It would not be that grave of a problem if all said dreams did not involve the last person on earth Ritsu should be lusting over: his big brother Shigeo. See the end of the work for more notes ***** Dreams and illusions ***** The dream started appearing for the very first time when Ritsu was fifteen, and he dismissed it as a weird concoction of his hormone-fueled teenage brain, some strange by-product of his subconscious. However, he was not let alone for long until the dream returned again, once or twice every two weeks, each with new features and increasingly detailed, and that worried Ritsu quite a bit. He was not alarmed that he had wet dreams, which according to scientific studies and sex-ed classes are completely normal among teenagers; nor he was alarmed that apparently his partner in all those dreams is a male, since it was the 21st century already, who would be homophobic anymore? At least Ritsu could be sure he was not asexual. The alarming fact was all of his dream featured Shigeo, the last one Ritsu should think of in a sexual-romantic light, much less lusting over in his subconscious. To hell with Freud and his ridiculous, incestuous theories and Oedipus complex. He missed the time when life was easy. Outside, Ritsu acted normally towards his brother, since he was an outstanding actor, and even more masterful in hiding his own emotions and thoughts. Moreover, it was true that he did not see his brother around a lot lately, which saved Ritsu from a plethora of unwanted hardships. Maybe Shigeo did sense that something was wrong after all so he deliberately distanced himself. Well, no. Shigeo didn’t suspect a thing. He couldn’t, since Ritsu went to great length to play the role of a good younger brother, and buried that dark, unlawful thoughts deep in a safe inside his mind. Still, that meant those thoughts linger. His brain tracked Shigeo as he sucked and licked a popsicle and somehow converted it into the image of Shigeo’s mouth wrapped around another length. His eyes lingered on Shigeo’s lean body sometimes when he was shirtless, or when he was wearing that cute tank-top. Shigeo worked out diligently, but he was by no means bulky, but instead lithe and built like a dancer since his body didn’t stack up muscles without difficulty, and Ritsu figured it was truly for the best because Shigeo looked perfect the way he was. Ritsu liked that Shigeo was a few centimeters shorter than him. Oh, and one time he heard his brother moaned all bedroomy as he stretched and had to excuse himself immediately to the bathroom to relieve his raging need. It was counter-productive, since the more he tried to suppress these ideas, the more it grew onto him parasitically, like a sickness, a disease, a cancerous bundle of cells that he had to live with for the rest of his life. He was so sick in the head, but no one was supposed to know, so it was fine. This gross infatuation was simply his subconscious mistaking his lifelong hero-worship and brotherly love for Shigeo and twisted it into something taboo and sinister. A bug in the system that will one day naturally goes away into thin air as if it has never come into existence in the first place-nothing more, nothing less. Would he someday act on this urge? This particular was a territory Ritsu did not dare to wander into. Still, Ritsu was tormented each night, and would rather have nightmarish flashbacks of every single time he was captured and beaten up than having dreams involving having sex with Shigeo. Not like the dream-sex was bad in the very least. In fact, it was the opposite-so wonderful and incredible that left Ritsu awake, heaving, drilling holes into the ceiling with the force of his stare and reliving every single moment of pleasure with a guilty hand stuck down his boxers. It was the guilt and the wrongness of it all that made him want to just stay awake than go to bed and have to deal with all the implication of dream Shigeo’s visits. The Shigeo in his dream was a masterpiece materialized (not far from reality in that aspect), with all taut frame, lean muscles and sweet voice. Dream Shigeo was not fixed, but constantly shifting- sometimes he was a blushing virgin, all sweet and innocent, and the closest version possible to that of the real deal; and a lot of the time he was a needy, slutty minx, riding Ritsu with abandon with his head thrown back, hair dishelved, sucking Ritsu’s energy out like a succubus; and the other times Shigeo was somewhere in between, experienced but not that much of a sex god, and he guided Ritsu through all the steps and wonders of the adult world  with a gentleness that left him breathless-and this was probably his favorite version of Shigeo his dreams could offer. Ritsu felt like he was haunted by the Shigeo in his dreams, even when he was awake. Still, he was confident of his ability to discern between illusions and reality, the Shigeo who was a figment of his fantasy and the real, flesh and blood big brother. They couldn’t have been more different: the dream Shigeo for some reason never utter a word, always silent, yet his face so expressive; the real Shigeo could speak yet his face ever-so undeciferable. Shigeo would probably be worried if he knew, not really disgusted, since Ritsu knew his brother’s admirable capacity for love and forgiveness, he would probably accept Ritsu’s feelings. However, his brother seemed to never get over the beautiful, female Tsubomi with her big round eyes and long silky hair, obsessing over the girl ever since they were kids. Just a while ago Shigeo just mustered enough courage to go ask Tsubomi on a date, and she agreed. Ritsu hoped they would break up soon, discovering they might not meant to be. Big brother must be devastated, but he deserved his lesson. Shigeo would come back running into his open arms for comfort, and Ritsu would be lying if he denied having any satisfaction at the separation, which made him kind of disgust with himself for harboring such unacceptable emotions. He should be happy if Shigeo was happy, and sad when he was; not being such a treacherous bastard who wanted to fuck his brother. At least, on the bright side, his power feeds on all of this conflicted feelings growing within his psyche, and he could feel the