Hello everypony! I'm a new ponyanon. I might come up with a pony name some day. We'll see. I just caught onto the MLP phenomenon a few days ago from seeing the threads in /b/, and I've been addicted. I've only watched a couple of the episodes so far, but I very much plan on watching the rest!

I have a question, though. I feel like MLP is very contrary to the nature of me being a metal head. Yet, it feels so counter-metalhead culture to the point that it somehow feels right, and I really want to write some MLP metal. There's really a lot in just the first two episodes that I think could translate well to metal music. Good idea or bad idea?

I'm sure that Pony Metal IS possible, but I don't know how I'd go about it myself... that just ain't my skill, I guess. =P
