Again. >These vivid dreams once were your passion, but last time you had something like this one was about 4 months ago. >They just left you, you started to do something wrong and failed. At least you thought so, but now, sitting on the bed at 2AM, you consider if it was you to throw not accepting it. >Though you can't even remember what you just experienced, you feel your chest getting heavier with memories rushing through your mind. It feels like so much time had passed now. Total confusion, head begins getting heavier too, you lay back to get some sleep, going to think about it tomorrow morning. >... >You're sitting bench near your home, looking at the night sky. That's what you do, when you lie awake in your bed for an hour, unable to fall asleep. Choosing an album for this night, you go out with a cup of tea, sit down, make yourself comfortable, and allow fresh air, night sky and favorite music fill you. That's what you usually do. >Though usually it's a bit colder. And sky not so clear. "Rainbow did good with clouds today" you mumble. >Strange feeling >Last time you had thoughts like this months ago. You just liked to notice some changes in the weather, connecting it with Dash. So you pretended the was real. Even believed for a while... >Next thought hit you even harder. Considering everything you feel, you remember a dream you had not so long ago. You we're going to sleep. Now you're doing what you're doing when you don't sleep. But there wasn't anything in between. >It's getting harder to breathe. But you ain't gonna loose control now. >You stand up just to sit back when a voice from left strikes you: >"Cmon Anon, you know I can clear sky in my sleep." said a rainbow maned pegasus, sitting next to you with a huge grin. >Experiencing all possible emotions in the world with a cold sweat on you back, you can't contain a small laugh after her stupid joke. "Hello Rainbow, I missed you and these dreams" you said with a warm smile >"Yeah, sure" she waved away with a hoof with a mere second frown. "Look, I understand that you would like to know why we haven't met for so long..." you started, but she interrupts you: >"Anon, don't" "Dash, do you know how much it takes to have dreams like this? And not only an amount of effort matters, I was daydreaming through a day, while dreaming nights with you. I would prefer you to an any life, but to dream about you, I need life at first, which I was unable put together." >What you said was something you never thought about. You had excuses for your self long ago. Earlier tonight you considered that it was you who gave up for the first time. And now, looking at her, you just spilled all the truth for both of you. What a great way to start conversation after all this time. >"I know. But after you abandoned me, I hadn't..." "A-Aban..." >"Anon, I said - don't. Yes, I was left alone. Left nowhere and..." "How could you be alive outside my dream?" >"Are you dreaming now?" "Yes." >"Who are you talking to right now? Yourself?" "Actually..." >"And can you tell me, why do you have such dream second time in a single night, since first one failed. Was it your  'effort'?" "No." >"Look, I'm not mad at you, ok? I understand what you've told me about life and whatever, that why I said "don't". But now I need you to realize how much I understood, and where are we now." "..." >"It's not your dream, I suppose" "You suppose? Dash, I don't think you can possibly know something about somnology at first pl..." >"Shut up." "Sorry, please continue" >"This dream is ours. Like, mutual. And sorry" "Wh.." >You see her hoof in a blur flying in you face. >You woke up, 7:52 in the morning, minutes before alarm. You feel like you had a good sleep after all, but your thoughts are mess. Endless confusion. You sigh and start to get up. >"I haven't finished, I think same applies to our life, at least our consciousnesses, if it's possible to say so..." >Cold sweat. This time really cold, making you feel uncomfortable enough. Though for a moment you considered still being dreaming, this time you knew you were awake. You looked around, trying to find voice source, but couldn't. >"Looking for something?" a familiar voice came from right. >You looked there to see empty space on a bed. "Rainbow, what's going on, am I still dreaming?" >"No, WE are not dreaming, and you can stop staring so dumb at me, minutes ago you were fine" >Your were gazing at a voice source, but still looking at nothing. "That's it, I'm crazy now. I'm speaking to fucking nothing, which have a voice of a pony from a cartoon." you say out loud to the whole room, but mostly to yourself. >"Nothing?" came a voice from the same spot, following with a hit in your forehead. It felt like rather taut than hard though. >"Next time it will be a hoof. So who are you calling nothing here, you fool?" >Any other time you would stop your train of thought and tried to rationalize what just happened, but since you have someone who you hear and feel, you decided to proceed conversation, implying you really are talking to Rainbow Dash right now. "Rainbow, if it's you, I can't see you. I hear you, and felt your strike, but I can't see any source and that is creepy." >Silence. You can feel a pressure of air in your ears, maybe because you were concentrating to hard getting ready to get reply. But there wasn't one. You were sitting alone in your room. Waiting for a pony to answer you. That's stupid. Maybe your imagination on fire after such a vivid dream, and there is no... >*Alarm sound* >Scared to death, you started nervously seeking for your phone, lost somewhere under pillows. 