tenner with the full colour one running to 48 pages, the black and white to 90 pages. The subject matter is a little off the wall but that makes them quite appealing - click on the images to go take a closer look!
After the sales pitch I suppose you want something to read. First you can read more of Stan's Grottoes fanfic here. Then because i know you like reading my own scribbles you can get the next bit of Dress Up by clicking here. Hopefully over the next few weeks i'll get some more scribbling done so watch this space for news.

Summer?
The weather has finally warmed up a bit hereabouts which is at least something to cheer about! two hours training around the local mountains was almost pleasant and a nice warm up for Sundays 100 miler.
Well I suppose you want something to read, this weeks Gaby is a little short but I'm sure you'll like it, click here.
12th May 2010
Stupid Maddy!
Yup, her Stupidness has done it again, this time by entering the Sheffield 100 mile sportive a week on Sunday! Moreover i've entered the 'fast' event where i need an average speed of @20kph/17mph to complete the distance in the 6 hours allowed. Stupid Maddy! Anyhow, its on behalf of the British Heart Foundation so if you fancy sponsoring my effort drop me a mail at the usual address and i'll let you know how to do so.
I've been out and about the last couple of weeks so i thought you'd like to see where i've been. The Sunday after I returned from Germany we visited the famous sea cliffs at Bempton on the Yorkshire coast to see the nesting seabirds.
The following week we headed to the opposite coast and visited Llandudno in North Wales. There was a lot going on, the annual Victorian Fair as well as the Transport Extravaganza not to forget the usual attractions!
Then last Wednesday we headed up into the Yorkshire Dales for a walk around Studley Royal and Fountains Abbey.
Click on the thumbs for bigger images.
Of course you can read new Gaby by clicking here.
5th May 2010
May Day, May Day!
Yes we are in month 5 already and I've still not got my internet reconnected. Nothing I can do about the former but hopefully the latter will be fixed this week.
On the writing front I'm suffering not so much from writers block but rather from lethargy! I have started more Jamie but I really need to get to grips with some Nena and Gaby but I must admit that there seems little interest out there in reader land for me to continue with either, maybe they have run their course?
Anyhow here is the next Gaby chapter, 7.21 / 621.
28th April 2010
A Bit of a Dust Up!
Rather than bore everyone with the detail I've made a seperate page detailing my Spreewald trip - suffice to say i got home only two days late!
In other news there is a limited availability offer from Lulu which offers a nice discount on printed books so why not take advantage today. Use coupon code FREEMAILUK305 at checkout and receive £2.99 towards your final shipping cost. This amount is the
Gaby 7.20/260 is, i'm afraid the only reading matter this week. And special thanks should go to Angharad for plugging Gaby in recent episodes of her 'Bike' saga, cheers Ang!
14th April 2010
Spreewald or bust!
Well its the briefest of updates this week, by the time most of you read this i'll be at least on my way to Germany if not already there! I might not be as fit as i'd like or as cash rich but I've got an interesting and packed week ahead of me nevertheless. I'll be taking a few pics of course and i'm taking a small friend along too! Of course if I get bored I can always do a bit of writing as the trusty lap top is packed too so who knows what will happen.
After last week the reading is a little thin in the form of Gaby 7.19/259 which I you'll have to make last until my return.
7th April 2010
Eastered
The weather may have improved but my health has taken a downturn, in fact I think the two are connected I just hope I recover for next week and my trip to Germany. I hope to get another update in before I depart but it might be a bit longer gap to the next.
This week is a bonus week, Angharad has supplied an excellent addition to Whatever Next - well worth the wait! Personally I got into the flow so Jamie and the Peach sees a new chapter too. Meanwhile for those ardent Gabfans a second dose this week takes the form of Gaby 7.18/258 which I hope you enjoy.
31st March 2010
Return of the White Stuff!
A week to forget for sure. First Ginny threw me with a mechanical breakage which has added to my collection of lumps, bumps and scars and on top of that the weather has been disgusting with snow once again forecast so my training has been less than I would've hoped too. On the positive side its Easter so happy Easter to any of you Christians out there, me i'm only in it for the chocolate!
On the writing front I managed to complete another Jamie chapter, click here to read part 5. Gaby 7.17/257 is the other bit of reading I've got for you this week so dance along and let me know what you think.
24th March 2010
April Showers
What a change, last week was showing signs of better weather but now the rain has come and looks set to stay until Easter!
This week you get Gaby 7.16/256 from me and Stan has revised his last offering which you can read here.
19th March 2010
Spring has Sprung
The sun is shining and the temperature has reached double figures - it must be Spring! my training schedule currently means that i don't have a lot of time for this stuff so updates might be a little erratic over the next month but i'll aim to do a weekly update even if its on different days to usual!
Jamie and the Peach gets a new chapter again ythis week but don't expect weekly postings in future! Gaby of course will get a weekly update and this week its chapter 7.15/255. I was hoping to have some fanfiction this week but you'll have to wait until next time.
10th March 2010
Marching On
The weather here has been pretty settled for a few days, mostly dry but temperatures still on the low side. It does mean the Spreewald training is running apace and is pretty much on track.
This weeks written offerings run to a further Gaby chapter, thats 7.14/254 and part three of Jamie and the Peach. Next week will see a more mixed bag.
For today though,
3rd March 2010
Mad Hare
Well we left February behind with more snow falls and March has started brighter if not warmer hereabouts, in fact last nights training was curtailed due to the danger of ice on one particularly difficult stretch of road, I'd already ended up on ice once and above 250m there was still snow about! That said, training for the Spreewald trip is going pretty much to plan, everything is booked and i'm looking forward to the trip.
