Notes this will have short chapters but it should be updated quicker than my other stories have. <3 ***** Chapter 1 ***** There had been way too many beers passed, liquors mixed with other even stronger liquors. Too many persistent people, “drink this”, “here try this drink I made.” And it’s not like Philip has the strongest willpower. He’s all about free drinks and having a good time. Just as long as that good time doesn’t mean waking up to an unknown alpha he’d met probably just hours before. He has been in some risky situations being a New York City boy and all, but this takes the cake. He inhales through his nose, trying to calm himself. fuck fuck fuck The alpha lying halfway on him smells like soap and vodka, and Philip’s feels sort of soothed from the scent. Or maybe it’s just the weird nerves in his belly and the hangover playing tricks on him. Philip doesn’t find it in himself to think about it, more just filled with a jittery regret feeling. He winces as he shifts his hips, sliding out from under the blonde alpha on top of him. His belly’s oddly fluttery and thighs and ass are sore. Same with his neck. He touches it tentatively, furrowing his brows when his nails graze the bite mark there. Ouch, that’ll leave a scar for sure. Philip sits up, flicking his eyes to the alpha who’s dead asleep. He’s cute. Definitely a guy Philip would be quick to spread his legs for even if he had been sober. He’s serenely handsome, strong dark brows. Nose straight and curved upwards, with pink lips pursed above a sharp jaw. Philip gulps unknowingly watching the blonde’s adam’s apple bulb when he swallows. Shit, they had sex and didn’t really recall, well, any of it. Philip quietly taps through the alpha’s phone, wanting a name. Anything to make him remember something from the evening. He finds it by clicking through the alpha’s messages, Lukas. Lukas Waldenbeck. Not one thing comes to mind from that name. Philip sighs, and redresses. He tiptoes out the room on weak legs, making sure to be quiet. - Philip doesn’t realize till he’s showering that Lukas came inside him. It’s super messy and has Philip flushing with anxiety. For one, he doesn’t know how many people Lukas has been with. Two, Philip could get pregnant. He isn’t on birth control and his heat cycle was just recently. So he’s still extra fertile. “Fuck” Philip whispers, thudding his head against the cool shower tiles. - Philip wakes up the next morning feeling weird. Like he knows something is where is shouldn’t be. Where it doesn’t belong. Something’s inside him. There’s no telltale sign or anything, but he just knows. He eats breakfast with his eyes glued on the mahogany of the table instead of Gabe or Helen’s curious eyes. He sits in class with his foot tapping the flooring, impatient for something he isn’t even aware of. Like he’s waiting for a sign, anything, a written note from the depths of universe to confirm his outrageous theory. - He feels like he might’ve jinxed himself, him knowing ahead before he even should’ve. Philip wakes up sweaty and nauseous, ready to puke the second he makes any movement. His stomach turns as he rolls off the bed. Philip races for the bathroom, swinging it closed with a thud as he retches his guts out into the bowl. The word pregnant repeats itself in his brain for a good five minutes, and he kind of wants to find Lukas and fight him for doing this to him. How is it fair that Lukas can fuck Philip’s life up in one night? It isn’t fair at all he thinks glumly. Philip’s the one with a baby now beginning to grow inside him. He’s the one that’ll have to deal with the consequences, aborting or birthing. Both sound equally awful. It’s only been roughly ten minutes since he’s known about the other life starting in his body, yet he feels awfully protective. He doesn’t want some doctors with their metal equipment ripping out his baby. Nor does he want to go through the awful pain of birthing a baby out either. Fuck - It’s been a month. He’s still full of undecided clashing thoughts. Do I want this? Could I do this? Should he tell the baby’s daddy? He doesn’t know, and it just frustrates him more. His body’s still mostly the same besides his nipples feeling slightly sore, and the annoying vomiting sessions. He continues to play everything off as normal to Helen and Gabe, even though Helen’s getting wary of his rapid sicknesses. ***** Chapter 2 ***** The second month ticks prettily on a full moon, Philip’s belly is still flat. But he feels like he’s more hormonal. He’s been more snappy with Helen, and cried a lot about his feelings to Gabe. They still don’t know the reasoning behind it, but Philip still catches the odd looks they send each other. Some girl from English class brings her six month old baby to show and tell and Philip nearly breaks down in tears. He feels overwhelmed the second he sees the soft little baby, wrapped up in her arms. The baby blinks at Philip and he can literally hear his own heart pounding in his ears. It’s like reality hit him in the face. A baby will be alive because of him, breathing, screaming, living. It excites him and makes him a nervous wreck all at the same time. He waits outside class for her, Jasmine, he vaguely remembers her mentioning her name. She walks out with her baby cradled in her arms, Philip gently grabs her arm and hisses under his breathe “Jasmine.” She raises her eyebrows in surprise of him, and looks him up and down like she isn’t certain of his name “Philip?” “Yes” he nods, flicking his eyes around the hall for any stragglers, or listeners. Jasmine shifts her baby higher into the crook of her arm, making the sleeping baby gurgle slightly. “Well?” she questions, waiting confusedly. “Is it hard?” he sputters, gesturing to her baby boy. Her face softens at the question. She smiles and bounces the baby lightly, whispering “yes, but it is completely worth it. I don’t know what I’d do without Jeramiah.” Philip flushes, feeling relieved about her good hearted answer. It gives him loads more confidence too. He can do this. He nods, she raises her brow. “You’re pregnant aren’t you?” Jasmine states, like it is clear. Philip feels nausea wash over him, thickly laced with anxiety. “What? I’m n- not” he defends uselessly. She gives him a disappointed look and he gives in with a hushed breathe “please just don’t tell anyone?” She smiles, “of course not, how many months are you?” Philip reddens thinking about it, “I’m only two.” Jasmine grins, and nudges his shoulder playfully. “Wow, you have a longway to go.” She notices the time on the clock “Shit, I gotta get to class. Good luck Philip!” She whistles as she takes off, striding  down the hall quickly. - On month three his belly starts to swell, just the slightest roundness starting to take to his belly. It’s very vague. But it has Philip touching it all the time, marveling it. He has only gained four pounds which is hardly noticeable. Helen’s been too busy with work to notice his rapid shopping sprees. He is super excited for his baby and wants all the things he can get for the teeny angel. He’s already bought six onesies, and a bouncy chair. All thanks to Gabe’s wallet, (Philip told him he needed money for clothes himself.) Thankfully Philip’s bedroom closet is large enough to store everything. Philip also has a new obsession with ice cream, natural vanilla being his favorite. He’ll eat it when he’s hormonal, but mostly just when he’s hungry. Which is starting to be really often. ***** Chapter 3 ***** Month four comes seemingly quicker than the third. Philip’s realized two things, and the first being Hershey bars are a hundred percent better when you’re knocked up and craving. The second being that he is crazily protective of his belly. He makes a quick plan up in his head before even entering the hall of his school. He now knows where to avoid, who to avoid. He watches swinging doors, and holds the railing when he descends the stairs. Philip ducks away from jocks and just known bullies, anyone who might put their hands on him and risk hurting his baby. He couldn’t have that. Philip is head over heels in love with the the second heartbeat in his tummy. - Month Five Philip gets approached by the alpha that caused all this mess. He’s walking the school’s soccer field when a group of alphas approach him. They’re players of Red Hook’s football team, and a tall blond one stands out from the bunch. Great, Philip’s baby daddy is a fucking jock. Philip feels an internal pull to him, but doesn’t move from where he’s standing. The alpha takes the initiative, jogging over to him in big strides. Just as Philip gulps and turns away, a hand comes to caresse his arm. “Excuse me?” Philip says, attempting to fake confidence but failing tragically when the taller, sturdier alpha just squints down at him. The alpha does a quick once over back at his group of waiting, leering alphas. His grip tightening on Philip’s arm in a more rough way, like he’s trying to prove a point to his friends. In a quick, hurried whisper, the alpha speaks gravelly but soft, somehow. “You’re Philip right?” Philip looks up at the sky, sighing and rolling his eyes before his gaze casts back into the alpha’s blues. “Yeah I’m Philip. Alright?” he says sarcastically. He’d be much cooler with skipping the small talk. He knows the alpha is interested in much more invasive questions. The alpha sighs, looking away for seconds. It makes Philip notice something about the alpha. The look in his eyes is undeterminable, almost disappointment. “Listen-“ he starts, but cautiously lowers his voice to only a level Philip could hear him. “Listen, I’m sorry. I should’ve texted.” Philip nearly sputters, and the alpha wrings a nervous hand through his own hair, scratching at the nape of his neck at some nonexistent itch. “What?” The alpha sighs exasperatedly and crosses his arms like Philip’s being annoyingly ridiculous “I’m trying to apologize here.” “How’d you get my number?” Philip squints. Lukas, the alpha, ruffles his own hair annoyedly, huffing audibly under his breathe. “Stop playing stupid, you gave me it” the alpha says, furrowing his brows. Philip shakes his head, and pulls his arm free from the awkward grip Lukas had on it. “No, I don’t remember doing any of that.” “You did.” “Maybe, I don’t know. I was drunk.” “But you remember-“ “No” Philip says, cutting him off. The alpha falls silent, looking at him wide eyed in disbelief. “What?” “I don’t” Philip shrugs, feeling his cheeks flush as his eyes downcast as he fiddles with a nonexistent piece of lint on the hem of his shirt. Lukas coughs awkwardly. When Philip looks back up the alpha is turning away, face all flushed red. Philip’s heart beat thuds a little faster, he sighs.
