Hey guys!

Remember when last week I said that I'll take a few days off, so there won't be a new Tree of Life page this week, but everything else will go as always? Well looks like I was wrong... Because I'm having a pretty serious migraine for like four days straight. My stomach is spinning, and both my head and my eyes hurt like hell. I thought I'll get better for today, but as it turned out I just can't get rid of this migraine. So much for a few days off...

So I'm really sorry, but I don't think I can make the page in this state. I'm getting better now, but I think I'll need one or two more days of "sick-leave" to properly get back on my feet. So we decided to just delay this comic too instead of making a huge mess from the now standard release days.

I swear to god when I'll get better you'll get some cool new pages, but I have to ask for your patience and understanding again. I'll be back with the next Tree of Life page this week.

So this delay isn't anything sudden or unexpected. I'll be taking a few days off this week to recharge a bit. And it would help a lot if wouldn't have to worry about work, and with delaying the next Tree of Life page to next week will give me plenty of time to relax :) But don't worry, only the Tree of Life page will be missing this week, everything else will go as usual; you'll still get some exclusive sketches, and the monthly sketch vote will start this week too :)

Christopher's face on the last panel, now that's a face of regret. And by the way, Nora is like the most feminine courtesan in the world as you can see. Oh, and how do you show in a comic that a character is running? You just write "run run run" in the panel of course! :D

"Ensafir Maintenance"

Parker Trotter wanted to see and ensafir doing some repair or maintenance on a spaceship or something, and this was what I came up with :) I know it's a simple picture, yet I still really like it somehow. Maybe because of her clothes? I think it turned out very simple and cool :)

After playing through the game, I couldn't leave this suggestion undone :D I really loved Helltaker, its musics, its graphics, and to be honest I found this meme very entertaining :D

"Krystal"

I knew about Krystal for a long time, and I always loved her design, but somehow I never got to actually draw her. So this suggestion was a great opportunity :) As far as I know, she has two kinds of clothes, but I wanted to go with the tribal one. It fited well with the plants and my mood :D

I know the phasing really slows down now, but I think this is the best way to show their dialogs, and to give Luna's words some weight. I usually hate drawing the same poses over and over again, but for scenes like this, I don't even mind that :D And I tried to smartly "save" on the background, so it would fit to the scene better :)

A lot of you wanted to see Luna naked, and I'll be honest, you weren't the only ones. I wanted to draw a pinup of her for a very long time now. In fact, I'm sure you could dig up a few old pictures about Luna without clothes, because before the Tree of Life comic started, and I was still just working out the characters, I loved drawing her naked. But I could only finalized her design, clothes and personality before the start of the comic. Ever since then, I wanted to make a pinup with her, one that would fit to her gentle, calm, patient and motherly personality. I couldn't just draw her with legs wide open. I needed something that would show her for who she really is. And I think I could just do that with this picture :)
I wanted to make a picture that's calm and serene, one that would show Luna both as a goddess and as a simple mortal the same time. And I couldn't think of a better place than a moonlit lake at night. Her colors just scream for a starry sky setting :) And I always love highlighting the fact that she has a beautiful blue glow around her.
And naturally I had to give her some "undergrowth" to match her fluffy neck-shroud :D And I think her literal bush really fits her "goddess of life and nature" role too :)

Anyway, I hope you like her :) And I hope I can come up with more pinups worthy to her greatness in the future ;)

I had a pretty hard time figuring out how to draw a shop (packed full with all kinds of stuffs) the simplest way. But at the end a lot of silhouettes worked out just fine :D

I saw a lot of you took a notice on the anteater/horse hybrids I made in the previous few Tree of Life pages. I love mixing animals together, and Tree of Life will give me a lot of opportunity for that :) So when I needed a horse-like creature to pull Luna's little wagon, I was wondering what kind of animal would look cool mixed with horses. Then I realized that I don't see many anteaters drawn in general. Anteaters have long snouts like horses, so they seemed fitting :D And to be honest, I think this little hybrid fantasy creature turned out really cute :)

But when it came to their name... oh boy... That was a lot harder than coming up with their design... (I saw quite a few great ideas from you guys in the comments, but I still wanted to come up with my own) So I wanted to mix "anteater" and "horse" together, but with no luck. Then I tried to find some synonyms, and mix those together, but still couldn't find a name that would have a nice ring to it. Then came the idea, that they look pretty damn strong, and they have very wide shoulders, just like bulls and oxen. So that's when they turned from horses to oxes, because "anterox" has a really nice fantasy ring to it :D

Anyway, I hope you like them :) Maybe I should make a similar sheet about my bird-fishes, and raptor-chickens too :D

And here it is, this month's vote winner :)

I'm sure there is no doubt that this was the fastest vote winner I've ever made. It only won the vote like three days ago, and it's already done! So I'm pretty proud of myself :D And this was a pretty simple and straightforward picture as well. No backgrounds, no complicated pose or camera angle. Just Gloria, and her beautiful rear :D I saw no point working on this for two days. While I could have make a more detailed background or scene, I don't think it would add anything to the picture. Because this picture should be only about Gloria, and her new jewelry ;) I haven't drawn such a lusty picture for a while, so it was really cool going back to something hot and naughty :D

Anyway, I hope you like it :)

And here's a fun fact: I colored Gloria's plug as I did her necklace in the Water God comic ;)

I could finish this page in record time, because this one was a pretty easy page :) I hope I can get lucky like this in the future again :D

It was really fun finishing this picture, because it looks similar to a previous one, but it's a lot more playful :) And it's really interesting seeing the difference between the two pictures, both in quality, and in other aspects as well. Like what was I concentrating more on.

And here it is, the very first page of the new erotic comic :) No WIP page today, but we'll try to fix that tomorrow.

And I'm more than absolutely positively sure I worked on this page a lot more than I actually should have... Now that it's finished, and I can see it in its whole state, I think there are a lot of unnecessary details that could have been done better with silhouettes or something... But I guess this page was a good lesson... ^^; I think I've only drawn detailed forests so far, but never cities.

So yesterday I slept like crap, felt like crap, and was in a really bad mood in general... I thought maybe I could make myself feel better if I draw something cute or wholesome. But what? Then I realized I haven't drawn Evie with a snails for a long time. So I did. And I immediately started to feel better. So Evie was almost like a medicine :)

I wanted to give her some lighter summer clothes, but I still wanted to draw a big fluffy pullover on her. So I simply mixed the two together, and it's like autumn now or something :D There is not much else behind this picture, but Evie now has a snail in a little cute terrarium at home. And the snail is called Lightning. It's canon now. Seriously.

And here it is guys, even though after some delay, but our next erotic comic has officially started! It's so exciting! :D You could ask: What's this disgusting yet fabulous looking goo on the cover with the unicorn, and what does it have to do with the shark fellow and the hyena lady? Well, I'll leave that to your imagination for now ;)

By the way, making this sparkly goo REALLY gave up the lesson for me... Like, at the very beginning I just knew I need to leave more time for the goo alone, so I can figure out how to do the sparkling effect, and how to make it shiny. But at the end, I think it turned out EXACTLY as I wanted, so I'm really, REALLY proud of the goo :3 And this one might be the very first title, that kinda has a logo too? :D

"Red Carpet"

ATTENTION! If this sketch wins the vote, it will take 2 months instead of 1 to complete it!

