Summary
     Jungkook is Taehyung's mate, he is sure of that. Even though Jungkook
     is a human and Taehyung is a werewolf.
     Taehyung knew this since the first time he saw the boy in the woods.
Notes
     Soo, this is my first story ever here and also the first fanfiction I
     wrote since I was in middle school.
     It also is my first story ever to be written in English, so please
     excuse my mistakes, English is not my first language.
     But nonetheless I hope that some of you guys will read and like this.

***** Chapter 1 *****
The first time Taehyung saw Jungkook was, when he was 10 years old.

Taehyung was on his way home from playing, when he saw a human boy, a few years
younger than himself, sitting on the ground, crying. He was all alone and
probably got lost in the woods.

Taehyung was told, not to talk to humans, unless it was an emergency, because
only a few humans knew of his kind and they wanted it to stay that way. That’s
why he hesitated to go talk to the boy.
But only for a few seconds.
A lost child was an emergency, right? At least for him it was emergency enough
and he approached the boy.
As he got closer, he couldn’t help, but notice the nice smell, that seemed to
come from the crying boy. He instinctively knew, that the boy was special, his
mate.
Taehyung was still too young to completely understand the whole concept of what
being mates meant, but he had heard enough about it, to have a basic idea of
how it worked.
>br /> When he was only about a meter away from the boy, he called out to him.
„Hey, are you ok?“

The boy’s head shot up and he looked at him, startled, tears still running down
his face.
Taehyung felt sad just by looking at him. The boy just continued to stare at
him, not saying anything, so Taehyung spoke again.
„Are you lost?“

The kid nodded his head.

„Do live in the village right next to the woods?“

Another nod from the boy.

„I see. Come, I’ll show you the way back.“
Taehyung smiled and held out his hand to the boy, to help him get up.

Hesitantly the boy grabbed his hand and Taehyung pulled him upright.

„I’m Taehyung.“, he introduced himself with a smile. „What’s your name?“

„Jungkook.“

The boy spoke with a quiet, soft voice and Taehyung took an instant liking to
it.

„Nice to meet you, Jungkook.“, he said and started walking in the direction of
the village, still haven’t let go of Jungkook’s hand.

On the way to the village, Taehyung asked Jungkook some more questions.
He learned, that Jungkook was 2 years younger than him, that he just recently
moved here with his family and that we was going to start going to school next
week. Jungkook also told him, that his house was the one, closest to the woods
and Taehyung took in all the information he could get about him.

When the trees began to thin out and they could already see some houses,
Taehyung stopped.

„You’ll be able to find your way home from here on, right?“, Taehyung asked.

Jungkook looked at him slightly confused.

„I have to go back now, I need to be back before it gets dark.“, he explained.
Which was kind of a lie, his parents actually never expected him to come back
before it got dark, but he wasn’t allowed to enter the village. His parents and
the rest of the pack said, that it’d be dangerous for him.

Jungkook nodded his head sadly. He didn’t want Taehyung to go, he kind of liked
him. He was different than the kids in the village.
„I understand, but will I get to see you again?“

Taehyung flashed a boxy grin.
„Of course!“

Jungkook smiled at him and then started walking towards his house and Taehyung
watched him go.

When Jungkook got closer to his home, his mother came running.
„Jungkook! Where have you been? I was so worried!“,she said and hugged the boy
tightly.

Jungkook told her, that he got lost in the woods, while he was playing and that
a young boy found him and showed him the way back home.

His mother wanted to know who the boy was, but when Jungkook turned around to
point at Taehyung, the other boy was already gone.

Strange, Jungkook thought, he swore he saw him not even a minute ago still
standing there and there was no way, for the other to get out of sight so
quickly and quietly. But he just shrugged it off, telling his mom, he would
show her his new friend next time.


Taehyung had watched Jungkook for a bit, but when he heard his mother asking
about him, he left. Quick and quiet, so he wouldn’t be seen. He was a werewolf
after all.

He returned home, taking the shortest way he knew.

He was excited and wanted to tell his mother about Jungkook. Taehyung had a
close relationship with his parents, especially with his mom.
So when he arrived at his packs village, he instantly went home to his mother,
without talking to any of the other pack members or playing with the other
children first, like he usually did.

His mom was in the kitchen, cooking dinner, when he entered.

„Oh, Taehyung, you’re home early today.“, she said with and smiled at him over
her shoulder.

„Mom, can I tell you something?“

„Of course, honey.“

Taehyung took a deep breath.

„I-I think I found my mate. And he’s a human.“, he said at last.

His mother stopped what she was doing to look at him.
„Are you sure, honey? You’re still really young and you said, he’s a human?“

Taehyung nodded, he was sure of it.

His mother sighed.
„Oh boy, I always knew you were special.“, she said with a small laugh.

Finding ones mate at such a young age, wasn’t that rare, but for said mate to
be human, that was quite uncommon.
Taehyung smiled slightly.

„I’m happy you found your mate, but be careful, ok? You know it won’t be easy.“

„I know.“
***** Chapter 2 *****
After their first encounter, Jungkook would go into the woods every day and
somehow Taehyung would always be there, either already waiting or coming as
soon as Jungkook entered the forest.

The bond Taehyung had with Jungkook would always let him feel, when the human
got closer to him, so he would go meet him.

They spent a lot of time together, talking and playing. Jungkook would tell him
about school and the friends he made, Jimin and Hoseok and Taehyung would
listen to every word the boy spoke.

In turn Taehyung would talk about his day, his family and how boring it was
without Jungkook, but he would never tell Jungkook the fact that werewolves
existed, that he was one himself and that Jungkook was his mate, this could
wait.
He planned to tell Jungkook everything once he was 17 and had presented.
He also wouldn’t ever leave the woods and eventually Jungkook’s parents started
to think that the boy Jungkook always talked about, was not real but an
imaginary friend. At first they didn’t really think anything about it, because
many children had imaginary friends. But when the years passed by and Jungkook
still talked about going to see Taehyung, they started to worry.

One day when Jungkook said, he’d go meet up with Taehyung again his Mom decided
to talk to him. She actually wanted to do it together with her husband, but he
was at work and now was a good chance.

„Jungkook, can I talk to you first, before you go?“ she asked and gestured for
Jungkook to sit next to her on the couch.

Once Jungkook sat down, she took a deep breath and started talking.
„Jungkook, honey, are you alright?“

Her son looked at her confused.
„Yes, of course, why wouldn’t I be?“

„You meet up with Taehyung a lot.“

„So? It’s always been that way, why are asking about it now?“

„Because…your Dad and I think it’s strange, that you’ve been friends with this
Taehyung for such a long time now and we still haven’t even seen him once. So
we started to think, that maybe…“, she trailed off.

„That maybe what, Mom?“

„That Taehyung isn’t real and you’re seeing things, that are not there. You
know, like an imaginary friend. You started talking about him, right after we
moved here, so maybe you made him up, because you were lonely. Which is fine,
because many children do that, but you’re 14 now and you have made friends
here, so we think there might be something wro-“

„You think I’m crazy.“ Jungkook interrupted her.

„No, that’s not what I was trying to say.“ she was quick to defend herself.

„Then what were you trying to say?“

Silence.

Jungkook huffed annoyed.
„Well, nice to know my own parents think I have a screw lose.“ he growled, got
up and started walking away.

„Jungkook, wait…!“ his mother called after him, but Jungkook had already left
the house and slammed the door shut.

His mother sighed and let her head hang. This didn’t go like she had planned.


Jungkook was furious as he entered the woods.
He was just far enough in, that he couldn’t see the village anymore, when
Taehyung appeared.

As soon as Jungkook noticed his presence he started to calm down. He didn’t
know why, but Taehyung presence alone always had a really calming affect on
him. The other boy didn’t even need to do anything.

„Hey, what’s wrong?“ Taehyung asked as he got closer.
He already felt Jungkook’s anger even before he could see him.

Jungkook huffed and let himself slide down a tree, so he was sitting on the
ground with his knees pulled up.

„My parents think I’m crazy.“

„Well, you are.“ Taehyung joked, trying to lighten the mood, but Jungkook only
glanced at him for a second. So Taehyung knew, that the boy was really upset
this time.

„Not like this, like seeing things that aren’t there, crazy.“

„Oh, how come?“ Taehyung asked as he sat down next to his mate.

„They think you aren’t real, that I made you up, because they haven’t seen you
once in all the years.“

„Ah I see, well it’s understandable. I would think you’re crazy too, if I
didn’t know, I was real.“

Jungkook huffed out a small laugh at that.
„Can’t you come with me, just once? So I can show them, that you’re real and
I’m not crazy?“

„Kookie you know I’m not allowed to leave the woods.“

Jungkook sighed.
„I know. I still don’t know the reason why though. Why won’t you tell me?“

„I can’t, not yet at least. I’ll tell you everything eventually, but it’s still
too early.“

Jungkook just nodded sadly.
It pained Taehyung to see his mate so upset, so he started to think.

Werewolves were only allowed to leave the woods, once they turned 17. But maybe
he could ask his pack Alpha if he could do an exception for him, just once.

„I’m gonna figure something out, to make your parents believe you, Kookie.
Don’t worry, you’ll not have to see a psychiatrist.“

He ruffled the younger’s hair and pulled him closer to him.

Jungkook looked at him with hopeful eyes and Taehyung’s heart started beating
faster.
„Really?“

The older boy nodded and Jungkook flashed a bright smile as he hugged the other
and buried his face in his chest.

„You’re the best.“

„Yeah, I know. But I don’t promise anything, I can only try.“ Taehyung
clarified and started stroking the other’s hair.
„That’s enough.“ Jungkook mumbled against his chest.


The first thing Taehyung did, when he was back home, was go look for his friend
Namjoon, who’s also the next in line pack Alpha.

He found him in the living room of the pack house, together with his mate Jin
and their other friend Yoongi.

„Hey Tae, aren’t you supposed to spend time with your mate right now?“ Yoongi
asked, when he entered the room.

„Yeah, but he’s upset and I need to fix that, that’s why I’m here.“

„What did you do to him?“ Jin asked and sat up, from where he was laying in
Namjoon’s lap.

„I didn’t do anything. His parents are the cause.“ he was quick to explain, so
that the older Omega wouldn’t get any wrong ideas.

„His parents think he is imagining me, because they haven’t seen me before and
are probably thinking about sending him to some psychiatrist.“

„What?“ Namjoon spoke this time „That’s stupid.“

„Yeah, I have the same opinion on that, but that’s how it is. So I wanted to
ask your Dad, if he’d be so kind to let me leave the forest for a bit, to talk
to Jungkook’s parents and convince them, that I’m indeed a very real person.
And I wanted to ask you, if you could help with that.“

„How should I help you?“

„I don’t know, Namjoon. Just help me convince him, you’re his son. He might be
nicer to me, if you’re with me.“

„I don’t know, if my presence would do much.“

„Please, at least try.“, Taehyung begged.

„Come on, Joonie. It’s not like you have anything to lose. Help him.“ Jin said.

„Ok, I’ll see what I can do.“ the Alpha sighed.
***** Chapter 3 *****
When Jungkook got home, he avoided his Mom and went straight up to his room.
Even though spending time with Taehyung calmed him down, he was still pissed at
his mother.

He let himself fall into his bed and groaned annoyed. After a while he got up
again to take a shower and decided to go to sleep right after, so he wouldn’t
start to think about his Mom sending him to some psychiatrist. He rolled his
eyes at that thought.

„I hope Tae really can figure something out.“, he mumbled, when he was clean
and lying in his bed again, with his face pressed against one of his pillows.


Meanwhile Taehyung and Namjoon had talked to the pack Alpha.
It had taken a lot of reasoning and begging, Taehyung making something up to
make Jungkook’s situation seem worse than it was and him saying „But he’s my
mate, I’ve got to keep him safe!“ and Namjoon nodding along to his lies, for
the Alpha to finally give in with a sigh.
„Fine, but only this once and only for one day. You won’t leave the woods again
after that until you’ve presented. Is that clear?“

„Crystal clear! Thank you very much, Alpha.“ Taehyung said and beamed up at
him.

