- >The guard looks to another in shock.
- >The other keeps a stern gaze, but his face is riddled with horror.
- >A single beam stops the gaze forever, leaving the guard even more horrified.
- >He looks over the crashed chariot, to face the two sisters in battle…
- >You trod over the snow-covered landscape.
- >The mental image will not leave you.
- >It compels you to come.
- >You sprint over rocks, downed trees, and some animals.
- >Nothing can’t stop you.
- >Stop you idiot.
- >No, Chrysalis, I need to find what this is.
- >Are all humans this stupid?
- >More or less, yes.
- >You finally feel the snow to thin down, and you soon face a large purple barrier.
- >This must be Ponyville.
- >You put your hand up against the barrier, pushing through.
- >To your surprise, you pass seamlessly.
- >You fix your hood and walk down the familiar path.
- >Soon, you are by the orchard.
- >The apple trees.
- >You look around in wonder; the half of the orchard is outside of the barrier.
- >Even in the inside, you could still see some parts of the frozen.
- >The cold wind was still there.
- >The town, from the distance, seemed pretty deserted.
- >The once bright paints of the houses are peeling off.
- >You take a deep breath, until a certain sense hits you.
- >It will be Zap-Apple season soon.
- >You trot amongst the trees, each are is their own purple blanket.
- >And soon enough, you can see the Apple family farm.
- >Good to see your old home.
- >Now, what was that memory that prevented you from dashing madly into the town?
- >You feel an almost neck-snapping force on your cheek.
- >You stagger to the ground, balancing yourself with a hand.
- >”Ya’ll got ah lot of nerves showing yer backside again, Anon.” That voice.
- >Now you remember.
- >Applejack.
- >Before you can muster up a reply, the orange pony charges.
- >She turns half way through, letting her momentum fly her to you.
- >Then she rears her back legs.
- >This can’t be good.
- >Then you feel the clopping in your ear get slower.
- >The wind turns into a low-pitched growl.
- >Applejack is slowing down.
- >She still has her determined gaze on you.
- >She blinks.
- >Slowly.
- >Before her outstretched back hooves can connect to your face, you bring up your left arm.
- >You quickly catch her shin, turning the pony in her own momentum.
- >Then you let the energy continue, turning the pony into a semi-circle around you.
- >You then give a forcible stop in your swing, sending all of her innards sloshing forward.
- >Not missing a beat, you pull the pony through the semi-circle again, now backwards.
- >As you lower the swing, you kick up your left knee, connecting with her stomach.
- >Her eyes go agape in shock.
- >She falls in front of you, clutching her stomach.
- >You fix your jaws back in place with a satisfying crackle.
- >”Now I got you to stop, let’s talk.”
- >Applejack stares at you, before nudging her hat.
- >A small whistle comes out, and she blows it.
- >In an instant, the six all-too-familiar mares materialize in front of you.
- >Well, shit.
- >”Back off, Anon.” Twilight orders you.
- >”You got a lot of nerves, Anon.”
- >Rainbow Dash shakes a fist at you.
- >Fuck, you’re not having this.
- >”Now, let me explain-“
- >”Explain what you did to Applejack?” Rainbow cuts you, before rearing.
- >Oh boy, she’s going to charge.
- >She then shoots to you, before anyone else could respond.
- >But to you, she is so slow.
- >You put your right leg to the back, readying a stance.
- >Then you give a high kick to the incoming pony, striking her in the jaw.
- >She flies upwards, before curving and landing back on the six mares.
- >Fluttershy immediately goes to her aid, trying to bring her back up.
- >You don’t even bother trying to explain any more.
- >Feels good to kick that feisty mare in the chin.
- >You and I both, Chrysalis.
- >The world slows down again, and you find yourself turning your face away.
- >A purple disc passes in front of you, showing your reflection.
- >You now possessed Chrysalis’ eyes, and in your shocked expression, your pale, sharp canines were visible.
- >Some amount of black carapace ran down on the wounds on your face.
- >You gasp in surprise, and the disc continues its path.
- >It cuts through the tree behind you.
- >You turn and give Twilight a death-stare.
- >She is stern, hooves on the ground, horn glowing.
- >”Well, Twilight, whatever happened to the bookish, peaceful pony I used to know?”