pain, guilt and a tinge of lust running through his vein when he spent time honing and perfecting his psychic ability. Maybe Shigeo would better of being with a nice woman, in a socially acceptable relationship, and it saved all the troubles. Ritsu was conflicted, believing both that the two of them would face discrimination if they were to date, and that Ritsu was the only one in this world deserving of Shigeo, who would end up unhappy lest he ended up with any other person. The hormone-fuelled dreams not only led Ritsu challenge his whole moral system, but more importantly also call into doubt his entire relationship with Shigeo. Ritsu thought perhaps, the implications were not simply lustful infatuation, but something even higher- romantic love. At night, he rolled down onto his bed, half expecting the night-time visitor. Dreams came and went, no one could remember where exactly the dream started, only could recall the most vivid section. Ritsu did not know how he got there either, but he was on a table in an empty, generic classroom looking at the familiar whorl of Shigeo’s dark hair that he would recognize every where, dark color and soft texture just like his. Shigeo pulled back and looked up, eyes twinkling playfully, as he stuck out his small pink tongue and performed some kitten licks on his head, lapping all the precum had already pooled over, a dangerous paradox of eroticism and naiveté. All of the sudden, Shigeo dipped down and took all of his shaft inside his wetness. The sun was setting outside, and the warm color of sunset painted his big brother’s face in a glowing halo. Ritsu was worshipped by god himself. Big brother was taking in his mouth and moaning around it like a pro, hunger burning like a wanderer lost in the desert, and couldn’t be further from the virginal real him. In his delirious state, Ritsu noticed some squelching sounds, and looked down only to find Shigeo had his fingers buried inside his ass, hips rolling smoothly in a wave trying to getting himself ready for Ritsu. Ritsu came at the sight of that alone, and the screen went dark.   Even before he was even aware of what was going on, he had his brother spreading out on his bed, dark hair pooling on his pillow. Ritsu was driving into him, who had one of his leg over Ritsu’s shoulder. Their hands were linked together, fingers entwined tightly. Then something unprecedented happened: Shigeo started speaking, hoarse voice echoed into the darkness of their room. Ritsu searched his brother’s face for an answer, and found only a mixture of sadness and guilt. “I couldn’t be with her, and it’s because of you, Ritsu. A while ago, I realized that I have no longer have a crush on Tsubomi after all. The one I want was you, and you alone.” He closed his eye as if in pain. “I knew it was wrong, but I couldn’t stop it from happening. I could say nothing but the truth, so I choose to say nothing.” Shigeo looked so torn and miserable, Ritsu was crestfallen as he just wanted to kiss all the pain away and tell him that he should not feel this way, for something so natural and innocent as love. Destiny was an indiscriminately cruel beast, bestowing on a fragile frame with such great power, then cursed him with such an illegitimate desire. Just before Ritsu managed to open his mouth, the dream ended. He was quick to forget about that incidence, disregarding it as a wish- fulfillment kind of dream. Shigeo only said that because it was what Ritsu wanted to hear. The Shigeo in his dream bended to his will the way the same way his spoon effortlessly twist up under the influence of his power. The skin and bones Shigeo was endearingly cruel in his obliviousness of Ritsu’s feelings. ===============================================================================   One day, Shigeo came home after a date with his girlfriend, looking absolutely spent and devastated, and Ritsu really thought maybe his secret wish had become true. Stupid woman who never learned what a kind soul Shigeo was, or appreciate his outstanding power in the correct way. People look at their physiques and make immediate judgement, but Ritsu knew better that Shigeo was an artwork carved by god himself, endowed with and destined for greatness, and Shigeo would better off being with someone who understood him, loved him unconditionally and not simply want to take advantage of his kindness, unlike all those bastards Teru, the con man, or Dimple. During their family dinner, Ritsu kept sneaking glances to check on his brother, making sure that he was doing okay. He accidentally twisted up his spoon once again, a mistake more common when he was lost in his troubles. They oblivious parents did not decipher a thing wrong with their children, keep going on tangent about some neighborhood gossips that Ritsu had no interest in. He was busy paying attention to Shigeo. After the meal, he caught up to Shigeo at the the stair towards their rooms, whispering into his ear. “What’s wrong?” Shigeo was quite startled by his sudden attempt at making conversation, since they had not interact much lately. Well, Ritsu was about to fix that. “Oh, well, I got into a fight and broke up with Tsubomi.” Shigeo deadpanned in his usual mild, soft voice which Ritsu absolutely adored. Ritsu channelled a face of a concerning good brother and tried not to smirk at least outwardly. “I’m sorry. I hope you guys make up soon.” His sympathetic tone was perfect. “It’s not happening though. I was the one to end this.” Oh, that was new. He really did not expect that. Ritsu wanted to draw more information out of his big brother but then decided against it after taking his guarded body language into consideration. Shigeo would tell him when the time came, by his own accord.  