So Tavlhko's suggestion was really interesting, it was about the couples of Prophecy and Wishes on the red carpet. Like they are going to the premier of their movies. I really loved the idea, and as I was drawing it, I felt like making it bigger, adding more characters to build up a little scene :) And it kinda turned into a big, movie premier, where the actors give interviews and such :D I really like how it turned out :)

And by the way, this would be the very first sketch since the Hall of Ancients that would take 2 month to complete. So many characters, and so many details... But I didn't want to hold back with this one! :D

"Tree of Chaos"

So ObscureCultist suggested and evil version of Luna, and man, I loved the idea! :D Changing the colorful leaves to thorns and meat eating plants was my first idea to her design. And to be honest, she would make a cool Queen of Chaos like this :D

As you can see, Tristan does his best (and his best is still the worst) to support this little heist :D And I'm not sure, but I'm starting to feel like Luna's neck has a dynamic length that changes every time I draw her... Maybe she has a neck of a seal XD

"Lapdance of Death"

So Molly came with a suggestion, or rather a trivia :D I'm going to copy it here, because it's really interesting: " The Asian Giant Hornet is very dangerous to honeybees, but the bees have a secret weapon. They glom-on to the larger hornet tightly and vigorously wiggle against them, basically cuddling them to death. "

And Molly wanted to see this a scene like this with Alma, lap-dancing a wasp assassin to death :D

And here she is, the second character of the new erotic comic! :D

We wanted to make a cool hyena character for quite some time now, but we just couldn't find the right design and story for it. Until this story came across, of course :D So meet Nora, the coolest hyena gal far and wide! :D And now that I think of it, she isn't just our first hyena character, she might be the very first hyena I've ever properly drawn! It kinda makes me sad how little love these creatures got from me until now… But this changes now! :D

To be honest, Nora's design didn't change much since the first time she was planned. We wanted to make a type of girl we haven't made before. From the first moment we knew we want a bit tousled, mischievous, cheerful, extremely energetic (almost hyperactive) gal, with an unquestionably engaging and glamorous smile and personality :D You could say the glass is always half full for her ;)

And because she loves smiling, the only logical decision was to give her ABSOLUTELY HUGE AND RAZOR SHARP teeth! :D We really wanted to give her something that would shake up her design a bit, and a giant smile full of deadly teeth was definitely the right choice :D But we didn't want her smile to turn into a threatening (or edgy, or evil) grin, but how should we do that? Just like with Christopher, with her eyes. So we gave her big, happy, squinting eyes :) We though all of this and her personality would make her stand out from our previous characters.

I hope Nora's smile could break (or chomp) the ice on your hearts, and please look forward to the cover page and title reveal on next Monday!

"Feathery Family"

So Frosty wanted to see the grown up Tristan hugging his "family" and I just loved the idea! :D Oh, and this gave me an opportunity to draw a rooster too! As you can see, they are even bigger, and has even bigger claws than the hens. The true feathered raptors :D I can imagine jumping on a pile of seeds like a raptor XD

I know that from a kick like that, Tristan's jaw should have been dislocated or something, but I really didn't see the point for that in this little scene.

What's important that Luna can heal him. And finally Luna could show her motherly side again, scolding little Tristan for not taking care of himself better. And I think this is the first time I could draw Luna healing any kind of injury. And "smaller" wounds like this only takes a second for her :)

And it feels so good that more and more characters are meeting each other. This one is a bit different though, because this one happens suddenly and by chance, the characters had nothing to do with each other. Unexpected encounters are the most exciting, because they are driven by fate :)

And here he is, the first character of the new erotic comic! :D It's always so exciting to introduce new characters, especially when they are so different from anything we did in the past :) So meet Christopher Mathias Krieger von Weltmeer! As you can see, Christopher lived true countless battles, and he has fought many man and beast alike. I know he doesn't look like a cheerful guy, but who knows, maybe he can surprise us ;)

We were thinking a lot if we should add a fin to his back or neck, but at the end we thought it would be too much in the way for some movement and clothes. But at some point I had this idea that he already has a lot of scar, so maybe someone could have cut his fin off in the past! And ta-da, the fin question was easily solved! :D

At first glance Christopher can look like a brute, but that's not all he is. So how to show that? I didn't want to give him bigger and more colorful eyes, because I think that would ruin his face and his overall "hardened wanderer" look. Then how to make him less threatening? Give him big, black puppy eyes of course! :D You just can't stay mad at eyes like those :3

And I'm sure you already noticed the "size difference" silhouettes at the bottom right of the picture. Consider it as a little teaser for the next character ;)

Everyone's favorite characters in each other's skin :D

It was really interesting making a "species swap" because doing this never occurred to me before. But I have to say, it's a really neat idea! I already like gender swapping characters, because it's always a cool chalange to turn them into something differen, yet trying to keep all of their main characteristics. This is something similar, so I really like it :D maybe I should do more pictures like this in the future :)

I think it's safe to say that this page was kind of a surprise for you guys. There was no sketch last week, and I only streamed half of it. But Maybe that's good, because it's kind of a "shocker" page. Because on this page it get completely clear what kind of "friends" Tristan has, and that how much trouble you can cause with a single move...

Oh, by the way, I wanted to give some kind of "voice" for the anteater horses, but I just couldn't come up with anything X)

There's a cool brush in Clip Studio Paint called “Oil Paint Flat Brush” and I had a good practice idea for it. Clouds :) So this picture was made so I could practice with that brush. And I love going back time to time and draw some of my less known characters. Anyway, clouds can be really fascinating! :D

In case if it's not visible at first, that guy has prosthetic wings, but they're colored to match his skin. It's kind of a psychological thing, and the character's choice. His name is Larsel, and he's an old character of mine too. He's a dragon who lost his wings. I'm still trying to figure out his design. Going back to characters after years and realize they're still cool, and they only need a few tweaking is a good feeling :)

We are happy to announce that the next erotic comic will start soon!

Just like always, before the actual comic starts, you'll get the reference sheets for both characters. We love doing this, because it's always a good these, and of course they help a lot in the actual comic making process later :D

So here's the schedule:

August 31. - Reference sheet for one of the characters.
September 7. - Reference sheet for the other character.
September 14. - The cover page for the comic, and the reveal of the title.

So mark these dates in your calendar, because we are INCREDIBLY excited for this comic! :D This one will be a brand new story, with brand new characters. And we think we could make both the story and the characters very unique this time. We might even risk saying that this one will be our most unique comic so far :) But seriously, we can't wait to show the new characters for you! :D

Just like always, we can't really tell exactly how long this comic will be (like how many pages), but we think this one will be a pretty long one. Maybe like Prophecy, or even longer.

"Loving Her Rough"

So Valorel wanted to see some rougher love, but I could pick who would get that rough love :D I thought this would fit to Alex and Gloria, and this is what I came up with :)

"The Blackest Lantern"

So ObscureCultist suggested a few lantern ideas, but I wanted to make Rah'Jan for such a long time, and this was a perfect opportunity :D Of course there is no other choice but to give him the role of a black lantern, the role of death :) I saw this black lantern god thing called Nekron, and I loved that his lantern was merged together with his scythe, and I really wanted to make something similar :)

Hey guys! Just a little update about the next Tree of Life page.

