I feel I got paraspriteed hard by Directv.


So, last week, I finished watching all the back episodes that were on youtube, but I figured, hey, why not watch the new ones on television? That way they can get their money w/e I don't really know how that works, but I really felt better that way.


So anyway, I needed to make sure I actually had HUB first, so I checked to see what channel it was, and tried to find it on my television. Sure enough, there it was. This was wednesday, and there was one of the muppets shows on. Great, I have the channel! So I recorded the MLP at 1:30 on friday.



So come friday I go to watch the episode I recorded, and when I tried to bring it up on the DVR, and it says "This channel was not purchased at the time that this program was recorded" or something similar along those lines. Now I was pretty darn pissed off cause I didn't get my weekly dose of ponies that I was expecting. And plus, we had the channel on Wednesday!


So I called up Directv and asked them where the hell my channel went, and they said OH WELL THAT'S WEIRD LET ME LOOK THAT UP FOR YOU and so they pulled up my account and looked for the channel and they said OH YEAH YOU DON'T HAVE THE PREMIUM PACKAGE SO YOU DON'T HAVE THAT CHANNEL, then I asked, So why the hell did I have the channel 2 days prior? And they're like OH YEAH WE WERE JUST RUNNING A PROMOTION UMAD?


I am mad :( Oh well I guess I just gotta wait for the eps to come out on youtube :( Screw you Directv :(