He called out to Shigeo who was reaching out to the doorknob. “You are going to be fine, big brother.” Shigeo turned his head around to look at him, his expression something Ritsu could not quite pin down, full of something akin to regret. He smiled reassuringly, nodded and whispered back a quiet goodnight. In his dream that night, Ritsu found himself looking down Shigeo’s small back, spine curving delicately like a question mark. He was soon to have his fingers inside his big brother’s core, velvety and hot and sucking him in hungrily like Shigeo could never get enough. The older’s hip kept jerking frantically towards him to meet his touch. Ritsu moved his fingers around, focusing on making Shigeo feel good and getting him ready for the main event. He was the faux- expert of dream Shigeo’s body. He slided into Shigeo, not really on his own volition but by an irresistible pull of the other’s body. The gaping void inside his brother calling out to him so that they can fully commit the ritual of bodies joining together in the most intimate sense of the words. It felt incredible. Inches by inches, he watched in awe as his length slowly disappearing into Shigeo’s tightness. Shigeo had his face hidden away from his view, his moans and whimpers somehow sounding like distressed weepings, which worried Ritsu since he was uncertain if the crying was from bliss or agony. Shigeo switched to biting on his forearm to silence his hiccups. Ritsu wanted to reach out to look at his face, but as always Ritsu was powerless in these dreams, looking down from above like a spectator to their sexual escapades, a stranger to his own body. His subconscious yearning for dominance over Shigeo overridden his will to console him. Instead his hands settled with running along Shigeo’s spine, goosebumps and shivers in his wake, and pressed down his brother’s neck, using the leverage to thrust hard and fast exactly how Shigeo wanted it. Tonight would not be one of those vanilla lovemaking type of things. If his big brother somehow wanted to be punished, then he would get what he wanted since Ritsu was more than willing to service him. He duly noted that dream Shigeo fell back to the familiar routine of fucking and saying nothing, which was fine with Ritsu since it was the way things originally were anyway. Words were overrated, only fools fell for them, and his big brother had conveyed enough. Sorrow emanating from Shigeo flowed into his bloodstream like fluid, bursting inside his lungs, choking him up. Ritsu felt like he was grieving a withered womb. Maybe the unborn was their love. ***** Revelation ***** Chapter Notes Ritsu learned something new about himself and his brother. See the end of the chapter for more notes  Pleased as he was with the inevitable break-up of Shigeo’s relationship, Ritsu felt the need to cheer his brother up by distracting him with other things and making sure he knew that Tsubomi did not deserve him anyway. Ritsu decided to pick up his brother after he worked at Reigen’s office to grab his favorite takoyaki, since every issues could be fixed with comfort food and time. Nothing good came from munching on our past. Ritsu glanced down at his watch to find he arrived at the office’s door 10 minutes before the shift ended, as expected. Fortunately, it was a slow day, apparently both Reigen and Shigeo were staying inside, so he did not have to return empty-handed. He heard a faint, soft voice belonging to no one but his brother, and put his ear close to the door to listen in on, since he had nothing to do while waiting anyway. “Master Reigen, a friend of mine is having weird dreams lately, involving a person he really should not be with. The dreams have been recurring for 3 months, and he even broke up with his girlfriend. What should he do?” It was obvious to any random listener that Shigeo was talking about his own dilemma. Could it be that Shigeo was having dreams about his girlfriend? No way, that was unlikely, since he broke up with her because he felt like the dreams were interfering with the course of their relationship. Literally every single person Shigeo knew except for Tsubomi was not a viable option polls for elimination method. More importantly, were his brother and Reigen so close that he was comfortable with bringing this kind of private topic up? Ritsu never got along with Reigen, that lying perverted bastard getting by deceiving people of their money. “Ay ay ay, I know we are close, but don’t bring your wet dreams up to your master again. Too much information! I believe they will naturally go away soon as you grow up past this age….” “It’s for my friend, Master. What if … it was about a family member?” “It is legally possible if they are cousins once-removed. Else, no. Okay woah, this discussion needs to end here. I will not talk to you about this …” He ceased to make out words after that. Ritsu’s heart stopped, sweats ran cold on his neck. What was that? Maybe he misheard, because it was truly impossible, something too good to be true even. Pieces of clues fell into their place neatly like puzzles as Ritsu’s mind furiously processing what were just said, and even as he tried to be rational and objective, even a distant part of himself still were hopeful. His brother said that it was a family member. Ritsu was a strong contender-he was exactly Shigeo’s family member. In addition, three months ago was the exact time around which his own dreams of the older boy started to appear. It honestly seemed to be too much of a coincidence, for them to have lustful dreams about the same time. Ritsu tried to recall the only words Dream Shigeo every said to him, what were they? He said he was going to break up with his girlfriend soon, because of Ritsu, and a few days later he did exactly that. So in the realm of reality and not just his own fantasy, Shigeo broke up with her because of he was in love with Ritsu, was dreaming about Ritsu fucking him and was beating himself over that fact believing he was despicable for fantasizing about his little brother in such intimate fashion. They had been dreaming together all this time, and the realization made Ritsu want to shed tears of relief and contentment knowing their love were reciprocal. It was heartbreakingly romantic. They came to this world from the same womb, and now they shared the same dream. Everything made so much sense it must be fate. The essence of Kageyama brothers’ psychic ability was repressions of emotions, negative ones being especially efficient fuel, therefore the more they try to suppress their desire, the more fervent they burn, manifesting as an explosion of energy. Their hearts called out to each other escaping their knowledge, from the depth of their psyches, and found solace in the