  1. "I beg your pardon?"
  2. >"It was anticlimactic. I mean really. All of a sudden some deus ex machina pops into existence, someone we've never even seen before, and just solves everything?"
  3. >She frowns at you.
  4. >"Do you have any idea how much I'm going to have to change this to make the story work?"
  5. >You roll your eyes and sigh.
  6. "Look, I've gotta go to a beach really soon. Can this wait for a bit?"
  7. >Everypony else looks at you in confusion, and you stuff the princesses back in your pockets.
  8. "Which way to the nearest coastline?"
  9. >Twilight pipes up, surprisingly enthusiastic.
  10. >"East!"
  11. "So, it'd be easier to get there from Canterlot than it would be to get there from here?"
  12. >"Yes."
  13. "Then it's settled!"
  14. >You stop being in the middle of a jungle
  15. >And start being on the top of the tallest spire in Canterlot.
  16. >In your wake, Twilight breathes a sigh of relief, before she realises that you were the easiest way back home.
  17. >You can almost hear her angered shout from here.
  18. >You look at Canterlot from your perch.
  19. >Upon locating the apartment building you improved the other day, you leap off the tower in it's direction.
  20. >Moments from splattering against the cobblestones, you pull out Celestia and Luna and deploy their wings.
  21. >Using the princesses as a sort of hang-glider, you convert all of your downward momentum into forward momentum.
  22. >You breeze past the Canterlot citizens, and in no time at all find yourself careening through a window.
  23. >You stuff Celestia and Luna back in their pockets, and apologise to the window for breaking it.
  24. >There's also a few ponies here that are yelling at you for breaking in, but they aren't very important.
  25. >You crawl back out the window, making sure you don't cut yourself on the broken glass.
  26. >Then, you scuttle around on the outside of the building, tearing the windows off and stuffing them in your bottomless box.
  27. >Once every window has been thus removed, you gaze eastward.
  28. >What would be the fastest way to get there?
  29. >That's it! A warp bubble!
  30. >You walk out to an empty patch of air, and lie down on it face down.
  31. >You reach above your head, in an oceanwards direction, and take a hold of the fabric of spacetime.
  32. >You then use your toes to grab some more spacetime.
  33. >Then, you push your arms down and your legs up.
  34. >Space warps around you, and you are propelled at faster-than-light speeds towards a beach.
  35. >You crash into the sands at relativistic velocities nanoseconds later, and lose hold of spacetime.
  36. >You dig yourself out of the dunes and cough up some sand.
  37. >The princesses also cough up some sand.
  38. >You look around at the confused and startled beachgoers.
  39. "We're here!"
  40. >The Princesses climb out of your pockets, and start relaxing on the sands.
  41. >They deserve better.
  42. >You walk over to some chairs and stuff and steal them.
  43. >One unicorn in particular didn't like that.
  44. >"Oi! That's our stuff!"
  45. "The king orders that it be taken and given to the Princesses."
  46. >He grumbles a bit and lets you take his stuff.
  47. >How accommodating!
  48. >You set up the chairs and such by the princesses, and gesture that they may use them.
  49. >Luna whispers something in Celestia's ear, and Celestia responds aloud.
  50. >"It's probably best not to question him."
  51. "You should really just relax, Luna."
  52. >And relax she does.
  53. >Well, time to do what you came here to do.
  54. >You climb a bit into the air, and start taking windows out of your bottomless box.
  55. >You place them on the air, with as little space between them as possible.
  56. >Once you run out of windows, you take a few steps back and look at your modern art project.
  57. >It's beautiful!
  58. >You crawl through one of the broken windows, and end up inside the room it's connected to.
  59. >You make your way out of the building, and start looking for a spare door.
  60. >You find one just lying around, lodged very firmly in the back of someponies house.
  61. >After you tear the door out of the wall, you bound your way to the castle.
  62. >You skip and prance through the castle, eventually happening upon the tea room.
  63. >Once inside, you tear one of the entrances off the door, and slap it on a wall.
  64. >You then stop being in the tea room
  65. >And start being back at the beach.
  66. >You stab the door firmly into the sand, and open it.
  67. >As expected, the door connects to the tea room.
  68. >You shut the door, and climb the air up to one of the broken windows.
  69. >After pulling a shard of glass out of the window frame, you jump back down to the door.
  70. >Then, you engrave the word "CANTERLOT" into the door frame.
  71. >Eh, close enough.
  72. >You also carve "KEEP OUT! ROYALTY ONLY ENTRANCE!" into the door itself.
  73. >That should keep the everyday rabble out.
  74. >You fetch a chair, and relax in the sun.
  75. >Shortly thereafter, you fall asleep.
