  2.
  3. >The guard looks to another in shock.
  4. >The other keeps a stern gaze, but his face is riddled with horror.
  5. >A single beam stops the gaze forever, leaving the guard even more horrified.
  6. >He looks over the crashed chariot, to face the two sisters in battle…
  7.
  8. >You trod over the snow-covered landscape.
  9. >The mental image will not leave you.
  10. >It compels you to come.
  11. >You sprint over rocks, downed trees, and some animals.
  12. >Nothing can’t stop you.
  13.
  14. >Stop you idiot.
  15. >No, Chrysalis, I need to find what this is.
  16. >Are all humans this stupid?
  17. >More or less, yes.
  18. >You finally feel the snow to thin down, and you soon face a large purple barrier.
  19. >This must be Ponyville.
  20. >You put your hand up against the barrier, pushing through.
  21. >To your surprise, you pass seamlessly.
  22. >You fix your hood and walk down the familiar path.
  23. >Soon, you are by the orchard.
  24. >The apple trees.
  25. >You look around in wonder; the half of the orchard is outside of the barrier.
  26. >Even in the inside, you could still see some parts of the frozen.
  27. >The cold wind was still there.
  28. >The town, from the distance, seemed pretty deserted.
  29. >The once bright paints of the houses are peeling off.
  30. >You take a deep breath, until a certain sense hits you.
  31. >It will be Zap-Apple season soon.
  32. >You trot amongst the trees, each are is their own purple blanket.
  33. >And soon enough, you can see the Apple family farm.
  34. >Good to see your old home.
  35. >Now, what was that memory that prevented you from dashing madly into the town?
  36.
  37. >You feel an almost neck-snapping force on your cheek.
  38. >You stagger to the ground, balancing yourself with a hand.
  39.
  40. >”Ya’ll got ah lot of nerves showing yer backside again, Anon.” That voice.
  41. >Now you remember.
  42. >Applejack.
  43. >Before you can muster up a reply, the orange pony charges.
  44. >She turns half way through, letting her momentum fly her to you.
  45. >Then she rears her back legs.
  46. >This can’t be good.
  47. >Then you feel the clopping in your ear get slower.
  48. >The wind turns into a low-pitched growl.
  49. >Applejack is slowing down.
  50. >She still has her determined gaze on you.
  51. >She blinks.
  52.
  53. >Slowly.
  54.
  55. >Before her outstretched back hooves can connect to your face, you bring up your left arm.
  56. >You quickly catch her shin, turning the pony in her own momentum.
  57. >Then you let the energy continue, turning the pony into a semi-circle around you.
  58. >You then give a forcible stop in your swing, sending all of her innards sloshing forward.
  59. >Not missing a beat, you pull the pony through the semi-circle again, now backwards.
  60. >As you lower the swing, you kick up your left knee, connecting with her stomach.
  61. >Her eyes go agape in shock.
  62. >She falls in front of you, clutching her stomach.
  63.
  64. >You fix your jaws back in place with a satisfying crackle.
  65. >”Now I got you to stop, let’s talk.”
  66. >Applejack stares at you, before nudging her hat.
  67. >A small whistle comes out, and she blows it.
  68. >In an instant, the six all-too-familiar mares materialize in front of you.
  69. >Well, shit.
  70.
  71. >”Back off, Anon.” Twilight orders you.
  72. >”You got a lot of nerves, Anon.”
  73. >Rainbow Dash shakes a fist at you.
  74. >Fuck, you’re not having this.
  75. >”Now, let me explain-“
  76. >”Explain what you did to Applejack?” Rainbow cuts you, before rearing.
  77. >Oh boy, she’s going to charge.
  78. >She then shoots to you, before anyone else could respond.
  79. >But to you, she is so slow.
  80. >You put your right leg to the back, readying a stance.
  81. >Then you give a high kick to the incoming pony, striking her in the jaw.
  82. >She flies upwards, before curving and landing back on the six mares.
  83. >Fluttershy immediately goes to her aid, trying to bring her back up.
  84. >You don’t even bother trying to explain any more.
  85.
  86. >Feels good to kick that feisty mare in the chin.
  87. >You and I both, Chrysalis.
  88.
  89. >The world slows down again, and you find yourself turning your face away.
  90. >A purple disc passes in front of you, showing your reflection.
  91. >You now possessed Chrysalis’ eyes, and in your shocked expression, your pale, sharp canines were visible.
  92. >Some amount of black carapace ran down on the wounds on your face.
  93. >You gasp in surprise, and the disc continues its path.
  94. >It cuts through the tree behind you.
  95. >You turn and give Twilight a death-stare.
  96. >She is stern, hooves on the ground, horn glowing.
