I think I'm up too... oh holy christ, nearly 10 years of guitar :x
and prior to that I think I had roughly 7 years of piano...

I wish I would have stuck with piano, I'm tempted to try and get a decent keyboard and start learning again

as for music, I'm all over the place... pretty much everything except for christian praise and worship music (I like a lot of the non-over-the-top christian stuff though... everything from skillet to plumb to owl city)

so far today I've done everything from the MLP music to death metal, back to some trance, and now I'm gonna go play some guitar... feeling a bit of AFI, eve 6, cake, and rise against coming on

Yay percussion! Mallets are my favorite :)

I also play piano, other percussive instruments, and write electronic music in FL Studio.

About 5 1/2 years of drums and a few months of guitar. I've dabbled in piano a bit as well.

I don't have a specific genre -- I just like listening to people making honest music(as opposed to people just looking for attention). My favorite bands are Thrice, mewithoutYou, and La Dispute, but I also enjoy AFI (mainly their newer stuff), Bloc Party, cKy, and Therefore I Am.

I used to play piano but I mostly play guitar nowadays. I had a hard time learning to play guitar until I flipped one and made it left handed.

Don't know if I'm any good though since I'm a bit of a shyguy and never really played with anyone :| It sounds mostly like grunge to me...

Genre wise that's about half of them. And those are the only instruments I care that i play. I would rather not name the rest.

Always forget about, rasta musix, and trance, and a whole bunch of other stuff. The only stuff I REALLY can't stand is country and pop.

I can play the bass guitar, the trombone, and the drums. I'd love to learn how to play the piano, and possibly the cello. I like the Screamo, electronic, and classical. :3

I can play most bass brass instruments, I learned the bass clef first and feel more comfortable reading it. I can play a piano because I know scales, so only improvisations and memorized stuff.
I like classic rock, I nit pick other genres for artists and songs.

to be honest, if a song is well produces, then i'll probably like it. that the reason why i can listen to pop and mainstream stuff (mainly because mainstream is so mainstream its hip).
but the guys who are making these songs are utter geniuses. they can just pull off an unbelievably catchy and well made sond in like a month. respect to that.

the only genre that i would say wasnt my cup of tea would be metal, but to be honest i havent listened to that much, and i sort of judge it because its so clichéd. but if you can prove me wrong then ill happily listen to it.