8:00AM. With a sigh, you got up, going to bathroom. >"Anon, wait please." >You felt every possible waves fluctuation of her voice in your left ear this time. For a moment, you thought you felt warmth of her breathe, since voice source was really close to you. Unable to rationalize your life again, you decided to act casual, pretending you're not loosing control of your life. "Sure, Dash, what is it?" >"Can you feel this?" told calm voice, following this time with a gentle stroke feeling on your left arm. "Yes" you said silently, having no air in your lungs >"Do you want to see me?" "Yes" >"Then we will talk about it later. I didn't think about it, sorry for scaring, and being mad at you. Now go and do what you have to, you still have a life to live. See you later" >You were sure you heard wings flopped, window opened and closed behind you, but turning around you saw no visual signs of that, like curtain moved away. But something really happened here, and since you were willing to know what, best you can do now is to go and live this day through to an evening.   2   >You never were paying all of your attention to studies, though always being able to catch up. But time passed by so fast for you, that going home you couldn't remember hearing a single word other than while having morning conversation. >So after leaving home, you started with reconsidering everything you remember starting with a first "Flash" dream. Once it was kind of a key or a ritual. At night, with mind slowly drifting away, you imagined yourself sitting in some park doing nothing but looking in the sky. You were waiting for a Sonic Rainboom. >Some times it happened, but more often not and you just ended up with waking up in the morning, remembering some usual dreams, if there were any. This dream was usual one, like every you had last 4 months. And you definitely weren't expecting anything. >But mostly problem with putting everything together was in your second dream. Sure, hearing her voice while being awake is the most strange thing about everything, but for you somehow it connects with her unexpected appearance. >As her, she looked nervous at first, but then she were very confident, especially before hitting you to wake. Though all her confidence disappeared after you told you couldn't see her. Voice following after that statement was a little scared and filled with guilt enough for you, to understand  during studies, she looked and sounded a little guilty from the beginning. >Maybe it was good that you both were sharing this feeling. You don't know her reasons, but yours were more serious, than her any possible ones. Thought you can't be sure untill you'll ask her about last 4 months. >There also were some feelings you were unable to sort out. Something about life in general, but you preferred to pay no attention to it. Your home was already in sight, when you heard a playful voice speaking: >"If you're ready to talk, I would like to do it outside!"   >It was rather ultimatum than a preference you heard in her  sharp and confident voice. Though words she chose showed she cosidered situation's oddness. "So let me guess, you were nearby all the time?" >"Nah, just saw you from up here" she answered without skipping a beat. >That statement followed with another bunch of querstions for you, but you didn't want to ask them outside. "Lead the way then" you replied with a smirk. "Should be easier 'from up here'" >"Sure it is. I bet I already know our neighborhood better than you" >That was the moment you were finally sure she was teasing you, provoking questions, that required you to talk more, than you wanted under such circumstances. "Ok Dash, what is your plan. I don't want to speak out loud in public and I also think you knew it" >"Oh, I've got better idea" >You felt excitement in her voice "Fine, just tell me where to turn when it's time" >"No need. Head forward where you were going" "Home?" >"Yep" >You didn't need to see her, her mischievous grin occupied your mind. You wondered if it was her plan all along. Though she always was that irritating, when only she knew something that one needed to know too.   "Rainbow, I think if you still want to go for a walk I need to turn now" >"Actually I only said 'outside'. See you on the roof!" >Crazy mare. You wanted to object, but you were sure she flew away the second she said her last word. Actually you came up with idea how to check if she still was there. "Yeah, sure you don't need to climb your fat ass eleven floors up with me, why bother" >You were alone. Once again, you considered everything about last 12 hours. After 10th floor, you once again decided to let whatever is happening to your life happen without your interference. Especially, when it's something once you were obsessed with. "Rainbow Dash" you said out loud, looking for a place to sit down. >"I'm here Anon" >You realised you said her name out loud. Though fast enough you came up with another idea, this time considering she is nearby" "Rainbow Dash, are you here?" >"Are you deaf? Right side, you fool" >You resisted an urge to turn your head anywhere, even left, continuing staring blankly in previous direction. >"Eh...Anon?" she said with much more soft voice, also being more close to your position. >You felt something. Something you were waiting for. Catching her hoof, you gently locked her in your arms. Thanks to your practices long time ago, instinctively you held her with enough tension to feel her body, but not to let your arms pass through. Though you weren't sure about last part, you didn't want to find out. "Got you"   >"You know that I will hit you hard, don't you?" "No, you won't" >"Why is that?" "Because I'm not going to hurt myself" you said, erupting with laughter >Not because joke was any good, but because you finally found a way to her annoy  back. That was obvious when you heard her angry breathing followed with some motion between you and your arms. "Just kidding, Dash" you said smiling. >"What took so long?" she asked angrily, almost wheezing. >Once again, you didn't need to see her to feel her scowl. But it didn't stop you acting like an idiot. "Oh, I think next time you should just lift me by yourself" you replied with a pleased smile. >"You won't survive this. We're on the roof, and I'm the only one with wings here" "Yep, that's why you won't hit me. The way I hold you gives you access to my face only, and I think you don't want one of my eyes to miss spectacular you've got here for me" >"Huh?" "Were are here not to talk. Though, this place fits perfectly for this, while there is nobody around, home is not any worse. But there is also something we always did at home, that is not possible for you to do while I'm awake. But there you have everything you need. You have your sky, and I'm free to observe without being disturbed. That one element that started everything we ever had. Sonic Rainboom." >"I'm not sure about it, Anon" "You're kidding..." >"Wait, you are right, that was my plan all along, and I'll do it in a blink of an eye. But how can you see it if you can't see me?" "There's no any logical explanation to the last 12 hours of my life. Why should we expect it work now? And even if there is any, I really think that Sonic Rainboom is a quintessential representation of logic in this case. Besides, anyway you would try to outfight, being unable to outsmart, won't you?" >You could't resist an urge to say that last part. Then you felt something hard resisted your face.   >"I liked how you explained the reason I can't do this, but I can't cause you any injury. That's even beter, pain without actual hurt!" >At some point you expexted things to be like that, but you also considered a possibility of a real self-punch. That, and the distance between source of her last sound and you, made such impact enough unexpected for you to tilt. "Without actual hurt? It's roof, I can actually die!" >"Blah blah blah. I know I can cause unexpected attention loss, that's why I wasn't disturbing you all day! I know what I'm doing." "You said that you wasn't with me whole day." >"So?" >That question brought realisation that your questions and conclusions are pointless, until you hear her out. "We will talk about it later. Now I need you to tell me everything" >"What?" "Everything you know about what's happening" >"No" >Now you really needed to see her. Voice was still and usual. That was odd, since her usual voice was impossible to describe like still. "I need it! How am I supposed to think about you?" you raised your voice >"Hey, what do you mean?" she said with more expression. Clearly negative one. "Sorry Rainbow, but I need to understand how this works to get used to. How esle am I supposed to deal with something unreal?" >The moment after you regreted about last question. "Look, I didn't mean that, but..." >"I'm alive. I do not work like a thing. The faster you understand it, the faster you'll see me" she said with almost fully contained anger >Good thing she didn't touch 'get used to' and 'deal with' part.   >Next thought crashed your perception. You were not responding to a world around, while reconsidering your attitude. She thought therefore she were afterall. That doesn't explain everything, it still could be your mind. But it can be explained deeper for eternity, and without actual knowledge this is worthless theories, that, most likely, would be wrong. >What really matters is her point of wiev. She is alive. Somehow, for you, but undeniable for her. >You were deep in thought when she spoke again >"So... I guess we can start?" "No! I mean yes, but wait. I want to apologize. I treated you the way I never would under any other circumstances. I won't doubt your existence from now on" >You felt yourself like an idiot. But you couldn't put it in words like you wanted to, because there was too much. This acceptance washed away