Where to fight? Most standard "duels" happen in the range of SL 100 - 120. Across all three platforms, the biggest hotspot is the Oolacile Township found in the DLC. The burg is also quite active at this level range, as is the Kiln of the First Flame on console.

 

If you desire invasions and/or lower-level PvP, all of the Lord Soul areas are chock full of unsuspecting players around SL 70. The Duke's Archives see more invasions than the other areas, but there are plenty of people in human form in New Londo, the Demon Ruins/Lost Izalith, and the Tomb of the Giants as well. If you limit yourself to the SL 40-50 range, there are plenty of fights to be had in Anor Londo.

 

If you have a taste for getting ganged up on, you can hang out in the forest.
