Gotten hurt? By me? How do you think I feel?” Shouto raised his voice, so tired of this already. “What if I didn’t care about how you feel?!” Izuku blurted out before covering his mouth, paling. Shouto’s heart felt like lead. Before he could think, he spoke. “Leave.” “I- I didn’t mean-” “I said, leave.” Notes See the end of the work for notes ***** The Time We Met ***** Chapter Summary “Sit beside me.” “I can’t do that, prince!” Deku nearly yelped. “I’m not worthy enough—“ “I deem you worthy. Now you shall sit.”            In all sixteen years of Shouto’s life, he was most disgusted by the sight in front of him. “Who is this?” he asked in disdain to his personal servant. “And why is she here?”      Presented before him was a woman of brown hair and earthy brown eyes. Her clothing left nothing to the imagination, if it was even to be considered clothing. To Shouto, it is merely a bunch of transculent strips of fabric that barely covered anything.      “It is a high-tier prostitute for his highness.” the servant replied meekly, avoiding the prince’s cold gaze. The woman presented looked older than the prince himself, and had quite the ideal shape for a female, at least according to society’s standards.      “Why would I need a whore in my possession?” Shouto queried, crossing his arms. “I have better things to do than to fuck citizens I do not even know.” This said, the servant was in slight awe of the dual-hair colored prince. He still treated people with some form of respect, even if they were at their lowest form of their status.      The servant played with the end of her tunic as she she said, “His majesty, the pharoah, said that you may and should practice intercourse with the prostitute in order to be experienced in breeding when the time comes when you wed.” she finished, red in the face at those words. Shouto balled his fists and looked at his carpeted floor.      Then he exhaled. He must be calm, at least in front of others. “Tell my father that this person,” he gestured to the woman who now seemed uncomfortable standing there, “Is not suitable for me. I’m not willing to give my semen to just anyone. If he wishes for me to practice, then he should present a proper prostitute that can both satisfy and teach me.”      Nodding, the servant girl bowed her head and she went out of his chambers, along with the prostitute that seemed disappointed. Shouto raked a hand through his hair.‘How iritating’, he thought.        Every other day the pharaoah would send different kinds of women, and every other day Shouto refused them. He just didn’t think that they were at all interesting, in his opinion. Not even the bashful one of raven-black hair.      Shouto hoped that it would just end already as the next prostitute was presented to him. To be honest, he was stupefied when he saw her.      She had a flat chest, but made up for it with having a perfectly sculpted backside, though it was covered by her simple, yet revealing dress. She had a mop of soft-looking green curls and when she looked up, Shouto’s heart nearly stopped working. Her eyes. Her twinkling green eyes that showed such innonence, the prince wondered how she was supposed to be a prostitute. And her freckles were quite adorable. He liked her immediately.      Not rising from his bed, he beckoned the girl forward. She went to him, nervousness evident on her expression as she walked barefoot. He made eye contact with his servant and with a flick of a hand, told her, “Leave us.” And she did. Leaving the two alone.      “What is your name?” he asked, careful in his words and tone. He did not want to scare off such a rarity.      “Deku, daughter of Inko.” she replied without missing a beat. “I already know your name, prince Shouto Todoroki, heir of Pharoah Enji’s throne.” She didn’t dare sit down on his bed, though it was so tempting to.      Shouto felt as if he was being told a half-truth, but said nothing. “Sit beside me.”      “I can’t do that, prince!” Deku nearly yelped. “I’m not worthy enough—“       “I deem you worthy. Now you shall sit.”      Deku couldn’t argue with the prince since, well, he was the prince. Sitting down beside him, she surveyed the elaborately decorated room. “So much riches,” she commented.      “Do you wish they were yours?” Shouto asked, looking at a particularly noticeable ornament on his wall.      Deku shook her head twice. “If I had those riches, I would spread it evenly to the kingdom, so no one would have to suffer, your highness.” she added. “It would cause a riot, though, if example I were to give more to one person. There’s also the political side to it and stuff like that.”     ‘Interesting.’ Shouto shifted into a much more comfortable position. “For a whore, you are somewhat intelligent.”      “I... thank you, your highness.” Deku looked like she was about to say something else, yet since the ever possible threat of his life was right there, she kept quiet.      “Now, for the purpose of you being here. You’ll teach me how to have intercourse, apparently.” At that, Deku froze.      “Perhaps you would want to start the next dawn, or-“      “Is there a reason for stalling?” The heterochromatic eyed boy questioned. “We have an entire night.” Deku nodded slowly in acknowledgement to the fact.      “Y-You have to swear, p-please, your highness, that y-you won’t tell my secret to anyone.” The green-haired female begged. “If I am found out- I’m the only outlet for men, no one will take on my role-“      “I swear to not reveal your secret, whatever it may be.” the prince said. “Now, tell.”      “I- I-“ Deku was growing fearful, but he managed to say it. “I-I’m male.”      There wasn’t an outraged response from the other. Deku had expected his execution, or at least slaps, or punches. He was surprised when his prince’s response was just a simple ‘Oh’. The blue and brown eyed male looked at Deku. “Strip before me, now.” he ordered. Even though the other’s words were genuine, Shouto wanted to see. He has only ever read about of gay sex slaves in one of the rare scrolls that cover them.      Slowly, Izuku began to strip himself of clothing before the prince, making it a show. Gently pulling down the strap of his tunic, he was a being a complete tease to the other male. Once the strap was halfway down, Shouto had had enough. He forcefully pulled Izuku’s tunic, nearly tearing it, and he looked at Izuku’s skin, smooth as it can be. “There.” he said.      Izuku’s cock was already erect when it revealed itself to Shouto. Taking that as a good sign, he grabbed it with one hand and squeezed it, making the other yelp in surprise. He turned Izuku around. “I’ll stick my fingers in, if it’s alright. If you were my betrothed, then I would normally have to give my sperm in your flower, but as you’re male, this might suffice, right?”      “Y-Yeah.” Shouto added a finger inside Izuku with effort, and the receiver groaned.      Raising a brow, the taller male added another finger and proceeded to purposefully press and rub against the prostate, making Izuku moan loudly. He seemed to love that. “Ahh~ Nyahh~, S-Sho- your h-highness- ngahh~!” Izuku jolted upwards when Shouto leaned down and kissed one of his nipples.      “You may call me by my birth name, Izuku.” Shouto said in a calm voice. Shouto was doing well, and he was doing it all by instinct and stocked knowledge. Simply amazing, thought Izuku.      Shouto looked at the said male as he fingered him. “What’s next?”      “A-Ah... I can suck you.”      “Suck... me?”      Izuku nodded and his head went down, equal level to his highness’ crotch area. Once he raised the robe, he gulped in surprise. “That’s too big.” he blurted out. Shouto chuckled and took out his long fingers.      “That’s supposedly good, correct?”      “But-“ Izuku bit his lip. ‘You’ll wreck me!’ he thought. “I- I guess it’s a good thing.” He took Shouto halfway before going down more, carefully adjusting his gag relfex. For the first time, Shouto moaned, and Izuku was slightly taken aback. Shouto sounded amazing. Working with his mouth and with newfound vigor, the freckled male bobbed his head fast, making the prince release all kinds of moans.      He loved it.           “That was nice,” Shouto commented as his companion panted. “I see why I have to learn this. Perhaps father wasn’t such a bastard at offering this. Perhaps,” he added at the end.      “Ah, your ma-majesty is very kind to send me,” Izuku said, to which Shouto snorted to.      “Nice? Keep on believing, Izuku.” he said. Looking out his window, the sky was already dark.      The stars were shining. ***** The Secrets We’ll Keep ***** Chapter Summary "We once were nobodies. The Midoriyas, and the even Yagi clan were once nobodies. Have you forgotten your promise?" Katsuki's face looked stricken. Clenching his fists, he answered, "How could I forget that fucking Deku." “Katsuki...” "I know, I'll bring the damned flowers. Happy?" Chapter Notes So, um, yes, hi. It might be a litte confusing at first but the following chapters will explain it, promise.      Agh, I'm so sorry, I only got to rewriting 4002 words, this note not included. That's sad, you know. I was so tempted to write filler content, but nooo. That would be stupid. And a waste of both our times. I would have published a complete 9000 words three days ago, but I was stupid! It got deleted, twice. Lucky, I know. I've been so sleep deprived lately, so I'm trying to rest up. The next chapter, I will most likely write up a 7000-8000 word chapter, so look forward to it! And I will try to update every Sunday. Thank you for understanding, I'll see you next chapter.        