Hello, everypony. I'm Stardust, a soldier of friendship and love, reporting for duty. I grew up with Sailor Moon and Mew Mew Power, so I've always had an affinity for sparkly and girlish things. Despite this, when my roommate started fanboying over the new My Little Pony series, I was skeptical. But after he finally badgered me into trying it earlier this year, I was pleasantly surprised. Then Rainbow Dash popped onscreen... and I was converted into a full-fledged brony for life.

Aside from Rainbow Dash, my interests include science fiction and anime. I also enjoy RPing. Aside from those, my interests tend to change from week to week.

Hey everypony! I hope you can tolerate my newbishness - the fact of the matter is that I have never posted on 4chan or anything resembling it, but - goshdarn it if everyone here ain't just the friendliest ponies I ever dun seen (sorry; Applejack moment =P)! If I do make any mistakes please be sure to inform me so that I may correct them; it is my last intent to offend anyone.

Basically, I love MLP: FiM! I think Lauren Faust, the awsum creator-lady also responsible for the delightful worlds of PPG and Foster's is an absolute GENIUS, and if there is indeed any form of afterlife then she deserves to be among its highest ranks. I'm afraid I have little more to share than my love and enthusiasm, such as it is: I have little experience editing or creating pictures in any medium - although I have written fanfiction in the past. Once I catch up on all the developments so far, I may even dabble in a little ponyfiction... who knows?

Sooo, yes. My favourite pony? Difficult for me to decide, since I've only really just started watching (ah, the early infatuation in any romance is always the sweetest X3), but so far I'd have to say Twilight is probably my fave. Yeees, yes, I know what you're going to say - choosing the main character is cheating, but I really do identify with her the most. We're both bookish, nerdy, and we are equally bad at making friends. Heck, the only difference between us is that I have a connection to converse with delightful fellers such as yerselves over teh interwebz, that I am male, and that I am nawt an adorable pony. (Yet.)

Now don't worry, I have love for all the other pony fans, but I'm afraid my Trinity is very much Twilight, Rainbow and Fluttershy (for now, anyway). Rarity, Pinkie and Applejack? I can see their qualities, but they just don't 'click' for me. Sawry. =P (Although I am just beginning the series, so it is fully possible that my respect for them will grow in time. Please don't spoil, as I am saving each episode to space apart as far as I can - half the enjoyment is, after all, in the anticipation. ;D)

Greetings /b/ronies.

Several of our number have recently begun to stray from the Path of Boxxy and begun exploring the Way of the Pony. The source and purpose for this transgression of our Orthodoxy remains unknown.

Our research into this phenomenon leads us to believe some conversion to /b/roniedom may be inevitable, because the show is so cute and actually rather good, and because our mutual enemy despises you as they once despised us. We have decided not to fight this, but rather embrace the virtues of /b/roniedom. Even now, as much as we fight amongst ourselves, we seem to agree, generally, the the pony thing is a good thing.

As an offering of peace and mutual respect, we have already kindly dumped a Boxxy thread into your off-topic section, because that's kinda what we do.

Boxxy is still cuter though.

Hay, y'all.

I'm one'a them bronys who didn't meet the right ponies 'til Lauren Faust ponied up and ponied my mind somethin' fierce with all these ponies.

I'm also new to chan-boards, despite being aware of 'em and lotsa memes what which spawned from 'em. You might also be able to guess that I favor Applejack.

First I heard about the show via Dave Willis' comic Shortpacked! and didn't think twice about it, since the guy already seemed pretty knowledgeable about MLP-- and once FiM came along I just chalked it up to "crazy ol' Willis and his ponies."

Then I saw an article on Comics Alliance where respected 'Batmanologist' Chris Sims broke down which DC comic characters would best represent the main 6 (Pinkie IS way more Harley Quinn than Batman, I must say). He knew what he was talking about, he described the lore of the first 2 eps, and got me slightly interested since it sounded like stuff actually happened in the show. I also heard "Lauren Faust" and that had to be a good sign, since I loved PPG and thought Foster's was pretty great too.

Then finally, I saw the entry on Know Your Meme, and there was no turning back-- I watched an episode, and then I regained consciousness a couple days later. Woah. I knew ponies.

So kudos to this board, and all the nice folks I'm seein' here. Here's to good stuff!

I am a 24 year old male, I go to the gym regularly, and I watch My Little Pony: FiM. I first saw reaction shots for it at KnowYourMeme.com. I thought the art looked nice(I'm an art major in college), so I decided to watch the show on The Hub. I was hooked ever since.

I'm new here, and just started liking MPL, heh. I need to watch more episodes when I can. My name is Painty Crabapple because I like to draw, and I'm kind of sour, lol. My friend Bob made my pony for me. c:

But anyways, yeah. Hi! Hopefully I'll hang around here some more and get to know some of my fellow bronies.