  97. >”Well, Twilight, whatever happened to the bookish, peaceful pony I used to know?”
  98. >You say, with an indifferent voice.
  99. >”You are a traitor, Anon.” Rarity speaks up.
  100. >”I may be- or I may be not. Who cares?”
  101. >”A-and you look- like a changeling.” Fluttershy says, before retreating behind the group.
  102. >You feel your teeth with your tongue.
  103. >Huh, you guess you do.
  104. >”A-and I’m n-not afraid of you- meanie!” Fluttershy shouts, ready to strike.
  105. >Applejack joins their side.
  106. >”Six on one? Hardly fair.” You whisper. “For you.”
  107. >The six charge at you immediately.
  108. >Twilight and Rarity hangs back, readying spells.
  109. >Applejack and Rainbow is double teaming you.
  110. >Pinkie and Fluttershy is coming up behind you.
  111. >How the hell did they get Pinkie to fight?
  112. >You stand uncaringly, waiting for the four mares.
  113. >You jerk your fist upwards and to the back, hitting Fluttershy immediately on the snout.
  114. >You duck the incoming Pink blur, before rolling forward to brush off Applejack.
  115. >Once Rainbow strikes you on your left shoulder, you spin, following the force.
  116. >Let the force flow through you.
  117. >You land on your feet again, not before you let go of the blue mare.
  118. >She flies to the recovered orange mare, knock the two out.
  119. >You are struck in the back by the yellow Pegasus.
  120. >You instantly feel for your wrist, and out comes your trusty blade.
  121. >You swing it to the head of the Pegasus, only to stop millimeters away from her eyes.
  122. >She whimpers, and stares into your eyes.
  123. >You hesitate, before flipping the knife to the other side of your grip.
  124. >You then strike her in the head, pushing her off you.
  125. >You jump to the side, dodging two blasts of magic.
  126. >You focus immediately, aiming the two knifes at the two unicorns.
  127. >One shot one kill.
  128.
  129. >No, not like this.
  130. >As you feel the knife releasing from your hands, you give them a little flick with your index.
  131. >They miss the intended eye, but both scratch the unicorn’s horn.
  132. >They flinch, losing their magic.
  133. >As Pinkie rushes to you with a war face, you run to the two unicorns.
  134. >You had a knife to catch.
  135. >You jump, landing a foot on the pink pony’s back.
  136. >Then you use that as another plane, jumping higher.
  137. >You grab the two knifes, and land in front of the two unicorns.
  138. >Before they could react, you sweep the white unicorn away, and put your hand to the face of the purple one.
  139. >You give a soft jerk, and that’s all it takes.
  140. >She falls over, and you position yourself over her.
  141. >She looks at you in horror, as you ready your knife.
  142. >You then flick it on your hand, spinning it wildly around your fingers.
  143. >one, two, three, one, two, three.
  144. >You then put it back in your sleeves, and hold Twilight up.
  145. >You bring her to your eye.
  146. >”Listen, Twilight. Get it in your thick pony skull, I am no traitor.”
  147. >She just eyes you, still scared.
  148. >”I fight a war for you, and you welcome me with a shot?”
  149. >You feel your voice rising.
  150. >”Plus, I don’t even get a hello, before you start shouting about.”
  151. >”I want to talk, and you reply with a kick to my face?”
  152. >”You beat up Applejack, Anon. You’re heartless.” She responds.
  153. >Before you answer, you grab Rainbow from your back, slam her to the ground.
  154. >”Heartless you say?” You whisper, with a grin coming up your face.
  155. >”Maybe.”
  156. >”Just maybe.”
  157. >”I’M FUCKING DEAD?”
  158. >You throw her to the ground.
  159. >Been a while since you lost your composure.
  160. >You fix yourself again, looking down at the frozen unicorn.
  161. >”Take note, Twilight. You’re good at it. I want you to-“
  162. >Ah-non!” You hear a familiar call.
  163. >Shit.
  164.
  165. >Applebloom was hard at work on the far side of the fields.
  166. >She started the Cutie Mark Crusaders Snow Cleaners thing, but boy, was she tired.
  167. >The CMC are all on their club house, all gasping for air.
  168. >Both Scoots and Sweetie have left, it was getting dark.
  169. >Applebloom was busy cleaning the club house, before she heard some commotion.
  170. >Her ears shoot up at a voice.
  171. >Anon?
  172. >She trots through the trees, trying to not have her scarf stuck in the branches.
  173. >It happened a few times, and she was left dangling on the tree.
  174. >Big Mac always teased her about it.
  175. >She heard crashes and loud grunts, she must be getting close.
  176. >There, about few meters from her, was the brother she waited so long.
  177. >She does not see the beaten ponies lying beside her, and runs towards Anonymous.