all the thoughts about her, but brought feelings. >"That was lame..." "I know, but it's hard for me to explain everything I am sorry for. It just hit me..." >"Then I think that's right direction, but the best way to show it would be to stop asking me questions about 'everything', starting with how I ended up in your dream." >Like she was going to answer. "Like.. I was going to" >Suspecting look she gave you reflected in your mind with a flash. Everyone would give you that look after your not very confident reply, but you know her good enough to be sure, that her look, you imagined, was a real one right now. "What?" >"If you weren't starting at nothing, I could believe that you see me. Never mind." >New realization hit you. "Listen Dash, I think we don't need to do what we were going to now. I have a better idea, which I will explain later. Can we go inside now?" >"Eh.. Ok?" "Great, I need to take care of my daily routine, so that I'll be able to give you full attention, which I'm sure will be required for our plans." >"I'll stay here for a while then." "As you wish, see you later, Dash" >"See you" she said warmly and you heard soft smile in her voice.   >Finally you were able to ignore tons of questions in your head and did everything you need faster than usual. It was 19:23 when you called her: "Rainbow?" >Silence. You were surprised a little, because it was impossible for you not to consider, that she wasn't real. And since she is sort of bound to you, you couldn't even imagine where she could be. >You went to the kitchen for a cup of tea *Rainbow Dash* >Last time you checked on him was 19:20. You were doing it every 20 minutes, looking in the window. You weren't going to tell him that, because it would give you hard time explaning how you did it with closed curtain. >Flying back, you saw a light turned on near his room. You flew closer to see him sitting there with a cup, looking in his phone. You used his room to enter. "Hey" you said smiling. >"Oh, I was wondering where you could be" he said seemingly concerned. "Flying, what else could you expect?" >You didn't want this conversation to continue. Things were hard to explain currently. >"You know, never mind. I would like to offer you some tea, but I don't know how. Is it even possible? " "Yeah, sure" >You picked his cup up with hooves and sipped. It was pretty strong black tea with shades of citrus. You were surprised. "I expected it to be green..." >"What? Did you try it already? " "Yep, and please, don't ask why is there still previous amont of it in a cup" >"Fine..." he said, with kind of annoyed frustration "Let me tell, you what we are going to do then" >You were more than happy to hear that, appreciating that he left his curiosity behind. "Thanks, let's do it" >He was deep in thought for a while.   *Anon* "So, at first I'm going to remove curtains in my room. Then I will go to sleep, and this is where you get involved. If I will be unable to force our meeting, you will have to wake me up, and I will try again and again. When it happens, you will preform Sonic Rainboom. And that's the most tricky part. Somehow I have to wake in my room perfectly right after you hit sound barrier. That latency after you hit it should win me some time to wake up and then hear it again the moment after, considering first time I will observe closer to the source. I hope this trick with a sound will help to do, what you tried yesterday. Before we met, I woke up cause of a bright flash and this moment most likely the root of all evil. That's my plan." >You took a breath. "We will discuss it again right before main event. Now I'm going to bathroom and then I'll try to fall asleep as fast as I can. Good night, Rainbow, I would stay with you a little longer, but I'm really looking forward to see you at least in a dream." >"See you later then" >In bathroom you cleared your thoughts to prevent their further development lying in bed, like you always did, mostly against your own will. >Lying down, you felt something. >"Dammit, look where.." "I'm sorry?" >"Oh, I should have warned you. I'm going to sleep here. Good night!" "Good night.." you mumbled and finally closed your eyes getting comfortable. >Thoughts are hard to control, when your consciousness slowly drifts away. If you think about how conscious you are, that also brings a feeling of presence in you bed. If you don't track it, you end up with endless train of thought, you might be even not interested in, or waking up recalling some dumb dream you had. >This time it was even harder. Every time you tried to control youself, you heard thin snoring. Though, knowing her it could be worse. >It was hard to resist thoughts about how wrong is it. It was not about curiosity, but your own sanity. Not that you were afraid of something, but you still couldn't decide how you feel about her. >Is she the one you can consider as Rainbow Dash. What can be considered as Rainbow Dash after all? Everything you know about Rainbow Dash is scripted. So that, if you call her a product of imagination, the way she 'programmed' is the way she were created and 'exists'. >But there is obviously more than that. She is conscious, sane and... >You stopped pacing to find yourself in front of your home. "She is alive." you stated out loud.   *Rainbow Dash* >He was going to discuss details later, but you new it would be better if your actions would be unexpected. You still couldn't tell him how things worked, so it was up to you to execute plan with necessary corrections. >Everyone knew your one particular habit - taking a nap every time it's possible. It wasn't that hard for you to control your dream, so that after you two went to sleep, you already were flying around outside. >That wasn't a good idea to use a place from ones memory, but for this particular task you decided it could work out. But you had to do everything before he woulde be able to understand. >"She is alive" you heard from below. "Dammit" you muttered to yourself >You had no time to check if he knew he was dreaming. You woke yourself up and tipped him a little. That should help to distored his thoughts a little. He mumbled something, good sign. >Flying outside, you found yourself a cloud above his last position in a dream. Falling alseep, you could only hope, that he still was dreaming here and wasn't aware about it.   *Anon* "She is alive" you stated out loud. >Then you felt something odd. Like you had something to do, but couldn't remember it. >You were about to check what time is it, when wild wind blew. You walk fast to house and then around it's corner to hide. You looked up at the sky. Lovely night. Than you saw familiar bench. >You sat down and saw that you were still holding your phone for some reason. "Silly me" you said with a smile, taking headphones from your pocket.   *Rainbow Dash* "Here you are" >He was sitting with that dumb smile of his, listening music, obviously unaware that he was dreaming. Headphones could be a problem though. It was he, who figured out importance of sound, so you had to make yourself heard without letting him know whats going on. >With a mischievous smile, you took nearest cloud and made and ice cube. You are a pegasus in a dream after all. 5kg should do it. >Your plan was to let it fall behind him, so that he will hear something loud crashed from behind. He always puts off his right headphone if he hears something unknown through music. And that would to be the moment you had to hit sound barrier, using cube's falling time for acceleration. "Easiest Rainboom in my life" you said with anticipating smile.   *Anon* >#...lifts us up from the dark, >The dawn, bringing light, bringing hope >We will re...# >#Crash sound behind# >Whith deep inhale you jumped up turning around. Headphones slipped away from you ears, since phone was lying near you. You saw something like a snow, but you recognized it being an ice under pressure. After falling, obviously. >You had no time to think about it, because next thing you saw was a bright flash above, bringing you realisation of whats happening. >You couldn't feel your body. Trying to stay conscious you followed rainbow colored line in the sky with your tunnel vision. You couldn't calculate sound travel time using actual rainboom epicenter. But it couldn't take more than a couple of seconds. >You barely managed to understand her direction, since perspectives are hard with tunnel vision. Obviously, you will see her from your window, but her speed required more precise ecpected spot where you should look, because you could just miss her from your field of viev. >Maybe you were thinking too much. Most likely, since sound still haven't reached yo.. >#Boom#   *Rainbow Dash* >That really was the easiest Sonic Rainboom, since you were in a dream. But that was the easiest part, you just imagined it to happen. Furthermore, he would have called next part impossible, if he knew what you were up to. >His idea about synchronized sound was great, but it also was a little offending, since he was expecting to see his dream continuing in his wake. The only thing he could find in that case is you, sleeping nearby. >That bothered you a lot. While it was just his global misunderstanding, you were expecting him to believe you. You knew he wanted it to be true, but even while it was actually happening with him, subconsciously he still couldn't believe. >Maybe you were thinking too much. Most likely, since you couldn't think slower flying that fast. Or falling that fast. >Another perk of your last mentioned habit is being able to wake up, analyse situation and rush lightning fast in mere seconds. You were going to hit sound barrier in another spot, but same for his perspective. Some kind of convertation of sound travel time to your acceleration plus reduced sound travel time. >Gathering speed from falling down, using altitude difference between, you started to pull up. That small arc cost you some speed, but you had to take certain direction. You were about half second late, but you remembered about his waking up lag and.. >#Boom#   *Anon* >You woke up having hard time forcing yourself to undertand what was going on. There was some weak blurry light comming from night sky in your window. "Dash?" you mumbled doubtfully, going closer to window. >You saw two cyan ears rising. You were