If you really want to write a paper about /mlp/, make it about image board culture in general. You can’t explain this place to people who presumably only know 4chan as the “hacker on steroids” by immediately jumping into things like horsefuckers, explicit greentexts about ponies, and suggestive images of fucking Cozy Glow. Start small; talk about the start of image boards as a alternative to the now-primitive message boards of the early internet, and how the different format and lack of strict moderation eventually made them organically develop into the “anything goes” environment that’s given them such an outlandish reputation among normies. Give historical context behind the bizarre things that can happen on image boards and lead into more unusual subcultures such as /mlp/, don’t just open the paper with “hey guys there’s this internet site where people talk about fucking cartoon ponies for little girls wow glimmer!”.

Of course, all of this is assuming you haven’t already submitted that first draft to your professor and peers; otherwise, you’re completely fucked and I both pity and laugh at your immeasurable autism.

Intro is disgustingly short, sources are not cited properly, overall flow and style is terrible, plenty of grammar issues and spelling errors... no English 101 professor worth their salt is going pass you if you put images in an essay. Thesis is also pretty bad, make it the last sentence of your introduction, and make sure it lists all your body paragraph points. Post the rubric your professor gave you, if he didn't give you one, at least tell us what he wanted you to write. Use MLA, APA, or Chicago style format, depending on what he asked.