My summer holiday is taking shape nicely, the flights are booked and the route set, only accomodation stops need organising. This year a very much revitalised Foxy will be taking myself across the German Alpine Road from Bodensee to Bertchesgaden then back across Austria via no less than 5 passes over 2000m and 2 over 2500m! along with a short visit to Italy, over an 18 day period. It's Nena's turn to travel this year and she's already buying a new wardrobe to take! There will be everything from Archaeological reconstructions to salt mines included in what promises to be a spectacular trip.
So that's my news however I know you've really come to get some reading matter! This week you get a new chapter in Stan's Warsop fanfic. You can then follow that up by my offering this week chapter 7.13/253, Not Out in which the bike team get to ride the Spreewald Marathon!
24th February 2010
Drew's Birthday
The big news this week is of course the birthday of your favourite cycle racing cross dresser. Another year older and the story goes on! The weather continues to influence things hereabouts, fresh snow last night caused the training to be curtailed and the last session was blighted by white stuff too. Theres more forecast too.
But less of my woes, you want stories and this week you get another double dose from me, part 2 of Jamie and the Peach and then Gaby 7.12/252, A Riding Spree.
17th February 2010
On Track
Whilst it's been cold here, there's several degrees of frost outside right now, i've been able to complete a full training programme this week - that's over 4 hours of cold, dark tarmac slogging!
I mentioned my new series last week well it get posted here today, go here for a read. Part 2 is a work in progress and should be ready next week so there's something to look forward to! Meanwhile the Gabfest continues with part 7.11/251, Backmädchen so that'll keep you occupied for a couple of minutes! No new fanfiction this week as my supplies have dried out - hint, hint.
10th February 2010
Snow Again - Again!
The training has been going quite well this week despite the snow, ice and fog that has been making things interesting hereabouts! Not too much new this week, another Gaby chapter - the 250th in the series goes live here and theres another bit of Sharp's story here. The sharp amongst you might have picked up on a new tale on Big Closet from yours truly, Jamie and the Peach, based loosely on the Yubisaki Milk Tea. It will land here next time but click above to have a first read.
3rd February 2010
Snow Again
Well that indicator of winter put the kybosh on Tuesdays training ride, reducing it to about 45 minutes rather than 90 - it would have been daft to try for more with the snow settling around me.
The big news today is that my new German Language site, maddybell.de is now up and running. Whilst I'll be the first to admit it needs a lot of work, Rome wasn't built in a day and it will be an ongoing process of improvement to both the site and the translations! For now you can access the 'Puppen Shop', Gaby pages and the first complete story there, Time for a Change. I won't be doing a seperate news page but rather I will include anything of note here on the regular site and also at BC and the Gaby forums.
Well that was the first bit of news, the other is that the 2010 Gabycon - yes there will be one has not only a change of date but also of location. The new location will be Dorset, location of Angharad's Fanfic series, and subject to confirmation will take place in mid September @ the weekend of 17-19th September. More details and confirmation of venue and dates will be posted as soon as possible, anyone interested in attending should contact me asap to get onto the mailing list for news.
So after all that excitement you'll no doubt want something to read so here is chapter 41 of Half Term Break after which you can read Gaby Dress Up part 7.09, Crit Queen.
27th January 2010
What Thaw?
Finally I've started my training scheme - elongated rides home from work an extra 5km last night, 20km tomorrow then I add an extra day next week. I seem to have maintained a reasonable fitness I just need to step up the distance and get down the scales before the next wave of white stuff arrives!
Due to a busier than expected week I haven't managed to do as much as I'd hoped so today's update is restricted once more to just a little reading matter, however I do hope to post an update on Sunday so make a note to drop in on the 31st! So on to today - we'll start with fan fiction and the next bit of Sharps Half Term Break Saga which reaches chapter 40. Next up we get another look across the Atlantic to see what has been happening in Stan's Grottoes world with chapter 12.
Lastly today, you thought I'd forgotten I know, its the next Gaby Dress Up, this week part 7.08, Karneval.
20th January 2010
Coughs and Sneezes
Well the white stuff has just about all gone - at least for now, replaced by cold and damp - in other words typical January weather! The bad news is that I've now got a bit of a cold developing so I still can't get out!
There is at least more for you to read, Half Term Break reaches chapter 39 and Gaby Dress Up reaches part 7.07, Deflation .
Due to a bit of site piracy the Gabyzone is, at least temporarily being ramped down. The chatroom continues and there is a new forum, Gabychat here. Please use it for what its intended for, posting of stories is expressly forbidden and I will be clamping down hard on anyone posting excessively - that spoils things for everyone. I look forward to seeing you all there.
Hopefully next week there will be a bit more going on so make a date!
13th January 2010
Still Snow Season!
We might not have had the depth that a lot of you have had but the white stuff is hanging on tenaciously and more is forecast for Schloss Maddy! I took a walk on Sunday, the canal was slightly frozen over allowing for some interesting pics.
On the reading front Sharp's Half Term Break reaches chapter 38 and my own little saga reaches part 7.06, Frankfurter. More exciting stuff next week but for now,
6th January 2010
Snow Season
Well I guess most of you in the northern hemisphere are living with various quantities of the white stuff this week, here it's only a few inches deep but making the normally bleak winter landscape appear so much nicer and picturesque!
So okay you want to cut straight to the reading I guess so here goes
Firstly the fanfics
Sharp's Half Term Break chapter 37
Angharad's Whatever Next chapter 25
Then a couple of bits from me
So This Is Christmas Which gained third place in the BC Xmas competition
and of course chapter 5 of Dress Up, the layest Gaby book.
1st January 2010
Happy New Year
As a New Year treat I've posted the next chapter of Gaby 7.4, Frilly Schlüpfer. Over on BC you can read a new little Gaby interlude, 'And Next Tonight', a sort of follow up to Roni's Party. Things return to normal next week so make a date to pop back on Wednesday