stunned. Just standing still without any thoughts and visible reaction. But one particular thought always permanently occupied your mind on background, whenever you were thinking about Rainbow Dash. >Magically magnificent magenta eyes.   3 >#Alarm sound# >Your hand rushed to the phone but an obstacle. You opened your eyes half curious half frightened and froze. Not because of being surprised. >Recalling last night you were absolutely out of reality, until a hoof finally reached your chest. A hoof, you were looking at after opening your eyes, started it's way immediately after you touched a cyan wing under pool of colors. >"Wha..." she started to yell. >You mind still wasn't able to provide an actual reaction to what happened at that moment. >"You're gonna turn this off?" >Your carefully sent your hand above a pony lying nearby, finally teaching your phone and turning the alarm off. Continuing to stare, you put phone down and tried to say something, but failed. >Meantime, still lying half turned to you, Rainbow slowly started to put on a smile, seemingly nervous one. You also noticed her blushing. >"Anon? I think you need to get up." she said with a smile, that she called dumb, speaking about ypu lately. "Good morning, by the way" "Hi" >You worried it could came out cold and rude, but she proved you wrong, turning back and saying. >"Yeah, try to not wake me againg, I'm still sleeping." >Sitting and staring at her wings, you fought against desire to know how do they feel like if you touch them. >"Anon, move please, you need to go" said sleepy and slightly annoyed voice. >Still unable to produce any actual verbal response, you decided to concentrate on things you do before leaving home as hard as you can. So with a first breath of fresh air you started to recall last night.   *Rainbow Dash. 4 hours earlier* >Rising, you saw an expected reaction. He was standing still, looking at you like he was watching a movie and he didn't need to interact with anything in front of him, including you. >You knocked in the window next to you, with a questioning look. He rushed to the window and opened it looking nervous. "Hey." you said with a smile, after a deep breath. >"Hi" was everything you heard. >You tried your best not to be offended with such greeting, considering him probably having a hard time to analyse everything. >Finally landing on your hooves after your little race against sound, you took another deep breath to say: "Nice to see you" >Your best was enough to let him go with his last reply, but not without any actual reaction with him finally being able to see you. Also you were going to kill him, hearing something like "Same here". >"I know what are you thinking about" >That was too easy for you, you knew him too good. "If you think, that I will kill you, if you decide that answering "same here" is cool and also a great joke, since it's the first time you see me in your wake, you are right. But it's called common sense" >He was going to object, but you cut him instantly, before he could get a chance to anger you: "And if you were going to say something about my usual behavior, comparing to with the way I talk right now, but realised, that it's actually the way I talk when I'm worried or annoyed, I want you to know, that I would be offended by you implying first, which is the only case where you would try to object me in defence of your, I repeat, offending statement" >Another deep breath. "But since you didn't, I'm glad tha..." >"I'm sorry. I just can't find any way to justify myself being so lucky that the best and the least possible thing that could ever happed, results the most beautiful sight in front of me I could ever wish for." >You never heard him speaking about you in that way, so it was your turn stay silent while he was taking a breath. But he didn't continue.   *Anon. 4 hours later* >You couldn't remember what you wanted to say next, but you perfectly recalled sensation of her fur in your hands, when you descended on your knees, taking and slightly rising her right hoof, while putting other hand behind her neck. >It was hard to remember her face expression, thought you were looking straight in her eyes. It lasted almost a minute, as you remember it, but train of thought you had made it feel much longer. But still, you couldn't remember her reaction. >Luckily that didn't matter, because her hoof ended up being on your shoulder, when she said, that you two should get some sleep. >Funny thing was that you decided it would save you from doing or saying something wrong, since you'll be able to reconsider everything at the morning. But in the end, comming home, you found your idea pathetic, since two days in a row everything you managed in your thoughts is coming a full circle of incomprehention and futile analysis. "This is it" you said silently to yourself, opening a door. >You couldn't understand a lot, but you also couldn't let your efforts make her feel uncomfortable. The question was how to act usual in regard to the opposite of something usual. >Your train of thought was stopped by a quiet sound from bedroom, and you found yourself standing next to it's door. Curious, you