haven of their subconscious. Away from the world unable to neither sympathize with nor tolerate their rightful sentiments, they constructed their own little universe where they could act upon their wants, without fear of judgement and consequences, destroying every boundary raised by the society conspiring of “civilized” animals. In dreams, no one could subject them to their verdict. In dreams, they were stripped bare down to their actual selves as exquisite monstrous creatures, brimming with lust and hungry for freedom, sick to death of forever crawling about in their respective cages. Ritsu heard the doorknob turning, and walked out his big brother, who looked absolutely nervous since his little brother standing a door away when he voiced his most giantic, darkest secret concerning said brother. To prevent Shigeo from hyperventilating at that moment, Ritsu explained himself with a cheerful smile. “Hi, I’m picking you up today because I thought that we haven’t hang out for quite some times. Let’s go grab some takoyaki to cheer you up, big brother.” They ordered a portion of take-away takoyaki to eat along the way. Walking home as the night was falling, they talked about school, work, or interesting things at school, in short a ton of catching up. As expected, they did not talk about their love life, with Shigeo evading the topic and Ritsu considerately not mentioning the break-up. That evening reminded the younger Kageyama of how much he missed being around Shigeo like this, talking about everything and nothing at all, just enjoying each other’s company. Their interaction was honestly quite awkward for a while, which now Ritsu was relieved knowing it was not completely his sole fault. Ritsu was giddy at how lovey-dovey they was as he noticed sometimes their shoulders accidentally brush, or when he tried to feed Shigeo a bite. Maybe dating for lovers was supposed to be something like this. By the time they arrived at their house, the sky was dyed in a dark purple and the road light were turned on. Ritsu found himself hoping that time somehow run slower, so they can be like this, just a bit longer.   ===============================================================================   That night, Ritsu couldn’t sleep. He was feeling restless, thrashing around the sheets, incapable of silencing his chaotic thoughts. He wondered what Shigeo was dreaming about if they were not asleep at the same time. Checking the clock to see it was 11 PM, Ritsu climbed off his bed, and in the spur of the moment, he sneaked out towards his brother’s room. Ritsu knocked the door guiltily for waking Shigeo up, just to be pleasantly surprised that his brother was also awake and answered the door immediately. He did not have any more time to waste, for he had been waiting for all his life. Ritsu sneaked in without receiving permission, walking past Shigeo toward the window. Ritsu quietly confided before Shigeo had a chance to question why he was there or had not sleep. “Big brother, I overheard you talking to Reigen today. You said you were dreaming about someone. Such a coincidence, because I also had dreams about someone as well…” Shigeo looked all dissapointed and deflated, like a kicked puppy. Heart aching at the sight, Ritsu immediately clarified himself. “You know, that person is you, big brother. I dream about big brother, you and you alone, nights after nights, months after months.” Ritsu paused for emphasis after revealing his most private secret, waiting for Shigeo to let the gravity of the announcement sink in. The expression on the other Kageyama sibling was priceless, his eyes wide open and glazed over in confusion, mouth parted, face bursting out in a brilliant red. “Ritsu… are you joking? I-I don’t unders-stand what you are talking about.” Shigeo stuttered. “Oh, brother dearest, haven’t I got myself across? I mean, I’m in love with you.” The truth poured out of him, and he felt so light as if a literal weight he carried was dropped off his heart. Ritsu then finally understood why the barber had to go that far to reveal the truth of the king with donkey’s ear, shouting their secret to the void. Letting the cat out of the bag was so enormous a relief that he almost did not regret nor care about the possible grave consequences. Yet Ritsu was not quite prepared for the tears came rolling down Shigeo’s face like summer rain, fat little drops and scorchingly hot. He tried to wipe, or maybe hide away the tears with his hands. Shigeo was so lovely, even when he cried. No, especially when he cried, his tears were sacred, proofs of his indescribable grief of a ill-fated soul who experienced everything so strongly and so deeply. His big brother whispered between hiccups. “Ritsu…I’m really surprised… I-I don’t know what to do..” Ritsu decided to turn his mind off a bit and trust the instinct to comfort his big brother, to which he complied by pulling Shigeo into a tight hug. Hush, no need to be worried. Whatever happened happened, as they would always have each other. Their lips met and he melted into each other’s embrace, feeling hopeful and excited. All of a sudden, as if awaken from a stupor, Shigeo pushed him away, making the taller boy take a few steps back. Shigeo covered his face with his palm, small frame hunching over and trembling in anguish. “I can’t. This is so wrong, what was I thinking? You are my little brother! Neither should I have feelings for you, nor can we be together! Master said…” “Master, master again, it is always him! Why should we mind what he or anyone think and say about us? Aren’t our feelings genuine and natural? Aren’t we deserving of love?” Ritsu countered and grabbed Shigeo by his arm to make his brother pay attention. His own voice sounded frustrated then devolved into something desperate, not far from a plea. Shigeo panicked and shoved him hard. The younger brother lost his balance, falling head first towards the floor. When Ritsu back was supposed to hit a hard surface, he kept falling past the wooden surface into the fathomless darkness below that pulled him in, its ravenous cave swallowing him whole. Then he blacked out. He woke up in his bed, sweating profusely and head pounding. The clock displayed 6 AM in the morning. Ritsu could