The Alpha’s eyes softened a bit.
„You guys will give me gray hair…I don’t want to hear a word, Namjoon!“ the
pack Alpha called out before Namjoon could point out, that he already had some
gray hairs and the younger Alpha snapped his already open mouth shut, smiling
sheepishly.

„You’re leaving the woods tomorrow, right kid?“ he asked Taehyung, who nodded
his head.

The Alpha nodded as well and signaled the boys, that they could leave now.

„Well, that went smoother than I anticipated.“ Taehyung said, when Namjoon
closed the door to the Alpha’s office after them.

„We made fools out of ourselves.“, he grumbled, but Taehyung only laughed.

„Nonsense, I had a perfectly understandable reason to go talk to him.“

„You know, that he could see right through your lies, right? They weren’t
really convincing.“
„Why did you agree with them then?“

„Because I’m a good friend?“

„Yeah, right.“, Taehyung snorted and Namjoon looked at him, fake offended.

„Well, you can just deal with all your stupid problems on your own from now on
then. I’m not gonna help you out anymore. The shitty friend is out, yo.“ he
said and walked away.

Taehyung laughed out loud and called after him.
„Wait, I didn’t mean it like that! Come back!“

But Namjoon only flipped him off with a grin on his face and stuck his tongue
out, which made Taehyung laugh even more.

„See you around then!“

Once Taehyung had calmed down, he left the pack house to go to his own. He saw
his parents watching TV in the living room and decided to join them.

„Hey, honey. How was your day?“ his mother asked and he told her about Jungkook
and that he talked to the pack Alpha.
She looked at him with a worried expression.

„Will Jungkook be alright?“, she asked and it kind of warmed Taehyung’s heart
that she was concerned about his mate.

„Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it.“ he reassured her and his Dad told him to
be careful, when he left the woods. After that they didn’t talk about it
anymore for the rest of the evening.
When it became kinda late, Taehyung went to bed. He had to look his best
tomorrow and he couldn’t do that, when he was sleep deprived.
Before he fell asleep he thought about what he was going to say tomorrow.
 
The next day Taehyung left the wolves’ village at around midday to go to the
human’s village.

He only had one day and he decided to use it to its fullest. If he left now,
he’d be able to meet Jungkook when the boy came home from school and they’d be
able to spend some time outside of the woods for the first time. After he made
sure, that his parents are no longer doubting his sanity, of course.

After a few minutes he found himself standing in front of Jungkook’s house. His
mate wasn’t home yet, he could feel it, but that didn’t really matter.

It felt kind of strange to stand all out in the open, without any trees around
him.

He took one last deep breath and pressed the doorbell. < br /> Jungkook once
told him, that his Mom wasn’t working so she should be home right now. And he
was right, after not even a minute the door opened and a familiar looking woman
stood in the doorway. Taehyung had seen her many times already, when he watched
Jungkook leave.

„Hi, can I help you?“ she asked, looking him up and down once.

Taehyung smiled at her.
„Jungkook told me that you’re not believing him that I exist, so I’m here to
prove, that he’s right and not at all insane. Let me introduce myself. I’m Kim
Taehyung, Jungkook’s friend.“

The woman’s jaw dropped and the wolf had to hold back a laugh. It was really
funny to watch her search for words.

„I…you…You’re Taehyung?“ she asked.

„Yes, that’s what I just said.“

She couldn't believe what she’d just heard, but as she looked closer at the
boy, she noticed that he did look a lot like Jungkook had described his friend
to her. She ran her hand through her hair, trying to calm down.
„Wow, I’m sorry, I’m a little confused right now.“

„Oh no, I’m sorry. It must have been pretty sudden.“

She just nodded, but then she smiled at him and it reminded him so much of
Jungkook that he couldn’t help but to return it.
„Anyway, do you want to come in? Jungkook should be home now soon as well.“

Taehyung accepted the invitation with a polite nod and entered the house. He
could smell Jungkook’s scent everywhere now and he had to close his eyes for a
moment to calm himself down as he followed his mate’s mother to the kitchen.
***** Chapter 4 *****
Jungkook’s mother couldn’t help but stare at the boy, who had introduced
himself as Kim Taehyung. The boy she thought didn’t exist and she and her
husband were so sure of that fact too, but now he was here, seated at their
kitchen table while she made lunch.

„So, Taehyung“ she started „how come I haven’t gotten to see you before?“

„Ah, well…my parents are rather strict and they never allowed me to go farther
than a certain distance away from our house.“, he explained with a smile.

The woman nodded her head.
„But you’re…how old are you now? 16?“

„Yeah, I know. They’re kind of overprotective, but I love them and I don’t want
to worry them, so I follow their rules.“ he said matter of factly, like he
wasn’t making all of this up as he spoke. He was quite a good liar, if he said
so himself.

„Ah I see, but don’t you have to go to school?“
„No, I’m homeschooled. My parents don’t like the education system and so do I,
so I’m quite happy, that I don’t have to go to school.“

„Wow, that’s impressive! I never would have been able to let Jungkook get
homeschooled. We don’t have the money for that, and I myself wouldn’t have been
smart enough.“ she said with a soft laugh at the end and then went back to
finish cooking lunch.

Jungkook’s mother glanced at the clock.

„Jungkook should be home any minute now.“ she told him and Taehyung hummed in
agreement, he could feel the boy getting closer. And like they predicted it,
the front door opened not even a minute later and Jungkook walked in.

„Mom, I’m home!“, he called out.

„We’re in the kitchen, honey!“ she answered and Taehyung started to smile,
wondering how Jungkook will react, when he sees him.

„We? Who else is he-?“ he asked when he walked in the kitchen and stopped mid
sentence, when he saw Taehyung sitting at the table.
„Taehyung?!“ he asked, surprise written all over his face and frozen on the
spot. „What are you doing here?“

„Proving your sanity to your Mom.“ Taehyung answered with a big grin on his
face now, barely able to contain his laughter at the boy’s expression.

„Oh my god, you really did think of something.“ Jungkook laughed and relaxed
again, once he got over his surprise, and sat down next to Taehyung.

„Gosh, you really are the best.“ he said and ruffled the older’s hair.

„I know, I know, I’m amazing.“ the wolf said with a laugh, trying to save his
hairstyle, that Jungkook destroyed just now. Damn, he spent a long time on his
hair today.

„And you know what’s even more amazing?“ the older asked.

His mate looked at him curiously.
„What?“

„I’m allowed to spend the whole day out here.“, he grinned and Jungkook broke
out in a beaming smile.

„Really? That’s so awesome!“

The human threw his arms around the other and hugged him tightly. Taehyung
laughed and hugged him back.
Jungkook’s mother watched the pair with a fond look on her face, before she
spoke.

„Ok boys, lunch is ready. Jungkook, can you set the table?“


After lunch, Jungkook’s mother went out to run some errands and left the boys
to do the dishes.

„So, we have the whole day to do whatever we want now, right?“ Jungkook asked
and Taehyung nodded.

„Well, what do you want to do then?“

The older shrugged.
„Don’t know. I didn’t really think about that.“

Jungkook laughed.
„Really Tae? You get one day to leave the woods and go wherever you want and
you don’t even think about where you want to go?“

„No, as long as I’m spending time with you, I honestly don’t care. I really
wanna see your room though.“

„You sap, but fine with me. I don’t feel like going out anyway.“ Jungkook said,
a light flush on his face. Taehyung’s words just now made him feel a little
warm and fuzzy inside.
Of course the older noticed, but he decided to not point it out. It still made
him happy though.

Once they’ve washed all the dishes, dried them off and put everything back to
where it belongs, they went upstairs to Jungkook’s room. Taehyung was exited
but did his best to not make it too obvious.

When Jungkook opened the door to his bedroom Taehyung took a moment to brace
himself before entering the room.
He was instantly hit with a wall of Jungkook’s smell and he involuntarily
gasped. He felt slightly overwhelmed, but only for a moment before he managed
to get a grip of himself again and calm his quickly beating heart down.

Jungkook didn’t seem like he had noticed anything. He had put down his
backpack, which he brought upstairs with him and taken off his jacket.
When he turned around, he saw Taehyung looking around the room, taking in his
surroundings.

„I’m sorry, it’s messy. I haven’t expected someone other than me to enter it
for a while.“ Jungkook said and rubbed at the back of his neck.

„No, it’s fine. I don’t mind. I prefer rooms that are a bit messier over really
clean ones anyway“ Taehyung said and smiled reassuringly at him.

„I see. So what do you want to do now?“

„What do you have to offer?“

„Uhm…I usually just play video games.“, he said, after looking around his room
and not finding anything else to do.

„Than let’s play.“ Taehyung said and clapped his hands once excitedly.

„Do you know how to play? Living in your forest village and all.“

„Oh yes I do, you better prepare yourself to get your ass kicked!“ the older
announced confidently with a grin on his face.

„Ok, bring it on.“

They set Jungkook’s Playstation up and started playing immediately.

They were pretty much both on the same level, but in the end Taehyung ended up
winning more rounds.
Jungkook let himself fall back with a groan.
„That was so close! It’s not fair, you cheated!“

„How did I cheat, huh?“

„I don’t know, but you somehow did!“ the younger whined.

„Bullshit, I’m just better than you. Now stop whining, brat.“
He pinched Jungkook in his upper thigh, which made the younger yelp and curl in
on himself.
„You’re so mean to me!“

Taehyung couldn’t help but to laugh at that. His mate was cute.

„Wow, it’s already dark outside. What time is it?“ Jungkook then said with his
normal voice again.

Taehyung looked at the alarm clock on Jungkook’s nightstand and his eyes
widened in surprise. It was already 8pm.

„Wow, time really flies by, when you’re beating someone’s ass.“, he said and
Jungkook made a offended noise at that.
„Hey, stop bullying me.“

The wolf laughed again.
„Aww Kookie, you know I’d never do that.“ he said and reached out for the
younger to pull him in his lap.

„What are you doing, creep?“ Jungkook asked from his new position.

Taehyung put his arms around him and looked up at him.
„Cuddling.“

„Sometimes I think you’re just a big puppy.“

„You’re not that far off…“, he mumbled.

„What?“

„Nothing.“

Jungkook sighed and started stroking the others hair.
„Are you going to stay overnight?“ he then asked and Tae hummed.

„If I’m allowed to.“

„Of course you are!“

„Then I’m staying.“ the older said, smiling against his mate’s chest.

The two stayed in that position and cuddled for a bit.
Jungkook still couldn’t believe that Taehyung was in his room. How many times
had he already asked him to come over, but he was never allowed until today.
It made Jungkook really happy and a unfamiliar calm feeling overcame him. He
smiled and laid his head on Taehyung’s.
„I’m glad you’re here.“ Jungkook said.

„Why?“

„This might sound weird now, but it makes me feel calm to have you at my side.
I’ve never felt like this about any other of my friends. It’s strange, I don’t
know.“ the younger tried to explain the feeling.

Taehyung smiled. His mate was slowly starting to feel their connection more and
more as he got older. It made him incredible happy. Soon he’d be able to tell
him about it.
„It’s not strange at all, I feel the same.“

„Really?“

Jungkook lifted his head again to look at his friend. Taehyung only hummed in
response.
„It’s natural, don’t worry about it.“

Jungkook wanted to keep asking, but he somehow knew, that Taehyung wouldn’t
give him any answers, so he settled on just leaving the topic be for now.

„Do you want to take a shower?“ Jungkook changed the topic.

„Why? Do I stink?“

„No, not at all. I’m just offering.“

„Yeah ok, I think I’ll take you up on that offer.“

„Ok, I’ll show you were the bathroom is.“

Jungkook got up from Taehyung’s lap and held a hand out to help the older up.

The human lead Taehyung to the bathroom, opposite of his room and showed him
how the shower worked.
„I’m gonna bring some clothes for you to put on when you’re done. You can get
in the shower already.“ Jungkook said.

„You’re not going to join me?“ Taehyung joked and wiggled his eyebrows.

„No, I’m not going to, perv! Now get in the shower, before I kick you out.“
Jungkook laughed and left the bathroom to get the older some clothes.

He chose a pair of boxers, sweatpants and an oversized shirt of his. Because
Taehyung was bigger than him it would probably fit him perfectly.