When I started drawing the third prologue chapter, I realized maybe I'll need a little more direction about the character's designs if I have draw them often. Something like a small character sheet or reference, so to say.

Tristan (the monkey kid) looks a bit different then his adult self, so I thought drawing him down once like this should be a good idea.

I came up with the imp team designs on the fly, so I tried to keep them easy.

"Ensafir Evie"

So Wohoo wanted to see Evie drawn as my alien race, an ensafir. First I wasn't even considering making this sketch, because I was sure I couldn't give her look back as an ensafir. But somehow the thought just kept pestering me in the back of my mind. So I gave it a shot, and I think I could make her very recognizable. So at the end, I'm really happy how this one turned out :)

"Give Me Petts"

So Frosty suggested a picture, where the Godtamer's creature from the Hollow Knight game is trying to get some petts from his master. There are still a lot of characters I still haven't drawn from the game, and it's always fun to experiment with them :)

So as you can see, Tristan has an absolutely fantastic sense of time, because he knows EXACTLY how much time passed while he was asleep. I wish my sense of time was at least half as good :(

"Cyber Luna"

The suggestion was pretty simple: Arbrecent wanted to see Luna as a cyborg/alien. I really loved the idea, and I love drawing cyborgs and aliens anyway :D And it's always a joy to draw Luna with her vivid blue colors ;)

"Demon Tears Coffee"

Rah'Jan showing off his fantastic actor skills to the fullest :D

Another comic has reached the end, and the characters reached a milestone in their life as well :) Of course this comic means a milestone for us too, with even more experience. Experience gathering is never over, there is always something that can be improved. That's how we feel with every comic project. Our aspiration is always present, and we give in everything we can!

While we planned Wishes 2 to be just a short, simple little comic that would only show the first few steps in Shani and Darnell's new life together, it doesn't mean there weren't any challenges to undertake. In particular we tried to improve some things about the romantic scenes, and adding as many poses we just can. Maybe this way the comic turned out a little bite more „porn” like, showing and concentrating a lot more on the genitals instead of the romantic aspect. We were hoping that this doesn't brakes the romantic balance and vibe completely, but we are still not sure if it does. But we really wanted to show how they love each other more than anything, in any and every way possible.

Anyway, now that this comic ended, you could ask: „But what's next?” Well, we are so glad you asked :) The full script and dialogue for the next comic are already finished. It will be a brand new story with brand new characters you've never seen before. We can't wait to start it, because we are really trying a lot of new things with the characters, both in design and personality wise. I might even risk saying that they could be our most unique characters so far ;) And this next one will be a pretty long comic, just like Prophecy. We have a lot of cool things to show :)

But before the new comic starts, there are two things that has to be done. Okay, three, actually. One is to get some rest, because boy, I could use some :D The next is to go through the script again, iron out any errors, and fine tune the dialogs. And the third is to finalize these two new character's designs, because they are not 100% ready to be shown to you yet. But we can already tell we have serious plans with these characters' story :)

So there will be a little break until the next comic. We still have to work out the exact dates, but as soon as we had, you'll be the first ones to know ;)

And until that, we'd love to hear you opinions about Wishes 2 :) That's all for now, and stay tuned for more updates in the near future! ;)

And here it is guys, the very last page for Wishes 2 :) I know there was a dog on the roof too, but let's just say he got mad and left because he had to do work with these two imbeciles :D

Anyway, another comic came to an end. I know the story for this one wasn't too much, but we really wanted to make a comic about their very first steps on the way to their new life. And we planned this as a very short and simple comic. This time we wanted something a bit more simple than Prophecy was.

But don't be sad if you think you'll miss them, because Shani and Darnell will return ;)

Once I had a sudden idea of a snail that is literally a moving hotel, and then one idea followed the other. I very rarely see any art of snails anywhere, and I wanted to change that a little bit. I think snails have so much hidden potentials XD They can be pets, warriors, hotels, even soap dispenser! To tell truth, we have a plastic snail shaped soap dispenser at home, and you have to push his shell to get soap XD I frickin love it, and it was a good inspiration :D

Snails with legs looks so silly, so I wanted to keep the idea too :)

I made these sketches on stream a long time ago. I have a bad habit to keep my arts to myself because, I always feel I need to finish them, or in case if I'll have more ideas I'll could add more things to them. But in the end they won't get posted, which isn't cool… I wanted to change that too. Hope you like them :)

To tell the truth, I really enjoyed working on Jade. Not just because it was a LOT more simple than the previous one, the Hall of Ancients (and this one has no background either), but because I could work with a body type I usually don't work with. So finishing this one was more fun than work :)

I did this for no particular reason, it was just a random idea that struck me. And I wanted to draw it as soon as possible, so the idea wouldn't be lost :D Thus this little “poster” sketch was created. You can see all the main characters of my personal comic Tree of Life on this picture. The last one with the one eye is kind of a mysterious one. You can consider it a little teaser about the character, although we won’t meet them at the beginning of the comic. But this is not the first time I drew a character like this, so those who are following me for years might remember a very similar race I came up with a long time ago ;)

"Shen and Zaphira Species Swap"

So Frosty suggested to swap Shen's and Zaphirar's species, and I really liked the idea. To be honest, I can't believe that after gender swapping I never thought to species swap them as well :D So here's Shen as a tall and thin cobra, and Zaphira as a cute chubby fennec :) But to tell the truth, it turned out that species swapping is a lot harder than gender swapping... XP

And here it is guys, the finished vote winner! It took me like twice the time as a regular vote winner, but I'll be honest, I'm really happy with the final version :) To be honest, I still see a lot of things that could use some improvement, but I think that's the curse of huge pictures like these; you could work on them until the end of the world, and you'll still could find a lot of things to add or improve. But again, I'm really proud of :) I loved working on all the leaves, and colors, and just coming up with all the small details.

But to be honest, it was really cool to make such a huge and detailed picture again. And to be honest, I wouldn't mind making more like this in the future... But not in one month, it's clear I just can't finish a picture like this in one month AND keep up with the comics too. But if I had two months for a huge picture like this, that would be awesome! But you tell me if you like the idea.

Would you like to see more huge pictures like this guys? Would you guys be willing to give up two vote winner for the sake of one huge one? Not regularly, of course, just time to time.

So Lashout really liked how I drew Shani, and said it would be cool to see Shira from the Ice Age movies in my style. I liked the idea too, because I think Shira is a nice looking character, and I always liked her clean design :) I was thinking to give her some hair, but I wanted to make a fanart where the character is easily recognizable, and I think she looks a lot more like her original self without hair.

"A Small Coffee Break"

The suggestion was: Evie having a coffee bath with Flash on her head. How can you not love the idea? :D

I've been brainstorming about a lovely bird-folk race in medieval setting and clothing style. I wanted to make them stereotypical here and there, but actually I was only drawing what I could just think of, or what looked fun. For example, a rooster with an axe looked fun for me X) Or a flower lady toucan who could maybe have some difficulties picking flowers because of her large beak… but maybe if she turned her head it could work. I didn't think this through, but had my fun with her design XD The rest of the birdies are just like that too. I wanted to find some medieval tropes, and pair them with birds I felt would suit those tropes the best. You guys have no idea how much fun I had drawing these cute birdies :) Hope you like them!