  178. >”Ah-non!” She calls out, happy.
  179.
  180. >You quickly turn to the little filly coming at you.
  181.
  182. >Chrysalis, get me out of here.
  183. >Already on it.
  184.
  185. >A green light surrounds you, as the little pony jumps at your form.
  186. >You hold out your still armed hand to push her away.
  187. >But you can feel her landing on you.
  188. >And another thing-
  189. >You heard someone get cut.
  190.
  191. >When you land, you feel the dry land on your hands.
  192. >Your face brush the hard ground.
  193. >”Ow!” You hear Applebloom shout.
  194. >You turn to see her, sitting upright.
  195. >With a red cut through her side.
  196. >It ran from her front legs, to her back.
  197. >She looks to you in confusion, before she falls to her back.
  198. >”NO!” You shout, going to her side.
  199. >Chrysalis materializes out of you, and stands over your hunched form.
  200. >You hold the filly in your hands, and look to Chrysalis pleadingly.
  201. >”Please, Chrysalis, help her.”
  202. >You feel your eyes tearing up.
  203. >Applebloom seems to be conscious, looking at you.
  204. >”Ah-non? I-I hurt.” She looks at you.
  205. >You gently run your fingers through her ruffled mane.
  206. >”Hold on- and stay away from the light, Applebloom.”
  207. >”Ah-non?”
  208. >”Yeah?” You barely keep your tears back.
  209. >”At least you kept your promise.”
  210. >You sob uncontrollably, over the dying filly.
  211.
  212. >Chrysalis watches the scene, eyeing your reaction.
  213. >Such… Connection.
  214. >She can feel her magic getting stronger by the second, and she decides to help her friend.
  215. >Friend.
  216.
  217. >Her horn glows, and soon, Applebloom is wrapped in a green glow.
  218. >You stop your crying to look over to your little sister.
  219. >Her wounds begin to seal, and the bleeding stops.
  220. >The glow soon leaves the little pony, and leaves her on the floor.
  221. >You rush to the filly immediately.
  222. >A quick touch reveals that she is still alive.
  223.
  224. >”No need to fret, Anon.” Chrysalis puts her hoof on your back.
  225. >”She’ll be fine.”
  226. >You turn around and give her a hug.
  227. >”Never seen you so… emotional, Anon.”
  228. >You wipe your face and turn to her.
  229. >”Yeah, me too.”
  230. >You set Applebloom down on a nearby rock, and sit next to her.
  231. >She may be healed, but she’s still out cold.
  232. >Chrysalis spawns a campfire for you, burning it with a green fire.
  233. >”Come,” she says ushering you to your feet.
  234. >You stand, holding the weakened filly in your hands.
  235. >Then the two of you teleport.
  236.
  237. >You land in a familiar tree house, the CMC headquarters.
  238. >You set down Applebloom on the floor, before positioning yourself next to her.
  239. >Chrysalis does her magic and goes back into your form.
  240. >God that was creepy.
  241. >You can see movement under the filly’s eyelids, and she is up soon.
  242. >”Ah-non! It’s great to see you again!”
  243. >She jumps, and gives you a massive hug.
  244. >You can feel Chrysalis laughing with all the nutrients.
  245. >”Hey, kiddo, you alright?” You ruffle her mane.
  246. >”Yeah- but what happened to YOU?” She asks, poking your carapace-covered wounds.
  247. >”Stuff.” You smile.
  248. >She shrugs it off.
  249. >”So, what now?” She asks.
  250. >”Now?” You raise a brow. “Now is time to sleep.”
  251. >She groans, but the moon was already high in the sky.
  252. >”Run along now.” You say, giving her a little tug.
  253. >”You’re not coming with me?” She says.
  254. >”I can’t. I’ll explain later.” You motion her away.
  255. >She soon runs off to the farm, and you hear surprised exclaims far off.
  256. >You smile, basking in the moonlight.
  257. >You suppose this is one of those times when you’re truly happy.
  258. >Since Chrysalis has no intentions of interacting with you, you better get some sleep…
  259.
  260. >You wake at the smell of apple pie.
  261. >You sluggishly look around the room, seeing your little sister.
  262. >She’s grinning happily to you, with an apple pie next to her.
  263. >”Ah know you like Apple family apple pies, Ah-non, so I got you one!”
  264. >You groan and look around.
  265. >”You didn’t tell anyone?” You ask, picking up the pie.
  266. >”Nope! Applejack seemed pretty mad at you.”
  267. >”Yeah…” You trail off.
  268. >”The rest of the girls seem pretty mad at you too, Anon, what happened?”
  269. >You nod, and rest your back to the wall.
  270. >You recall what Twilight said.
  271. >”Applebloom?” You ask.