Weeks pass. Every morning till afternoon Shouto would learn from his lessons, every afternoon would be his time for his past times, and from dusk until midnight Izuku would come to teach the ways of intercourse. They were mostly just reviews on whatever he's learned and their effectiveness. He found his morning lessons trivial compared to the time spent with the freckled man.      “So, prince—”      “Ah.”      “I mean, Shouto, we have some free time. What would you like to talk about?” Izuku asked, sitting on the edge of Shouto's bed.      “Well, let us talk about you,” the older male answered, resting on the head of his bed. “I only know your name, that you are male, and that your mother is Inko. Tell me more about the male that I keep practicing intercourse with.”      The greenhead fidgeted in his spot, a blush evident on his cheeks. “I'm not much, really...” he mumbled, nearly making the other male snort. “Hey, don't you dare!” he whined out when the prince opened his mouth to argue. “Don't contradict this.”      “And who says I can't?” Shouto queried, tilting his head to the side. “I am crown prince. I shall do as I please. Now, tell me who you are in detail.”      Izuku hung his head in defeat, nearly pouting. “I'm an only child,” he said, looking at the tips of his fingers. “When I was really young, I used to play with a few people, but soon enough their statuses rose and mine did not, leaving me to eat their dust. I don't know how to read or write—”      “You don't know how to what?” Shouto stared incredulously at the male before him. Nodding, Izuku looked away. “I figured as much, but in all honesty, with your analytical way of thinking, you could have passed for a scholar, status aside.”      “That's why I'm a prostitute, my prince.”      “My?” Shouto muttered in an undertone as his heart beat a little faster in his chest. Thankfully he was not heard.      “I- I meant Shouto!” Izuku nearly yelped out. His cheeks were pink, his freckles more evident. “I'm not really used to calling royalty by their birth names alone, so.”      “Then get used to it, Izuku.” was prince's reply as he stood up and walked to his window, the edges etched with hiegrolyphics. He stared at the kingdom that he could barely see under the moonlight.      “Do you... like to dance?” He asked this, tilting his head slightly to the other male's direction.      “Yes, I do. Why do you ask?”      “It is one of the things humans consider to be entertainment. It is not exactly my strength, but I am able to do such.” he said, his eyes still on the sight before him. “Izuku, before we got acquainted, were you happy with your family, or at least, your mother?” he asked with just a hint of longing in his voice.      “Why do you ask?” Izuku repeated the question, looking at the prince with curious eyes.      “I used to dance with her everyday when I was still a child.”      “Shouto, come here.” A snowy-haired female in elegant yet simple robes called out to a young, smiling boy.      “Why, mommy?” the child asked as he went to her. She took one of the hands of the small boy and held it in her own.      “I'll teach you how to dance, my dear.”      “Why are you telling me this?” Izuku asked as he bit his lip.      The prince shrugged and kept on looking at the nightscape. “I don't know. But I feel... I feel as if I could trust you.”      “You don't know that,” the freckled man argued, gripping the prince's sheets.      “You're right. I don't know.” Shouto said as he turned. Izuku had never seen such a wistful expression on the other man's face. “But feeling is different from knowing.”      “I guess.”      Shouto turned his back once more and continued to stare at the scenery. “You may leave,” he said.      Standing, the green-haired male looked at Shouto with saddened eyes, bowed, and left the room quietly, leaving the prince to drown in his own thoughts.   -        The next day, Shouto opted to teach the freckled man how to read. Surely he would be thankful. Not every low-tier got to do such. Of course, there were scholars who rose from bottom to top, but Izuku was not a scholar. Besides, it would not yield him anything but knowledge. Then again, knowledge is power.      It can save and harm millions.      Sighing, Shouto walked around the spacious courtyard in his yet again, elaborate robes. He was to meet with another noble maiden to reject politely once more. When Shouto is pharoah, he planned to tell his father that he wasn't interested in any of the female gender.     