He heard the water running, so he knocked on the door and told the other boy,
that he put the clothes in front of the door. After that he went down to the
kitchen to grab some snacks and something to drink for the both of them. His
mother had prepared some sandwiches, so he took them upstairs as well.

In the meantime Taehyung was taking his shower. He figured out which shower gel
and shampoo were Jungkook’s with one sniff and is using them now. It made him
feel contend to smell similar to his mate.

When he was done, he dried of and changed into the clothes Jungkook laid out
for him. Then he returned to Jungkook’s room.

„Oh Tae, you’re done already. I brought you something to eat and drink. Help
yourself to it, I’m gonna take a shower as well now.“ he said and got up from
his spot on the bed.

Jungkook took his pajama pants and a shirt and left to the bathroom.

Taehyung sat down on the younger’s bed and took one of the water bottles the
other had brought upstairs. He drank about half of it, before grabbing one of
the sandwiches.

While he munched on the snack, he took his time to let his eyes wander through
his mate’s room again. On the desk were some school supplies and books as well
as what seemed to be a sketchbook.
Curious, Taehyung got up and walked over to the desk. It was indeed a
sketchbook.

Taehyung finished his sandwich and wiped his hands of on his pants, as to not
get any stains on the paper.
He picked the sketchbook up and sat back down on the bed with it. He carefully
flipped through the pages and looked at the drawings. Some were only simple
sketches, others were fully done drawings, some realistic, some cartoonish, but
all very beautiful.

He heard his mate coming back and looked up.

Jungkook was standing in the door, his hair still wet and a towel hanging
around his neck. Taehyung’s mouth felt dry all of a sudden.
„What are you doing?“ Jungkook asked.

„I didn’t know you could draw.“ Taehyung said, instead of answering the
question, because the answer was quite obvious.

Jungkook scoffed.
„Well, that’s because, I can’t draw.“

Taehyung looked at him like he had grown a second head.
„Are you kidding me? These are really good!“

„Meh, they’re ok. Thanks for the compliment though.“ He walked in and took the
sketchbook out of the wolf’s hands.

„I like them a lot. You should draw something for me.“

Jungkook smiled.
„Maybe one day, when I’m better at it.“

The younger sat down next on the bed next to Taehyung and drank some water.

„You didn’t eat?“ Jungkook asked and pointed at the sandwiches with his head.

„I did eat one, they’re good. You should eat one too.“Jungkook shook his head.

„No, I’m full, you can eat another one. When you’re done can you put the plate
on the desk?“
Taehyung nodded, took another sandwich and put the rest on the desk.

After that they spent another hour talking and fooling around before they got
tired and decided to go to sleep.

„Where should I sleep?“ Taehyung asked.

„On the bed? I don’t take up a whole queen sized bed, I’m not that fat.“
Jungkook said and turned the light off.

„You and fat? Sure. Ok then, scoot over.“

Taehyung laid down next to Jungkook.
„I warn you, I cuddle people in my sleep.“ Taehyung said warned.

„Go ahead, I don’t care. It’s not like we don't cuddle all the time.“

„True.“

Taehyung grinned his boxy grin and put his arm around Jungkook.
Jungkook returned the smile and closed his eyes.

„Good night, Tae.“

„Good night, Kookie.“

If you’d asked them later, they both would say, that they’ve never slept this
good until that night.

Taehyung was curled around Jungkook protectively, his nose burrowed in his
mate’s neck and Jungkook’s head resting on his shoulder, their legs
intertwined.

Taehyung was the first one to wake up in the morning, right when the sun was
starting to shine through the window.
Jungkook was still fast asleep, he usually slept in on the weekends.

Taehyung felt his heart beat faster as he watched his mate's sleeping form.
Face relaxed, pink lips opened just a bit to let little puffs of air out and
hair messy. It was a beautiful sight and the older couldn’t bring himself to
look away.

He slowly brought one hand up and gently petted Jungkook’s hair, trying his
best to not wake the other up.

Jungkook’s hair was even soft than it looked, the dark strands gliding through
his fingers smoothly.
Taehyung froze in his spot, when Jungkook mumbled something and his nose
scrunched up cutely. The wolf realized, that the human was just mumbling
something in his sleep and relaxed again, a fond smile on his face.
„So cute.“ he whispered and continued stroking Jungkook’s hair.

After an hour or so Jungkook started to wake up as well.
Taehyung was still petting his hair, when Jungkook opens his eyes slightly.

„What are you doing?“ he asked softly, voice still heavy with sleep, not
wanting to brake the silence in the room.

„Morning, Kookie. Did you sleep well?“ Taehyung asked with a smile, only
talking a little louder than Jungkook, taking his hand off the others head when
he sat up.

The human nodded and rubbed his eyes.
„What time is it?“ he asked.

Taehyung stretched to take a look at the alarm clock on Jungkook’s nightstand.
„8:30“

„God, it’s still so early. I usually get up around 11 on weekends.“ Jungkook
yawned.

Taehyung laughed.
„You’re sleeping half the day away?“

„Well, yeah. It’s not like I have a lot to do on weekends anyways.“

„You’re gonna go back to sleep?“

„Nah, I’m awake already now, it’s too late to go back to sleep now, without
having a headache the next time I wake up.“ Jungkook said and got out of bed.

„Wanna have breakfast?“ he asked and put his arms over his head to stretch,
which made his shirt ride up a little.

„Sure.“ Taehyung said a little distracted with staring at Jungkook’s exposed
stomach.

Jungkook didn’t notice.

„Ok, then let’s go. Come on.“

Taehyung did as he was told and got out of bed. Together they went down to the
kitchen. Jungkook’s parents were nowhere to be seen.

„They like to sleep in as well. It’ll probably take another hour or two for
them to get up.“ Jungkook explained, when he noticed Taehyung looking around.

„Anyway, what do you want to eat?“

„I don’t know, what do you have to offer?“

„Uhm…we could make Pancakes or bacon and eggs…or we could just have simple
cereal.“

Taehyung didn’t even need to think about the answer.
„Pancakes!“ he almost yelled and threw his hands up. „I want pancakes!“

Jungkook laughed.
„Ok then, Pancakes it is.“

They worked together to make the food and it went surprisingly smoothly.

After the last pancake was made they sat down at the kitchen table to enjoy
their food. They didn’t talk much. When they were done Jungkook was the first
to speak again.

„When do you have to go back?“

„I don’t know, they didn’t set a time, so I’ll just go with the time I usually
have to be back today."

Jungkook nodded.

„So, what do you want to do today? We have plenty of time.“
Taehyung thought about for a minute. What could they do today?
„Show me the village. I want to know where everything is. The bakery, the
school, the shops. I’m gonna be able to leave the woods soon, so I want to kind
of know my way around here and that’s probably my only chance until I turn 17.“

The younger nodded.
„Alright then. Let’s do the dishes real quick and then we can go.“

They did the dishes like yesterday, Taehyung washed them and Jungkook dried
them off and put them back where they belonged. After they were done they went
back to Jungkook’s room again to get dressed.

„You can chose whatever you like, or more like whatever fits.“ Jungkook said,
pointing at his closet, after he took out clothes for himself and started to
get dressed.

Taehyung tried his best not to stare at him, but it was hard. So much exposed
skin. He bit his lip and groaned internally as he felt his lower region
reacting. He was a teenager seeing his mate undress before him, could you blame
him?

He quickly turned around and chose another pair of sweatpants and a shirt.
„I’m just going to take a quick shower again. I kind of sweat a lot during the
night.“
„Okay.“ Jungkook only said, not paying much attention to him and Taehyung was
really glad about that as he left for the bathroom with a pretty noticeable
tent in his pants.

He groaned loudly, once he closed and locked the door behind him.
„Really? Now? You where just fine yesterday.“ he grumbled, undressed and got in
the shower.

After he took care of his little problem, he dried off and put the clothes he
brought with him on.

He unlocked the door again and opened it, so that Jungkook would know, he was
free to come in again.

They spent a few minutes doing their hair together and then left the house to
take a walk around the village.

     I'm sorry that I haven't updated for so long, but first I was busy
     with exams and then I started my summer job. It's my first time
     actually working, so I was exhausted every day, but now I'm kinda
     used to it, so I'll probably write more again.

The first thing Jungkook showed Taehyung once they’ve left the house, was the
supermarket.
Taehyung wanted to see the school first, but Jungkook insisted on going to the
store to buy them something to drink, so they wouldn’t have to walk in circles,
if they'd end up getting thirsty later on.

Jungkook then proceeded to show him the school, the bakery, the police station,
the small coffeeshop and restaurant and at last the playground.

They decided to take a break at the playground and sat down on the swings.

„You know, when we were little, I always wanted to bring you here.“, Jungkook
said, swinging back and forth a little and playing with his water bottle.

„Really? That’s cute.“, Taehyung smiled fondly at the younger boy.

Jungkook snorted.
„Well yeah, I was always really shy and never really got involved with the
other kids here. I always kept to myself more, so I didn’t really get to play
here, because playing by yourself is stupid, right?“

„What about these other friends of yours? Jimin and Hoseok? Didn’t they come to
play here?“ Taehyung leaned forward a little to look at Jungkook’s face.
The boy had a slightly sad smile on his lips and Taehyung’s heart ached.

„Ah yeah, I haven’t met them yet then. I’ve only met them, when I started
middle school, but by then I wasn’t interested in playing at the playground
anymore. Until then I didn’t have any friends. I even got made fun of, because
I was so shy. Children can be really mean, you know?“

Taehyung was taken aback a little and stared at the younger.
„You’ve never told me about that. Why not?“

Jungkook just shrugged his shoulders.
„I don’t know. It didn’t have anything to do with you and I always knew, that
you actually cared for me, so I didn’t want you to feel down, because of
something that happened to me and that you couldn’t change anyway or something
like that. I can’t remember what I was thinking back then, I just know, that
spending time with you always made me feel better.“ Jungkook looked up from the
ground and smiled at the wolf and honestly Taehyung was at a loss of words. He
just wanted to hug the boy, so that’s what he did.
The older got up and pulled Jungkook to his feet as well, before he wrapped his
arms around the other and pulled him close.

„I don’t know if I should be sad or happy right now.“ the older said and
Jungkook giggled.

„Be happy, it suits you way better.“

Taehyung pulled back a little, so that Jungkook could see his face and flashed
his boxy grin, which made the younger smile as well.

„See? I told you it suits you well.“ Jungkook said, smile getting wider until
he started to laugh and Taehyung joined him.

Once they’ve caught their breaths again Jungkook pulled out his phone to take a
look at the time. It was only noon.
„What do you want to do for the rest of the day? You still have a few hours
left until you need to return home, right?“

„I don’t know, I only know, that I’m starting to become really hungry.“

„We could go home, grab some food and a few drinks and make a picnic?“ Jungkook
suggested and Taehyung was quick to agree.

On their way back to Jungkook’s house, they stopped at the supermarket to grab
some ingredients they’d need to make sandwiches and some bottles of water.

At home they prepared the food and packed it in a large backpack. Jungkook also
put a blanket and a few bottles of beer in it. His parents allowed him to drink
beer as long as he didn’t overdo it, so he wasn’t worried about getting scolded
later.

Once everything was packed, they left the house again.
Taehyung insisted on carrying the backpack, so Jungkook let him.

Jungkook lead the way down to the river. He said, it’s a secret spot that
basically no-one, but him knew about. He discovered it once by accident.
The fact, that he decided to show it to Taehyung made his heart swell a bit.

The place Jungkook lead him to, was hidden by bushes and if one would’t know
about the small opening, that was hidden behind a bunch of pine trees, they’d
never think that there’s a way through. But it was beautiful and Taehyung’s
wolf side, felt really proud at his mate for finding such a nice spot.

„Wow, it’s beautiful.“ he said as Jungkook was taking the backpack from him and
spreading out the blanket.

„I know, right? I just love it here. When I’m not with you, I spend most of my
time here.“, he said with a big happy grin on his face.

Once everything was set out they started eating.

„God, I’m starving!“, groaned Taehyung and took a huge bite of the sandwich.

