Sometimes it just seems like it is such a waste of time
To try and fight the angry words all queued up in a line. 
They speak of what is normal and what they think should be right, 
They tell you you’re a freak; that you should get right out of sight!
But trust me when I say that they are wrong; 
Believe me when I say that you are strong! 
They do not know the things that you do, 
So stay with me, together we’ll pull through!
So take your smile right back from them, 
And show them you can laugh again!

Even though you know this, there are others just like you 
Who struggle on a daily basis, trying to get through. 
The words they hear, the pain they feel, it wounds them to the core,