He sat down on the nearest marble bench and ran his fingers through the surface of it. Cold and smooth, were his first observations. He didn't want to be here. He just wanted to chat with his green-haired friend, and teach him to read. That was all.      Besides, he hasn't gained an interest in anyone in years, not after his infatuation with the crown prince Katsuki Bakugo when he was still in his early adolescence. He's changed, and so has Katsuki. He's sure of it.      "Er, are you prince Shouto?" a soft but firm voice asked. The prince looked at the source of rhe voice; a woman in silken robes. Her hair was black and shiny, and she looked like a goddess. Yet Shouto was not impressed.      "I believe so," he replied boredly. "Unless you know someone else?"      "Ah, I'm afraid not." This maiden looked nervous for some reason, unlike the other eager women who was presented to him.     "So, is your reason for being here trying to be my mate? If so, then-"      "I do not want to be rude, your highness, but I was only forced here."      Shouto quirked a brow. This was new. "Elaborate," he told. Never had he felt relief in hearing those words from a woman's lips, and yet he felt a little odd. Was he not of her standards, then?      "I... I have a lover, you see." The woman said hesitantly, and immediately Shouto thought of ways he could use this information to his advantage. She would be rewarded by his silence, of course.      "This is perfect," Shouto said. "What is your name?"      "Momo of the Yaoyazaro household, your highness." she replied, her expression determined and scared at the same time. This was good.      Standing, the prince cleared his throat. He looked more intimidating than when he was sitting. "Assuming your words are of truth, we can help each other." he said, eyeing the woman in front of him. She gulped.      "It's for me and her, so anything would-"      "Did I hear correctly? Her?" Shouto queried. "Interesting. Tell me more about this female lover you have as we take a stroll, Lady Yaoyazaro. I swear to not reveal your secret." the male added before Yaoyazaro could say anything else.      "Well... her hair is as dark as the sky of the night without its moon, her eyes are quite entrancing, and- ah! I- I must be boring you!" The woman clutched her robe as she blushed in embarrassment. Shouto could only chuckle.      "She sounds wonderful," he complimented. "Please, continue."   -        Before Lady Momo Yaoyazaro departed, they had settled things between themselves. One, that they would pretend to agree to Shouto's courting to Momo, to prevent arousing any suspicion that they were seeing someone else in Momo's case, or in Shouto's, not wanting to mate with women at all. Second, once they assume the role of pharoah and queen, they will attempt to open the eyes of the population about the constrictions of gender. Same-sex relationships are frowned at by society, but regardless of that, they still existed. Shouto planned to make the people see that same-sex relationships were not as bad as it is told to be.      In fact, it freed him from loving only one gender. But that aside. Lastly, it is absolutely forbidden to mention this to anyone, especially if it's Enji Todoroki, with the alias of Endeavor. How he got that title, Shouto had no idea. It was stupid.      It was nearly sunset. Shouto walked to the great library to get a manuscript that Izuku could practice the letters with, as well as a quill, and inkwell and blank parchament scrolls. The green-eyes man wouldn't refuse, he can't refuse. Shouto would be greatly embarrassed if he did, and he didn't want that, not in the slightest. Not after the effort he had gone through.      Biting his lip, he headed back to his chambers to organize the items in his hands. He forgot an oil lamp to bring with him. Ah, well. He'll have to get one, then.      Or, he could just order the nearest servant to fetch one for him. That seemed like a better, faster option, in his opinion.      The closest servant was a woman of ginger hair. As he approached her, she immediately bowed and said, "Your highness, let me carry your scrolls! Surely you are tired carrying-" She got cut off by an eye roll and a dismissive wave of the hand.       "Just get me an oil lamp, please. Place it on the desk on my chambers," he requested and continued to walk the short route to his room. Stuttering, the woman left to get Shouto what he needed.      Ah, it felt great to be able to order around people like that.      