  1. Hey journal, it's me. Yeah it's been a while but what can I say?
  2. Been busy practicing flight. Seriously that is gonna be one of my major focuses here. I plan on making a habit out of these expeditions, despite them being life-threatening and with no guarantee of an actual reward. My failed attempt at rescuing Swift Justice and injuring my wing was a grim reminder of why I need to practice more.
  3. Luckily, yesterday was an exception, we found some Iron and Phosphorus in the caves north of here.
  4. Also some horrific abominations that I can hardly endure to recall. Schett and his bear carving skills come to my mind anyway.
  5. Could not believe our luck, we found a crossbow, with 8 bolts. Well 6 bolts now.
  6. My guess is i'm the only one here who knows how to use it properly, back on Earth one of my dad's friends had a Gastraphetes, so having nothing better to do I learnt. This thing supports hoof grip as well, so that's a lucky break. Gonna see if I can ask the smithy to forge some more bolts, shouldn't be too hard considering we found some Iron Ore. But we're gonna need that for other things as well so I won't make it a priority. Gonna save these bolts for the cockatrice hunt.
  7. Dunno how old this crossbow is but it seems reliable enough, gonna go check on its durability. I might just keep the thing to one side until I know we can maintain it effectively. Anything else, we can always base future copies off it.
  8. I hope Rain Drop forgives me for almost shooting her in the leg, I just ain't too easy going when it comes to unknown spiritual possession you know?
  9.
  10. Thought for the day: "If something's seems too good to be true, it probably is"