I was sitting on this picture for such a long time, it makes me so happy that I finally upload it. It was a little sketch some time ago, but because Alma has a lot less lewd images than she should have, so I just had to finish this one :D There are many more little sketches I'd like to finish, slowly but steady. So this picture came pretty randomly. I just wanted to draw a cute, chubby girl in a sexy nightgown. And I thought I try out a bee design that's a bit different from Alma's. The magic is just a random bonus thrown into the mix :D To be honest, I really like how she turned out :)

So as it turned out, my migraine from yesterday couldn't move into another person's head over the night, and I don't think I could make a proper page in this state. I don't want to push the next page until everything will be tangled up, and delayed at the end, so I thought the best would be just not to make a page this week, and if I can get my head together, I'll try to work on the Hall of Ancients I couldn't finish last month. Let the drama commence! :D

As promised, here's the first page of this three page comic I made for you guys ;)

So I'm sure our veteran supporters already know that we love messing around with our characters in various ways (especially in the monthly Q&As), and one of these ways is putting them into a modern, every day setting. We are doing this for such a long time now, that we wanted to come up with something that could hold these little stories together. And that became Crossover County :)

So what is exactly Crossover County? This will be a new "series" so to say. These stories won't come regularly, just randomly, as we have time to make them. Crossover County will be the title that will hold together every silly and stupid little story where we put ALL of our characters into a modern city settings.

So look forward to the next two pages in the next two days, and I hope you'll like this little story ;)

"Hall of Ancients"

So both DarkMindMike and ObscureCultist asked for a Hall of Ancents wallpaper. I absolutely loved the idea, because it was very hard to design the Hall, and I was really proud of it. So I just HAD to make this sketch. But I'll be honest, I'm still not too good with building sand interior backgrounds, so I think this was a much bigger task to undertake than I expected. So I know the prespective isn't perfect, and some things are a bit off, but I'm still happy with it. So I know it's far from perfect, but I have to keep making pictures like this if I want to get better :)

And here it is, the finished vote winner :) I hope I'll get more chance to draw my new ensafirs race in the future ^^ I imagined these android creatures to be really colorful, and I was afraid there would be too much color on the picture. But then I tried to balance that out with a very bright background, and I think it worked out really well :)

So there are two things I would like to talk about/announce :)

First of all, I'm going to take a few days off next week, so there will be no Tree of Life page next week. There won't be any problem with the next Wishes page, it will be uploaded on Monday as usual.

But even though I'll take a few days off, it doesn't mean you won't get any content! You see, we've been secretly preparing something cool for a while ;) It's an idea we've been playing around for a while, and we had a lot of ideas how to realize it. It's not really a new project, more like something that will return time to time. Anyway, the point is that next week instead of Tree of Life, you'll get a 3 pages long mini comic, one page each day from Wednesday to Friday. The pages are already done, I've been making them in my free time, so don't worry, I'm not doing even more work than usual on my days off :D I'm not going to tell what the comic will be about, but I'm sure you'll like it ;)

I was messing around with a few characters, gender bending them and such, and I got a few ideas for a tutorial thingy, and I decided to make it. I thought maybe I can say something useful related to the subject, because gender bending is a fun and interesting thing to do with your character :) And maybe this little tutorial could even help with drawing the two genders :)

So I wanted to draw something REALLY intimidating with Rah'Jan for a long time, but nothing good came to my mind. But then I made this, and I'm really proud how it turned out! :D I tried to explore Rah'Jan's personality a bit more. There's more in him than aggression, like silent threat, as he prepares his plans slow and steady. At first I wanted to make it look like the black stuff is flowing from his wrists, but then I decided it should flow from his whole body, not just from his veins :D

I wanted to make the beginning of the erotic act slover and as romantic as I just could. I just felt that's how it should start :D And I have to say this page turned out pretty challenging. When I made the sketch I would never imagine how much work three full body panel would make... But I have to say, it was worth it, because I'm really proud of this page :)

For those who don't know, ensafirs are my space bug race. They are not fully developed yet, but I like drawing them time to time. "Dreadlock Stella"

You guys know I love dreadlocks, and you know I love Stella as well, so you two really made an incredibly fun suggestion :D And I kinda felt I should give some kind of "frame" to the picture, and that's where the roses came from :) And to be honest, I just realized I barely draw busts... XP

So the suggestion was about a sexy dragon, and I realized that I haven't drew any dragon for a while. I really wanted to give her a cool and sexy pose which would fit to her wings. I love drawing wings ^^

I had a hard time coming up with the colors, but at the end I think they turned out great :) I wanted to find complementer colors that you can even see from afar. I changed them around a lot to find a balance.

"Relaxing Turian"

So Raiyk wanted to see a turian from the Mass Effect series in my style. I've never played Mass Effect before, but I think turians has a really great and unique design :) I wanted to make something relaxing with him, but I couldn't find what they eat, so I just made up some random alien food :D Oh, and by the way, it was a lot harder to draw him sitting, because their design is a bit weird here and there, so it was a lot bigger challenge than I anticipated X[ Hope you like it :)

So I felt like drawing a cute, calm picture with my forest fairy boy, Arthur. He's drawing his beloved water fairy, Dina :) I kinda started to go with the flow with this picture, and let the shapes and composition to come naturally. And I didn't want to color it, I just wanted to concentrate on the lights and shadows.

By the way, while I was making this picture on stream, I had a bit of a conversation about coloring. So I thought I'll share the lineart for this picture, so you guys can color it as you like :D To be honest, I'm really interested what colors you would use for this picture :) So get creative, and don't hold back!

I'll be completely honest with you guys, Asterix and Obelix wasn't really a part of my childhood. Such a damn shame I had to grow up without them… Only later did I get to know them better. I can't make up that time, but I wanted to make a little tribute. I frickin love all the comics and the movies! I can't get enough of them!

So this is how I would imagine them in my style. Somehow I really wanted to see Asterix in baggy pants. Dogmatix got a schnauzer approach from me. Obelix didn't really change much, but it's up for you to say :) I hope you like them in my style.

And just a side note. I finished this picture weeks ago, I just never got around to actually upload it. I'm really sad, because during that time, I heard that their original artist died. So I guess this should be a tribute to him too.

I'd like to show you guys something I just quickly put together. I used similar character displays as reference I've seen in the past. You know, like "try to recognize characters from this or that movie/series if they only show you the colors in this form, and indicate a bit of height. So for fun I made my own version of this about the Tree of Life. I have no idea how these things are called, so I call it a "color distincion chart" ^^ Somehow I found these interesting enough to try it out.

This was such a small thing, yet I had so much fun with it! ^^ The funny thing is, even if they're only blocks, you can indicate pants and tops, so you can make a block girly :3

I know the comic just started a few months ago (and two of the characters doesn't even have a refsheet), but I wonder if you can recognize all the characters ;)

Originally this was a sketch for Patreon I did back in 2017. But I always loved this picture, and I really wanted to finish it. So once I started working on it. But I was dumb enough not to save often, and yes, my PC died while making it... The picture was half finished at that time. I'm sure you can imagine how mad and sad I was.

