That won't be the case with Marlene. The ending will be a tragedy. I'm not sure exactly what so I'm looking for ideas from you, the readers. 12-02-2009 - The draft of Chapter Five is almost complete. There weren't too many suggestions from readers so... no complaints please! This chapter is much longer than I originally intended. It's already 130 pages, and I haven't finished yet. Look for it within the next couple of weeks. It depends on how busy I get during the holidays.
12-03-2009 - Several readers showed some concern about Marlene's age especially considering what she's going through, and I have to agree. This story took a direction that calls for a younger woman. The nice thing about fiction is that you can always make changes. Marlene is now forty (I wish I could be forty again lol) which makes her tale a little more believable.