not remember the last time he had a dream with Shigeo in it that involved no sex and so much talking back and forth. He was not even sure if it was just a dream, or it was real, because it seemed to be so. He stared at the ceiling, his thoughts swimming in turmoil. Would it even matter then, illusions or reality? The fact that it happened was a rehearsal of how his confession would probably go down. In his titillation at finding that their love was mutual, Ritsu forgot this basic part of his brother’s characteristics. Of course Shigeo would not want to act out on his true feelings, a social animal he was, always desperately craving to fit in and be accepted by the society that rejected him for who he was. First they condemned him for his psychic abilities, then for his love, perpetually demanding and not even rewarding a single praise. Ritsu could never understand that part of his beloved brother. Well maybe Ritsu did understand, but it did not mean that he agree with the viewpoint. He absentmindedly recalled the guilt and conflicted torments he encountered when he was battling with his emotions and desire towards Shigeo, and could not possibly describe it as something pleasant, to put it in a gross understatement. Every fibre of his being was telling him that it was deplorable by society standards for people of the same bloodline to be attracted to one another. Nevertheless, Ritsu soon made peace with that unacceptable part of him and social expectations, thinking that what society dictated can be wrong in many points, and while Ritsu himself wanted to stop those sinful thoughts, he couldn’t anyway. No use wasting your energy over something you had no control over, especially for something as stupid and useless as social conventions. On the other hand, his brother, a law-abiding citizen, always desperate to be accepted by others, must felt a thousand time fold afflicted by the same feeling. He was soon to conclude from a young age, that the world was only a enlarged game of chess, and even though Ritsu knew the rules and played his pieces with finesse, it did not mean that he remotely agreed with the ridiculously rigid world structure filled with injustices, one constantly attempting to squeezes people in its molds of expectation, shoving what they should want and become down their throats. Ritsu needed no such empty validations. He submitted to absolutely no one, not even this society, and he would damn sure make Shigeo look at the world the way Ritsu always did as well, that they owe nothing to anyone. Let him get rid of those chains for his brother. If they were to fall, the reason would be of their own makings. They were their own masters of themselves as well as the sole judges of their practices. People could preach and preach about all that is considered virtuous and noble, but their words became meaningless vibrations the moment they touch his ears, and dissipated into thin air as if they never previously came into existence. Chapter End Notes Kudos and Comments are appreciated! Ritsu wanted to make his brother’s yearning for him and the satisfaction of them being together trumped his fear of their tryst being discovered and the guilt that went along with it. In short, he was fully intended to start his operation of Shigeo seduction. The flirtation started with the slightest of cursive touch, which involved a brush of their shoulders as they walked to school, innocently helping the shorter boy wipe his mouth during meal, a light pressure of his hand on the low of Shigeo’s back a few seconds before pulling away, leaving his brother flustered and confused. It also involved a lot of prolonged eye contact, shameless invasion of his brother’s personal space and putting their faces in close proximity. He channeled the puppy eyes as well as the lady killer smile reserved to asking women for their favor, hoping it would also work on the other Kageyama boy. It surely did, based on his embarrassed reaction and his quiet permission for those contact, even leaning in as if savoring the feeling. As dense when it came to feelings as Shigeo was, his flirtatiousness might escape his brother’s notice, but surely not his subconscious craving for Ritsu’s touch. By Ritsu’s suggestion, they met up during lunchtime, escaping to the rooftop to together munching on the bentos their mother prepared. They sat side by side, arms pressed together. The weather was pleasant, crystal blue sky upwards with lazy clouds drifting. Ritsu laid his head on the older boy’s shoulder pretending to doze off, amused at how Shigeo stiffened a bit but then slowly relax to the touch by directing his attention to his textbook. Shigeo was so adorable that way. As the wind  was caressing his face, he almost felt asleep for real (so much for faking). His brother softly woke him up by tapping fingers on his arm when they had to return to their afternoon classes. The rest of his boring days with classes and respective extracurricular activities went by incredibly fast with nothing notable, since his mind kept drifting to the thought of a certain person. Ritsu hanged around the school a bit waiting Shigeo to finished off his body building club to walked home together. ===============================================================================   Knowing his brother was taking a bath, the way he usually did before going to bed, Ritsu pushed the door to find Shigeo was taking a brief shower before soaking. In an innocent manner, he asked: “May I take a bath together with you, brother, like back then when we were young?” Shigeo furiously blushed down to his neck, stammered out a weak “yes” while nodding. Ritsu smiled and pulled a chair to sit next to his brother and started cleaning himself. All the while acting oblivious, he felt the shorter boy’s gaze glued to his toned chest and biceps, slowly drifting downwards and suddenly directed away when Shigeo was aware that he was staring. Ritsu was not vain as he did not care much for his looks, but he did know from others’ reactions that people think he looked handsome. Shigeo should know that he was more than welcomed stare at Ritsu’s body to his heart content. It was only fair since Ritsu was sneaking cursive glimpse at Shigeo himself for that