DAY 11   Alright, Questers. I know you're all ecstatic to finally be leading our poor purple filly down some cruel, twisted path of fate tonight, so let's get a summary going and get this shit on the road.   Just a quick recap to get you into the flow of things. --- >Stopped singing to the Treasure Seeker Fanatic, watched her get turned to stone by the Cockatrice >Huddled up and waited for the Cockatrice to leave >Headed down the path, found Sweetie Belle injured in a bush. Rarity had vanished. >Put Sweetie Belle in wagon, continued onward to the base of the mountain trail >Scouted ahead of the team because Scootaloo was too chicken to do so herself >Came to a plateau, saw two ponies standing on the other side >Sang to ponies, discovered that they were Rarity and the derped out filly Fluttershy lost >Chanted to a dead tree >Saw a gap in the trail, told Applebloom to cut down the tree to make a bridge >Gigantic stone bird flew by on patrol, caught the group by surprise >xXx Decided to try and utilize the mysterious box to attempt to control the giant stone bird xXx >xXx Raisin lost her mind, player unable to control Raisin… xXx >APPLE QUEST TIEM > Player assumed control of Applebloom >**Took Raisin’s explosives, threw them at the giant stone bird. PREVENT PERMADEATH! >Back in town, you thank Celestia for being alive. Give Scootaloo a big hug, continue along to fetch Sweetie Belle (and give her a hug as well) >Head into Library, obtain Twilight’s Earplugs >--Send a letter to Princess Celestia telling her about the Adanemzurai -- >Head to the Town Square in search of Rarity >Tell Sweetie Belle to give Rarity the Earplugs, Scoots to get some Elixir off of Pinkie while you fetch some grapes from Dad >Obtain Grape Basket, look for your friends. Spike runs up to you with a letter in hand >Read the letter. Princess Celestia asks you to confirm that you heard the name correctly >xXx Confirm that you heard Sally tell you about the Adanemzurai xXx >Scootaloo comes up behind you, hyper-active from consuming Snakeoil Sally’s Miracle Elixir >Rarity and Sweetie Belle are heading into the Town Square; Rarity has equipped the Earplugs and is now focused >Received a reply from Princess Celestia   >"Raisin, >I've sent my sister Luna to retrieve The Adanemzurai. If you know where it is, please direct her to it. She will be in the Town Square within the hour. ~Princess Celestia XO Standing at the edge of the busy Town Square with the royal parchment in hoof, Raisin reads over Celestia’s orders. Surrounded by her dearest friends Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Spike, Raisin ponders over her next course of action with extreme care. With her Royal Highness Princess Luna due to meet with the young adventurers soon, Raisin takes a few moments to consider her options before devising a strategy for this beautiful, sunny morning.   >Raisin's fate, as well as the fate of all of her friends, is now for you to decide. Pow-wow, discuss theories, and use me to gather as much information as you deem necessary to continue forwards with your epic journey.   WHAT IS YOUR QUEST?   To not die horrifically.   To figure out what to do with that damned box   Frankly, I'm glad it's going to be removed from the game.   Though I do feel bad that we messed up so much that Jr deemed this necessary. Honestly, I bet we would have been better off if Jr never hinted at it and we left it in the tree.   My only concern is with the royalty messing with it and getting enchanted by it.   That would be....... not good.   What the fuck are we supposed to do with it then?   Opening it is bad, we can't trap Tezel in it, destroying the granite chip did nothing.   What gives? The only thing I can see coming out of finding it was effectively stopping it into falling in Tezel's possession, which is also accomplished by sending it with one of the princesses.   Well should we just try and hide it? We've come too far now, and if we don't give it to Luna she might take us in for questioning.   A refresher on the kind of save system we're using?   >SYSTEM INFO: We are currently using an death-triggered reload system. You have 2 lives; to save your progress, you can hug Hayseed.   >Hugging Hayseed no longer loads to your previous save. You must die to reload.     Well then what do we do about Luna then?   We give it to her. Play out this second-to-last life as much as we can. Maybe we'll win this time. Maybe we won't. But we will know more regardless.   It might be a long shot, but Ponyville should have a blacksmith.   Maybe we can get the box, take it to him, and pray that he can whip up a replica in a short time? I mean, Celestia would be glad to think Sally's box is a fake and would allow us to keep the original.   Tell Spike and Sweetie Belle to wait here and watch for the Princess while we take Applebloom to go get the box for the Princess. Mention that we thought we saw that crazy Unicorn from the woods wandering around town and that if she bothers them Sweetie Belle should try singing that song Derpy sang to the fillies. Suggest to Sweetie Belle that she should go and talk to Pinkie Pie to see how she avoids crashing after drinking the elixir.     Maybe both? We could try the second option, but if we can't finish a fake in time, then give it to her.   Applebloom isn't with us, she's at the farm, sick.   >Princess Luna isn't due to arrive for almost an hour, from what you determined in Celestia's letter.   >If you guys are absolutely stuck, you may ask me for a hint, but it does not come without a price.   1Life   >hint no way, we got this.   We'll risk it. If giving her the box is a bad decision, then I'd rather we lose a life and backpedal to our last save point so we can avoid making that mistake.   No hint   The candle that burns half as long burns twice as bright.   