Whats the rule on using names around here? Last time I checked, using a name that wasn't protected by a password wasn't considered a form of identity theft. Isn't that was a trip code and set password for? What, are expected to just call dibs and hope that we are worthy enough to be allowed to use a name now? Again, I just want some clarification. This is not a democracy. If you're trying to skirt by on technicalities just to cause problems, that's not going to work here.

The number 1 rule above all others is to not cause problems on purpose. Using a known poster's name to make claims as them is causing problems on purpose.

So yeah, it's not identity theft. It's not illegal. But it is something we don't like being done around here.

Not being a democracy and not being consistent are two different things that can go hand in hand. If a name is that big of a deal to someone then why don't they just use a tripcode? It's there and is a function of the site.

I actually would not give a fuck. I would be more upset if someone did and got banned because they were to use "My" name (Which I don't own), rather than getting banned for posting loli porn. As for twitter, telegram, discord, ect; those are protected through sign in and hacking into such is actually illegal from what I understand.

The only thing we expect from our users is to respect the decorum of the board. You don't have to like each other, and you don't have to be super nice to each other, but if your personal issues with someone starts to cause problems on the board, such as trying to undermine in individual by posing as them, then we will take action against it.

Also, that's not what 'nepotism' means. Nepotism is favoritism for friends/family. I don't do that here. The difference is that I don't give a shit if you don't like someone, and want to call them an idiot or otherwise not like them. That's your problem. It only becomes my problem when you take it to a level that becomes a disturbance to the board.

So me not jumping on Tracer for calling people names is not nepotism. Pretty much everyone that uses this site regularly already has this list embedded in their head. We don't have that many users, and nearly everyone knows who everyone else is. We're not 4chan. We don't have to keep track of 40,000 users. There's like maybe 20 or so people that post here regularly.

If I was trying to moderate a larger site to accommodate more people, I would be a lot more specific in the rules, but that's not really what this place is about.

Everyone basically knows who everyone else here is, so yeah. There more or less IS a list, and everyone already knows it, because it's not very long.

We operate this way because it's easy, and it's practical, and 99% of the users don't have problems with it. Would it upscale? No. But we have no intentions of upscaling.


To be fair though, I wouldn't have banned you for it. I would have given a warning and locked the thread, probably. I just wasn't around at the time it happened. You take the internet way too seriously.

I keep this place running for the people that still use it, I don't really consider it "mine". If it wasn't for the people here still using it, it wouldn't have a reason to exist.

I will say, things seem a lot nicer without people constantly trying to "topple my regime". While I have never pretended this wasn't essentially a dictatorship where I can do whatever I want, the only thing I actually want is for people that use this site to have a place they can hang out and have fun, but also also feel welcome.
