Todularians (Cliffnotes): A 40,000-year-old, very-slow-to-advance race of panhumans with notable psychic aptitude that believed in a massive pantheon of gods that united their spiritual and technological lives in a beautifully peaceful way few other faiths can replicate. Expansion brought them into conflict with various quickly subjugated planetary states, forming the Todularian Ecclasiarchy. With beautiful, massive homeworld cities of stone with grav-assissted cathedrals and lush verdant worship-gardens, the Todularian worlds were things of beauty and grace. However, with the experiments that brought the Drakon to life, and their subsequent reproduction, social tensions between proto-atheist scientists and the new Drakon with their religious background polarized the nation. After about two centuries of this, civil war broke out, and the ‘Xenohuman Republic’ quickly used new weapons technology and shipbuilding techniques to bring the Todularians to their knees. Casting aside any semblance of the old culture, the Xenohumans purged the Todularian worlds, burning them to ash, shattering the towers, and leaving Todular herself a smoldering, radioactive wasteland. The remaining seven gods survive only in cult worship, and the only surviving remnants of this proud and ancient culture are passed down from priest to acolyte and by those scientists and looters brave enough or foolish enough to venture to ‘the old worlds’ and recover artifacts, records, and Relic-Technology.