Something tells me that lying to Royalty in a Jr quest would end badly.   Alright, so how about this:   Rarity hangs around   Sweetie sings to attract the derped fillies   Pinkie goes and gets a jar of the jelly   While we and Scootaloo retrieve the box? We know acting confident works.   Sounds good.   Modify that to asking Scootaloo to go to Sugar Cube Corner and asking the Cakes how Pinkie Manages to not crash after drink Sally's elixir. If she tries to be stubborn tell her that she can't help us beat Tezel if she's asleep on her hooves.     Yeah, but send Pinkie to go get the jelly. We're on a time limit and should get everything we need to do in town done asap.   We're not entirely sure what the purpose of the item inside it was. It MAY determine who can control the effects of the domination spells.   At the very least I'd want to try to put some of Raisin's hair into it to test this hypothesis. I know we dumped out what was in there and crushed it, and it didn't seem to do anything, but that may have been because nothing new was added.   I was thinking if worse came to worse, if we could get the box to bend to our will, we can use it against Tezel.   He'll probably be arrogant enough to just use it, install it in Titanio, and then we'd have control of it.   Then... then we crush him.   But the box still tried to suck our soul even after the granite chunk came out of it. I would agree if the spell stopped, but the curse is on the box itself.   Right: The box is enchanted with the control spell, powerful enough to control something inanimate, like Titano. It's not a curse, it's just a control spell. Opening it normally triggers it, but that's probably not it's intended use.   I think.   No.   Give him the Pinkie treatment.   No mercy.   >Getting your wits about you, you decide to divvy up your team and start heading out. Knowing that the derped fillies are going to be coming around any time now, you tell Sweetie Belle to begin singing.   >"...what should I sing?" Sweetie looks at you in confusion. You hum your way through the melody that you learned on Sally's Stage the other night.   >"...why am I singing again?" Sweetie Belle seems a bit lost. Scootaloo immediately pipes in, fluttering about. "OhcomeonRaisinThatSongIsSOOOOOOAnnoyingWhyW-" You hold a hoof up to her mouth and tell her that you're gonna need her help to check something.   >"Scoots, could you go to Sugar Cube Corner quick and find out..." You lean in to whisper. "...ask the Cakes how Pinkie manages to keep from crashing after drinking so much elixir. I have a feeling you're going to want to know that little bit of information yourself."   >Scootaloo nods. "AlrightSureWhateverLETSGO!" Scootaloo buzzes off, leaving in a blur. Pinkie bounces after her, following the speedy orange Pegasus to Sugar Cube Corner.   and the dread returns.   I immediately regret my actions.   >You make sure that Sweetie Belle is singing the melody before you start heading out. In a matter of moments, Sweetie is surrounded by a small gathering of fillies. Rarity and her look rather surprised.   >"Lead them off to Sugar Cube Corner, Sweetie Belle. I've gotta go check on something... suspicious." You give her a nod. She nods back, keeping up the melody. She trots off with the fillies in tow.   >"YOU DON'T NEED ME FOR ANYTHING, DO YOU DEAR?" Rarity shouts. Several members of the crowd turn to stare at the vociferous pony.   >You look toward the tree, seeing that the small clearing is currently empty.   >MORALE BOOSTER: You guys have not fucked up.   Tell Rarity to chill out and keep an eye out for a unicorn with silly eyes. We'll be back in a bit.   Take Rarity along. She can just magic the box down.   And try to open it with her magic.   Then we put some hair in it. And test.   For science.   Motion for her to follow us to the tree.   Agreed, Have her follow us and keep watch.   >You motion for her to follow you. She gives you a soft smile and starts heading your way. You lead her toward the small alleyway. She looks about curiously as you enter the quieter divide between the buildings.   >You stand next to the tree that you know Sally has been jamming her ill-gotten treasure into. Off in the distance, you see that odd Unicorn from last night talking to one of the guards. She seems to press him about something.   >You look up into the tree, seeing a few glittering objects hanging up in the branches. Rarity's eyes gleam. "RAIS-" She catches herself when she notices your face scrunch. "Raisin, look at all that gold!" She whispers excitedly.   >Looking about, you do not currently see Sally's horrid disguise making a cameo yet.     Tell her that our "friend" only said we could borrow the gold box with the red gem on it. Could she magic it down for us?   Watch the skies, too.   Motion for her to lean down so we can whisper in her ear. Once she is down at our level remove one of the marshmallows and tell her that there is a rectangular box we need to get out of the tree and give to the Princess. Tell Rarity to be on the lookout for Sally.   Have her lift us up and get the box.   Alright, I think we should have Rarity get the box AND ONLY THE BOX while we keep a lookout.   When a cloaked figure approaches. Stare it down.   >You motion to Rarity to lower her head. Carefully removing one of the earplugs, you begin to tell her that you need to grab a rectangular golden box from the tree. All of the other stuff is not necessary.   >"Ugh.. there's that song again..." She immediately scrunches up her nose in disgust. "Oh. Right. Yes, the golden box..." She looks like she's having trouble focusing. "I can pull that down, no problem." Her eyes are starting to unfocus.   >You keep your head on a pivot, looking for Sally. There's no sign of her yet.   