This does not stack with any other source of temporary vitality. Temporary vitality is always lost first when taking damage, and fades at the end of combat.-Rally Cry: By exhausting an astral grav as part of this action, the shield mother can forgo gaining the temporary vitality to instead grant it to up to three other allies in the same zone.
-Guarded Advance: By exhausting an ardent grav as part of this action, the shield mother can move one zone in addition to the action's other effects, and allow one ally in her current zone to move with her. The shield mother's movement provokes attacks of opportunity as normal, but the ally's movement does not.
-Spirit Shield: By exhausting an erudite grav as part of this action, the shield mother can fully ignore the effects of the first mystic attack to hit her before the start of her next turn.
-Death Ward: By exhausting a mordant grav as part of this action, the shield mother can protect the last measure of her strength. Until the start of her next turn, she cannot be reduced below 1 vitality by damage.
-Lifespring Meditation: By exhausting a savage grav as part of this action, the shield mother can gain a boon grav with the following effect: "At the start of your turn, gain temporary vitality equal to your spirit score." At the end of the encounter, the boon grav becomes a null grav.
Guardian Strike: As an action, the shield mother can make a weapon attack, reducing the damage dice of her attack by one size. If the attack hits, the targeted creature is afflicted with a stack of Weakened.
-Martyr's Strike: By exhausting an astral grav as a part of this action, the shield mother can forge a link of shared suffering between herself and her target. Until the end of the shield mother's next turn, any damage she sustains is also dealt to the target of this attack. This reflection of damage occurs before the shield mother's damage resistance is applied.
-Guardian Flare: By exhausting an ardent grav as a part of this action, the shield mother can replace the weapon attack with a mystic attack that has a range of Melee-2. On a hit, this attack deals [Spirit] damage, without penalty.
-Patient Guardian: By exhausting an erudite grav as a part of this action, the shield mother can forgo inflicting weakened stacks in order in order to inflict a bane grav on her target. The bane grav has the following effect: "At the end of your turn, if you have not made an attack against the shield mother that inflicted this grav, you gain two stacks of the Weakened condition."
-Crippling Crush: By exhausting a mordant grav as a part of this action, the shield mother can inflict a stack of Dizzy, and a stack of Slow in addition to the action's other effects.
-Guardian Slam: By exhausting a savage grav as part of this action, the shield mother can replace the weapon attack with a powerful stomp, sending out a shockwave that targets all enemies in her zone. She makes a single [STR+SPI] attack, comparing it to the evasion of each enemy in her zone. Those struck suffer [STR] damage, and are afflicted with a stack of Weakened. Using this effect causes the shield mother to gain a null grav.
Defender: As an action, the shield mother can interpose herself between an ally in her zone and incoming attacks. Whenever an enemy attacks the protected ally, the shield mother can make a [Strength + Strength] check opposing the attack roll. If the shield mother succeeds in this opposed check, the attack is redirected to her. This protection lasts until her target is no longer in the shield mother's zone, until the shield mother dismisses it on her turn, or until the shield mother uses this ability on a different target. Dismissing this effect does not consume an action.
-Lifelink: By exhausting an astral grav as part of this action, the shield mother can forgo the normal effects of this action in order to instead forge a powerful lifelink with her target for the effect's duration. At the start of each of the target's turns, they can regain vitality up to their maximum. The shield mother suffers an equal amount of damage, which is not subject to damage reduction, tautness, or the vulnerable condition. This damage counts as normal for the purpose of generating resolve.
-Retribution: By exhausting an ardent grav as part of this action, the shield mother can forgo the normal effects of this action in order to instead inflict a fearsome retribution against those who would harm her allies for the effect's duration. Whenever an enemy attacks the targeted ally, regardless of whether that attack hits or misses, the offending enemy takes [SPI] damage. She gains resolve equal to half the damage dealt by this effect, rounded up.
-Mercurial Shield: By exhausting an erudite grav as part of this action, the shield mother can defend even against the most esoteric of attacks. She can make the [Strength + Strength] check to intercept mystic attacks, opposing the attacker's [Spirit + Wits] check. On a success, the shield mother redirects the mystic attack to herself. If the mystic attack inflicts conditions, the shield mother gains a point of resolve for each condition she suffers from it.
-Dampening Shield: By exhausting a mordant grav as part of this action, the shield mother's mighty blockade can rob her foes of their strength. In addition to the normal effects of this action, successfully intercepted attacks deal no damage whatsoever. The shield mother still gains resolve based on the damage the attack would have dealt without this effect.
-Iron Rampart: By exhausting a savage grav as part of this action, the shield mother can extend her defense to all allies sharing her zone. Using this effect causes the shield mother to gain a null grav.

Heroic Resolve: Whenever the shield mother takes damage, she gains a number of points of resolve equal to half the damage taken, rounded up. Resolve gained is calculated before damage reduction is applied. A shield mother's pool of resolve points can never exceed her spirit score. At the start of her turn, a shield mother can spend resolve to negate conditions afflicting her, spending two points of resolve for every condition stack removed.