Once in his room, Shouto dumped the items- well, not dumped, the inkwell would have been broken- on his desk and arranged them in a neat orderly fashion. He went to his bed and laid down on one of the many feather pillows he had. He mulled over the conversation he had with Yaoyazaro just hours before.     "Are you sure you aren't interested in anyone, Todoroki?" Yaoyazaro asked as they sat on a wooden bench. "Surely someone would have caught your interest at some point."      "Long ago, someone did manage to catch it," Shouto replied blandly. Yaoyazaro was mildly impressed by whoever it was. She had known Shouto for such a short period of time, yet she already knew a lot about then blue-and-grey- eyed male. There was still a thin veil of mystery around him, of course, but that was alright.      "Who was it?"      "Bakugo Katsuki. I'm sure you've at least heard of him?" Shouto quirked a brow. The princess was a bit surprised at that. A calm and collected prince having an interest at someone that was hotheaded amd impatient, not to mention, can be unruly at times? Truly, it was shocking.       "When did you have an interest?" Momo asked. Shouto clacked his tongue.      "Probably the Aprilis that I was thirteen years of age until Augustus," he muttered. "It was only an infatuation, nothing more." he bit his lip. 'Stupid adolescence.' he thought to himself.      "It's quite alright..." the other royal said. "You were young. It's normal." Instead with a sad nod, shr received a glare.      "I'm barely of age." he stated bluntly. "Don't talk as if I'm old yet, Lady Yaoyazaro."      Said woman giggled lightly. "Of course."   -        Setting everything else aside, he began to think of when the green-haired male was going to come. Impatient, he paced around his room, growing irritated by the passing second. Was he ill? Was he taken by thieves, or slave merchants? Was he dead?      Relief spread through Shouto's veins when he finally saw that mess of green hair enter his chamber. Raising a brow, he noted Izuku's red cheeks and heaving chest.      "I'm so sorry for not being punctual!" Izuku nearly cried out. He dropped to his knees, and Shouto had to roll his eyes.      "Stand up," he ordered, a tad irate. "Why were you tardy?"      "I had a small incident back home," the freckled man admitted, looking down. Shouto furrowed his brows.      "Well, it's alright. Come here," Shouto gestured as he went to sit down on the elegant piece of furniture. Shakily, Izuku went to sit down at the stool beside it.      "What's all this?" the lower-class blurted out suddenly. Honestly, that mouth of his is going to get him executed someday. But... that is the same mouth Shouto fucked and abuse to his desire, so he figured he'll let it slide.      "Are you paid for your services with me, prostitute?" Shouto asked, emphasizing the last word. He doesn't really want to say that Izuku Midoriya is one, but he's trying to make a point.      Though he already knew the answer.      "I- I- Your presence is a reward by itself, Shouto!" said Izuku as he averted his gaze.      "Don't lie. Lying is for the weak," the prince reprimanded. "We both know that my presence is less than pleasant. As your reward I will not only give you the proper amount of gold that you rightfully deserve, I will also teach you how to read and write."      "...what?!"      Shouto merely nods and hands Izuku a quill quickly so the latter would not be able to protest. "Besides, I want to do this."     "Why would you, Shouto?"      "I believe that you can be my trustworthy friend, not just some prostitute or mentor." Shouto took out his own quill. "Now hurry. I will teach you the alphabet."       "I'll- I'll work hard!" Izuku beamed. He had never gotten an opportunity to learn this, much less from the prince himself. Speaking of the prince... friend?! Friend! Right, he called Izuku his friend! That was amazing, considering the prince's nature.      Izuku, though made mistakes throughout the night, did not lose his smile.   -        In the middle of the night, Izuku had fallen asleep. It was no surprise; his mental energy was most likely spent up during their lesson. Shouto, who was still awake, let the ink dry. He looked at Izuku and wondered how many of his people were uneducated, not just necessarily in this type of education. After all, there was different types of intelligence. That, Shouto was aware of.      But were they cultivating that intelligence into something more? Shouto didn't know. He sighed. He wanted to improve his soon-to-be kingdom so much.      The prince picked up Izuku carefully, as to not wake him, cradling the shorter male in his arms as he went to the bed and laid him there. Shouto caressed Izuku's cheek. "You really are something else." he muttered before standing and covering the sleeping form of Izuku with a fleece blanket. Standing, he went out for a stroll at the garden.      