But even after years, I just couldn't let this picture go. Not sure why, but the sketch was always dear to me. But after 3 years, I tried to finish it again. This time I could succeed. (And I didn't even forget to save often :D) And I added a lot of new ideas as well to the picture, so it turned out a lot different and a lot more detailed than the original was. So I'm pretty happy with this final version :)

And on top of that, I finally had some time to stream again in public, so I made this whole picture on stream. It was so much fun ^^ I hope I can do a lot more public streams in the future :)

Oh, by the way, I though it would be a cool little bonus to add the PSD file and the progress AVI video to the picture. You know, to celebrate the resurection of this lost project :D So I attached them to this picture, and you can dowload them for free :)

Anyway, it's always such a joy drawing Zaphira's foot, because they are so colorful :) It kinda adds an extra cuteness to them :D And I really love making her scales too! AND I really enjoyed working on the background as well :D

And this time I tried to make the whole picture in the same style as I do the comics. So no soft shading and stuffs like that. And I think it turned out really good :)

"Wendigo Rah'Jan"

Mr TTerevel's suggestion was that I should redesign Rah'Jan as a caprine wendigo. That's why he got goat horns instead of stag ones that wendigos usually have. And I changed his proportions a little bit too (like the length of his jaw and arms), now he looks more monkey like, and more feral. Sometimes people said Rah'Jan looks similar to wendigos (maybe because he has no flesh on his face), so it was about time to draw him like a wendigo :D

"Keeper of Worlds"

Mike suggestion was an "epic dragon." Nowadays I tend to listen to more calm and mystical music, so I wanted to draw something that's epic and calm the same time :)

I'm sure it's not surprising anymore if I tell you how much I love making grass and leaves, so this page came pretty easily :) I wanted to make the cradle blue as well, to make it look more magical, but the colors blurred together too much with Luna's colors, so I just gave it more natural colors.

Behold! Another genderbent picture :D I really dig these nowadays :3 Anyway, here are the genderbend versions of Alex and Gloria. I made the picture with Shen and Zaphira more erotic, I thought I'll make this one more romantic :) And I kept the height differences between them, because who doesn't want a wife who's two head taller than you :D

So the sketch was about Evie with a short hair. And I should really draw her more with short hair, I really love her that way too :) And with this, I took the opportunity to give her a slightly different clothing as well. I wanted to draw her in some kind of a cute orange vest, but I saw this sleeveless hoodie, and I thought it would be a perfect fit to her :)

I'll have to be completely honest, I'm REALLY proud how this page turned out. It's full of unusual perspectives and poses, yet I didn't struggle at all with them. I enjoyed drawing them, and somehow they really turned out looking very natural. So I can safely say that over all these years making comics, this one is one of my favorite pages I've ever done :)

So the "beehuahua" wasn't included in the original sketch, but I felt I just HAVE to add the little guy to the picture. For one reason, he looks adorable, and adds to Alma's "spoiled royal" personality. On the other hand, it gives a reason for Alma to leave the nice and cold castle in such a hot summer day: her cute little sugarmuffin needs a walk :D

And I love how that character on the left side of the picture looks like he was squeezed to the edge of the picture :D And I just realized I made a regular rhino with a bug "skin" :D

And I'm sorry again that I could only finish this one on the very last day of the month. I really tried my best, but this was all I could do... ^^

"Dhani and Sarnell"

This was a simple gender bending suggestion, but man, I just love those! :D It's always so interesting turning a character into another gender while still keeping all of it's characteristics. I already made a little "tutorial" in this topic some time ago. It's almost completely finished, I just didn't have the time to make the last touches on it. Maybe soon though...

I'm sure you noticed that I added something new to the picture. I was really disappointed that I didn't include Alma's beehuahua in the first place... But I quickly fixed that :3 I think it really adds to the comical nature of the picture, that she's really just taking a walk with her dog in the summer heat :D

"New Jewels"

I don't know how many of you know, but I just recently upgraded my tablet to a newer, better version, and the very first thing I drew with it was this picture :) I was thinking what picture would fit the best to celebrate this new tablet. And I couldn't think of a better one than a cute pic with Zaphira :)

And I really like this picture. I wanted to make something cute with her, and concentrate on her feet. Because Zaphira's colorful soles are just too cute :D And I wanted to give her some kind of cool set of new jewels too, because nothing makes a naked character more naked than shoes or jewels :D

Oh, and sadly I drew her TOO long ago :D

"Mad Drama Llama"

So the suggestion was about Rah'Jan, and how would he look with meat and skin on his face. I liked the idea, but I didn't want to "grow" his horns back, because as the suggestion said, I just wanted to give him a real face. But after finishing him like this, I realized that without horns, he looks more like a llama than a goat :D (That's where the title came from.)

This page really turned out bittersweet. I'm happy, because that was what I wanted to achieve :) And I just realized that this was the very first time (or I think it was) when I drew a baby and a very old person as well :D

"Year of the Rat"

So this was (kinda) suggested by two people. It's the year of the rat, and I still haven't drawn enough pretty rat lady, so why not :) And maybe the whole picture turned out a bit more japanese than chinese, but lately I'm just in love with kimonos... XP

I must say I'm very proud of how the first page turned out!

I added a few things that I didn't plan to in the first place, because I didn't know how to do them yet. When days ago I planned in my mind how the page would look like, I didn't expect how many other things it needed to look “complete”. But in the end I think I figured out everything to make the page really fit well with the characters and the mood. I'd like to share some of my realizations that led me to the result. The solutions were sooooo simple, but it was hard for me to figure them out.

The first one: One of my original plans was that to make the background just an empty blue space, and maybe add small leaves or flowers to indicate that it's a friendly place. But the old man faded into the darkness in that way. Some source of light was badly needed. If I had used a blue light source, such as lamps, the old man would have been visible, but the blue would have suppressed every other color. So now different color was needed. The orange was the best choice, but at first I didn't dare to add too much. But I'm glad I did in the end. It helped to highlight so many things and spiced up the visual look of the page! It makes such a great contrast with Luna's blue too!

And the second: Already at the beginning of the progress I thought I had to give up on Luna's glow around her body. I just felt like I haven't found the right way to do the glow easily and efficiently. It really hurt because I always wanted to portray Luna with a glow in the comic. But at the last minute I was able to figure out a way I can add that glow in no time! I just made an extra layer about Luna and hided below her other layers. And then I found a smudge tool for slightly blur the edges with only a few strokes. And that's it!

Now THIS one was a close one! And by that I mean a VERY close one! It was interesting to see how these two pictures were constantly having a race. It was a true battle for the first place! :D But at the end, it's a draw! We haven't seen many draws, but it's not unprecedented :) And in case of a draw, I will arbitrarily make the final decision, and I choose...

I made this as a huge tribute for one of my favorite game. There's still not enough Axiom Verge related works! After seeing how big this picture was turning out, I decided to finish it as a wallpaper, because the thought itself could greatly inspire me :) Hope you'll enjoy it, and feel free to use it :)

And just a little side not: For weapon reference I used the picture of a printable 3D model I randomly found on the internet. I couldn't find any credits, but I just liked that design so much! So if you happen to know anyone who made a printable 3D model of that weapon, say thanks to him in my name ;)

To tell the truth, this picture started as a simple sketch, but with time it just turned into a full rendered picture. When I started working on this, I was going through a difficult emotional period. I just couldn't find my peace. Many things tortured my feelings, and working on this helped me a lot to pull through. (But drawing is always a therapy for me I guess.)

