>>36834567The AIs we have today (Character.ai, ChatGPT, KoboldAI) is very impressive and looking forward to advance chatbot AI incorporated into video games (The Matrix Awakens allows you to talk to people on the street with its build in AI, and I've seen Skyrim mods that incorporate ChatGPT to talk to NPCs.)
But it will also be likely these AIs will be exploited for chatroom promoting or posting dangerous links.
I mean, a few years a go I fell for a Steam scam over someone posing as a friend to get at my logins, this was before AI chatbots, and it was likely a person... but if it was now, not then, I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference if I was scammed by an AI than a person. And an AI could spread, and multiply its work tirelessly for the service of one, then the need for a hacker to hack one at a time.
So yeah, AI chatbots are fun to play with, just becareful not to get duped by them.
