History[edit]

Wookiees originate from the outer plane of Kashyyyk, a lush forest plane. They have been repeatedly enslaved because of their excellent stamina and strength, but Wookiees are fierce warriors, and so far have not been successfully conquered.
Society[edit]

Wookiees are sophisticated and intelligent, and they live among the treetops of Kashyyyk. It isn't uncommon for a Wookiee to travel to the material plane, and they are often adventures due to their ancient magical and martial talents.
Wookie Names[edit]

Male: Chewbacca, Gungi, Lumpawaroo, Tarfful, Greybok
Female: Lohgarra, Malla, Kirratha, Roshyk, Hrrgn
Wookie Traits[edit]

Uuuuuuaaaaaaarrrghhhh!
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Strength score increases by 1.
Age. Wookiees can live up to 500 years, although some have survived to as old as 800.
Alignment. Wookiees can be of any alignment. They have no particular moral tendencies, although they are very violent.
Size. While Wookies stand far taller than any human, thier size is medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 25 feet.
Wookiee Endurance. You gain a +1 bonus to your maximum hit points now and each time you level up.
Wookiee Weapon Training. You are proficient with all crossbows.
Wookie Weapon Mastery. You ignore the loading property of crossbows.
Dislocate. As an action you can attempt to wrench a creature within 5 feet of you's limb out of it's socket. You make a Strength check which you are considered proficient in, contested by a Constitution save from the target. If you win, the target's limb is dislocated and they gain a penalty based on the limb, and they also take 1d12 Bludgeoning damage, or half as much and no dislocation if you fail. You may only attempt this on a Large or smaller creature.
Arm: The creature cannot carry or hold items using this arm, and they have disadvantage on Strength checks and saves. Also, they cannot make attack rolls using this arm.
Leg: The creature's movement speed is reduced by 10 (to a minimum of 5), and they have disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws.
Wing: The creature is unable to fly, and they have disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws.
You must finish a short or long rest before trying this again. At levels 6, 11, and 16, the damage caused by this feature increases by 1d12.

Languages. You can speak, understand, read and write Shiriiwook, the language of wookies. You may never speak any other language, but you can read, understand and write Common.
Subrace. There are 4 Wookiee subraces, based on the role you were trained for: Sage, Chief, Artificer and Warrior.
Sage[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Forest Magic. You know a Druid cantrip of your choosing, and at 3rd level you can cast a 1st-level Druid spell of your choice once, but you cannot do so again until you take a short or long rest.
Chief[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 1.
Leadership. You know a Bard cantrip of your choice, and when you reach 3rd level you can cast a 1st-level bard spell once, but you must finish a short or long rest before you do so again.
Artificer[edit]
Ability Score Increase. You gain a +1 bonus to your Intelligence score.
Arcane Magic. You know a Wizard cantrip of your choice, and when you reach 3rd level you can cast a 1st-level Wizard spell once, but you must finish a short or long rest before you do so again.
Warrior[edit]
Ability Score Increase. You gain a +1 bonus to your Dexterity score, and a +1 bonus to your Strength score in addition to the usual bonus, or a +2 bonus to your Dexterity score.