  272. >”Yeah?” She seems eager.
  273. >”You don’t think I’m heartless, do you?” You ask sadly.
  274. >”Of course not! You kept your promise!”
  275. >”But I’m late and-“
  276. >”And besides.” She gives you a jab on your chest, which you bandaged earlier.
  277. >”You’re alive. Blood circulation and everything?” She smiles to you.
  278. >You smile back.
  279. >”I suppose you’re right, Applebloom.”
  280. >She is not satisfied.
  281. >Applebloom watches you for a moment, before her entire expression perks up.
  282. >”I know!” She shouts, before zipping out of the club house.
  283. >You can see the clear morning sky, albeit a little cloudy.
  284. >You enjoyed the sight of cloudy skies.
  285. >And the feeling when you are caught on one of the sun’s escaping beams of light…
  286. >Pure relief.
  287.
  288. >You stare at the sky above you, admiring the day.
  289. >Soon enough, Applebloom comes in.
  290. >You try to see what’s in her mouth, seems like a piece of paper.
  291. >”Now, close your eyes, Anon.”
  292. >You obey, you had nothing better to do.
  293. >You feel a sharp pain as the pin latches onto you.
  294. >You yelp, which led to torrents of sorry from Applebloom.
  295. >She hums a little adjusting the paper on you.
  296. >”There, now open your eyes!”
  297. >You do as she says, and you find yourself staring at yourself.
  298. >She is holding a mirror.
  299. >Your eyes look down to the place she had pinned something.
  300.
  301. >It was a small parchment, with crayon drawings on it.
  302. >In the center was a small, crude drawing of a heart.
  303.
  304. >”Since you don’t have a heart, I made you one!”
  305. >She smiles to you.
  306. >Your heart sinks.
  307. >You feel a chill on the hole you still had, and a strange sensation…
  308.
  309. >You felt a pulse.
  310.
  311. >You stare at the innocent filly, your heart heaving.
  312. >You feel warmth on your cheeks.
  313. >Tears.
  314. >Tears stream from your face, as you give the little filly a hug.
  315. >You feel your entire body warm up, bringing you back to life.
  316. >In the background, you hear Applejack, looking for her sister.
  317. >Applebloom’s ears perk up, as she slowly detach from you.
  318. >”Uhm, Anon? I have to go now.”
  319. >She squirms, and you let go.
  320. >You give her a little kiss on the forehead, and she runs off.
  321. >You can’t stop your tears.
  322.
  323. >Chrysalis materializes again, looking at you with a surprise.
  324. >”Wow, Anon.”
  325. >She looks at you, still amazed.
  326. >”Whatever that kid did to you… It was powerful.”
  327. >Fucking power of love.
  328. >”You’re…”
  329.
  330. >”Alive.”
  331. >”Alive?”
  332.
  333. >The two of you say at the same time.
  334. >She nods cautiously, looking over your form.
  335.
  336. >”I don’t think you need me anymore.”
  337. >Chrysalis whispers.
  338. >”No, you could always come with me, Christie.”
  339. >She winces at the name.
  340. >”No, I think I’ll stay here. I like this town.”
  341. >And with that, Chrysalis changes into a pony.
  342. >She pauses, and turns back.
  343. >You just stare.
  344. >”I think… you might need this.”
  345. >She leans in, and lightly pierces your chest hole with her horn.
  346. >Her horn glows, and a sickening snap is heard.
  347. >She raises her head, looking over.
  348. >She seems to admire her work, looking down on your newly-filled hole.
  349. >”That will do. Anonymous.” She waits for you to respond.
  350. >You feel the new nub on your chest.
  351. >”What’s this for?” You ask.
  352. >”Remember when everything slowed down for you?” She asks, giving a sly grin.
  353. >”This, will allow you to do that again.” She pats the nub.
  354. >You give her a smile.
  355. >”The all powerful Changeling queen, granting me a gift? Nah.”
  356. >”What can I say, you helped me live.”
  357. >She glances over to you. “Besides,”
  358. >”I think your kindness is rubbing off on me.”
  359. >You give hear a smile, before giving her a hug.
  360. >She gasps at your touch, but remains still.
  361. >As you pull back, you notice she has this stare on you.
  362.
  363. >You know this look all too well.
  364.
  365. >Rape face.
  366.
  367. >She finally breaks character and laughs.
  368. >”No need to freak out like that, Anon. I’m just teasing.”
  369. >You feel your face drain.
  370. >”Oh, what the hell.”
  371. >She leans in for a quick kiss, before trotting out.
  372. >You lean back on the club house wall, chewing on the given pie.
  373.
  374. >You knew what you had to do.
  375.
  376. >Finish the fight.
  377.
  378. (Fuck I’m so sorry.)
