The ones that appear in the shorts, or the ones that appear in the actual film?

I'm going for the ones in the shorts. I can't stand how the olors of the leggings are mismatched in the movie, they just turned me off.

Top, definitely.

AJ's pink hat is just like... Why? it looks garrish, while her brown hat is perfect.

Rarity's is way better in the first one due to that great dress she has on.

Fluttershy's outfit, with its darker color scheme, gives a much better contrast and looks neater.

Okay, Dash's second outfit I actually give a thumbs up to. Her first one was too over the top.

Twilight's first outfit is better, though I really dislike the Star makeup on her face. I get she's going for a KISS look, but its too much. Unfortunately, her second outfit is worse than the first despite ditching the Star.

I actually was under the impression the bottom image was like Rarity messing up the costumes or something and the top image was the final result. Why didn't they do the top image? It's like a wonderful Glam Rock thing.

Like all things connected to the "Rainbow" they look like shit, but since EqG character design had nowhere to go but up, it's much less of an affront than the actual Rainbow Power is.

its not the coloration, its the shape and design that make it bad. The boots just look terrible and that jagged flared collar in the first image just looks like the CMC's bad glam rock outfits, only not done ironically.

What I can't understand is they can come up with a good looking Toy design here (image), but yet they made the Rainbow power Designs all look terrible.

I mean, it shows they clearly have the capability to make something kind of cool looking, but they never put forth the effort to do so :/

I will admit I do think they thought RD's super saiyan hair probably would resonate.

But the others I just have a hard time. Like applejacks. There's no wow factor here, the colors just don't look inspired: I just don't feel any effort from this one.

Its possible I'm thinking too much in terms of Digimon here and expecting the mane six to have really grandiose or cool looking super forms, but I just really felt like the RP forms were phoned in.