entered to find a gently snoring pony. That sight cut your thoughts short, exept one quick realization that you'd better to seat down, since you won't be able to drew your attention away. >You moved a chair closer to your bed, and finally found yourself free from trying to explain or understand anything. Vacuum in your head made you relaxed, you watched her sleeping peacefully and everything else didn't matter at all. Cyan wings slightly expanded as she inhaled and became numb as she exhaled. >"Anon, that's creepy"   >Since you were staring at her back, you couldn't see her face. Started a little, you asked the dumbest question as the fastest reply you came up with. "You're awake?" >Regretting it, you added immediately: "I mean.. Good m..afternoon, how are you?" >As she turned to you, rainbow mane covered her cheek. With her half opened eyes it was an astounding sight. You were ashamed a little, since she could think you were looking at her ass, though that would be dirty from her, since you really weren't. But then you realized, that thinking about this you were still staring at her, giving every reason for such suspicion. >Her eyes, one visible eyebrow in particular, said that she was still waiting for any comments, not greetings. "I wasn't staring at your ass and now as I thought about this I regret it" >With only upper half of her body turned to you, it was hard to continue watching straight in her eyes. >"Ok..." she said slowly, narrowing her eyes. "I think.." >You felt it would be right thing to interrupt her before that predicament became more complicated. "Wait. Here is the truth, I came home, saw you sleeping, couldn't avert my eyes from you and sat down nearby. It took less than a minute before you woke up. And the only.." >This time she interrupted you: >"Oh my gosh, stop! First answer was way better. You're an idiot when you're nervous. What are you afraid of?" >Everything you didn't want to happen between two of you happened when you were trying to prevent any misunderstanding. "Guess it's my nature to behave so in the presence of..." you paused. >Something was telling you her questioning look was a fake. "Dash. Now that's you, who makes things complicated. Do you really want me to continue this conversation in the direction where it was going?" >"Why wouldn't I?" she answered with even more questioning look and this time not fake one. "Because in the very first minutes of being with you I don't find such discussion appropriate." >She raised a little, fully turning to you. >"Why not?"   >She sounded rather concerned than playful. "Some things require time" >"I had enough of it, and I don't think you can say something I don't know" "That doesn't mean I should be as straight as I feel" >She laughed. Eventually, she was faking all along. >"Does it mean you won't join me here as you normally do every friday?" "I will becau.." >"Oh gosh! Shut up and get over here! And I want to watch "Fast and furious"" >Standing up, you moved closer to her, put your palm on her cheek, moving that magnificent rainbow mane away. You looked straight in her eyes, asking: "So you think that I should obey every desire your eyes invoke inside of me. It's hard for me to contain myself, but you think I should let it go, not even knowing what kind of thoughts human mind can produce." >"You can't know what kind of thoughts could have a mare, who's existence possible just because one's thoughs. I know who am I and why I have an opportunity to be with someone, who feel about me in certain way, obviously good one, instead of nothing. You don't know anything at all, Anon, and I figured out not much, but I will tell you everything one day. Before that the only thing I can ask of you now... Just be... You're everything I have, while you're the only reason I exist. And I can assure you, I wouldn't be there, I wouldn't pass everything I had to break through, if I didn't want to be with you.." >You've heard enough to interrupt her: "Your existence is everything I could ever ask for" >Touching her muzzle with your nose, you continued: "But that doesn't mean you can't be yourself with me" >"You can't know everything about me" "I know pretty much about Rainbow Dash" >"You have information, so do I. If you think I would like you to proof something, you are wrong. I know where am I better than you. It was me, who decided you were worth of months of... I'm not a character, Anon. I can't put it in words, dunno if it's even possible. But I'm alive, I'm filled with joy, I want you to lie down, embrace me, watch this damned movie and drift away to sleep. I would never act and talk this way, but this situation is somehow related to "never" >She sighed, continuing: >"I don't want to push on you, but neither I want you to hold yourself back, considering lack of time spent together." >With last words she finally sat up. A bit messy mane was covering half of her face, but more existing was how it covered restrained nobel arc of her back. She noticed your inspecting look and smiled, unfolding her wings. "Let me set everything up" you smiled back, deciding that it would be the best for her to postpone this conversation.   4
