  • Sorry if this isn't explicitly language related, but I was working on my compiler yesterday, and I took a short break, and long story short, FiM++ now has a Facebook page. If it's not too much trouble, could you please leave your name there so I could make you an administrator? Also, if there's anything you'd like me to do with it in the meanwhile (from editing to taking it down), please tell me!

    Thanks!

  • Hey there Kyli. Is the Google Document Language Specification still being maintained? If so, there seems to be a problem with the example that counts from 1 to 100. It uses "to" as an infix operator for addition (e.g. "I would add 1 to the current number"), but according to both List of Reserved Phrases and the document itself, only "and" can be used as an infix operator when "add" is used as a prefix. Either that or I'm just misunderstanding something.

    Also, the example uses "the current number" as a variable, but that isn't a valid variable name.

    • Thanks! Somehow we forgot about that way of incrementing. I've also changed the variable name to suit the current restrictions. You're invaluable :3

  • I'm about to define a FDS (format definition string), that is, a general definition of statement formats. Is there a more common name for that, except token?

    P.S. I wrote three of them in the Add page.

    • Good idea! I haven't created a name for them, so feel free to use "token".

      Thank you SO much for contributing your work to this wiki!

    • Just to let you know, instead of using {{code|variable|<variable>}}, use {{tag|variable}}

      It should be ME who is thankful to you for founding this wiki! :)

      Thanks, today I hope to define the comparison operators and format as you did (I've seen your edits, new pages will conform to that format).

    • Heh you're welcome. I have a lot of experience in Wiki management, and plan to set up a "how to edit" page, soon. Hape coding!

      And thanks for conforming to format styles :3

  • Hi! I'm new to the wiki, and rather new to programming (third year high school). Is there any syntac to create and manage objects? I don't see any way to have non-static methods or variables or constructors. Am I missing something or is the functionality not there? And if the second, do you have any ideas?

    • There's no finalized syntax for creating custom variable types, yet. If you'd like, please propose it on FiM++ Wiki:Proposals/Objects. Just remember to start it with the first-level heading "=Raptortech js=" or whatever name you prefer.

      All methods and variables are static, currently. Feel free to also propose a different way to do this :3

  • Check out {{Uquestion}}. It produces . I'm sure that it's not a good name, but feel free to move it to a better one. If you cannot do that due to the filter, just let me know, and I'll do that for you.
