Well...there's no big sticky saying what this board's for...but i assume it's for introductions. So yeah, I'm Ren, and I was brought here by a captcha sent to me by the dark lord Inglip. It read "seek Poni"..

After watching 3 episodes I now love My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and I am a Drawpony enrolled in an art school who majors in media arts and animation. I am learning 3D studio Max and Maya, and am currently working on a 3D mofel of a Transformer that uses a pony matching the proportions of the Friendship is Magic ponies as an alt mode, complete with cutie mark-as-sigil. Autobot is traditional, but I can't help but feel that the maximal sigil would be more appropriate.

I also greatly enjoy the music of Ronnie James Dio, Ritchie Backmore, and Ozzy Osbourne.

I doubt the pony ban from 4chan will last more than a day or so. It obviously wont be permanent, but if it lasts for awhile, I'll have to be here.

If it's not a cartoon or a musical, it probably wont be one of my "favorite things ever".

iv been lurking around pony threads since they went to /b/ and i think its about time i start posting.
now i just found out /b/ existed 4 weeks ago so I'm pretty new to this "chan" thing but my friend is a /b/tard so he taught me most of the stuff.
I was also wondering, whats the difference between a brony and a pony? I've seen some people say they were bronys but not ponys and vice versa.

but yeah i kinda started posting without actually doing one of these so like

Basically I had been seeing images of FiM around the net a few months ago but thought it was some kind of wave of fanart all in a similar style or something. I had no idea there was an actual full-blown network cartoon. Being the fan of animation in all forms I am, when I did find out about it and get a link to masterlink's youtube i tried it out, and instantly fell in love from the first episode. The animation is so smooth--the voice cast incredible--the character design the most adorable thing of all time. I knew right then that it was "my thing" but I was really surprised it ended up being the "thing" of so many other people online, especially adult males like me, that were actually able to appreciate it for the quality of a cartoon it is and all that too. Makes me feel really good and hopeful for the future of Western cartoons!

Anyway, ponies are adorable and great. I have heard that this chan is spawned from /b/ but the people and atmosphere here would suggest pretty much the opposite of what I'd have expected in that case. Regardless, it's really nice, warm, and everything a pony board should be. I'd love to be a part of it.

Hey everypony!
I first found this site a few days ago and I figured I should probably start posting my ponylove too.
I've been watching this show for awhile but it wasn't until Bridle Gossip that I couldn't get ponies out of my head!!! Seriously, I brought a new notebook to school on Friday and by the end of the day 30 pages of it had pony doodles.
I might contribute to the drawfriend stuff but compared to the ones I've seen mine probably won't look to awesome....

I could get around the ban, but I'm not switching IP after every post so I am here to stay for a while. I immediately headed to "general" though as I assumed this would be the closest to "random" here. Only just noticed /hi/ - looks good so far though. I hope the mod ponyry on /b/ gets reigned in, I heard at least one of the mods on /co/ was a brony. I just hope that someone lightens up and sees the funny side of having ponies on the "internet hate machine".