- >You say, with an indifferent voice.
- >”You are a traitor, Anon.” Rarity speaks up.
- >”I may be- or I may be not. Who cares?”
- >”A-and you look- like a changeling.” Fluttershy says, before retreating behind the group.
- >You feel your teeth with your tongue.
- >Huh, you guess you do.
- >”A-and I’m n-not afraid of you- meanie!” Fluttershy shouts, ready to strike.
- >Applejack joins their side.
- >”Six on one? Hardly fair.” You whisper. “For you.”
- >The six charge at you immediately.
- >Twilight and Rarity hangs back, readying spells.
- >Applejack and Rainbow is double teaming you.
- >Pinkie and Fluttershy is coming up behind you.
- >How the hell did they get Pinkie to fight?
- >You stand uncaringly, waiting for the four mares.
- >You jerk your fist upwards and to the back, hitting Fluttershy immediately on the snout.
- >You duck the incoming Pink blur, before rolling forward to brush off Applejack.
- >Once Rainbow strikes you on your left shoulder, you spin, following the force.
- >Let the force flow through you.
- >You land on your feet again, not before you let go of the blue mare.
- >She flies to the recovered orange mare, knock the two out.
- >You are struck in the back by the yellow Pegasus.
- >You instantly feel for your wrist, and out comes your trusty blade.
- >You swing it to the head of the Pegasus, only to stop millimeters away from her eyes.
- >She whimpers, and stares into your eyes.
- >You hesitate, before flipping the knife to the other side of your grip.
- >You then strike her in the head, pushing her off you.
- >You jump to the side, dodging two blasts of magic.
- >You focus immediately, aiming the two knifes at the two unicorns.
- >One shot one kill.
- >No, not like this.
- >As you feel the knife releasing from your hands, you give them a little flick with your index.
- >They miss the intended eye, but both scratch the unicorn’s horn.
- >They flinch, losing their magic.
- >As Pinkie rushes to you with a war face, you run to the two unicorns.
- >You had a knife to catch.
- >You jump, landing a foot on the pink pony’s back.
- >Then you use that as another plane, jumping higher.
- >You grab the two knifes, and land in front of the two unicorns.
- >Before they could react, you sweep the white unicorn away, and put your hand to the face of the purple one.
- >You give a soft jerk, and that’s all it takes.
- >She falls over, and you position yourself over her.
- >She looks at you in horror, as you ready your knife.
- >You then flick it on your hand, spinning it wildly around your fingers.
- >one, two, three, one, two, three.
- >You then put it back in your sleeves, and hold Twilight up.
- >You bring her to your eye.
- >”Listen, Twilight. Get it in your thick pony skull, I am no traitor.”
- >She just eyes you, still scared.
- >”I fight a war for you, and you welcome me with a shot?”
- >You feel your voice rising.
- >”Plus, I don’t even get a hello, before you start shouting about.”
- >”I want to talk, and you reply with a kick to my face?”
- >”You beat up Applejack, Anon. You’re heartless.” She responds.
- >Before you answer, you grab Rainbow from your back, slam her to the ground.
- >”Heartless you say?” You whisper, with a grin coming up your face.
- >”Maybe.”
- >”Just maybe.”
- >”I’M FUCKING DEAD?”
- >You throw her to the ground.
- >Been a while since you lost your composure.
- >You fix yourself again, looking down at the frozen unicorn.
- >”Take note, Twilight. You’re good at it. I want you to-“
- >Ah-non!” You hear a familiar call.
- >Shit.
- >Applebloom was hard at work on the far side of the fields.
- >She started the Cutie Mark Crusaders Snow Cleaners thing, but boy, was she tired.
- >The CMC are all on their club house, all gasping for air.
- >Both Scoots and Sweetie have left, it was getting dark.
- >Applebloom was busy cleaning the club house, before she heard some commotion.
- >Her ears shoot up at a voice.
- >Anon?
- >She trots through the trees, trying to not have her scarf stuck in the branches.
- >It happened a few times, and she was left dangling on the tree.
- >Big Mac always teased her about it.
- >She heard crashes and loud grunts, she must be getting close.
- >There, about few meters from her, was the brother she waited so long.
