- >Luna has had an exhausting night.
- >There was surprisingly a lot to do tonight.
- >A surge of bat pony immigrants had made their way to Canterlot.
- >They had woken up many citizens with their running around in the streets.
- >Nopony was happy.
- >Luna took it upon herself to calm the quarrel that broke out between ponies.
- >Despite how reluctant she was, she had to send the batponies out of the city, as they didn't have proper identification or documentation.
- >Then she had to make sure nothing was damaged or stolen in the aftermath.
- >She had to scour the entire city just to be sure.
- >Every stall, shop, and public building in the city.
- >It was understandable that she was tired.
- >She had come back to her room after breakfast with her sister.
- >Breakfast wasn't too filling, though.
- >Despite her assistants' wishes, Luna had kept a secret stash of treats under her bed.
- >She brought out the large tin she kept them in and opened it.
- >Everything from cookies to candy, from small cakes to fine chocolates, it was all there.
- >She took a piece of candy into her magic and ate it.
- >Then a cookie.
- >Then another cookie.
- >And a small cake.
- >And-
- >She regained control of herself.
- >She gazed down at the treat tin, envy in her eyes.
- >Even though she'd love to eat the entire thing, these were not good for her.
- >Plus, she needed to save some for other times.
- >She put the lid back on the package and slid it under the bed.
- >She hopped onto the mattress and got comfortable under the covers.
- >She wished she could kick her little addiction to sweets.
- >Every morning she would come in here and snack a little.
- >Or maybe a lot.
- >Most of the time, it was a lot.
- >She didn't seem to gain any weight from it.
- >Yet.
- >She had to get rid of them, they controlled her.
- >But not today.
- >Right now, she needed her sleep.
- >Before drifting off, however, she brought the tin out once again.
- >She lay in bed as it floated over to her in her magic.
- >Just one more.
- >She opened it and ate a piece of chocolate.
- >Then a small cake.
- >And a cookie.
- >And-
- >She slammed the lid on the tin and hid it again.
- >Truly, she would never rid herself of the sweet tooth.
- >She'd just have to keep this secret from her sister.
- >She already teased Celestia for going crazy over cake.
- >It'd be undesirable if her sister could get her back.
- >Luna licked her lips for remaining crumbs, and drifted off to sleep.