Jungkook couldn’t help but laugh at the older, when Taehyung looked over, he
could see amusement and fondness in the others eyes, which made him feel really
happy.

Jungkook was starting to feel their bond more and more. That’s good.


When they were finished eating Jungkook took out the beer bottles and handed
one to Taehyung, before opening one for himself.

They talked a lot then, it’s amazing how they never seem to run out of things
to talk about.

The spent a few hours like that, in they end, they drank more beer than they’ve
meant to and because they both weren’t really used to alcohol, they got tipsy.

In the end they ended up in a tickle fight with Taehyung on top and Jungkook
squealing under him, trying to escape his hands. Neither of them even quite
remembered how they got into this situation.

All that Taehyung knew was that Jungkook was incredibly ticklish and that his
laughters were incredibly cute and that he looked incredibly good under him. So
when he stopped tickling the younger and they just looked directly into each
others eyes for a few moments, he couldn’t help but to lean down and press his
lips against Jungkook’s.
It was only for a second before he pulled back again.

Jungkook looked up at him with wide eyes, seemingly frozen in place and
Taehyung felt uneasiness grow in his stomach.

„Sorry, I should’t have…“, but before he could finish talking and moving off
the younger, Jungkook grabbed his wrist.

Taehyung looked at him again then and his breath hitched.
The other boy was biting his lower lip, a blush high on his cheeks.

„No, it’s…it’s ok. I-I liked it.“, he said quietly and now Taehyung was the one
frozen in place until Jungkook put his hand at the back of Taehyung’s neck and
pulled him down to connect their lips once again.

Chapter Notes
     Well, 3 month have passed and I haven't updated...I'm really sorry. I
     honestly have no excuse other than not feeling like writing. I'm not
     even gonna promise to update more now, because I just don't know if
     I'll feel like writing or not. Please forgive me.
They spent the rest of their time together exchanging chaste kisses and
cuddling.
Taehyung couldn’t believe his luck and only parted reluctantly from the boy to
return back to the woods. His allowed time span now over.

Jungkook tagged along a few meters into the woods, not wanting to part either,
but it had to be done eventually. With a last gentle kiss, they said goodbye
and both went back to their homes,

Jungkook could still feel Taehyung’s lips on his own, even when he got back
home.
Lost in thought about the newly discovered, but somehow always been present,
feelings, that overcame him, when he was kissing Tae, he went to his room.

It was already getting dark outside, so he decide to just take a shower and
call it a day.
Before he got in the shower he looked into the mirror and saw, that his lips
were red and a little swollen from the kissing, even though it had been gentle.
He could only imagine how bruised his lips would look now, if they’ve had
really made out earlier.
With a slight smile and a faint blush on his face he touched his lips and got
into the shower.


Meanwhile Taehyung had returned home as well. He met Namjoon and Jin on his way
home and they could already tell something good happened from the big boxy grin
on his face.

„Ok now, what happened. Why are you grinning like an idiot?“, Namjoon asked and
poked him in the cheek.

„You and Jungkook kissed, right?“, asked Jin and Taehyung and Namjoon looked at
him surprised.

„What makes you think that?“, the Alpha asked his mate.

„His lips are red.“, the Omega clarified and Namjoon looked at the other again.

„True, his lips are red. Now, is he right, Tae?“, Namjoon asked and Taehyung
nodded.

„Yes, he’s right. We kissed today and it was AWESOME!“

The mated pair only laughed at the younger’s excitement.
„Well, good to now, that things are moving along well with you too. It won’t be
long, until you’ll present.“

„Yeah, I know. I’m happy too.“, said Tae and ran a hand through his hair.

„About the presenting…we have to talk about that again.“

Taehyung’s smile faltered slightly.
„Yeah, I know. Wanna do that now?“

Namjoon looked at Jin questioningly, but he just shrugged.
„Go ahead, I’m fine on my own.“

So the Alpha nodded and followed the younger to his house where they went to
Taehyung’s room to talk.
They both sat down on Tae’s bed, facing each other.

„So…you know dating a human is difficult, even when you haven’t presented yet
and are not his mate.“, Namjoon startet „And it only gets more complicated once
you present.“

„Yeah yeah, I know. I got told that, since I first mentioned Kookie to my Mom.
But what’s actually up with that?“
„Well, the thing is, so few wolves have humans as mates, that they don’t teach
you that. So of course you haven’t heard about it and are confused to why it’s
so difficult now. I’m gonna go ahead and tell you, that you’re best off by
presenting as a Beta. It’s the easiest way for you and Jungkook to be together.
You being an Omega also wouldn’t be a problem, but I doubt that that’ll happen.
If you turn out to be an Alpha…well you can only hope that Jungkook loves you a
fucking lot, because he’ll have to sacrifice a lot in order for you guys to be
together.“

„Why? What’s wrong with being an Alpha. Isn’t that like the thing everyone
hopes to present as?“

„Well, yeah, but listen closely now. Alphas can’t mate with humans. Before you
ask, let me finish, I’ll explain. As you know, the mating with an Alpha
includes the mating bite. But only other wolves can cope with getting a mating
bite. If you mate with a human and you bite them, there’s a big chance, that
they won’t survive that.“

Taehyung stared at Namjoon with shock written all over his face.
„What? That can’t be true!“

„I’m sorry but it’s true…“

„Than I’m just not gonna bite him.“, Tae stated the obvious but the older boy
only shook his head.

„Sorry, but that’s not possible. Not if he’s your mate. You won’t be able to
resist the pull.“

Taehyung’s shoulders dropped.
„Then what am I supposed to do?“

„First of all, we don’t know yet what you’re gonna be, so don’t sweat it yet“,
Namjoon said and stroked the others hair, trying to calm him.

„I know, but what IF I turn out to be an Alpha and want to mate with Jungkook.“

„Then you’ll have to turn him into a wolf as well first.“

     Sorry, it's short. The next chapter is a little longer, I promise xD
Some months have passed, it’s gotten colder and Taehyung and Jungkook have
gotten even closer. They’re officially boyfriends now and spent even more time
together than they already did.

But the passing time also meant, that Taehyung’s birthday was getting closer
and closer.

There wasn’t a day he didn't think about his presentation and what would happen
after that. He also knows, that he has to tell Jungkook about everything sooner
or later. He just hasn’t figured out when the right time should be.

Should he do it before he presents or after? Or should he just hope, that he
turns out to be a Beta so he doesn’t have to tell Jungkook at all, because
nothing will change?

Thoughts like that ran through his mind even now, as he’s sitting in the woods,
Jungkook pressed close to his side to feel a little warmer in the cold winter
air, with Taehyung basically being a human heater.

„It’s amazing that you almost never feel cold.“, Jungkook mumbled and the older
snaps out of his thoughts.

„I just have a higher body temperature, nothing to do about it. I’ve told you
many times before.“, the wolf said with a smile on his face.

„I know, but it’s still unfair.“ the younger pouted up at him and Taehyung just
couldn’t help it. He had to lean down and kiss his mate.

„Stop whining, be happy that you have me, or you’d be even colder, brat.“

It didn’t stop Jungkook’s pouting though.
„Yeah, but I can only do that for a limited time. Most of the day I’m alone and
freezing.“

„I know, babe. But it won’t stay that way for much longer.“, Taehyung said,
gently stroking the younger’s head.

„Oh yeah, it’s your birthday next week!“, Jungkook said, sitting up straight, a
big smile on his face.

„What do you want to do on your birthday? You’re gonna spend at least a few
hours with me, right?“

Taehyung’s smile faltered a little. He wouldn’t be able to spend his birthday
with his mate, because of his presentation.

„I’m sorry, hun. I don’t think I’ll be able to spend my birthday with you.“

Almost instantly a sad expression made its way on Jungkook’s face.

„What? Why?“, he whined and it nearly broke Taehyung’s heart to see him sad.

„I’ve told you that the 17th birthday is very a very special day for us and I’m
gonna be…busy for the whole day. I’m really sorry.“

Jungkook still looked sad, but he nodded.
„Ok, but I’m gonna see you the day after your birthday, right?“

„Of course.“
„Awesome! That means we can even spend time outside the woods then!“

The wolf nodded, smiling again at his mate’s excitement.

They cuddled for a little longer until it got dark. „You should go back home
now, baby. I don’t want you to get lost in the dark.“ Taehyung said, nuzzling
Jungkook’s neck.

The younger clung to him, not wanting to separate yet.
„Noo, I don’t want tooo….“, he whined, but Taehyung just shook his head.

„Come on now, I’m coming to see you again tomorrow, alright? So be a good boy
and let go of me now.“

Reluctantly the younger let go of his boyfriend and let Taehyung pull him to
his feet.

„Good boy. I’ll see you tomorrow, ok?“ the older praised and sent the younger
on his way with a last gentle kiss and a warm hug.

Tomorrow was going to be Taehyung’s birthday and the boy could't have been more
nervous.
He was pacing around his room, his friends were sitting on his bed and watched
him for quite some time now without saying anything.
That was until Yoongi got fed up with Taehyung’s restlessness.

„For fucks sake, Taehyung! Stop running around like a headless chicken and sit
your ass down before I make you!“, the oldest growled, which made Namjoon snort
and Jin laugh.

But it worked and Taehyung stopped. For now at least.
„Well, you’re not the one, who’s gonna present tomorrow!.

„Duh, that’s because I already did.“ Yoongi said and rolled his eyes.

Yoongi had presented as an Alpha some time ago.

„Yeah, but it didn’t matter what you’re gonna present as! My presentation could
change everything! Not only my life, but Jungkook’s as well!“, the youngest
snapped at him and Yoongi growled warningly at his tone.

That’s when Namjoon cut in.
„Come on, Yoongs. Cut him some slack. It’s understandable that he’s worried and
nervous. Our status was never an issue for us, because it simply didn’t matter,
but it does for Taehyung.“

Yoongi sighed and gave in.
„Ok, I’m gonna let that one slide.“

The friends stayed until almost midnight to keep Taehyung company and distract
him from what’s gonna happen tomorrow.

When they left Taehyung decided to just go to sleep. After all there wasn’t
anything he could do to change what’s going to happen anyway.

The first Taehyung woke up, it was already noon. He was sweating like crazy and
his whole body hurt!

He screamed in pain and his parents came running in his room. They only took
one look at him and his mother instantly ordered his father to get something.
Taehyung couldn’t make out what she was saying, distracted by the searing pain
coursing through his body, but he saw his Dad leave the room right after.

His Mom rushed to his side and put a hand on his head to see how bad his
fever’s already gotten. Taehyung hissed at the contact, his skin felt
sensitive, almost raw.

„I know it hurts, honey and I’m sorry, but you have to go through this.“

He never knew presenting was going to be so fucking painful.

His mother helped him out of his shirt, the fabric feeling to harsh on his
skin.
That’s when his father came back with a bowl of ice water with some herbs in
it, a towel and a cup of herbal tea.

„Here, drink this. It’s gonna help with the pain and make you sleep.“, he said
and gently helped his son take a sip of the beverage as his mother wiped down
his torso and then laid a towel soaked through with ice cold water on his
forehead.

Taehyung finished the tea and started feeling drowsy.

„It’s going to be over soon.“ his mother said and kissed his head, then his
parents left the room.

Taehyung felt his eyes close and began drifting off into sleep again.


The next time he woke up was sometime in the afternoon, but not for long. He
was only awake long enough for his mother to make him drink the tea again. Then
he fell back asleep again.


Sometime in the middle of the night he woke up again.
The pain was gone, but instead there was this itch under his skin.
It was really uncomfortable and suddenly an unknown feeling overcame Taehyung.
At first he tried to fight it, scared of what was happening to him, but simply
didn’t have the energy to keep up the fight for long, so eventually he just let
the feeling wash over him.

He felt his bones crack, changing their form until he no longer looked human.
He had turned into a wolf, which could only mean one thing.
He was an Alpha.

In his new form he felt an unbearable need to go and claim his mate. It was
pure instinct and he couldn’t find it in him to act against that instinct.

He started making his way out of his room and down the stairs, into the living
room. On the couch sat his parents. His mother noticed him first and gave a
surprised yell.
„Taehyung! You’re an Alpha!“

His Dad came to look at him as well.