- >She does not see the beaten ponies lying beside her, and runs towards Anonymous.
- >”Ah-non!” She calls out, happy.
- >You quickly turn to the little filly coming at you.
- >Chrysalis, get me out of here.
- >Already on it.
- >A green light surrounds you, as the little pony jumps at your form.
- >You hold out your still armed hand to push her away.
- >But you can feel her landing on you.
- >And another thing-
- >You heard someone get cut.
- >When you land, you feel the dry land on your hands.
- >Your face brush the hard ground.
- >”Ow!” You hear Applebloom shout.
- >You turn to see her, sitting upright.
- >With a red cut through her side.
- >It ran from her front legs, to her back.
- >She looks to you in confusion, before she falls to her back.
- >”NO!” You shout, going to her side.
- >Chrysalis materializes out of you, and stands over your hunched form.
- >You hold the filly in your hands, and look to Chrysalis pleadingly.
- >”Please, Chrysalis, help her.”
- >You feel your eyes tearing up.
- >Applebloom seems to be conscious, looking at you.
- >”Ah-non? I-I hurt.” She looks at you.
- >You gently run your fingers through her ruffled mane.
- >”Hold on- and stay away from the light, Applebloom.”
- >”Ah-non?”
- >”Yeah?” You barely keep your tears back.
- >”At least you kept your promise.”
- >You sob uncontrollably, over the dying filly.
- >Chrysalis watches the scene, eyeing your reaction.
- >Such… Connection.
- >She can feel her magic getting stronger by the second, and she decides to help her friend.
- >Friend.
- >Her horn glows, and soon, Applebloom is wrapped in a green glow.
- >You stop your crying to look over to your little sister.
- >Her wounds begin to seal, and the bleeding stops.
- >The glow soon leaves the little pony, and leaves her on the floor.
- >You rush to the filly immediately.
- >A quick touch reveals that she is still alive.
- >”No need to fret, Anon.” Chrysalis puts her hoof on your back.
- >”She’ll be fine.”
- >You turn around and give her a hug.
- >”Never seen you so… emotional, Anon.”
- >You wipe your face and turn to her.
- >”Yeah, me too.”
- >You set Applebloom down on a nearby rock, and sit next to her.
- >She may be healed, but she’s still out cold.
- >Chrysalis spawns a campfire for you, burning it with a green fire.
- >”Come,” she says ushering you to your feet.
- >You stand, holding the weakened filly in your hands.
- >Then the two of you teleport.
- >You land in a familiar tree house, the CMC headquarters.
- >You set down Applebloom on the floor, before positioning yourself next to her.
- >Chrysalis does her magic and goes back into your form.
- >God that was creepy.
- >You can see movement under the filly’s eyelids, and she is up soon.
- >”Ah-non! It’s great to see you again!”
- >She jumps, and gives you a massive hug.
- >You can feel Chrysalis laughing with all the nutrients.
- >”Hey, kiddo, you alright?” You ruffle her mane.
- >”Yeah- but what happened to YOU?” She asks, poking your carapace-covered wounds.
- >”Stuff.” You smile.
- >She shrugs it off.
- >”So, what now?” She asks.
- >”Now?” You raise a brow. “Now is time to sleep.”
- >She groans, but the moon was already high in the sky.
- >”Run along now.” You say, giving her a little tug.
- >”You’re not coming with me?” She says.
- >”I can’t. I’ll explain later.” You motion her away.
- >She soon runs off to the farm, and you hear surprised exclaims far off.
- >You smile, basking in the moonlight.
- >You suppose this is one of those times when you’re truly happy.
- >Since Chrysalis has no intentions of interacting with you, you better get some sleep…
- >You wake at the smell of apple pie.
- >You sluggishly look around the room, seeing your little sister.
- >She’s grinning happily to you, with an apple pie next to her.
- >”Ah know you like Apple family apple pies, Ah-non, so I got you one!”
- >You groan and look around.
- >”You didn’t tell anyone?” You ask, picking up the pie.
- >”Nope! Applejack seemed pretty mad at you.”
- >”Yeah…” You trail off.
- >”The rest of the girls seem pretty mad at you too, Anon, what happened?”
- >You nod, and rest your back to the wall.