Maybe I could try explaining what I tried to express, or what I felt during the progress: The heavily oppressive feeling because of something unknown and terrifying, but it's still wonderful in it's own grotesque way. This is the main motive, but beside that I wanted to mix in other vibes as well, like hope and courage, that are represented by the protagonist in the middle. Even though the setting gives an uneasy feeling, I tried to make the expressions calm and kind. You know, like they were tell you that everything will be alright.

I feel much better today, and in addition, there's that satisfying feeling that I could finish such a big picture ^^ I do make full rendered pictures in general, but I'm not used to make them this big, and so detailed. Compared to my previous works, this is a new achievement for me. So yay I guess! :D It took me an enormous amount of time to finish it, and I often worked on it in small batches. (I think it took me more than a month to finish this picture.) It was easy to put down the sketch when inspiration attacked me. But as the time passed, the urge that this could end up something great grew stronger in me. I had hard times finding out the forms, shapes, and how much details would be enough. I constantly made experiments during the progress. I tried to choose everything as wisely as possible. I think a few things could have turned out better though. For example I'm not completely satisfied with the platform the protagonist is standing on. (Maybe using the style/terrain of one of the levels would have been a better choice, but I realized that too late. But oh well.)

Anyway, I hope you like it! :>

I'd like to do more Axiom Verge related things in the future. I hope I'll have the chance.

And there it is, the curtains are up, so let me introduce you the next erotic comic, Wishes 2! ^^ That's right, our ex-jinny and her ex-thief boyfriend get their own sequel! This will be officially the very first sequel we ever made :D

But there is a few things we'd like to say about our very first sequel. We don't know what are your expectations, and we don't want you do be dissapointed. First of all, don't expect a lengthy comic like Prophecy. We can't really predict how long this one will be, but it's a fairly short comic compared to the others. It will be short, but cute. Very cute :) And it won't cover
a huge story eiter. We had a lot of ideas how to continue their story, and this will cover their first few steps on the road leading to a normal life together. Consider it a bridge between two stories :)

Anyway, I hope you are happy with the announcement, and please look forward to the very first page next Monday! :)

I thought I post a small reminder, because today (as I stated earlier) won't be any kind of content posted. That's because we thought the best would be to leave us a few free days to make the last needed preparations about the comics. And I'm extremely happy to say that both comics are 120% ready to start :)

So on January 27. (Monday) you'll finally see which erotic comic will get a sequel, because I'll post the finished cover page that day.

And on January 30. (Thursday) the Tree of Life cover page will be uploaded, so my dream project will finally start as well :)

So I ask for a little bit of more patience from you guys, all the awesome new content we've been preparing for you are right around the corner :) Oh, and don't forget, from next week instead of the usual two weeks, we'll extend the Patreon exclusivity time to FOUR WEEKS!

So here it is guys, the very last refsheet before the comic.

While we already knew how big every character will be, we thought it would make future work a lot easier if we had the sizes for both the characters and for the weapons in one place. And I think it turned out very informative :) I know the characters' silhouette aren't really much, but I think they give a good impression how the shape of the characters differ from each other as well.

This is the first time you can see the team's weapons as well. As you can see, most of the weapons are pretty basic, and nothing really special. But this will be only the start of their journey, so I think it's understandable they are not running around with all kinds of rare and special weapons. They still have to find themselves first before they could really know what's the most fitting weapon for them :)

But I'm sure you can see there are two weapons that differ from the others. That's right, Alex has his own swords he's been carrying for hundreds of years. These two swords are one of a kind artifacts, and they were created specifically for Alex. So they are godly weapons indeed.

I know this refsheet doesn't look like much, but to be honest, maybe this was the one that really made us happy. Maybe because this is the first time the characters are “kinda” together. Or maybe because the weapons were the last details we had to show before the start. Because after this, there is nothing left but the actual comic itself. And this feels absolutely wonderful :)

"One Man Army"

So Simone suggested a picture in an "amazofuturism" theme. I've never heard of that before, so I looked it up, and apparently it means sci-fi mixed with inca and aztec culture. After that I just HAD to make a picture like that! I always loved mixed theme worlds :) So I hope that's what you expected Somine :D

So while looking for the stream record of the vote winner, I noticed that I actually streamed three of the refsheets, and I had the whole progress videos to them. So I thought if I already have them, why not upload them as some little extras? :) So here you go, have some extra progression videos if you are interested :D

"Stroll in the summer heat"

So this is how it looks when there is just too hot out there, but Alma still wants to take a refreshing summer walk :D

So there she is, the daughter of the water god, Lily. Just like her father, Alexander, Lily came from another comic, and to be honest, she was an interesting character to make. We already had her design from “Gift from the Water God” but to implement her into the Tree of Life, we had to come up with a fitting personality that we could develop further throughout the story. Lily is an extremely friendly, cheerful little girl, full of life and curiosity. But that doesn't mean she's a helpless little child. She is the daughter of a god, in a world tormented by chaos after all. So let's just say she can hold on her own in a fight.

So here is the goddess of life with the only food that combines all the gifts of nature in a perfect harmony :D

"Chatting with the Fishes"

So the suggestion was Lily having some cute interaction with underwater creatures, and I really found this idea adorable! ^^

There was the same suggestion with Subnautica creatures as well, but I'm not familiar enough with that game yet, so I just went with simple sea creatures.

The first and the biggest news is that we finally have some proper dates for you! So here's what will happen in January, with exact dates:

January 16. - Lily refsheet.

January 20. - Weapons refsheet + height charts.

January 23. - Nothing uploaded, we'll make the final preparations with the comics.

January 27. - Next erotic comic cover.

January 30. - Tree of Life comic cover.

So mark your calendars, because that means on the last week of January both comics will finally start! We still want to keep in secret what the erotic comic will be, but it will be a sequel to a previous one. But to which one, well, let that be a surprise :)

Now let's see that extended Patreon exclusivity we made a little voting about yesterday. There's just such a HUGE gap between you who liked the idea and between those who didn't! We really don't think there is any need for more waiting. And that's why with the start of the two new comics the extended exclusivity starts too! So from the last week of January, you who support us with your hard earned money will be a WHOLE MONTH ahead with both comics!

Alexander, just like Chili, wasn't intended to be in the Tree of Life story at first. But just like with Chili, it just happened at some point. His appearance added so much to the story, we just had to properly write him into the Tree of Life world. With that came some design changes, a lot of personality changes, and (I'm pretty sure a lot of you won't be happy because of this…) these changes kinda made the “Gift from the Water God” comic non canon. I mean, kinda. Maybe only half of that story is canon? It's complicated... But you'll see from the Tree of Life comic.

So Alexander is the god of water. (Not a huge spoiler, don't worry guys.) And as a god, he has divine powers, and can control/create almost anything related to water. During those hundreds and hundreds of years he has been alive, he saw and experienced a lot wandering the world, in some cases maybe even more that the Tree of Life herself. But even with the strength and limitless power that came with godhood, he never forgot what it means to be a weak mortal. (That's right, at one point, just like the other gods, he was just a simple mortal man.) But will Alex be strong enough to fight against the rule of chaos?

We would like to ask for your opinion. You see, we've been thinking on something about Patreon. You guys are supporting us with so much money, comment, love and feedback. But it seems we can't put up more content, this is the limit Vik can draw and not go crazy :D

Anyway.

