the new episode brought finally some character into the show. Like showing another city, what ponies do all day and finally some other types of ponies than these

From what we see of Cloudsdale, it does look very similar to Roman architecture. Domes and ionian columns and such.

Pegasus ponies seem to have very Roman principles too, doing things for personal conquest (Rainbow Dash) respect for nature (Fluttershy) as well as a love of order and planning ahead (they do control the weather and it's implied they schedule it pretty far in advance).
Does this make the Unicorn ponies analogies for Gaul, and Equestria ponies similar to the Germanic tribes?