„What are you doing down here?“

But the wolf ignored them and walked to the front door.

„Taehyung?“, his mother asked.

„What is he doing?“ His father.

Taehyung almost had the door open as it clicked inside his Mom’s head.

„He wants to go to Jungkook!“

She jumped up to catch the wolf, but in that moment Taehyung managed to open
the door and dashed out of it, leaving his parents behind.

„Taehyung!“

He heard their yells, but he couldn’t focus on anything else than Jungkook’s
scent as he ran through the woods. He knew the way as well as the back of his
hand and his mate’s scent only made it easier to find his way to Jungkook’s
house.

He arrived in front of the house quicker than he ever did. The wolf looked up
at the window, he knew Jungkook was behind and changed back into his human
form.
The wolf in his mind still making most of his decisions.


Jungkook was lying in his bed, fast asleep when the creaking of his window woke
him up.
He grumbled and rolled around to face the other side, refusing some random
noise to wake him up. That is until he felt like he was stared at.
He opened his eyes and slowly turned around again.

A terrified yell ripped from his throat as he saw a pair of red eyes staring at
him from the dark.
He scrambled to get as far away from them as possible, but they only moved
closer. Until the figure sat down on his bed.

As Jungkook’s eyes got used to dark he could slowly make out the face of the
intruder.

„Taehyung?“, he asked with a small voice.

The wolf smiled, showing the sharp canines in his mouth.

„Hi baby.“

His voice was gruff, raw. He wasn’t sounding human and Jungkook was scared
shitless as the creature that looked like a horror version of his loving
boyfriend, moved closer. Crawling up the bed until he was caging Jungkook in
with his arms.

Jungkook was unable to move, shaking like a leaf as the wolf pressed his face
into his neck.

„You smell so good, baby. And you’re all mine, my beautiful mate.“, he
murmured.

Jungkook could feel sharp canines pressing against his neck, almost breaking
the skin already as Jungkook finally found enough strength again to push that
thing off of him.
He was only able to do so, because of the surprise factor but it still worked.

„No! What are you doing? Who are you? What are you?“, he screamed, tears
running down his face as he felt panic rise inside him.

That’s what finally snapped Taehyung out of his trounce like state. His eyes
returned to their normal color and his teeth went back to their normal length
and shape.
Horrified he looked at his sobbing mate, scared for his life, scared of him.

„What have I done?“, he whispered.
He wanted to flee, but he couldn’t just leave his boyfriend behind in such a
state.

„Jungkook.“ he called out gently and slowly approached the panicked boy.

„NO, stay away from me! You’re a monster!“

That one hurt…really bad and Taehyung had to try hard stop himself from crying
as well.
But he still moved closer to the boy, softly touching his shoulder, trying not
to feel to hurt when he flinched away.

„Hey, it’s me again. I’m so sorry.“

He sat down next to Jungkook and gently pulled him into a hug. abr /> Jungkook
gave up fighting him soon. After all he was still his mate and Taehyung still
had a soothing effect on Jungkook, even if the younger was scared of him.

„I’m so sorry, baby. I didn’t mean to scare you, I’m sorry.“

The older buried his face in the others hair as he felt Jungkook cling to him,
sobbing against his chest.

„What are you?“ the human demanded to know, as he calmed down enough to talk
again.

Tears were still running down his face, but he looked a little better. Taehyung
still had his arms around him as he looked him in the eyes.

„I didn’t want you to find out like that, I’m sorry. I wanted to tell you
soon…“

„Just answer my question. What are you?“

„I’m a werewolf.“

Jungkook stared at Taehyung, who was sitting cross-legged in front of him now,
like he had just grown a second head, which he guessed was a pretty normal
reaction to what he just said.

„You’re a what?“

„A werewolf.“, Taehyung repeated.

„A…werewolf?“

„Yup.“

Jungkook just continued to stare at him for a few more moments until he took a
deep breath and buried his face in his hands.

„This can’t be true…this has to be some kind of joke, right? Werewolves don’t
exist, right? It’s a joke, right?“

Jungkook’s voice was starting to sound hysteric again and Taehyung was quick to
put his hand on the back of Jungkook’s neck, to calm the boy down, before he
got another panic attack.

„It’s true. You saw me with your own eyes.“, the older said as he gently used
his thump to stroke over the sensitive skin on his mates neck.
But the younger just sat there, staring at his hands in his lap and still
refusing to believe any of this was true.

„I can show you.“, Taehyung offered and Jungkook looked at him confused.

„Show me what?“

„That I’m really a wolf.“, he got up. „Don’t get scared, ok?“, Taehyung
whispered agains the humans forehead as he placed a gentle kiss there and then
shifted into his newly discovered wolf form.

He could hear Jungkook’s surprised and slightly terrified yelp as he shifted
and felt his eyes on him.

Where Taehyung stood before, there now was a huge wolf, with red eyes and dark
brown, almost black fur. He sat down and patiently waited for his mates
reaction to his wolf form.

The younger just stared at him with a shocked expression on his face, wide eyes
and open mouth, for what felt like hours until he finally moved.

Jungkook got off the bed and carefully approached the large animal in the
middle of his room. Taehyung stayed very still as to not frighten the boy even
more.

The younger came slowly closer and closer until he sank to his knees in front
of Taehyung. The wolf lowered his head to be able to look his mate in the eyes.
He saw how scared the boy still was and whined quietly in his throat.

Jungkook looked surprised at the noise. It sounded way to cute for such an
animal and he couldn’t help himself, when he reached his hand out and stroked
the soft fur of the wolf’s chest.

Taehyung wagged his tail at the contact and Jungkook continued to pet him when
he saw the positive reaction he got out of the wolf.

They stayed like that for a while until Jungkook got comfortable with his
boyfriend’s other form.

„You know, this actually isn’t so bad. I always wanted a dog anyway.“, Jungkook
said, smiling and Taehyung huffed, but nuzzled his snout against the others
face anyway.

„Can you turn back now? I still have some questions.“The wolf nodded and
shifted back into a human.
It was only now, that the younger noticed, that his boyfriend was completely
naked.

„I’m gonna give you some clothes.“, he said and got up.
He picked out the clothes he gave the other to wear the last time he was here
and gave them to him, before he sat down on his bed again.

Taehyung put on the clothes and joined the younger on his bed.

„Why haven’t you told me sooner?“, the younger asked, looking Taehyung directly
in the eyes.

„I was planning to, but it never felt like the time was right. I’m sorry, I was
planning to tell you soon.“

„Ok, but why haven’t I ever noticed anything before? Like, something like
tonight never happened, why now?“

„That’s because I presented tonight. Meaning, I just became a full wolf.
There’s a lot of backstory about the presentation thing.“

„Tell me about it.“

„I don’t want to overwhelm you, Jungkook. It’s a lot of information.“

„I still want to hear it. I’ve got all night.“
Taehyung looked at his boyfriend, trying to get him to back down, but Jungkook
was stubborn, so Taehyung gave in with a sigh. „Fine, I’ll tell you. What do
you want to know first?“

„Can all werewolves turn into actual wolves?“

„No, only Alphas can.“

„Oh.“ Jungkook looked mildly disappointed, but perked up again after a second.
„What are Alphas?“, he then asked.

„Alphas are a sub-gender. As werewolves we don’t only have female and male, but
also Alpha, Beta and Omega.“

„What are the differences?“

„Alphas are the leaders. Every pack has a head Alpha, who’s in charge of
everything. They’re pretty dominant and usually highly protective. There’s also
some biological differences. For example, as you already know, they can turn
into wolves. Their eye color is red and they…have a knot.

„A knot? Like the one dogs have to breed?“

„Yeah, exactly.“

„That means you have one as well?“

„No…well yeah, but let me finish talking. Alphas also go into rut twice a year.
During their first rut an Alpha will grow his knot for the first time. So that
means, I don’t have it yet. Everything clear so far?“

Jungkook nodded.

„What about Omegas?“

„Omegas are „the weakest. They’re not actually weak and still stronger than any
human, but they’re weaker than Alphas and Betas. They’re responsible of the
well-being of the pack members and they balance a pack. Their eye color is blue
and both genders are capable of bearing children. They’re going through heat 4
time a year and are only able to get pregnant during that period.“

Jungkook stared at Taehyung with wide eyes.
„Guys can get pregnant too?“, he asked surprised.

„Yeah, but it happens quite rarely.“
The younger nodded. Seemingly still in thought.

„And Betas?“, he asked after a few minutes.

„Betas are basically like humans, except for their strength. They have it the
easiest, basically nothing changes for them after they present and they have
less problems. I wish I presented as a Beta…“, Taehyung sighed, thinking about,
what he should do about Jungkook now.

„Why? What’s wrong with being an Alpha?“

„…I’ll tell you sometime else, not right now.“, the older said and laid down on
Jungkook’s bed. "It’s late and you should get some sleep. You have school
tomorrow, right?“

Jungkook sensed that his boyfriend really didn’t want to talk anymore and
decided to just do as he said.
Without a second thought he laid down next to Taehyung and put his head on the
others chest.

„Are you gonna stay the night?“, he asked.

„If you want me to. I can leave to, if you prefer.“

„No, I want to have you here.“, the younger said, pressing his body closer to
the older’s.

„Then I’ll stay.“, Taehyung said with a smile on his face.

He pulled Jungkook as close as possible and tilted his head up to kiss him
gently.
„Good night, baby.“

„Good night.“
***** Chapter 12 *****
Jungkook woke up way before his alarm.

When he opened his eyes he saw two men standing by his window, whispering to
each other. They looked like they'd just entered.

He pressed closer to Taehyung, who was still sleeping soundly next to him and
gently shook him, trying to get him to wake up.

It didn’t take much for him to wake up and his Alpha instincts instantly kicked
in as he smelled the fear coming off of his mate. When he smelled the scent of
other people he sat up with jolt and pushed Jungkook behind his back, growling
dangerously and baring his sharp teeth at the intruders.

„Calm down, Tae. We’re not here to harm you or your mate.“ Taehyung heard a
familiar voice speak. One could practically hear the eye rolling.

„Yoongi?“, he asked and took a closer look at the two people standing in
Jungkook’s room.
He was right, in front of the window stood Yoongi, next to him Namjoon.

Taehyung relaxed and let out a sigh.
He could feel Jungkook peek over his shoulder, to get a better look at the
strangers in his room, now that his eyes have adjusted to the darkness.
There was a small, skinny guy and a taller broader looking one next to him.
They didn’t seem to be much older than Taehyung.

„Tae, who’s that?“, he asked quietly. Apparently Taehyung knew them.

The older moved to put an arm around the youngest and pull him into his side.

„Those are Yoongi“ he pointed at the smaller one „and Namjoon.“ his hand moved
to gesture at the taller guy. „They’re friends of mine and also wolves.“, he
said.

Yoongi only nodded while Namjoon smiled and waved at him.
Jungkook just stared at them, not sure what to make of the situation.

„Why are you two here?“, he asked his friends.

„We’re here to make sure you haven’t killed little Jungkook over there.“,
Yoongi said and he could feel Jungkook tense up behind him.

Before he could say anything Namjoon took over.
„We would have come here sooner, if we knew. But your Mom only told us about it
now, god knows why she didn’t say anything sooner.“, the second oldest said,
shaking his head.

„What were you thinking coming here without knowing how to control your wolf's
instincts?!“, Yoongi almost yelled and Jungkook flinched.
„You could have killed the boy, are you even aware of that?!“

Namjoon put his hand on the others shoulder to get him to calm down.
„You’re gonna wake everyone up, if you won’t be quiet. Nobody’s supposed to
know we’re here.“, he said and Yoongi huffed, but deflated a little.

Taehyung felt guilt washing over him as he looked at his boyfriend, who stared
at his friends with big, fearful eyes that he then looked at Taehyung with.

„K-kill me…? You could have killed me?“ he asked, voice sounding so small and
scared, it broke Taehyung’s heart.

„I would’ve never done that.“, he said firmly and looked at the other two
wolves.