Yawning, he felt happy. He felt like he was actually doing something for once, instead of just standing there and looking like a royal priss. He wanted to do more, but for now, he'll do what he can.      He's determined that way.      "Shouto." a voice called.      The said man turned his head so quickly you would have thought he was getting caught stealing offerings from a temple. When he saw the owner of the voice, he sighed in relief.      "Sister Fuyumi, what are you doing here?" The question passed through his chapped lips. She chuckled.      "I could ask you the same thing," she replied. "I was going to enjoy the ambiance of one of our many moonlit gardens."     "I was only thinking of some things," muttered the younger unintelligibly.      "You constantly think of things," Fuyumi commented. "Perhaps it's a person you think of?" She smiled as Shouto shook his head. "I was merely teasing you, brother." she said as she brushed a strand of hair from her face.      "I know. I'll leave you to your activity, sister. Good night," he added as he walked back to his chambers.      As he dressd into his night clothes he couldn't help but smile. Tomorrow the sun will rise again, and tomorrow he will teach Izuku.      His newly proclaimed friend.   -        Izuku woke up to the sunlight hitting his eyes. Sitting up, he realized that he wasn't in his bed, but rather, in Shouto's. He must have fell asleep from last night's activities. He blushed, knowing that Shouto must have carried him. He always carries Izuku during sex, how was this any different?      Unfortunately, he didn't know. Shouto was sleeping- good gods, he looked angelic- and his eyelashes. They looked so thick and beautiful that Izuku just wanted to touch them, not that he did.      His eyes flitted to the table where practice scrolls with his writing laid. He surveyed the rest of the royal prince's room. It was fairly elaborate, fit for the standards of a prince.      Izuku laid back down, his face level with the prince's. 'He's breathtaking...' he thought as his heartbeat grew faster than its normal pace. What was this feeling? He did not know, nor did he want to know.      Instead, he continued to stare at the sleeping man's features until they're etched into his mind. He never got tired of staring, but after a while his eyelids started to droop again and he closed his eyes.       An hour passed and Shouto opened his eyes. Smiling softly, he rose from his bed and stretched his arms, his robe sliding down from his shoulder but he paid it no mind.      "Nnh..." came a small groan from Izuku's lips. Raising a brow, Shouto wondered what was going on in the man's dream.      He adjusted the sleeve of his robe and sat back up again. He was about to leave the bed when he heard Izuku moan out his name.      A bit startled, Shouto looked at the other. Izuku's face was contorted to one that felt pleasure. Interesting.      Shouto got out of bed and opened his door, where a servant avaited him.      "Your schedule for today, your highness," he bowed as he handed the scroll to the yawning prince.      "Thank you," he replied as he broke the seal and unrolled the scroll. 'Today's... not too bad, actually. I'll have time to teach Izuku more later.'      "I am to escort you..." the male servant said, his head down. At this, Shouto sighed.      "Look up. I have no trouble getting to the dining hall on my own." he said, shrugging. "Get some rest; you look like you haven't slept the night." The servant murmured his gratitude and scampered off.      Shouto walked to the dining hall, wanting to get the day over with already.      When he entered the hall, he was greeted by his sister, who was already sitting. His two brothers were also seated. "Good morning," he greeted back blandly as he sat on his own spot. A servant came with a bowl of water for Shouto to wash his hands in, and another to dry them. He muttered his thanks.      "So, Shouto," spoke his father, ( though his voice sounded like it was booming ), "Have you finally met the most recent woman I sent you?" He said with an impatient tone that made Shouto want to punch him. Women are not to be objectified in his eyes, not as long as he was alive. Those words his father said reminded him of his mother.      His dead mother, that is. Shouto clenched his fists and took a deep breath before answering.      "We're well acquainted," he replied smoothly, causing reactions from the table.      "Finally," Enji clacked his tongue. "Make sure you have an heir."      "Father! He's only sixteen years of age! Let him focus on running the kingdom first, at least!" One of Shouto's brothers spoke.      "I agree," the other brother said, adjusting his tunic. He had just come back from Thebes of Greece and did not want to give a shit about his father's antics. "It's harder to rule a kingdom, so let him master that first."      Shouto had to hide the grin on his face. He loved it when his brothers lecture his father. It put a smile in Shouto's face and a scowl on Enji's.      "I know that, you brats." Enji spat out as he continues to eat. Satisfied, they finished their meals in peace.   -        Katsuki was a very temperamental man. Temperamental, but powerful. Always pushing himself to the limit, he always was in his top form.      Despite all that, he was still kind, though it isn't obvious to the unfamiliar eye. Ejirou Kirishima was a living example. Had Katsuki not stepped in, Ejirou would have had his head on a platter.      Kirishima, now a soldier, could still remember that scene that changed the fate of his life.      And of course, it was prince Bakugo he thanked daily in his mind.      Said prince was letting off steam by sword fighting with his father.      "These bones aren't weak yet, Katsuki, so give me all you have!" Mitsuha laughed heartily as he dodged his opponent's sword.      "Yeah, yeah, I'm just warmin' up!" Katsuki yelled as he furiously thrust his sword towards his father.      It went on like this for half an hour before both started to tire. Mitsuha dropped his sword in defeat. Katsuki grinned in his victory.      "Well, you're certainly getting better, son," Mitsuha panted as he was offered a goblet of water by a nearby servant. He took it, inspected the liquid for anything suspicious, then drank.      The younger Bakugo sat on the floor, sweating as well. "No shit," he grunted out. "I'm going to be the best, after all."      "Don't be too cocky now, Katsuki." his father warned. "You haven't met everyone in the world that can wield a sword."      Katsuki rolled his eyes. "I'll be better than those nobodies," he said as he wiped the sweat off his brow.      "Ah- Ah, young man," Mitsuha picked up and sheathed his sword. "We once were nobodies. Happy?" The red-eyed male snapped. When Mitsuha looked at his son, he was about to chide him for his behaviour, but when he saw the younger's expression, he softened.      Right then, Katsuki wanted nothing more to disappear. It would only be a short visit. It would still shake him, though.   -        Katsuki dressed himself properly before getting his gifts to give. Holding the flowers in one hand, he mounted his horse and rode.      He wondered how his life got so messed up. He was already an ideal prince, with looks and skill to match, exclude his personality, there wasn't really anything to stop his from getting a wife. But he refused, every time. His answer to the question "Why?" would be things like how he could rule a kingdom just fine on his own, that kind of answer. To prove it, he even strived to become better, and better he did.      Once the sun dipped down and the moon began to show, Katsuki arrived. There were no people there except for him. He was only there to pay his respects, after all. He got off his horse and let it graze nearby. His horse would never leave unless it was told, so it was no worry.      At that same moment, the blonde regretted not bringing a torch, or something. He wanted light. It felt so dark, with only the moon offering it's light, Katsuki felt trapped for some reason.      Sighing, the prince laid the white flowers on top of a stone, and he sat down. Flickers of light began to swarm the area. Fireflies. It would have been a beautiful sight, had the human not been crying.      "Oi, Deku... fuck you. Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you." Katsuki growled as he gritted his teeth. "Why did you always fucking pity me? Things would be so much easier if you just... if you just didn't...!" he yelled as he pulled his hair in frustration.      "If you just didn't fucking die on me!" he wiped his eyes. There wasn't a reply; there will never be a reply.      Because the dead don't talk back. End Notes Hey! So this is my first fanfiction here on Archive of Our Own, I hope you like this story, honestly. I tried making the characters as accurate as possible without harming the nature of the AU. Of course, I’m still struggling with the other characters, like Midoriya for example. He is hard to write! He isn’t just some submissive, sweet, subtle guy! Well, that’s enough of my rambling for now. Hope you guys enjoy the book! Please drop_by_the_archive_and_comment to let the author know if you enjoyed their work!