matter, taking in his muscles and fair skin appreciatively, forming a mental picture of how Shigeo would look later writhing on the sheets. Shigeo in his naked state was a sight to behold. His imagination ran wild beyond his control. Ritsu demanded to wash Shigeo hair, fingers running through silky strands and massaging his scalps to make the other boy feel good, and in turn, Shigeo would washed his back. He could feel the tension thick in the air as they touched each other’s skin in a seemingly familial manner, and was not totally sure his breathing problems stemmed from the steam or his being hot and bothered. It was all excuses anyway, and a poorly concealed one at that. Shigeo climbed in the bathtub, clearly looking away from Ritsu in embarrassment. Ritsu purposely let out a groan as he slowly sunk down in the bathtub as well, amused at his brother’s startled reaction. The tub was not very large, and while it comfortably fit both of them when they was smaller, now seemed a bit cramped but it was for the better since their legs were brushing in a nice way. “This is just like that when we was small, right Ritsu?” Ritsu agreed, fingers playing with Shigeo’s wet hair. “Yes, oh how I missed this.” They stayed there until the skin on their fingertips wrinkled and the water got cold. ===============================================================================   Ritsu applied his power onto the lock of his brother’s bedroom, and it slided open effortlessly. He got inside and carefully locked the door behind him. It was dark within the room but for the moon and the light from the road lamps from the window. It was not exactly a problem, for his two eyes already well- acquainted to the darkness, were quick to noticed the figure of his brother lying on the futon. The boy thought maybe what he was doing was illegal, particularly of private property invasion. He could not care less though. Ritsu moved around without a sound, a shadow whose feet barely touch the ground, and sat down next to the sleeping boy. Ritsu could not recall the last time he saw his brother sleeping peacefully like this. He admired Shigeo’s soft and angelic features the way one admired the beauty of Renaissance paintings, brushing his knuckles gently along the curve of his cheekbones adorned by moonlight. Shigeo’s eyes opened sleepily, confused to what exactly was going on for someone was in his bedroom. Ritsu smiled down at him, and Shigeo dazedly smiled back. He dipped his head down towards his brother’s soft lips, paused just half a centimeter away waiting, and Shigeo closed the distance and returned the kiss, first a bit hesitantly, drugged with sleep, then devolved into an act increasingly wild, untamed and obscene. Ritsu witnessed thousands of galaxies colliding and exploding underneath his closed eyelids; they crashed and they burned. He took in the burn of intoxicating fumes from dying stars. (How can you tell if you are living in a dream or in real life? You can’t, for dreams were the greatest trickster of all time. In dreams, even the most outrageous occurrence, from soaring amongst the stars, to being the conqueror of imaginary lands, to making out with your brother, seemed authentic, indiscernible to life. There was a philosophical theory that proposed maybe we were simply a brain living in a eternal, hyper-realistic simulation created by a mad scientist, that everything we experienced ever since we were brought to this world until the exact moment, every single person we had met and yet to met, every experience and emotion we had ever felt, were parts of such grand encompassing disguise, and simply fraudulent. The absurd assumption, which no one could prove otherwise, made a great thought experiment. It highlight the subjective nature of our experience of our surrounding, and the fact that each of us humans are fundamentally alone, a brain in the darkness of our skulls never gets to see the sunlight if we are fortunate. Moreover, it blurs the thin boundary between illusions and realities, just like how dreams work. We were the unknowing, oblivious gods of our own dream state, constructing and destroying our imaginary universe as we go and experiencing every fabricated sensations as if they were physical. The only way to discern between the fictional and the real was that dreams ended when you woke up. He hoped they both never wake up, forever existing in limbo, a land between reality and illusions.) Ritsu felt like they had been making out for hours, but then if that was the case how could every sensation strange and intense, every touch a discovery of the unknown, every quiet gasp a foreign sound to a newborn. He thought he came prepared, but he was only a kid who knew little of human intimacy. He used to foolishly think sex was overrated while in fact, it was grossly underrated. Trembling with anticipation, Ritsu fumbled with the buttons on Shigeo’s pyjamas, fingertips tracing in awe the intricate lacework of vines underneath smooth paper skin presented to him. He ran his finger from the curve of his neckline, past the indentation of his adam’s apple, the hollows of his delicate collarbones, down to his toned chest and the dip of his stomach. Shigeo’s body instinctively curved upwards to chase after his touch, spine shaped in a perfect curve, the cobra to his snake charmer. Ritsu experienced this innumerable times in his dreams and having done every unspeakable lewd things he knew of to one another, but imagination was just simply a construct of his feeble inexperienced mind. This, was different. Incomparable. He was dying a thousand deaths and being reborn just as much times. Ritsu leaned down and nuzzled his face on Shigeo’s neck, inhaling the musk of his sweat and the body soap that they shared. The possessive beast in him secretly took pleasure in the fact that they smelled the same. The same monster rejoiced as he sucked on his brother’s neck, gentle enough not to draw blood, hard enough to leave a mark that he would have a hard time explaining to any perceptive person. A claim in regards of to whom Shigeo belonged to. Ritsu moved on to take the hardened nipple (which he could not help but notice while they were bathing together) into his mouth, earning him a loud