We were thinking extending the Patreon content exclusivity from 2 weeks to 4, so for a whole month. So every picture and comic page would stay on Patreon for a whole month before they get pubilcly uploaded. So no price would change, but you'll be 4 pages (or 8 pages, because two comics) ahead of everyone else. We think this is cool, and a way to give you a little bit more without burning out, you know.

BUT!

We want to keep the PSD uploads delayed just like now. Because people still like to steal the watermarked pages from the site, and if the PSD would be uploaded the same time with the pages, they had absolutely no problem to remove everything and just upload it anywhere the moment we post it on Patreon. So you would only get the PSD files when the pictures would get public, so there would be a 4 week delay between the pictures and the PSD files on Patreon. So that's why we would like to ask four your opinion. (We already asked you on Discord, but we would like the hear all of your opinions.)

We've updated our Patreon goals, that haven't been properly written or updated ever since the existing of this Patreon, so in quite some time...

There is no major change in it, but we wanted to do some proper goals for the new patrons, so they'll be able to see the content they'll find here a bit easier. And we tried to re-adjust the goals/required work as well, because we had to learn the hard way that some content requires a lot more work than we anticipated at first...

But anyway, nothing changes, everything remains the same. It's only for the new patrons, and just in case if the future gets a bit grim and dark :D

So here is Leo, or Leopold on his full name :)

I came up with Leo's character a lot earlier than with the other characters, but unlike them, Leo's design went through a lot less change over the years. But while coming up with a color palette was a piece of cake with the others, we had to start coloring Leo over and over again, until we settled with his palette. I'm saying this, because I think his colors really help to highlight his features right now, and I'm really happy with that :)

Leo is the team's walking-talking muscle mountain. The big, always grumpy and arrogant warrior. For Leo, only two things matter: the mission, and him to become the strongest. Leo is anything but a team player. And because of all that, let's just say he has difficulties to find the common ground with the others.

"White Lantern Luna"

After Evie as a blue lantern, and Stella as a red lantern, let me introduce you Luna, the white lantern :) White lanterns are basically the lanterns of life (space Jesus Christ, literally), so the role more than fitting to her :)

I'm sure a lot of you remember Miralle, but finally she got her own refsheet too :)

So Mira is the cat in the party, because I just had to add one :D (If we don't count Leo, who is also a cat, but a pretty big one, so I kinda consider him a hairy ork.) I always loved cats, because they are easy to draw, and I think you can express many emotions with them easily. That's why the most lively and mischievous character of the party just had to be a cat :D

I always imagined Mira as a cool, tribal looking character, so at the end I decided to make her markings birthmarks instead of body painting. She's a very agile fighter, and her bloodline gift, the green “flames of life” make her the perfect weapon against the chaos beasts. At the beginning at least.

Mira is always full of life and energy, so she's always the first one to jump into action. Sadly she usually does that without any kind of thinking or regard for the consequences. She's incredibly reckless and hasty, and that never helps the party or the mission, and her “decisions” usually lead to someone getting hurt. But beside those she is always cheerful, optimistic and caring as well. She will never ever leave anyone behind, making her a good leader candidate.

"Sexy Bidoof"

I heard that people really don't like Bidoof, like he's the pokemon world's Quasimodo. I hope as an anthro more people will get to like him :D

By the way, the suggestion said "sexy Bidoof" and I'm not sure if that suposed to mean a big tiddy sexy girl, but right now this is what I found sexy :D

This picture came pretty randomly. And this mushroom isn't supposed to be a magical one that makes you fly, just an "ordinary" baked one :D I ate some in a restaurant some time ago, but I loved it so much I just had to "immortalize" it in a way. *Sob.* I miss that mushroom so much! D:

So here she is guys, the Tree of Life herself :)

I always loved drawing horns and antlers, because they always looked to me like some kind of crown. And blue is especially one of my favorite colors. I adore characters and themes close to nature, and that's why I love drawing branches and leaves so much. So after all of this I'm sure you all know why Luna is one of my favorite characters. (Even though she didn't have as much "screen time" as much she would deserve...) I basically combined everything in her that relaxes me.

I think beside Rah'Jan, Luna's look changes the most over the years, because at the beginning she was nothing more than a magical tree. Later I thought turning the tree into an actual character is a lot more fun and interesting. Especially because there can be a lot more interaction with her, and gods could be a lot more human and personal. I wanted to make Luna a godess who are really close to people in every way, who is not untouchable, but the opposite: she lives with them, she understands them, but most importantly, she cares for all of them. Like they were her children.

But keep in mind these are nothing to do with commissions, so please do not request your original characters. But character designs, scenes, SFW and NSFW, fanart, literally anything else is okay.

I would like to continue this little tradition with the boozy/booby pictures, this time with Gloria and Alexander :)

There are a lot of things I'd like to say, because every year feels like a small new beginning. And in 2020 my long time dream comic will finally start, the Tree of Life. And that start isn't far away either, because it will happen in January :) That is what makes me really excited, and that's why I'm looking forward to the next year. I know I've been teasing this project for a long time, but it's really here, just around the corner :D

And that's why I just have to say a HUGE thank you for every single one of you! You, who support me on Patreon with your hard earned money. You, who comment, sharing your critiques and support. I know I say this a lot, but I truly feel that without you guys, and without your endles support, I could never ever be able to start Tree of Life.

Rah'Jan's design wasn't an easy one to finalize, even though it isn't too complicated. He'll be the main villain in Tree of Life story, so shaping his design and personality was a lot harder than the other character's.

A lot of you have asked why I chose a goat skull as his head. I chose that because I wanted to make his design simple yet intimidating, and it was challenging to make him scary without big pointy teeth or spikes. And I didn't want to make him look like a feral animal either, because that way his intimidating look would only come from his unpleasant animal appearance. I wanted to build up his intimidating aura from other things.

His fur is dark red because I wanted it to resemble blood.

Because he has a skull for face, it was a challenge to make it expressive as well. So I gave him this purple goo-flesh to be able to move his face. 'Cos you know, magic.

And here it is, the finished refsheet for Chili :) I really wanted to draw her's for a long time, and finishing it felt more fun than an a job. It was really relaxing, because she is one of my favorite character :) (And she's also shaped like a friend, especially under waist X] Only she know if it's her big butt, or just fluff. Maybe one day we'll find out too :D )

Back then when I came up with her name (way back then, when she was just a random character in my Rayman fancomic...), I just wanted to come up with something cute. Like Chichi, Cuki, Chini, something like that. But then I settled with Chili, because I really liked it. Back then, she was just a cute little "bird fairy." But as time passed, her name kinda "poured" into her personality. The cutsie fairy became a cutesy fairy, who gets angry pretty easily :D

Hey everyone!

Let me introduce you Tristan, the very jumpy monkey-lizard hybrid. He will be one of the main protagonists in the upcoming Tree of Life comic.

When I came up with his design, I wanted to make him as the combination of two species, and I was wondering if there are any combinations that are very rare. So I thought I never seen a monkey lizard mix before.

To be honest, it was very hard to work out how “animal like” he should be. At first I made him walk on four legs. But I wanted the characters to be more unified, like none of them are too feral, and they all walk on two legs. So for me it would be really weird if a two legged creature would have a relationship with a four legged creature.

Anyway, I'm sure you can already see that Tristan isn't the embodiment of courage. Not yet at least. So he's always kinda jumpy, a little stuttery, and it doesn't take much to oppress him. So he really has a long road ahead to be a hero.