Replug, keep vigilant.   This. Watch for Sally and the unicorn.   Put her earplugs in again.   Be sure to look behind us too.   >You plug up Rarity's ear once more. She shakes her head quick, letting her eyes readjust. Using her magic, she pulls a brush out of her bags and fixes her mane quick. She scans the branches for the Adanemzurai. You can't help but notice how drawn to the other treasure she is. "...are you sure all you need is a little box? I'm seeing so much beautiful gold up here..."   >You assure her that you only need the golden box. It's what the Princess is coming to town for. Rarity sighs in disappointment. "Oh, alright. I'll find it... eventually... behind all this other treasure... I'm sure." She prods around the branches for a bit.   >You continue to look about. Suddenly, your eyes meet up with Sally's dorky pony costume at the end of the alleyway. She stares back, dumbfounded.   >"Ah-HA! Found it!" Rarity begins to withdraw the small golden box from the tree. "Is this it, Raisin?" She jiggles the box, hearing the Piece of Granite rattle around inside. "What's inside? More treasure?"   >You continue to stare down Sally. She's frozen in place.   "Don't open it Rarity. Let's go back to the town square now."   Back away, keeping an eye on Sally.   Give her a grin while you're at it.   Don't act cocky. She has anger issues, remember.   They're the best kind of people to rile though!   Not the kind that almost crushed us accidentally. Besides, she's not a total bitch. I mean, what she does is pretty shady, but I don't think she deserves jailtime.   After all, before this her elixir never caused anyone to feel bad for more than a day.   >"Don't open it Rarity. Let's go back to the town square now."   >Rarity shrugs. "Well... alright, then, darling..." She looks positively confused. "Remind me again why we're only taking this..."   >Sally interjects. She slowly approaches the two of you, whistling the song that you know controls the derped unicorns. Rarity doesn't so much as take notice. Eventually, she sees that you're staring down the alleyway. Her eyes narrow down and she retracts in shock, bumping into the tree. "eeeEEEAHGH WHAT IS THAT?!" A pair of gold necklaces fall from the branches, landing on top of Rarity's horn and a few around your neck.   >Sally, again, looks confused. She pulls off the hood to her costume, squinting toward the two of you. "...earplugs? Seriously? That works?" She shakes her head. You see her eyes fill with a desperate though angry demeanor. She bounds toward the two of you.   Stare her down and tell her to please stop.   Dive out of the way, throw off the treasure. Yell to her that you only want to box.   Stand firm. She doesn't want to hurt us, and she might slow down when she sees we're not interested in running away.   "Yeah it works. You know why I'm taking this box, I know I'll probably get myself killed, but it's better than letting my closest friends suffer a horrible fate. Please..."   >As Sally bolts toward the two of you, Rarity pushes her back up against the tree. You stand firm, not budging an inch. Sally doesn't seem to relent in her charge. Suddenly, the Griffin freezes in place, a soft aura of blue magic surrounding her body.   >Rarity's horn shines brightly. She starts to breathe again, trying to catch her breath. "S..Sally?! What are yo-"   >Sally's talon is just inches away from the Adanemzurai in your hooves. "You stupid kid! You have no idea what kind of danger you've got in your hooves right now!" The griffin struggles to get out of Rarity's magical grip. She squirms and jitters. It's straining Rarity's ability to keep her still.   >Sally's eyes shrink a bit. "Kid, put that back up there. NOW."   >"You know why I'm taking this box already, Sally. Yes, I know I'll probably get myself killed, and yes, I know what this box really is... but I've gotta take a chance." You speak sincerely.   >"Purple, you have no clue what you're doing. That artifac-"   >"The Adanemzurai."   >Sally stops. She stares at you, bewildered. "...how... how did you..? Where did you hear that name from..?"   >Rarity turns to look at you. "WAIT, WHAT DID YOU SAY? WHY DO YOU LOOK SO CONFUSED?" She yanks on one of her earplugs instinctively. Suddenly, she loses control of Sally.   >Sally gets up to her feet. She doesn't attack. "Fess up. What's going on here?" She leans in. "How much do you know?" Put Rarity`s earplug in first.   Pop the earplug back in and explain to Sally that it's... hard to explain. But that she's in danger and should flee if she gets the chance.   "It doesn't matter how I know about it. I do. And I intend to stop Tezel. I know you can't help me directly, all I'm asking if for you to lat me go, and get ever you out of this mess."     Tell Rarity to plug her ears again and that you've got this.   "I know a lot. Please Sally. I know it's dangerous, I know you're trying to protect me. You know what will happen if nobody does anything. Besides, even if the worst happens, at least that's one troublemaking filly out of your hair. I only want the box. You can take your treasure and leave, I won't care. I just have to save my friends"   Hey, wait a sec   What if we get her to spill the beans and summon the bird while Luna is here? Luna will be able to blast it out of the sky with ease.   >You casually walk up to Rarity and hold up her earplug. "Don't worry about it, I've got this." You pop it back in. Rarity looks at you, worried. "...What's going on?"   >You tell Sally that you're pretty sure you've figured it all out. You know that the box is important and is the key to helping you crush up some rocks. You make sure to emphasize that you don't want any of her treasure, taking off the gold chains around your neck. She picks it up and chucks it into the tree, continuing to listen.   >You carry on, telling her that you know she's a good griffin and she only means to protect you, but you've gotta do this. It's for the future of Equestria.   >Impressed, Sally nods her head. "You know, kid. I admire your tenacity. I know that you know a lot more than what you care to share, and that's fine." She throws her hood back on. "And you know what? If you really want to kill yourself, just go ahead and pop that box open. I bet the thing carries a terrible curse." The griffin turns around and starts heading back to town.   >Stopping current action because it's long. Anything you wish to interject?   >Immediately, she covers up your mouth. "Okay, okay. I got it. Don't say anything.   Try not to have bad flashback when our soul was ripped from our body.   Place it deep in our bag and head back to the square to rendezvous with everyone and maybe take over singing so Sweetie can have a rest.   Tell her that if she doesn't get out of town in about half an hour things are going to get very looney and she will get caught between a rock and a hard place. Put some extra emphasis on loony.   Yeah, but we can test it when we're with everyone.   We don't want them doing stupid things on their own. Fucking Scootaloo...   We're walking on thin ice as it is. If Luna has to blast a giant stone bird to bits, she's going to definitely bring us in for questioning.   >You call out as the griffin starts taking her leave. "Hey, Sally... I think it'd be smart to get out of town. Never know if... well, you know, someone else knows about what we know about. Like the Princess, for example."   >Sally doesn't turn back around, but you can see her nodding her head. "You never can be sure of these things anymore, can you?" A small bag drops out of her costume and hits the street with a jingle. She heads straight for her stage.   >Rarity looks over to you and toward the bag of coins. "...what did you say? How did you do that, Raisin?" Rarity is genuinely impressed. You can hear someone approach from behind the tree.   >"Do you know of the Castle in the Sand?"   FUCK   The box is in our bags, right? Just say no and walk out to the populated area.   Put a hoof to our mouth and start singing. Motion for Rarity to grab the bag of coins and follow us.   Ah. Well that doesn't help us here.   Rarity might be okay for a while if we use hers....   But Treasure Seeker probably won't willingly let us plug his ears.   Which is why we sing, lead her to the town square, get Rarity to go get he others, and wait for Luna to show up/our friends to get back.   I'm not sure that helped last time.   This one is... different.   But we can try.   Sing the song.   See how he reacts.   >You think quickly. Turning to face the Treasure Seeker, you do your best to cover up the Adanemzurai. She turns her head as you move, but her gaze soon turns toward Rarity. The derped unicorn walks up to Rarity and lowers her head, staring at the chains around her neck.   >"Oh.. umm... yes... do you like them?" Rarity recoils, trying to regain her personal space. She clears her throat. "Pardon me, do you mind?"   >You start humming the song. The Treasure Seeker melts into a stupor. Tranced, she shuts her eyes and listens to the sweet melody escape your lips. Rarity is utterly confused. She looks toward you, to the bag of coins in the alley, to the Adanemzurai, then up to the swaying unicorn that you're singing to. She shakes her head, then glowers. "...okay. That's it. I can't do this anymore." She stands up, yanking some gold out of the tree. "IF YOU NEED ME, I'LL BE AT MY BOUTIQUE NOT BEING WEIRD." Rarity walks off, carrying a stack of golden treasure on her back.   >The afternoon sun hangs above your head. Luna is expected at any moment now, you figure.   Go to the alley and use our hoof to push the bag of coins somewhere out of sight so we can come back for them later. Go the the town square and wait for Luna.     Thank God we started singing.   Well, perhaps it's best if we just let her go. Keep singing until we put the box in our bag and head out to meet up with Sweetie.   Keep singing and try to find Sweetie Belle.   Do we have enough space in our bag?   I still think we should go for the goldsmith idea now that we have the dosh.     Yeah, we shouldn't waste this opportunity.   Question is, should we run this by Sweetie so she knows she'll need to stall Luna a bit, or do we not waste time and heat to a goldsmith directly?   >You decide to let the confused unicorn head on back to her house. Obviously, your current actions make little to no sense to any of the ponies, so it's reasonable that she's fed up with your weirdness.   >You continue to sing the melody and keep the Treasure Seeker under it's hypnotic spell. You reach for the Adanemzurai to put it in your bags, but you realize that you have no room in your bags to hold another item.   >Current Inventory: Raisin: CMC Cape, Boots, Hayseed, Stompstarter, Rocks, Vial of Glittering Sand   Can we balance the box on our back?   Dump the rocks, put the Adanemzurai in the saddlebags, and just carry the money bag in our mouth.   Hum the tune loudly.   Bad idea. Jr'd probably make it like, fall off, open on its own, and suck someone's soul out.   Alright, have we ever used the stompstarter in this quest?   I nominate leaving it, but put it somewhere we'll remember it. Also, how much space does money take up?   >GAME INFO: Money would take up a single slot in your backpack.   The moment there's a break in the song, the treasure seeker will break out of trance and go berserk when she sees it.   I say swap it with the stompstarter. We've used every other item except for that.   Hmm. Well, I mean, we could set hayseed down.   