whimper from the other. Ritsu unlearned just to relearned everything, mapping his brother’s body down to the most insignificant details, studying his reactions and expressions with the devotion often found in religious followers to sacred gospels. “You can touch me, nii-san.” Ritsu purred against his brother’s chest as he guided his brother’s hand towards his lower part. He took pity at the older boy’s dumbstruck expressions, somehow forgetting what he was allowed to do. Shigeo curiously shoved his hand down Ritsu’s pants, and he luxuriated in the feeling of the exploratory, timid touch. Yet the younger Kageyama was impatient. He pushed down both of their pants to expose their cocks, flushed and hard. He tried to do the only thing on his mind at that moment : to push their hips together, their hot length sliding over each other. He gasped at the delicious friction. He kept grinding their hips together and felt Shigeo body moving graceful yet wild and untamed below him like waves crashing on rocks. He grinded down as Shigeo pushed up, frantically meeting each other halfway, bodies moving together in perfectly messy tango as a bundle of awkward limbs. Yet the pleasure was building up but it was not enough to quench their insatiable thirst. The younger boy stopped moving as the other tapped on his chest to signal to him. With a look of determination on his face, his brother rose up on his elbow, and gently push Ritsu to sit down. His eyes were a silent ask for permission, and Ritsu nodded. He expected, but not quite prepared for what was coming next, as his big brother took him into his mouth. All oxygen was pushed out of his lung. He temporarily forgot the first thing he learned as a human being, which was to breathe, as all he could do was gasping for air. His mind flashed back to every occasion of their night time encounters and found them lacking. Illusions were all but faint shadows of reality. Shigeo was inexperienced, but he knew all the basics, if their dreams were any indication of such. Where he lacked field experience, his eagerness did make up for it, and Ritsu was no judge when himself was ever on the receiving end of real fellatio action. The way his brother focused all his mind to the task was endearing, lips wrap around his cock, eyes nearly crossed and intense, sweat forming on his forehead and running down his puffed cheeks. Shigeo was always so careful, so cautious with their contact. There was always a lingering fear in the shadow of his mind, a constant reminder of how he accidentally hurt Ritsu when they were young, against all of Ritsu’s promises of forgiveness. Ritsu saw his guilt as a sign of his love, felt wanted and protected to be loved by such devine monstrous, and would not hesitate to use it to his advantage. He was proud and at the same time ashamed, to be his brother’s biggest weakness and deepest regret. Ritsu was really a contemptible human being. Shigeo tried to take on more and choke on him and the younger felt intimately the spasm of his throat. He pulled back and cough a few times. Ritsu sat up with concern in his eyes just to be soothed by his brother’s smile of reassurance. Shigeo rested his head and hands on the younger brother’s hipbones, right next to his cock, all while smiling, a sight to behold. His older brother’s gentle voice filled the room previously only occupied by their moans and labored breaths. “I am not dreaming, am I, Ritsu? This is real. You are real. I kind of know it the moment we kissed but I did not want to break the suspense. Maybe I just want to indulge in some self-delusion a little bit longer, telling myself that maybe everything was just a dream and I don’t have to deal with the consequences. Shit, it felt so realistic. Even you taste different.’’ The brothers shared a knowing look. An unspoken confirmation. Ritsu stroked his brother’s hair as he confessed. “Nii-san, I was having dreams about you, and I knew you also had ones about me as well. It had been happening for a few months now, and I had reasons to believe all those nights we were sharing them together. I love you, and I want to be with you, and I also know you feel the same way, so please don’t break my heart and betray your own by running away. To hell with other people, fuck what they say, we have each other. They condemn us for our power, and now this, our feelings. What do they know? All they do is criticize us. We can’t spend our lives forever catering to their judgements. What do you say? Will you stand with me against the world? If you say no, nii-san, I will walk out of this room and forget tonight ever happens. All this is but a dream.” His voice was calmer than he expected, his state of mind the impeccable surface of the lake in a windless night, without a ripple of doubt. As he stayed completely still and looked up into the other boy’s eyes perhaps expectantly for his answer, Ritsu found himself completely willing to turn his back and walk out of this room at his brother’s command. Shigeo closed his eyes in resignation as he let out a long exasperated breath. “Ritsu always makes it hard for me, doesn’t he? I can’t forget tonight, can’t just forget what we have done simply because I want it that way. If this is what my life has amounted to, so be it. I feel like this is the biggest mistake I have ever made in my life so far, and believe me, ever since I was born I have made an uncountable amount of bad decisions, but I will give us a try, I think. Please take care of me from now on, Ritsu.” The expression on his big brother’s face was of tender adoration, and it melted Ritsu’s heart. They had been doing unspeakable things to each other the whole night, yet the mere gentle acknowledgement of their love uttered from Shigeo’s lips made his stomach flutter, body trembling slightly from the emotionality of the moment. He welcomed the unbearable happiness imbuing him with the lightness coming with freedom from the burden weighing him down all this time. He had been absolved. He was made holy again. If Ritsu were to shed tears right then those would not be of guilt, but from a strong sense of relief. “Please continue to take care of me as well, nii-san.” Shigeo seemed to share the same awareness of the gravity and the