This is like the second poster I've done for the Tree of Life. The previous one was made like two years ago. I had no problem with the previous poster, but I think I look at the characters from a different angle now, and the protagonists went through quite a few design changes since then. ( Oh, and I know Alex and Lily aren't on this picture, but they won't be missing from the next one :D )

I'm pretty proud how Rah'Jan looks at this one, because on the previous one I still didn't know how he should look like. After two years, all of his personality and look were finalized I think, and I came up with an idea how to represent him properly. Just like with the previous picture, I don't know if I will ever finish this one, but I'm happy that I could make a cool mood for the story.

By the way, thank you guys for all the Q&As, because with those I could mold their personality in a "non canon" way, that actually gave me a lot of ideas to play with.

Hey Everybody!

Because there will be no comic pages for a while, we will treat you guys with some other things. Especially with Tree of Life related topics to get you guys in the mood for the comic. For starter, here's a reference sheet :)

We've already introduced a few characters to you over the years from the upcoming Tree of Life comic. But a couple of important characters didn't have a finished design at that time yet, so you didn't get the chance to get to know them at all. Now we can introduce one, the eternally sulking and peevish Nigel.

He was difficult to design, because I wanted to create a unique species. At some point we thought a mix of a rhino and a rabbit would look cool. But we still have to figure out a name for them :D

Nigel is one of my oldest characters, and I've always thought a lot about how he should look like. Even if he looks like a simple character, the evolution of his design has been very long, and I am very pleased with this final version. Hope you like him too! (Even though I'm going to do everything to make him as “unlikeable” as possible, if you know what I mean. He needs to learn his lessons ;)

Here you go, another Pokemon redesign by me :D I always found Mewtwo special, I liked his design, his look. Because he's an artificially made creature, I wanted to imagine him as an "android", something between a living being and a machine.

Another project ends, so it's time for another farewell. I'm a little sad now, but I'm not going to lie, I'm a lot more happier than sad. “Welcome to New Dawn” was an important project in many ways. Now I'll try the impossible and pour it into words what we feel now.

First of all, this was the longest comic we've done so far. Almost 100 pages! I can't believe it! I almost drew it for two years! Making this AND an erotic comic the same time, with four pages per month. It was quite an accomplishment for me.

Second, this was the first real adventure comic we made. I know it had a lot of “slice of life” elements, but I still think there were plenty of action and horror packed scenes. I want to make a lot of adventure comics in the future, and New Dawn showed a lot of things what works and what doesn't in adventure comics. Because we learn comic making in an autodidact way, we always have something new to learn from every comic. But we love learning things that could make the future projects even better!

And third, this project was especially important for me and my husband, because Estella and Evie are our very first, and most loved characters. I came up with Estella like 15 years ago, and my hubby created Evie I think 10 years ago. (The fact that we both made them cat/female/white without knowing each other is still an absolute baffling coincidence for me.) Even though they were our most loved characters, we could never come up with stories for them. And the idea, that we should put them together as a family, almost came from nowhere. But still to this day, it was one of our best ideas story and character wise. Two characters, so different from each other, so broken in their own way, creating something whole together. And the fact that we could properly present them and their story for you, and you guys loved them… It brings tears to our eyes.

A lot of you asked for a sequel. A lot of you want to see more from them, more from their past and future. And we have plenty of ideas and stories for them. If everything goes well in the future, it will be only a matter of time until you can see how their life progressed further. So the kittens' story is far from over, but we'll let them rest for a bit, because we have a lot of other characters and worlds to share with you. And a lot of stories to tell as well.

If we are already talking about other projects, it's time to talk about the next big one, and what comes after New Dawn. In January a new action-adventure comic will start called “The Tree of Life.” I'm sure a lot of you remember the title, because I've been talking a lot about in in the past. It will be a fantasy adventure, full of cool characters, action, darkness and blood. I've been dreaming and developing this story since I was a kid, but now, with my hubby, we turned it into something special. I've been waiting for this day a long time, and there is only a little bit of wait left until we can finally present you this dream story of mine. I'm really nervous and excited how you guys will like, because it will be a lot bigger than New Dawn! I'm sure you already saw a lot of Tree of Life characters, but I can't wait to finally show them to you as a whole, with their final design, look, and personality.

And for closure we want to thank you all the money, all the comments, all the encouragement, and all the kind words you guys gave us throughout the years. Without you, we wouldn't be anywhere. You are our motivation.

"Christmas Fair"

Here it is, the second Christmas sketch :)

This is the very first time I drew Bobby and Betty as adults. And even though they haven't had too much role in the comic, I think they and their development were still characteristic enough to make a cute family picture with them. So Bobby is all cool and handsome now, and Betty turned into the cutest chubby mommy on earth :D Hope you like them :)

"At least the elf is top notch..."

And here it is, the very first Christmas sketch :) You see, Rah'Jan doesn't make the best (or the most convincing) Santa, but at least Luna, the Tree of Life was born to the role of "Santa's" little helper :D

And yeah, this is basically the reveal of the Tree of Life's true name. She's called Luna, and for a good reason. But that's a spoiler, so please forget about her name quickly!

Oh, and by the way, Lily is totally like: "Can I have boobies like yours for Chrtistmas?"
And Luna is like: "If you eat all your veggies, and wait a few years, I'm sure you can!"
And from that day on, Lily was absolutely crazed for veggies, for the absolute and infinite happiness of her parents.

"Xeno Time"

So I'm pretty sure you already know I like making erotic stuffs with aliens, and I'm not planning to give up this habbit in the future :D But I realized I haven't really done anything with facehuggers at all so far. So I tried to fix that with this picture. And I kinda wanted to try how far I can go in certain subjects with perversion as well. I just felt I had to be as perverted as I can possible be :D And I know this one looks a lot different than the usual sketches, but I messed around with this picture an awful lot, because I just didn't like it. But I think the final version is something I do like a lot :D

[UPDATE] I fixed the messed up speach bubles.

So this is kind of a design of my older alien race. I made this picture a long time ago, but only recently had the time to finish it. I did it on a stream, and some people said his head looks really similar to Alexander, and if this is him in an alternate universe. The answer is no, he's a completely different character. It just seems I really like drawing this type of male heads... XP

The second thing is about “Welcome to New Dawn”. So I'm sure a lot of you already know that Prophecy just ended, and New Dawn isn't too far either. In fact, there is not much left of the comic. We should start the next erotic comic soon, just like Tree of Life after New Dawn ends. Preparing and endings so many things at once is… pretty damn exhausting. So there is something we came up with. Okay, it wasn't 100% our idea, but still…

So we decided to go full steam ahead with New Dawn! That means 2 pages per week! And with that New Dawn will end in the middle of December. We'll take a few weeks off comic wise after that, not to relax, but to prepare our next two comics. Because this means in January we will start TWO new comics at once! One being the next erotic comic (which is a sequel to a previous one, but let the title be a surprise), and the other is Tree of Life, one of my dream project.

I hope you guys are fine with this decision, because this will really make our job a lot easier, and will help put our focus where it really should be.

This was a really simple suggestion, but somehow it really got me. Razor wanted to see a horse character, and suddenly a buffed lumberjack came to my mind, and I really wanted to draw that :D