We can get her later, but we load upon death, and I don't think we should hug her at all, because of the whole Royalty thing.   As much as I hate to say it, that does make sense. Things have the potential to go either very smoothly or very badly.   Just to be clear, Hayseed doesn't need to be with us when we die to reload, right?   We need her to save and you best believe Jr will do his best to never let us see her again if we set her down.   Fuck no. Do NOT drop the stompstarter.   OH JUST FORGET THE COINS DUMP THE ROCKS AND TAKE THE BOX   Drop rocks, hide coins, take box.   We may need it eventually, you never know. Rocks are easily replaceable.   Why forget the coins? If we have some actual funds we can get some proper tools and the like and not have to rely on whatever we scavenge from our house.   We got this. We had this quest in the bag until we fucked it up and got Pinkie killed. If we just shattered the phonograph with our rock, I bet we would have won.   >Without a second thought, you decide that the Rocks aren't really all that rare. You fish them out of your bags and dump them on the ground, all the while singing your alluring melody to your tranced audience. Quickly, you fill the empty back with the Adanemzurai. It barely fits, but fits well enough to be hidden from view.   >With the Adanemzurai safely in your bags, you look back toward the Town Square. Rarity is taking the long way home, avoiding a majority of the crowd. Their eyes quickly snap to see the hoard of treasure on her back. You move toward the town square, kicking the bag of coins behind a garbage can. You figure that garbage day isn't for a few more days; you can fetch it tomorrow morning when this is all over.   >As you head into town, you just catch of glimpse of Sally sneaking out from behind her stage. She turns her head and meets your eyes one last time. Without a gesture, she turns her eyes to the road and walks off. She's not wearing her usually eccentric gettup; nobody even notices her leave.   >The town square is still bustling, but you do not see your friends anywhere. You keep your eyes to the sky, waiting for the Princess to arrive.   Start walking in the general direction of Sugarcube Corner while singing, rush back to the town square if when we see a chariot.   Go to Sugarcube Corner with treasure seeker in tow.   I'm going to have to agree. If we wait, then nobody will be singing while we talk with Luna, which will bring the treasure seeker out of her trance.   Damn, if only we swapped for those marshmallows.   >You keep up your chipper melody, leading the Treasure Seeker back towards Sugarcube Corner. You can see your dad looking out from his stall. He stares for a moment, then pretends to ignore you while adjusting a sign for the Grape Stall. As you continue, a small derped filly ends up joining your party. She seems awfully familiar.   >You soon find yourself outside of Sugarcube Corner. You notice that Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo are just standing around. The fillies aren't in sight. Scootaloo buzzes over to you, waving her hooves.   >"RAISIN! WhileWeWereWaitingForYouTheFilliesAllRanOffForSomeReasonBecauseIThinkTheyDidn'tLikeTheSongOrSometh-& quot; She continues on.   >Pinkie bounces out of the bakery. "..Oh? Hey, where'd they all go?" She looks about.   >Sweetie Belle looks really sorry. "Uhm... they're going to be okay, right?   FUCK. Tell Scootaloo to have some jelly because she's been such a good friend lately.   Tell Pinkie and Scootaloo to keep quiet while we and Sweetie sing as loud as we can while still keeping the tone. Maybe move west towards the mountains if they're making their way there.   Do it fast, I really don't want any casualties.   Well then let's plug up the unicorn's ears and the fillies ears.   Ask Scootaloo if she tried singing to them.   Plug treasure seeker and the filly we have with us then, then go hunting.   NEW PLAN: NEVER TRY TO MULTITASK EVER AGAIN   Tell Scootaloo to eat some jam.   >You ask Scootaloo if she tried singing to them. She has a beaming smile. "WellYeahOfCourseSweetieBelleWasGettingREALLYTiredSoITookOv-" You put a hoof on her mouth.   >You ask Sweetie Belle for her bag of Marshmallows. She smiles. "Um... okay! We brought that bucket of grapes over to snack on as well..." You tear into the bag and start inserting Marshmallows into the ears of the derped unicorns. There's only two with you at the moment.   >You plug up the Treasure Seeker. Her eyes start to focus. Immediately, she jumps back with a certain fear in her eyes. "WHERE AM I?! WHY CAN'T I HEAR ANYTHING?!"   >Pinkie bounces up to the mare. "You're in Ponyville, silly! Took you long enough to find out you're somewhere where you weren't!" Pinkie smiles.   >"WHAT?! ARE YOU TALKING? AM I DEAF?! WH..." She reaches for her ears, but you stop her from pulling the marshmallows out. The pony is very scared. You pop a set of Marshmallows in the other fillies ears. She snaps out of her trance, then looks about. "Uh... what... WHAT'S GOING ON? WHY AM I IN PONYVILLE?" She's pretty calm.   >You encourage Scootaloo to eat some jam. "BLEEECH! PinkieAlreadyGaveMeSomeAndItWasNASTY" Pinkie glowers at Scoots.   Loudly explain that both of them were put under a spell after drinking the elixir that a gryphon was selling. Tell them that they will be fine as long as they keep their ears plugged for a day or two. Ask Pinkie to keep them safe and ask Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo to find the ponies and plug up their ears as they find them. Let's return to the square and hope we haven't kept Luna waiting too long.   Ask the cakes for a pen and paper. It may be easier to just write to them.   Try to reassure them they'll be okay if they keep the marshmallows in their ears.   Also don't forget about Rarity. We don't want to let her run off again.   