Yoongi moved closer to them, sneering at him.
„As if you would have been able to control that. Admit it, you wanted to bite
him, claim him as yours. It’s only natural for an Alpha to claim his mate,
especially when there’s such a strong bond already.“

He looked at Jungkook.
„Did he try to bite you?“

The youngest put his hand on the place on his neck, where he felt Taehyung
teeth earlier that night, without thinking, staring at the oldest with wide
eyes. That’s all Yoongi needed to know what happened.
„That’s what I thought.“

„Yeah, ok! I admit it, I was close to biting him, but I didn’t, ok?“

„That’s a miracle, but you’ll eventually want to do it again. You still feel
it, don’t you? The need to claim your mate.“

Taehyung went silent.
Yoongi was right, he could feel the itch to bite Jungkook, to sink his teeth
into the other's delicate neck and make him his forever.

„Uhm…excuse me, but what are you guys talking about.“

Namjoon looked at him surprised and then stared at Taehyung.
„You haven’t told him? About you two being mates and what he’ll have to do in
order for you too to stay together?“

Taehyung shook his head.
„No, I already had to explain so much to him today, I didn’t want to overwhelm
him even more…“, he said quietly.

Yoongi barked out a laugh.
„You leave the most important thing to say at the end? Are you stupid?!“

Taehyung growled at him, but Yoongi only needed to shoot him a look to make him
stop.

„Don’t you dare growl at me, you fucked that up yourself.“
Namjoon looked between the two other wolves, before he directed his gaze to the
human.

„Jungkook.“, he called and felt only slightly bad, when the younger flinched.
„This thing is really important. Do you want to hear about it now?“

Jungkook chewed on his lip as he took a moment to think about it, before he
nodded.

„Ok then. Taehyung, do you want to tell him yourself or should I?“

„You tell him, you’re better at explaining things.“

„Alright, Jungkook listen closely, because at the end you’ll have a really big
decision to make.“

After the youngest nodded he continued, never taking his eyes off the boy.

„You and Taehyung are mates. Has he told you that?“
A head shake.

„Do you know what mates are?“
Another shake of his head.

„Basically mates are people who are destined to be together. It’s a really big
thing in the werewolf world, because we mate for life and usually werwolves
have other werewolves as mates. But sometimes, like in this case, it happens
that a wolf and a human are mates. Pretty rare, but actually no big deal.
Unless the wolf is an Alpha, like Taehyung, that’s where things get
complicated. Alphas have a natural need to claim their mate. They do that by
biting their mates neck. The wound will scar and everyone will know that person
is taken. The thing is, a humans body is not able to handle the bite and in 99%
of the cases, the human will die. That’s what Taehyung tried to do before he
stopped for some reason, thank god.“

Jungkook now looked scared and confused.

„But…if the bite will kill the human, then how is it possible for them to
mate?“

„That’s where it get’s really hard and the human has to make a really though
decision. Either he stays the way he is and he can’t be together with his mate,
which will lead to the wolf's death sooner or later. Wolves don’t take well to
rejection from their mates, even if they don’t want to chose like that. Or the
human gets turned into a werewolf too and the mates are able to stay together
and mate each other properly.“

„D-does that mean I…I mean I have to…chose…if I want to stay human or a become
a werewolf?“

„Exactly.“
***** Chapter 13 *****
An uncomfortable silence has settled over the room.
Everyone’s eyes were on Jungkook, whose face was wiped clean of any emotion. He
just looked pale.
Everybody waited for Jungkook to speak first, but the boy didn’t make any signs
that he was going to do so. Taehyung was scared that what he’s just heard broke
something in him.

Taehyung put his arms around his mate and pulled him close to his chest.
The younger’s body was tense and the other tried to get him to relax by running
his hands over his arms and pressing soft kisses to his neck. At the contact of
Taehyung’s lips to Jungkook’s neck, the human only tensed up even more, which
made Taehyung stop instantly.

Namjoon and Yoongi were exchanging worried glances when the boy didn’t speak
even after a couple of minutes. They just wanted to ask, if he was ok when the
youngest finally opened his mouth.
„Can I have some time to think this whole thing over?“

His voice was barely audible, even for the wolves and Taehyung felt his heart
clench.

„Of course, baby. Take as much time as you need.“, Taehyung said and squeezed
the younger gently.

Jungkook nodded and removed Taehyung’s arms from his body.
„Can all of you leave me alone to think?“

Taehyung felt hurt, but he understood the youngest wish. The two older wolves
only nodded and moved to the window again.

„Are you coming, Tae?“, Yoongi asked over is shoulder, already half outside.
The younger nodded, but didn’t move yet.
He tried to kiss his mate goodbye, but Jungkook moved his face out of
Taehyung’s reach and Taehyung faltered. He stood up from the bed and went over
to the window as well.

„If you have questions or want to talk, even if you haven’t made your decision
yet, just call for me. I’ll know, when you call and come for you, ok?“

Jungkook nodded slightly, Taehyung sighed and followed his friends.

Quicker than Jungkook could blink he has vanished.
If it weren’t for the open window Jungkook would have thought that it had been
a dream.

He sighed as he got up and walked over to close the window. He could’t help but
to look out into the woods to see if he could find any traces left by the
werewolf trio. Of course he couldn’t.

His head hurt from digesting all the information he’s heard today. It was so
complicated and hard to believe. Heck, if he hadn’t just seen it, he wouldn’t
believe it himself.
Groaning he pressed his forehead against the cool glass of the window and
closed his eyes.
„Why does this have to happen to me?“, he whispered.

He pulled at his hair and pushed himself away from the window and fell back
into his bed.

He decided that it’d be best to get a little more sleep, before he has to go to
school again. Maybe he’d be able to think everything over later. He hoped that
his thoughts would clear up a little while he slept.


Taehyung was feeling really shitty and guilty.
He was the reason his mate has to make this awful decision now. He’d basically
ruined the boys life.
He felt the need to go back to him and comfort him, help him through the hard
time, but Jungkook had sent him away, even rejected his touch. His wolf was
suffering and he couldn’t do anything about it, it was his own fault after all.

After Taehyung had left Jungkook’s house he quickly caught up with the other
two wolves and returned home.

His parents were in the living room when he got back, clearly worried about
their son and what had happened, but he didn’t pay them any attention as he
walked by. He went straight to his room and crawled into bed, closing his eyes
and waiting for sleep to overtake him, so he wouldn’t have to think about
happened anymore.

Sleep came easy enough, but it didn’t bring the relief with it, that he had
hoped for. Instead it brought nightmares.

Pictures of Jungkook’s terrified face as he saw Taehyung’s red glowing eyes and
sharp teeth were bouncing through the wolf’s head. He heard Jungkook scream as
he bit his neck, forcing his teeth deep into the younger’s flesh as he
struggled beneath him, trying to throw him off. But Taehyung did’t budge, just
bit down harder and harder, the struggling of the body under his getting weaker
and weaker. When he finally let go and moved back all he could see was red.
Everything was covered in blood. The bed, his, mouth, his hands and especially
Jungkook’s lifeless body.
He was so unbelievable pale, his eyes open wide but dull. He didn’t move at all
anymore, not a single twitch of his muscles. Taehyung had killed him, killed
his mate.

He woke up with a scream, body covered in sweat and tears running down his
face.
He let out a sob and buried his head in his pillows. He knew it was only a
dream, but knowing how close he was yesterday for that dream to be reality made
him cry even harder. He hated himself at the moment, hated being a werewolf and
even more so being an Alpha.

Why? Why did it have to happen to him.

He could feel his parents presence by the door, but they didn’t enter. They
wouldn’t have been able to help him anyway.


When Jungkook’s alarm went off he turned it off instantly again. His head still
hurt, the pain's gotten even worse.
He felt miserable and absolutely didn’t want to get up and go to school. He
just wanted to stay in bed for the rest of his life. But he couldn’t afford not
going today, so he rolled out of bed and dragged himself to the bathroom, where
he took a quick shower, brushed his teeth and made himself look decent enough
to leave the house.
He gave his best, but he still looked horrible, one could see dark circles
under his eyes and his overall complexion just looked bad.
He sighed as he admitted defeat to his looks and went back to his room to get
dressed, before packing his things and heading off to school straight away.
He avoided his parents, because he didn’t want to answer the questions he would
certainly receive from them.

He pretty much avoided all kinds of conversation that day at school. Be it his
friends or his teachers. When he had to say something, the sentences where
short, often being only one word.
His friends were worried about him and asked him questions he couldn’t answer
without having to tell them about what happened during the night, which they
wouldn’t believe anyway.

On his way home he thought he could feel Taehyung’s presence, but when he
looked around there was no-one.

When he got home he swallowed some painkillers in the hopes of getting rid of
his now throbbing headache and decided to sleep.
As he went to close the blinds of his window he could swear he saw a wolf in
the woods, but it vanished too quickly for Jungkook to be sure.

Still, the idea of Taehyung still watching out for him, even when he told him
to leave him alone to think, made him feel a little warm inside.
He decided to leave the blinds open and got into bed. As soon as he closed his
eyes he fell asleep.
***** Chapter 14 *****
Jungkook didn’t see Taehyung or any of the other wolves the whole week and he
was really unfocused. He was lucky, that he didn’t have a test this week or he
would have failed it so hard.

He was always thinking about what the werewolves said and how he should decide.
The more he thought about it, the more questions he had which made him even
more unfocused and confused.


After he got home from school on Friday, he couldn’t take it anymore. He had
questions that needed answers or else he’d never be able to decide.

He remembered what Taehyung said to him, that he’d just need to call him and
he’d come. No matter where he was, he’d know.

Jungkook was unsure if he could believe in it or not, but he had learned about
so many things, that he never even thought could exist, that he decided to just
try it. If it didn’t work nobody had to know after all.

The boy sighed and closed his eyes, thinking about Taehyung and focusing on the
part of him that had always felt strongly connected to the older boy.

„Taehyung…“, he called out softly.

He laid there for a few moments, but nothing happened, so he sat up with a
quiet sigh again. As he got up to get some of his homework done, he heard
something that sounded like a knock on his window. As he turned around, he
almost got a heart attack.
Taehyung was standing on the roof in front of his window.

„Oh my god, Tae! My heart!“, he said, a hand on his chest, as he opened the
window to let a sheepish looking Taehyung in.

„I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.“, he laughed softly. „You called me?“

„Yeah, but I didn’t think it would actually work. Oh, and by the way, we have
something called a front door, you know?“

„I know, but it’s quicker and easier to climb through your window.“

„How the fuck is climbing through a window on the second floor easier than
entering through the front door?“

Taehyung just waved him off laughing.
„So, why did you call me?“

„I need you to answer some questions.“

„About what?“

„Me…becoming a werewolf…“

„Oh.“ Taehyung straightened up at that. „Of course, maybe let’s sit down for
that?“

The younger nodded and climbed on his bed, sitting with his back against the
headboard. Taehyung sat down in front of him, folding his hands in his lap. He
looked a little tense.

„Go ahead, ask what you want to know. I promise I’ll give my best to answer
everything.“

„Ok then…if I become a werewolf, will I be able to still visit my parents?“, he
asked quietly.

„Of course! Why wouldn’t you be able to?“

„Because you were not allowed to leave until you were 17, so I thought that
maybe…“, he trailed off.

„No, Jungkook. Being born in the pack and entering it later, because you got
turned are two different things. Most rules won’t even apply to you. You’ll be
instantly treated like an adult wolf, which means no constricting rules at all.
You can go wherever you want to.“
Jungkook let out a breath of relief. Not being able to see his parents was his
greatest fear.

„You said, that I could go wherever I want, does that mean I can also finish
school.“
„Well, duh. Why would I force you to sacrifice your education. It’s important!“

„And I can also go to college?“

„If you desire to do so.“

„So, I won’t have to stay here with the pack my entire life?“
>br /> Taehyung laughed again.
„Jungkook, no. You’re free to do whatever you want. The only thing you’re gonna
be stuck with is me. Every adult wolf is free to leave, most people just decide
to stay with the pack. It’s a wolf thing to want to be together with your
pack.“, he said.

This made Jungkook falter a bit.
„Would you ever leave the pack, if it weren’t for me leaving?“, he asked.