Vigilant: Nothing slips past a shield mother's watchful eye, and she does not need to make an opposed [STR+AGI] checks to qualify for opportunity attacks. She can make an opportunity attack against any enemy that provokes one from her. The attack itself is rolled normally. Biography
History
Irina was the puisne (middle child) of an older sister and a younger brother. She spent a part of her life in the church of Matushka before deciding to take on the path of a warrior. This wasn’t because she disliked the church, but she was simply more attracted by the exciting life of a warrior rather than a boring life spent praying in a temple. She started slow, learning the basics of a high variety of weapons and how to move with a shield while wearing a heavy plate armor. After three years of training, she was ready for the very first big test: hunting a wild creature, the winner of this challenge wins their own personalized equipment before going off to join the official army.
She started to look for decent preys, wolves or elks. But never succeed to be fast enough to follow them. When another challenger would not simply hunt the prey before her. After several hours of hunting, she needed a bit of rest, and found a cave. Entering it, she almost let out a scream of surprise when she discovered a sleeping grizzly. The beast was about her size… Or even bigger. Irina was about to leave but, she lost her balance and fell to the ground. The loud noise caused by her plate armor and weapons awoke the sleeping beast, the sudden disturbance putting the beast in a bad mood. Irina felt her heart rumbling so hard in her chest, her body starting to cover by sweat… But she was resolved to stand up and face the bear, holding her spear and raising her shield.
The fight was far from pleasurable. The bear managed to seriously injured the girl; her fur getting covered by both her own blood and the bears, by the end of it she couldn’t even find the strength to stand. As she laid in the bear’s cave, staring at the ceiling she felt something building inside her, a form of pressure. Something was expanding inside her was all she could think as she watched her belly expand out until it managed to even break out of the armor on her abdomen. Irina couldn’t believe her eyes, she had turned into a maiesta.
When she returned to her village, with the bear , and her now larger belly, there was a moment of silence. Then the general populace hailed Irina and her exploit! For these peoples, who worshipped Matushka, being a Maiesta was a kind of “supreme honor”. A god’s sign that your village is blessed for ever. For the next few years, Irina was specially trained to become a powerful warrior. At first, the young girl wasn’t really able to fight with such a large middle, to the point that she thought that it would be a serious handicap. But after a few months, she adapted to her new size and became a fine warrior. Finally, some years later, she left her village, with the blessing of all the inhabitants, to seek out other Maiestas and further understand this power dwelling within her.
Personality
Despite her warrior’s past, Irina was a fellow student and a cheerful daughter. She knows when it’s time to fight and when it’s time to hug her friends. People might think she’s naive, because she always seeks to see the good in peoples. But this is because she knows the world can be bad place and she wants to look for the good in people.
Becoming a Maiesta also awoke another part of per personality, and caused her to become a more motherly person. During her childhood, she saw her mother expecting her little brother. She saw her belly expanding along the weeks and was always fascinated by this process.
Description
Irina is a pretty tall women who stand about 8’8 (2.7m), which is pretty common for her species. She has very long white hair styled in a plait running up to her back. Her body is partially covered by white scales which also covering a small part of her face, enhancing her natural beauty. She has white fur line running from her neck to her back, which leads down to a furry tail. Due to her habitat, she wears a white fur coat that leaves a part of her legs and her belly are naked. She often keeps them hidden but her belly can easily pop out of her coat.
She also wears a polished set of armor, it’s so shiny that it looks like silver. This armor was specially made for her when she got her first Grav. The blacksmith wanted to make a protection for Irina’s belly, but the girl refused as she felt she could grow much more than she was at the start, and she didn’t wanted to broke a such beautiful work.
Also, she kept a little souvenir from her meeting with the grizzly. Her left leg still has a scar on the un-scaled part. A kind of legacy by her first combat experience and a reminder to never down her guard.
Possessions
When she decided to leave the village, each member of Irina’s family decided to cut a little strand of their hairs to put it on an amulet, closed by a sapphire. This is maybe the most precious thing that she has. Not that the sapphire was particularly expensive, but the reminder of her family was more important than anything to her.
Irina’s armor was specifically designed for her body. She fits in it very well and the ingenuity behind the armor makes it to where she can equip the armor herself with not assistance. The process still takes a while but at least she doesn't need external help to wear it.

Curse you, sleep schedules, time zones, and general linear progression of events!
(Jokes aside, the art is gorgeous, and she's got a fun backstory and some thought put into her race and culture. This is the kind of character sheet I like to see.)
I just need to know if I'm chosen and when I'm playing, that I can organize my schedule to stay awake at night to succeed to reach the game
But your're right, time zones are a pain!
Also you've been doing Maiesta art here and there before so it's nice to finally have you actually in the game. ^_^
I live in France and I eared that the games are running about 5:00pm or later, until 11
She reminds me a bit of Crossbreed Priscilla though owo
I used the race builder to create details about Priscilla's specie
Then I turned it into peoples in a kind of mix between vikings/Russians.
(I don't know if you should thank me for the spell check, I probably missed a fair bit XP)
So for me it deserve thanks
I'm not impatient to see when I'll have the occasion to play her