levitation of his decision, as he raised his hands and gently stroked Ritsu’s cheeks. Ritsu’s skin was hot against the coolness of his brother’s palms, and that discrepancy in temperature jolted him up from his stupor. Shigeo’s gaze, or maybe it was his hand, drew him in as their lips met. The kiss then felt legitimate, a declaration and confirmation of their love, with both sides willing to participate in the act of intimacy and fully conscious of what act they were committing. They tilted their head to deepen the kiss, their tongues joining the other and twisting together. The flush of Shigeo’s cheekbones was lovely, so was the shadow his eyelashes casting on those cheeks. Ritsu’s wandering hands sneak down to take and try to cover both of the cocks in his grasps, and the friction of their length meeting one another, sensitive nerves stimulated from the contact. He felt as if he had blacked out, every senses shut down to his surrounding as his whole universe shrunken dramatically and collapsed into the single small figure of the person below him and zoned into their point of contact where skins met skins. They continued their previously halted tango, bodies pushing in an upwards and downwards motion like rushed, frantic, desperate forces of nature. With one arm holding himself up, Ritsu ran the other hand up and down their lengths in the same movement and direction of their hips. Shigeo hands roamed all over the younger’s chest and neck, and settled down with wrapping them around his neck to focus on moving his hips to meet the other halfway. It was getting increasingly hard to stay focus as the pleasure was building up to the climax in a splendid crescendo. They were so close to the coda of their symphony, and it was destined to be a masterpiece, a final consummation of their suppressed emotions throughout all this time. “I’m so close, nii-san.” Ritsu groaned, voice raspy. He tried to keep his eyes open, the same eyes that were always threatening to close. He wanted to look at his brother now writhing beneath him, want to forever burn that image into his cornea so that even if he died from too much sensation at that moment, it would be okay since Shigeo was the last thing he saw and the image he would bring to his grave. “Oh, Ritsu, let’s c-come together.” It was more of a suggestion than a command, but a command nonetheless, and since had Ritsu ever been able to deny his big brother anything? Certainly not out of fear of his power, how foolishly he once thought it was be, but simply because of his weak spot, a perpetual fondness to please and spoil his dear Shigeo. The said brother was now also near his climax, his face all crunched as if was in pain of too much pleasure, mouth unable to form any telligible words but for the litany of the other Kageyama’s name: Ritsu, Ritsu, Ritsu. Each sound a desperate gasped that was the most beautiful music to his ear. If Ritsu had been paying any attention to himself, he would know that he had been doing the same thing, whispering his big brother’s name all over again like a prayer to the divine. Oh, brother dearest, let’s finish this desecration we have started, of the holy pillars of human morality! Never before had Ritsu felt so liberating, when all his muscle constricted as the spike of indescribable pleasure flood his system, as if it was a dam overflowed by blocks and blocks of rainwater. He felt his blood pounding in his head. His poor heart nearly burst out of the confine of his ribcages. The rumbling of his orgasm originated from his lower part, then swiftly spread out to his whole system. He saw white underneath his closed eyelids. They did come together in a perfect synchronization. That was how compatible their body and soul was. Came after the release was the sudden relaxation of Ritsu’s tensed muscles, and he almost slumped down on top of his brother if his reflex did not kick in and had him roll over to lay down next to Shigeo. His heart was still racing. Too affected by the exertion to move, they were both breathing in labor, with Shigeo turning towards the ceiling and Ritsu staring at the profile of the other boy’s face. “Wow.” Shigeo breathed out in shock and wonder, as if the realization of what he had done a moment before just managed to catch up with him. “Yes, that was amazing. So much better than those dreams.” Ritsu agreed as he willed his hand to tangled his fingers with Shigeo’s and the other made the effort to curl his fingers tighter as well. “So this is it, yes? We are official. We are a thing. Oh, I really did it with my brother, didn’t I? It was worth it, though.” They decided that Ritsu would stay at the older brother’s room even though it was a bit risky to be found in such situation tomorrow morning, but they were too tired to move anyway. It would not matter much since their parents did not have the habit of barging in their room without asking with him deliberately locking the door in prior, and Ritsu could always sneak back to his room early in the morning. For now, the only important thing was that they could sleep safe and sound in each other’s embrace. Maybe they would share the same dream that night. It was a full minute before Shigeo turned his head to face Ritsu and met him in the eyes to raise his question. “Our dreams had been linked together. Do you think it had something to do with our psychic powers? I have no idea I’m able to do that.” “It must be so. If there is any other possible scientific explanation for that, the top 1% student in Japan would have known. Nii-san, our powers, or yours for that matter, have never ceased to impress me with their multi-functionality and handiness.” Ritsu cooed jokingly, eyes twinkling, which earned him a smile from the older boy. “If there is a hell afterlife, I’m certainly going down there for this. Well, a lot of other awful things I did as well, but mostly this.” Shigeo chuckled as he gestured to their naked bodies cuddling together before pulling his blanket up to cover both of them. “If you ever had to go to hell, I will meet you there. We shall suffer together for eternity. I’m okay with that.” Chapter End Notes Hello guys! It was one hell of a ride haha, and I love to end my fic with a steamy sex scene. What do you think?