Try to project and tell them that Sally's elixir was spiked and that they're getting better. However, they need to calm down.   After that, run westward singing as loud as we can. Tell Pinkie that she can search to, but she just needs to bring them back. If Sweetie Belle can sing, she can help, but at least ask her in which direction they wandered off if she's too tired.   Tell Pinkie to keep a watch on them so they don't remove their earplugs and go searching. We don't let anyone die.   >You shout to the two that they were poisoned by Sally's Elixir. They recoil in shock. "ARE YOU SERIOUS? SHE'S BEEN CAUGHT, RIGHT?!" The Treasure Seeker pony looks appalled.   >You tell them that the Marshmallows in the ears are the only cure you know of. If they want to get better, they need to keep them in their ears for at least 2 days. Pinkie nods in approval. "Or at least until Raisin breaks the Crystal Phonograph again!" The other ponies look at her funny. She just gives them a cute smile and trots back toward the bakery.   >The unicorns seem rather calm. You're certain the others are probably wandering around in town again. As you ponder how you'll recollect them, you hear a blast of trumpets from the Town Square. Sweetie Belle looks up. "Oh! That must be..." She yawns. "That's the Princess, I bet."   Tell her to give Scootaloo the bag of marshmallows and tell Scootaloo to find the derped fillies, plug their ears, and lead them back to Sugar Cube Corner. Tell her that if she doesn't they will wander into the forest and get eaten. Let's go meet the princess.   Fuck this. We need to find the fillies before they wander off any further. Luna be damned.   But we have extra party members that can do that for us.   Anyway, reassure the Unicorns, they'll be fine if they keep the marshmallows in.   Head out and while delivering the box, make sure you mention to her that there's a group of fillies headed [insert direction toward the castle here], and they'll be hurt or worse if they can't be found.   Some her her guard should be able to help find the corral them. Teach them the song to get the fillies to follow them.   No matter what we do, it always seems terrible.   Why Jr, why?   As much as I hate to say it, we have the best chance of finding the lost ones by air. Let's go meet with Luna. We have to be sure to mention that there are derped fillies that wandered off and that they need to be caught before they wander into the monster filled forest at the edge of town   >You tell the others that you're going to meet up with the Princess and see what she has to say. You ask Pinkie and Scootaloo to keep their eyes open for the other fillies that wandered off; they must be found. "A-Ok, Raisin!" Pinkie gives you a little salute as she starts prowling around, keeping her nose to the ground. Scoots buzzes about, holding a hoof above her brow. Sweetie Belle shrugs. "I'm gonna tag along with you, okay?"   >You tell Sweetie to watch the two 'recovering' unicorns. Sweetie looks kind of bummed, but nods. "Okay..."   >Quickly, you make your way back into the Town Square. You are met with the royal visage of a rather tired looking Luna. You start to wonder why Celestia didn't come herself; her sister has probably been up all night. Luna's voice booms over the market.   >"Citizens of Ponyville! We have come to meet with a young filly named 'Raisin'! Is she in town?" The atmosphere of the market is completely broken by her incredible volume. You wander up the street. Luna holds up a small photo, blinks a few times, then looks back up to you. "Raisin! Come! We have much to discuss!" Your dad looks down at you, then up to the Princess. He shakes his head, then goes back to bowing to her majesty.   >Luna steps down from her royal chariot. She directs you toward the Town Hall. A small platoon of guards stand outside the door as the Princess rushes you inside.   >"Raisin... our loyal subject... now that we're in private, I must ask... Do you know where the Adanemzurai is located?" Her tone is much softer. "It's crucial that we secure it at the Royal Archives in Canterlot. It's the only way we can stop something terrible from happening."   Tell her we know where to find it and ask if it would be possible to use it as a weapon against the threat if we managed to open it and replace what is inside it.     "First I want to know just what an 'Adanemzurai' is. What does it do?"   Nod and produce the box from your satchel. Keep it close.   "Princess, what is this, Exactly? How does it take over ponies minds?"   Yes, but we need her help first. A group of fillies is under some sort of spell and are making their way to the forest. If they're not stopped by her guards now, then they'll most certainly meet with a horrible fate   this should take precedence over all else. Tell her that there are 9 that you know of, possibly more. They don't respond well to anything other than asking if you've been to some "Castle in the Sand" or something crazy.   Be insistent. We do NOT want any deaths. Tell her that we can discuss things once her guards have been sent to round them up.   >You tell Luna that there is a group of fillies wandering around the town that have been put under some sort of spell. You think it might be related to the Adanemzurai.   >"Fillies? Under a spell? Can you elaborate?" She looks at you with grim concern.   >You explain that the fillies don't seem to respond to anything other than some 'Castle in the Sand' nonsense.   >"Siren Sand... this is definitely Tezel's doing." Luna responds immediately. "Don't worry; I'll take care of this immediately." She leans her muzzle up with a scowl. "Wedge! Vicks!"   >Two guards come dashing in. Luna barks an order out. "Round up all of the fillies and foals in town at once! Time is of the essence!" They dart out of the door.   >Luna lowers her volume again. "They'll be safe under the watch of my guards. It is critical that we find that Golden Box. Do you know where it is, Raisin?" Luna presses. "Where can we find the one you called 'Sally'?"   Alright, I guess this is it.   Give her the box, tell her that Sally skipped town not long after you swiped it and you don't know where she is.   As that you and your friends be given free movement bout the town, since you're obviously not under the influence of the spell.   This. Tell her that only unicorns are affected that it might be Siren Sand that has done it to them.   Also, tell her that something's in the box, but it seems locked. Maybe she could try opening it.   Yeah, maybe giving away the box won't be so bad if we destroy the granite bit first.   >You decide to hoof over the Adanemzurai to the inquisitive Princess. You tell her that you found it up in a tree outside of town and that Sally may have stowed it up there for safe keeping.   >Very carefully, Luna lifts the box out of your grasp. "This... this is it. This is the Adanemzurai. Well done, Raisin... you found it." She carefully sets it down on the floor.   >"So... I was wondering... what does this thing do, anyhow? I couldn't open it-"   >"NEVER. Never open this box. I'm glad you didn't try to." Luna looks down at it again. "The Adanemzurai is a dark, cursed item that forces ponies under the influence of the box's owner."   >You continue with your questioning. "So Tezel owns the box, correct?"   >Luna shakes her head. "No. The owner of the box is whoever is inside of the box, part of the box..." She looks at your confused expression and continues. "...which could be any part of the pony that's trying to use the box. Hair, eyelashes, hoof chips..." Luna taps it, hearing the rattling stone inside. "...which, from the sounds of it, Tezel put something in here already..."   >You ponder another question to ask the Princess. You can hear a bunch of fillies outside of the door now.   I KNEW IT   WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY   Anyways, I really don't mean to sound annoying, but I still say we should try and recruit her to our cause.   >Leth was right   YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE HOW RUSTLED MY JIMMIES ARE RIGHT NOW.   Ask her if King Tezel would need to open the box in order to activate a giant stone alicorn he was forced a bunch of abducted Unicorns to build. Tell her we are certain we could resist the boxes effects if we opened it upside down just long enough for whatever is inside to fall out if she shut it for us.   I HAVE AN IDEA,   WHY DON'T WE PUT A LOCK OF MY HAIR IN THERE AND GIVE IT TO TEZEL?   BOY, HE'LL BE IN FOR A SURPRISE IF HE OPENS IT   And with that, our victory method was lost.   I'm half tempted to just drown ourselves so we restart.   >"How would you even be able to open it without setting it off? Wouldn't Tezel be trapped in the box if he opened it?"   >Luna nods her head. "He would be... unless he's got the right key." She flips the Adanemzurai over very slowly, exposing the underside to you. "In this 'Castle' that Tezel has made his residence in, there should be a few pedestals that will accept this connection... pending he didn't destroy them all." She sets the box back down. "But that doesn't matter. With the box in hoof, Tezel is nearly powerless."   >"Is there a way to defeat Tezel? Like, for good? Some sort of weakness?"   >Luna carefully picks up the Adanemzurai, heading toward a massive chest in the middle of the room. It's covered in royal symbols. "Tezel cannot be defeated... as far as we know. That's why he was simply banished from Equestria." She tucks the Adanemzurai into the chest. "He can be tossed, smashed, crushed, and blown to pieces... but he just keeps getting back up. Granted, much smaller, but over time, he regains his giant form. We do not know how to stop him once and for all." She smiles. "But, without the Adanemzurai, he cannot remotely control any of his abominable creations! This will keep him from forming an army under his command!" Luna nods to you. "You've saved Equestria, loyal citizen."   >You can hear the clamoring of young fillies outside.   Tell Luna that we have an idea to defeat Tezel using the box, but ask if she could wait while we check on the noise outside.   "Not yet I haven't."   ask her about the missing piece of Tezel's crown   >Implying an end   Are you serious?   He has a fucking stone bird (god knows what else) and countless unicorns trapped.   Alright, let her go so we can get back to the real quest.   But, Princess, he still has all those ponies under the effects of the Siren Sand!   "Hey, wait a second, if he's a big rock can't you just blow him up with a bomb or something?"   We did, but I'm not sure how we could go about explaining how we know so much   No, that would be too meta.   I say ask Luna to give us and our friends permission to travel freely and just let her take the box away.   But we need the box to get a best end. I'm in favor of tipping our hand a little bit. If Pinkie can break physics, why can't we know thing to be true?   First things first though, tell her that we might want to check on the commotion outside.   >Quickly, you try to get one more question in before she packs up and leaves. "Princess... I saw a notch in Tezel's crown that Golden Box would fit perfectly into."   >Luna stops. "...you 'saw' Tezel's crown?"   >you need to come up with something quick if you wish to continue gathering information for this question. Otherwise, you can choose to back down.   "Sometimes I see things. I don't get it but they are almost always true. Tezel can still control his stone creations without that box, but he does need it to activate his current creation. If he doesn't get the box he may go berserk and kill and the Unicorns he currently has under his control."   "I didn't exactly "see" it, per say... That griffon we mentioned? We overheard her talking about there being some big notch in Tezel's crown that looked like it would fit something around the size of the box in it."   So how do you think Luna would react if we told her how we really have seen him.   "I saw a picture of him in an old book and thought it was a bit suspicious. This town's library is pretty extensive"   *shiftyeyes*   Don't get too meta. I want to get back to the exciting bits.   Why?     >We're enlisted into the Royal special forces >They don't allow childish things like dolls.   Because this opens a whole new can of worms. There's a difference between having second chances and abusing it.   Hey, the game's rules were made with the intention of being abused as much as possible.   It wouldn't be possible to win otherwise.   It opens up a whole new direction for future Raisin Quests   Bad ones. We don't need everyone knowing our name and treating us special just because we're psychic.   >"Sometimes I see things. I don't get it but they are almost always true. Tezel can still control his stone creations without that box, but he does need it to activate his current creation. If he doesn't get the box he may go berserk and kill and the Unicorns he currently has under his control."   >Luna looks you over. "...you cannot possibly have the gift of foresight... not at such a young age..." Luna stamps her hoof on the floor. The giant box begins to float. "Tezel has never worn a crown nor a distinguishing mark of royalty, of that I'm certain. Whatever visions you are having are not of the future."   >Luna lowers her head to you. "Regardless, you have done an incredible service to your kingdom this day. Again, Raisin, you have saved Equestria from mortal peril. If there is ever anything you desire, feel free to voice your requests through Twilight... when she's found, of course." The Princess looks at you with some concern. "There has been a lot of missing unicorns lately."   >As the doors open up, a small rush of fillies and colts come barging in, followed by guards. "Vicks, keep these children safe until we return with the counter-curse to Siren Sand." The silent guard nods his head.   >You're now in a small sea of fillies and foals. "What's going on? Why are we here?"   Ask for special permission for us and our friends to move freely.     Tell Luna that she has to listen to us. Twilight Sparkle the others WILL be killed by King Tezel if she doesn't. Ask her how we could have possibly defeated the dragon Cilipharus if we didn't have foresight.   Alright. Thinking ahead. How do we intend to defeat a being even the immortal goddesses dont know how to defeat?   And to add on to this, tell her that if she sends some pegasi ahead to scout they will see a large stone bird and a lot of Unicorns carving a gigantic stone alicorn out of the rock. Call in the request she just gave us if we have too.     I don't know, but it's possible.   Unless the only victory method was using the box to possess the Numidium and crushing Tezel.   Jr, can you at least be kind enough to tell us if the box is absolutely necessary? Just yes or no.   >Just yes or no.   That's a hint and would cost a life. Let's not take a hint.   Yeah, tell her that he already has several unicorns at his beck and command, including Twilight, and they're hard at work carving him a new weapon   If Raisin ends up having to sacrifice herself, then I say we commit suicide.   Victory would not be worth it if she dies.     Yell that Twilight Sparkle and all the others will be trampled to death if she takes the box and doesn't believe us. Tell her that we can prove our visions are true.   Invite her to come along, even though that would be easymode and completely kill the quest.   Convince her to stay for a spell. Tell her EVERYTHING we know. The phonograph, the unicorns, the new weapon, everything. Fuck metagaming, honesty's never failed us in the past.   >even though that would be easymode and completely kill the quest. Not really. At most she could just serve as a source of information and maybe advice. She still is royalty, remember, and I highly doubt those guards of hers are going to let her just waltz in to a potentially lethal castle and die there.   Bitch, the guards serve her. They can act as meatshield while she turns us all invisible so we can shake our ass in Tezel's face.   >You shout above the noise of the fillies. "Princess! Wait! I really CAN see into the future! I can prove it!"   >She stops before she gets to her chariot. "...go on, then."   >You tell Luna that there is a gigantic stone pony being carved out of a mountain by Tezel as you speak. He's using all of the missing unicorns as slaves to carry out his work. A pegasus could easily confirm this.   >"Oh! Don't forget about the Crystal Phonograph!" The Princess stares down at a small, pink fluffy mane. Pinkie squeaks and slinks out of the Town Hall.   >Luna is reluctant, but decides to entertain your 'visions'. "Alright, loyal servant." She nods to one of her guards. In an instant, he bolts to the sky.   >While he goes to confirm what you've seen, you go on to explain some of the other things you saw at Tezel's fortress, including some of the random stone statues he has guarding the place. You also describe the stone bird. Luna maintains a certain callous expression.   >The pegasus returns. "Your Highness... I tried flying over the mountain ranges, but a giant stone bird is watching over them. I could not get close." Luna looks at you in disbelief.   >"Perhaps you do have the gift of foresight..."     END OF DAY 11
