No. It has everything to do with the fact that there are mods who are decidedly not mod material.

They even threatened to ban me because i disagreed with them on someone's musical talent of all things. It was a pretty blatant misuse of power, even if they didn't go through with it. That level of touchiness is not a weakness a mod should have.

The good thing is that we can filter mods now. We used to not be able to. I don't have to see this particular mod's page hogging blog posts or anything of that sort, so that's nice.

The way things've been explained to me, it's less a system of punishment and policing. unfortunately. It's taken a bit less serious, than that. Things're treated more as time-outs, than as a genuine punishment for a violation. I believe it was described as "lifeguard at a pool" to me.
Did at least help with my growing animosity at the time. I still get pissy on occasion, but, now I try to remember they've just not got the same standard as I do.

I guess I should have assumed you filtered me, after my earlier post itt I wondered if I was simply getting the cold shoulder.

I was just curious if I turned out to be the bringer about of doomsday that you said I would be the very second you found out I was a mod, but, whatever.

I really don't quite understand how my blogposts are particularly worse than anyone elses blogposts, though.

Meh, all the moderators here are doing a good job, I think. As for blogposts at least it's activity. I do wish this site was as active as it used to be but that ship sailed long ago. tbf, despite technically being "slow" we still at least have very consistent activity, I remember pre-merge days where /oat/ could go an entire day and get like a single post, that definitely doesn't happen anymore.

Activity seems to mostly be politics and porn discussion, at least on /ef/. /oat/ is a little too dull for me, these days. Seems to be mostly blogposts and generals. Same trouble as Ponyville, tbh. Occasionally something interesting comes along, but, I don't really bother keeping an eye out on /oat/ any more.