Taehyung shook his head.
„Probably not. I mean all my friends and family are there, everything I’ve ever
known for my entire life. Why would I want to leave?“

„But you’d still be willing to come with me, if I decided to leave?“

„Of course, you’re my mate. I can’t live without you. And before you start to

„Really?“, Jungkook asked, still a little unsure.

„Really. You don’t have to worry about that at all.“

„So then what’s the difference in being a werewolf and being human. Until now,
it doesn’t seem too different.“
„Well for one, you’re gonna be stronger, faster and live longer than humans.
The other things depend on what sub-gender you’re gonna be though. Since Alphas
can only be born wolves you can’t become one, also me being an Alpha would make
this impossible as well. This only leads to you either becoming a Beta or an
Omega. If you’re a Beta, nothing’s gonna happen, except that you’re gonna crave
meat a lot during the full moons. Except that you’ll be just like any other
human. Oh, and your children would be werewolves as well, but since you’re with
me and neither of us could get pregnant, that’s not gonna happen. Now, if
you’re gonna be an Omega, your bodies gonna change quite a bit. As I’ve already
told you, all Omegas are able to bear children. Which means that you’re kinda
gonna develop a female reproductive system. They go through heat once every
season yada yada yada, we’ve already covered that. And your looks are going to
change a little, your bodies gonna become a little curvier, broader hips and
stuff, ya know.“

Jungkook has listened quietly and hummed a little in understanding here and
there.

„Don’t think too much about that though, it’s nothing that we could influence.“

Jungkook nodded.

„Anything else you want to know?“

„Not right now, I’ll let you know, if I want to know something else.“
„Ok, then. Do you want me to go, so you can think about it a little more?“, he
asked and Jungkook was quick to put his arms around him.

„No, stay with me.“, he murmured and let himself fall to the side, pulling
Taehyung with him, so the older laid half on top of him.

The older boy laughed and stroked his head.

„Aww, did my baby miss me?“

Jungkook huffed and turned his face to look Taehyung in the eyes.
„So what?“
>br /> He actually did miss the other a lot, more than he’d have thoughed and
he was glad to finally feel his warmth again.

Taehyung chuckled, following the lines of the younger’s face with the tip of
his fingers.

They spent the rest of the afternoon cuddling and exchanging soft kisses, not
letting it turn into more in order to not trigger Taehyung’s wolf’s instincts
to claim.

Being wrapped up in Taehyung’s arms and feeling his body pressed against his,
Jungkook came to the conclusion that he wouldn’t be able to ever live without
the boy next to him.

„Taehyung?“, he spoke quietly.

„Hmm?“, came the answer.

He had made up his mind.

„I’m gonna let you turn me into a werewolf.“

Taehyung couldn’t believe what he’d just heard and just stared at the boy in
his arms for a moment before he stuttered out this very smart sentence.
„You…I…What?“

Jungkook smiled at the older and ran a hand through his hair.
„I want to spent the rest of my life with you and if that means that I’ll have
to give up being a human than so be it.“, he said.

„Are you sure about that. And I mean like really sure. It’s not something we
can redo once it’s done. Did you really think about it?“

„Tae, I swear I thought about it so much, I’m sure there was smoke coming out
of my ears at some point, because my brain couldn’t handle all my thinking.“
Taehyung laughed a little at that.
„Ok, I believe you, but still, just to be sure, sleep over it one more time,
ok? And if you’re still sure that you want this tomorrow morning I’ll go and
talk to my pack about it. Deal?“

Jungkook sighed.
„If it makes you happy, sure. I’ll think about it again and sleep over it.“

„Good boy. Do you want me to stay the night?“

The younger blushed a little and nodded, pressing his face into Taehyung’s
chest.
„You don’t even have to ask, the answer will always be yes anyway.“

Taehyung giggled and stroked the boy’s head gently.
„What did I do in my past life to end up with someone as adorable as you now?“

„Shut up.“, Jungkook whined and swatted at Taehyung’s arm.

„How about we sleep now, hm?“, the older said.

„But it’s still so early.“

„Don’t care. I can smell that you’re tired and I know that I am too, so let’s
sleep.“

Jungkook stayed quiet at that, because he was indeed tired and quite shocked
that Taehyung could smell it.
But he decided not to ask about it and closed his eyes instead.
He hadn’t even realized how tired he really was, but once his eyes were closed
it didn’t take him long to be fast asleep, Taehyung following close behind.


Jungkook was the one to wake up first the next morning. He smiled as he felt
Taehyung’s arm around his middle and his breath tickling his neck.
He turned around and started peppering the older’s face with kisses to wake him
up as well.
Taehyung stirred and let out a low groan as he was woken by the younger, but a
smile graced his face when he opened his eyes to the sight of his mate smiling
at him with a slight blush on his cheeks.
He looked adorable. Big eyes bright and face still a little puffy with fluffy
bed hair.
„Morning, cutie.“

The younger giggled and pressed a kiss to the other’s lips.
„Morning.“

„Did you sleep well?“

Jungkook nodded.

„Did you think everything over again?“

Jungkook rolled his eyes, but nodded.

„Did you change your mind?“

Jungkook shook his head, no.

„You’re sure?“
Another nod.

„Well then, I guess I have to be believe you then.“
Taehyung chuckled and Jungkook smiled.

„I have done my part and decided, so what’s next?“, Jungkook asked.

„I’m gonna go tell the pack Alpha about it and then we’ll see. I’ll come back
here, after I've finished talking to him to tell you everything that’s gonna
happen, ok?“

„Ok. Are you going to leave right away?“

„No, I’m gonna stay for some morning cuddles and kisses.“ Taehyung said and
pulled a laughing Jungkook in his arm again, to press quick little kisses
against his lips.


Taehyung left the younger’s house around half an hour later to go back to his
pack and tell his pack Alpha about Jungkook’s decision. But first he wanted to
talk about it to his parents.

As he entered the village, he first came across Namjoon and Jin, who stopped
him to ask him where he spent the night.

„At Jungkook’s place.“, he said.

„Did he make a decision yet?“, Jin asked.

„Yeah, he did.“

„And?“

„He agreed.“

„What?“, Namjoon looked surprised. „He really agreed to let you turn him into
one of us?“

„Yeah, he did.“
„Did you pressure him into it?“

„What? Of course not! You know I’d never do something like that.“

„In theory yeah, but a desperate wolf is capable of making you do things you’d
never normally do.“

„I did not pressure him into it, I swear.“
„It’s ok, I believe you.“

„Good, now if you’d excuse me, I have to talk to some people.“
With that Taehyung smiled at the pair and went to tell his parents about it.

They were really happy for him and wouldn’t stop talking about how they
couldn’t wait to finally meet Jungkook, the boy they heard Taehyung talk about
for years.

At least he finally got to go talk to the pack Alpha.

The Alpha made him sit down on a chair opposite his desk and looked at him
expectedly.
Taehyung started explaining everything to the other, starting from the day he
first met Jungkook since the Alpha didn’t really know anything other, than the
fact that Taehyung’s mate was a human.

The older Alpha listened quietly to the story the younger told him and nodded
sometimes in understanding.
Only when Taehyung was finished, he spoke up.
„So your mate decided to be turned into a wolf. That’s good, I’m happy for you,
Taehyung.“
The young Alpha smiled.

„So I guess, you wanna know about the next steps, right?“

Taehyung nodded.

„I suggest you bring Jungkook here, so our healer can have a look at him. He’ll
also take the certain measures to make sure your first bite will turn him and
not claim him.“

The younger nodded.

„Should I get him today, or…?“

„No, it’s going to be the best to do everything in one go. But it will probably
take Jungkook a while to get used to everything and I want to keep him here
with the pack for at least a few days before we let him interact with humans
again. We don’t know how his wolf is gonna turn out, after all. The holidays
are coming up soon, right?“

„Yeah, next week, I think.“

„Perfect, I think we should do it then, it’d be a good time. You’re alright
with that?“

„Yes, Alpha.“

„Good. Was that all or is there something else you wanted to talk about?“

„No, that’s all.“

„Ok, you’re free to go now.“

„Thanks, Alpha. See you!“
Taehyung left the Alpha’s office and immediately went back to Jungkook’s house
to tell the younger everything he’d just learned.

The week passed and the holidays came around.
Jungkook was slowly starting to get really nervous. He didn’t change his mind
though, Taehyung made sure to ask him every day.
 
It was the last day of school and Jungkook walked out of the building to find
Taehyung waiting for him.
The older waved at him, a smile on his face, when he spotted the younger in the
crowd of students.
He pulled Jungkook into a hug, as soon as the boy was close enough to him.
„Did you have a nice day?“
„It was ok. I’m glad the holidays are starting though.“
Taehyung laughed and pecked his cheek.
„My poor baby has to sit through boring lessons.“
Jungkook hit him lightly on the arm.
„Don’t make fun of me.“
„I would never dare!“
Jungkook chuckled.
„Are you ready to go? I already picked up your stuff earlier, when you were
still in school and brought it over to my house.“
„Wow, how nice of you. And yeah, I’m ready.“
 
The two of them had talked to Jungkook’s mom about him spending a few days at
Taehyung’s place during the holidays.
She hadn’t even hesitated and agreed instantly, to their luck.
So now they were walking through the woods to the wolves’ village.
„I will never ever be able to find my way back again.“, Jungkook worried.
There wasn’t even a slight hint of a path and he had no idea how Taehyung
managed to find the way without ever hesitating.
„It’ll be obvious where you have to go once you’re a werewolf. We can smell
where to go. Once you remember the smell of a place you’ll always be able to
find your way back to it.“, he explained and Jungkook just hummed in
acknowledgement.
 
After a few more minutes they finally arrived at the village.
Jungkook was looking around curiously and the wolves, that were standing around
outside and were looking curiously back at him. It had been a long time since a
human last stepped a foot into the village.
„I’ll show you around later, ok? We have to go to the Alpha first.“
Jungkook nodded and let Taehyung pull him along by his arm as he continued to
look around.
 
The Alpha was already waiting for them in his office, when they walked in and
stepped around his desk to shake Jungkook’s hand and introduce himself as the
pack Alpha.
„Nice to finally meet you, Jungkook. It’s rare to have a human here.“
„Nice to meet you too, Sir.“
„Alpha.“, the oldest corrected him. „Call me Alpha. It’ll come naturally to you
once you’re a wolf, so don’t worry.“
The youngest nodded.
Taehyung squeezed his hand gently and smiled at him.
„I guess, Taehyung already told you about everything we’ve talked about last
week?“
„Yes, he did.“
„Good. Do you have any more questions then?“
The human shook his head.
„Not really, Taehyung already answered all of them.“
„I see. Then may I ask you to go see the healer now. He’s already waiting for
you in the nurse room down the hall.“
The two nodded and left the office.
 
