FiM++ uses punctuation marks to define where a statement ends. A punctuation immediately after another (or spaced by whitespace) is considered an empty statement and ignored by the compiler.

List of Valid Punctuation Marks Edit

The following will always be interpreted as punctuation marks:

• ! (! - Exclamation mark)
• , (, - Comma)
• . (. - Period)
• : (: - Colon)
• ? (? - Question Mark)
• … (… - Ellipsis)
• ‽ (‽ - Interrobang)
