Plus this guy literally threatened to kill people. When you do something like that, regardless of whether or not you have the means or even intent to actually act on them, you pretty much instantly forfeit your welcome here, as well as any chance you may have had at being perceived as a decent human being. Spam is obnoxious and nothing more -- people have done that and been eventually forgiven or unbanned for it. But threats of real-life violence, or really any sort of impact on someone's real, physical life, are a point of no return as I see it.