True to the Alpha’s words, the healer was already waiting for them when they
entered.
It was an elderly woman. Her hair was an almost white gray and her face was
decorated with wrinkles.
She smiled kindly at the two young boys, that entered the room.
„Hello there, boys.“, she greeted them.
The two also answered with a Hello and nodded their heads in greeting.
The woman stepped closer to Jungkook and took hold of his face to move his head
to her desires. She took her time looking at him.
„You’re really pretty for a human.“, she said , „I know your motive. Letting
yourself get turned into a wolf is a good choice, you’ll look this pretty a lot
longer, than as a human.“
She laughed when she saw Jungkook’s perplexed and slightly intimidated
expression and patted his cheek.
„I’m just joking around. I know that you’re only doing this because of the
Alpha behind you.“, she winked at them.
„Now let’s get everything ready, alright? Do you know how this is gonna go?“,
she asked and both of them shook their heads.
„Ok, so I’m gonna give you, more or less, a potion, that’s gonna trick your
body into thinking it’s not Taehyung’s mate for a short while, so his bite will
have the same effect on you as it would on every other human, namely turn you
into one of us. It’s only temporary, it’ll wear off in under an hour.
After Taehyung has bitten you’re gonna get something to make you sleep. The
transition from to a wolf can be rather painful. You can ask Taehyung on that
one, I’m sure.“
Jungkook glanced at his boyfriend and saw him pulling a face, as if only
remembering it is painful.
He shudders and brings his attention back to the healer.
„During the time you’re asleep your body is gonna turn and when you wake up,
you’ll be a werewolf. Simple as that.“
She glanced at both of them.
„Any questions?“
Jungkook opened his mouth.
„No? Good.“
She turned her back at them and busied herself with preparing Jungkook’s
potion.
The youngest snapped his mouth shut again and looked over to Taehyung, who only
shrugged.
She was pretty quick and in almost no time at all, Jungkook found himself
holding a rather big cup of greenish brown, hot liquid in his hands. It smelled
really bad and he had to fight down the urge to gag.
„I have to drink that?“, he asked a little skeptical.
„No, I have to drink it.“ the healer rolled her eyes, sarcasm dripping from her
words.
Taehyung almost snapped at her for talking like that to his mate.
Sure the question wasn’t the smartest thing that ever left his mouth, but it
still wasn’t necessary to be this rude.
Jungkook stared at the drink in his hand for a few moments before nodding to
himself shortly and downing the whole thing in one go.
The healer nodded pleased and Taehyung stared amazed at him when he handed her
the now empty cup back.
„I never want to do that again.“, he mumbled.
„You won’t have to, honey. Don’t worry.“, she said and ruffled his hair.
„Here, your sleep drink. Make sure your already on a bed or something when your
drinking it. It works pretty much immediately. And now go and get yourself
turned.“
She opened the door for them and Jungkook walked out first. Taehyung was almost
out of the room as well, when the healer grabbed his arm and held him back.
She pressed a little bottle into his hand.
„Here, I almost forgot. If he turns out to be an Omega, which is very likely,
give him this before you do anything to him, or you’re gonna be a teen dad
soon.“, she said and then pushed him out and closed the door behind him, before
he could say anything.
Jungkook was staring at him confused.
„Weird lady…“
Taehyung shrugged and slipped the bottle he just got into his back pocket.
„A little, yeah. But we’ve got everything now, so shall we go home?“
Jungkook nodded.
„I always wondered what your house looks like and what your parents are like.
I’m really excited to figure out all of the mysteries about you.“, the younger
grinned and grabbed Taehyung’s hand.
Taehyung chuckled and squeezed the others hand as they started walking.
„You’re cute, Kookie. Unfortunately I have to tell you, that you’ll have to
wait a little until you get to meet my parents. They’re out for a few days,
visiting my grandparents. My mother move from another clan here.“, he explained
and Jungkook pouted.
„Don’t worry babe, you’ll get to meet them eventually. They also very excited
to meet you, I can tell you that.“
He thought back to the day, when he told his Mom that Jungkook would stay over
for a few days and that he’ll turn him then.
She almost refused to go visit her parents, but Taehyung managed to convinced
her.
After all, if Jungkook really turned out to be an Omega, he didn’t really want
his parents to be around.
 
On the way to Taehyung’s house Jungkook almost ran into a bunch of people and
tripped over almost everything, because he was too busy looking around, than
paying attention to where he was walking.
That’s why Taehyung was really glad, when they finally made it to his house.
He let Jungkook enter first and take his time looking around while the older
waited on the bottom of the stairs, leading up to the bedrooms for him.
„Babe, I really don’t want to stress you, but we’re running out of time. Don’t
forget, the immunity is only temporary, so we better get this done quick.“
Jungkook looked a little guilty, when he trotted over to the wolf.
„Sorry…everything’s just so new. You know how curious I am.“
„I know, it’s fine. You can explore later, after everything’s done, ok?“
The younger nodded.
„Let’s go.“
Taehyung took Jungkook’s hand again and led him upstairs, into his bedroom and
made Jungkook sit on his bed.
„Do you have the sleep drink?“, Taehyung asked and the younger nodded, holding
up the bottle, with clear liquid inside.
„This better not be as nasty as the one before.“, he mumbled and Taehyung
laughed.
„I don’t know, we’ll see.“
The older’s smile suddenly dropped and he looked dead serious now.
„Are you really, really sure you want to do this? This is your very last chance
to say no.“
„Tae, look me in the eyes.“
He waited for the other to do so.
„Do I look unsure?“
Taehyung could read nervousness and a little fear in his eyes, but they were no
match for the determination in them. So he just nodded and stroked the other
cheek.
„I love you more than you know…“ the older said and kissed the other boy.
He grabbed the hem of Jungkook’s shirt and pulled it over his head.
„I’m gonna bite your side. It’s soft enough and I want to save your neck for
the mating bite.“, he explained.
„Will the first bite also scar over?“
Taehyung weighed his head from side to side.
„A little, but not as much as the mating bite. It will be like a normal scar,
it will be barely visible, once it has healed. The mating bite will always be
noticeable though. That ok?“
„Well, I can’t really influence it, can I? So yeah, I’m ok with it.“
„Ok, then let’s get this over with.“
Taehyung kissed Jungkook again and eased him onto his back, so that he was
lying comfortably on it.
He slowly kissed his way down Jungkook’s neck and chest until he came to a stop
at his stomach.
He pressed a kiss to his bellybutton and looked up at the younger.
„You’re shaking.“, Taehyung noted.
Jungkook nodded.
„I know. But I’m still not gonna back out, in case you were wondering.“
The older smiled slightly.
„I didn’t think you would.“
He stroked Jungkook’s side lovingly for a bit, before he spoke again.
„Ready?“
„Ready.“
Taehyung took a deep breath and let his wolf side take over, his canines
growing and his eyes flashing red as he sank his fangs into the boy's soft skin
and bit down hard.

Jungkook screamed. It hurt. It fucking hurt.
He tried to wiggle free, but Taehyung’s hold on his hips was way too strong,
for him to move even an inch.
Thankfully though, it lasted no longer than half a minute until Taehyung let go
of Jungkook’s side.
He licked over the heavily bleeding wound and looked up at his whimpering mate,
eyes still bright red.
„Jungkook.“, he growled out the name and the younger eyes shot open, from where
he had clenched them shut, to look at the older.
„Drink.“, he gave gave a pointed look at Jungkook’s hand, in which he hold the
bottle holding the sleep drink.
The younger scrambled to comply immediately and downed the whole bottle in one
go.
The effect was almost immediate, as promised.
Within a few seconds Jungkook was unconscious.
Meanwhile Taehyung went back to lick at the fresh bite, to seal it and help it
heal quickly.
When he was satisfied with his work, he got up and moved to cover the boy with
a soft blanket and then sat down next to him.
Even though Jungkook was asleep now, Taehyung could still notice that the boy
was in pain, by the small whimpers that left his lips continuously for the next
few hours.
It kept Taehyung’s wolf on edge until he eventually just couldn’t keep his eyes
open anymore and just passed out next to his mate.
The fact that he hasn't been able to sleep for the last 2 nights, now fully
taking a toll on him.
 
When Jungkook woke up, he felt hot. Like, really hot. His insides felt like
they had been lit on fire.
The only parts that didn’t feel like the skin’s gonna melt off any minute, was
where Taehyung touched him.
The younger whimpered and pressed himself closer to the sleeping body besides
him, burrowing his face in the others neck.
How come he had never noticed just how good the other smelled?
Don’t get him wrong, Taehyung’s smell was always comforting to the younger and
made him feel safe and at home, but this…wow. It just couldn’t be compared.
He whined softly and licked at the older’s neck, which caused said boy’s eyes
to snap open.
They instantly focused on the smaller boy pressed against his front.
His eyes turned red again, as he took in the younger’s smell. He smelled like
cherry blossoms and Taehyung’s mouth began to water.
Yep, he was definitely an Omega.
He shook his head in order to clear his thoughts a little.
„Jungkook.“
His voice came out growly and the boy whined again, pressing his body closer to
the Alpha’s.
Taehyung could feel how sweaty Jungkook was and his hard dick pressing against
his abdomen.
He held back the urge to just rip the boy’s cloths off and fuck him into the
mattress right now.
He needed to take things a little slower at the beginning, make sure Jungkook
was ok first.
„Hey, baby. Look at me.“
He gently took hold of the younger’s face and angled it up towards him to meet
the younger’s eyes.
„You have to be patient for a bit, I need to go and grab some things first,
ok?“
Tears began to well up in Jungkook’s eyes at the thought of the older leaving
him. Why would he leave him, did he do something wrong?
„No! No, please.“ ,he whined pitifully, „Don’t leave me!“
Taehyung’s heart hurt at the image the younger boy was portraying, but he
needed to go downstairs to grab a couple bottles of water and some energy bars,
before he lost control over his instincts. He also had to made sure Jungkook
drank the potion first.
He stroked the younger’s head and pressed a kiss against his forehead, feeling
how hot his skin felt.
„I’m not leaving you, I’m just quickly going to grab a few things from the
kitchen. I’ll be back before you know it.“, he removed Jungkook’s arms with a
gentle force.
„Just stay here and be a good boy.“
He pressed a last kiss to the Omega’s face and made his way down to the kitchen
as quickly as possible. The wails of his mate following him.
He could feel his wolf clawing at his mind, enraged at him for leaving their
mate, when he needed them the most. But he pushed him to the back and
concentrated on getting everything he needed to last them a while.
When he got everything he sprinted back upstairs to his bedroom, threw all the
things he’s carried on a chair and joined his crying mate.
 
Jungkook felt devastated as he watched Taehyung leave.
Logically he knew, that he would be back in less than 5 minutes, but newly
present wolf in his mind didn’t understand, and since the omega in him had the
upper hand in this, he couldn’t do anything to stop the feelings.
He let out pitiful cries, even as he felt Taehyung coming back and joining him
again. He just couldn’t stop.
Jungkook felt strong arms around him and he got pulled against the older’s
chest, his scent filling all his mind and calming the wailing Omega in him.
Taehyung pressed kisses to the younger’s head and face and Jungkook felt
contend.
Even though he was still burning up and horny, he relaxed at the attention he
was given.
They stayed like that for a few moments, before Taehyung pulled back, though
still making sure some part of his body was touching Jungkook.
The younger made a confused noise, as he saw his mate pull out a small bottle
filled with a pale green liquid.
Taehyung opened it and held it in front of Jungkook, but the boy moved back,
the smell of the bottle’s content disgusting to him. But Taehyung’s hand
followed.
„Drink.“, he said, but the younger shook his head and moved back even more.
„Please.“
A head- shake.
„Not even for me?“
Head-shake.
Taehyung growled, his patience slowly slipping, as his instincts took over more
and more. He hated doing this, but the younger left him no other choice.
He needed him to drink it.
„Omega.“, he growled, his voice hitting a new found depth, directly addressing
the wolf inside Jungkook.
The younger’s head shot up at the sound of Taehyung’s Alpha voice.
The older’s eyes were red and Jungkook found himself unable to look away.
Taehyung put a hand on the back of the other’s head, gripped his hair lightly
and pulled him closer again.
He pressed the small bottle to Jungkook’s lips and used his grip to tilt the
younger’s head back a little. Never breaking eye contact during the process.
„Drink.“, he growled out and Jungkook wouldn’t even be able to resist, if he
wanted to.
The Omega in him to weak to even think about disobeying his Alpha when he used
that voice.
And so, he swallowed the bitter substance, without a complain.
Taehyung let go of the other’s hair, instead stroking it lovingly.
„Good boy.“, he murmured, causing Jungkook to blush and Taehyung to chuckle.
„You did such a good job, such a good Omega for me.“, he growled the last part
and Jungkook suddenly felt a strange kind of wetness at his rear and made a
confused noise, looking up at Taehyung for answers.
But Taehyung just stared at him, his nostrils flaring a little, as he took in
the scent of the Omega’s slick. The look in his eyes hungry and predatory.
Honestly, it scared Jungkook a little, reminding him of the night, when
Taehyung presented.
He let out a small whimper and moved back a little, but Taehyung caught him
around the hips and pulled him back down the bed.
„No need to be scared, baby. Alpha will take good care of you.“
Jungkook dick twitched and another wave of slick left him, as Taehyung referred
to himself as Alpha. He didn’t know it was so arousing, but he didn’t have the
mind to question it.
Taehyung smirked at his reaction and leaned over him, caging him in with his
arms.

He let one of his hands slip under the younger’s shirt, tracing his fingers

Jungkook couldn’t stand the other’s gaze anymore and hid his face behind his
