The problem with Chewy's style of moderation is that he deletes threads and bans users based on his personal feelings instead of an objective consideration of the site's rules. It becomes apparent by the way that he explains himself to the general public for every deleted thread or ban he commits. Not only is it apparent Chewy is on some self-congratulatory moral crusade; he has to insult our intelligence by opening his mouth about his moderating decisions instead of allowing us to observe that a thread was trashed or someone was banned because they were being a retard. It's so bad that even when he goes anonymous, you can tell who it is because he just can't shut the fuck up.

Pretty much everyone on the mod team is tired of Dodger's bait threads. It's not just me. I wasn't just like "this PERSONALLY offends me, so I will ban him." Also, I almost never delete threads, if it's bad enough I simply move it to /trash/ or autosage it so people can still see it and be like "Oh ok, that's why this happened" (which again is pretty much what all the mods do, not just me).

I put the message that he was banned there because as a mod that's literally what I'm supposed to do when I ban someone. Like, I've been asked to do that, so, yet again, it's not just me. If you have a problem with all these things, then you have a problem with the staff as a whole, not just me.

Furthermore, I didn't "go anonymous", when a thread is moved to another board, the post indicating it is moved is automatically anonymous because it doesn't work the same way as making a regular post. When I banned Dodger, I signed my mod name right on the ban so he knows it was me who banned him, and he can tell anyone it was me who banned him, and it's not a secret.

Whether it goes against my "morals" or not, anti-gay bait threads are not something that belong on the site, considering there is a large influx of LGBT people here.

To be fair if I was a mod I'd have done the exact same thing, and would have probably given him a week long ban for a repeat offence. Stirring up drama like that, especially when said drama is being directed at another user can only be a bad thing, and does not belong on ponychan.

I don't have a problem with Chewy, his moderation, or the staff in general. They have to deal with ungrateful retards like you guys all day, you should cut them a little slack and maybe just say good job when they do something correctly.