- >You recall what Twilight said.
- >”Applebloom?” You ask.
- >”Yeah?” She seems eager.
- >”You don’t think I’m heartless, do you?” You ask sadly.
- >”Of course not! You kept your promise!”
- >”But I’m late and-“
- >”And besides.” She gives you a jab on your chest, which you bandaged earlier.
- >”You’re alive. Blood circulation and everything?” She smiles to you.
- >You smile back.
- >”I suppose you’re right, Applebloom.”
- >She is not satisfied.
- >Applebloom watches you for a moment, before her entire expression perks up.
- >”I know!” She shouts, before zipping out of the club house.
- >You can see the clear morning sky, albeit a little cloudy.
- >You enjoyed the sight of cloudy skies.
- >And the feeling when you are caught on one of the sun’s escaping beams of light…
- >Pure relief.
- >You stare at the sky above you, admiring the day.
- >Soon enough, Applebloom comes in.
- >You try to see what’s in her mouth, seems like a piece of paper.
- >”Now, close your eyes, Anon.”
- >You obey, you had nothing better to do.
- >You feel a sharp pain as the pin latches onto you.
- >You yelp, which led to torrents of sorry from Applebloom.
- >She hums a little adjusting the paper on you.
- >”There, now open your eyes!”
- >You do as she says, and you find yourself staring at yourself.
- >She is holding a mirror.
- >Your eyes look down to the place she had pinned something.
- >It was a small parchment, with crayon drawings on it.
- >In the center was a small, crude drawing of a heart.
- >”Since you don’t have a heart, I made you one!”
- >She smiles to you.
- >Your heart sinks.
- >You feel a chill on the hole you still had, and a strange sensation…
- >You felt a pulse.
- >You stare at the innocent filly, your heart heaving.
- >You feel warmth on your cheeks.
- >Tears.
- >Tears stream from your face, as you give the little filly a hug.
- >You feel your entire body warm up, bringing you back to life.
- >In the background, you hear Applejack, looking for her sister.
- >Applebloom’s ears perk up, as she slowly detach from you.
- >”Uhm, Anon? I have to go now.”
- >She squirms, and you let go.
- >You give her a little kiss on the forehead, and she runs off.
- >You can’t stop your tears.
- >Chrysalis materializes again, looking at you with a surprise.
- >”Wow, Anon.”
- >She looks at you, still amazed.
- >”Whatever that kid did to you… It was powerful.”
- >Fucking power of love.
- >”You’re…”
- >”Alive.”
- >”Alive?”
- >The two of you say at the same time.
- >She nods cautiously, looking over your form.
- >”I don’t think you need me anymore.”
- >Chrysalis whispers.
- >”No, you could always come with me, Christie.”
- >She winces at the name.
- >”No, I think I’ll stay here. I like this town.”
- >And with that, Chrysalis changes into a pony.
- >She pauses, and turns back.
- >You just stare.
- >”I think… you might need this.”
- >She leans in, and lightly pierces your chest hole with her horn.
- >Her horn glows, and a sickening snap is heard.
- >She raises her head, looking over.
- >She seems to admire her work, looking down on your newly-filled hole.
- >”That will do. Anonymous.” She waits for you to respond.
- >You feel the new nub on your chest.
- >”What’s this for?” You ask.
- >”Remember when everything slowed down for you?” She asks, giving a sly grin.
- >”This, will allow you to do that again.” She pats the nub.
- >You give her a smile.
- >”The all powerful Changeling queen, granting me a gift? Nah.”
- >”What can I say, you helped me live.”
- >She glances over to you. “Besides,”
- >”I think your kindness is rubbing off on me.”
- >You give hear a smile, before giving her a hug.
- >She gasps at your touch, but remains still.
- >As you pull back, you notice she has this stare on you.
- >You know this look all too well.
- >Rape face.
- >She finally breaks character and laughs.
- >”No need to freak out like that, Anon. I’m just teasing.”
- >You feel your face drain.
- >”Oh, what the hell.”
- >She leans in for a quick kiss, before trotting out.
- >You lean back on the club house wall, chewing on the given pie.
- >You knew what you had to do.
- >Finish the fight.
- (Fuck I’m so sorry.)
