Words: 9453 ****** Last Breath ****** by SharpAttack Summary Trisha has a bucketlist. The goal of it all is to be known. Save a few villagers, loot some temples. Fight off hordes. One fuck up leads her to a place she wants to stay. It messes up her routine and her gut keeps telling her to go. Maybe she can be known and stay? They are building a town.. (Slow start. Hopefully a lot of sex and plot!) Notes So, first original work. I figured it be more fun to not stress about writing a original story if i put it here. Because god is it stressful for me sometimes. No sexual content really in this chapter, just a nude scene. I'm searching for criticism and support?? It be nice to hear from you guys if you're for it or not. See the end of the work for more notes ***** People cry of being too happy too. ***** Trisha considered herself a well traveled, adaptable person. She's been running since she was nine so it's no surprise. She's taken on mobs of large caliber. But, as she lies face down on a uncomfortable patch of gravel and dirt. Trisha wonders how this had happened. Running from a pair of thieves, she ran up a hill, expecting to be able to jump to a tree. But it didn't work out well. Trisha groans as she tries to reach her bag, so she can pull out a healing potion. A foot came down roughly on her hand, making her shout in surprised pain. "Nice job kid! Would've been easier if you just gave up from the start." A stout woman said, grey mixing into her blond hair. Scares scattered across her face, even her lips have white scares. As Trisha tries to send back a witty response, her hand gets ground into the gravel, a low growl escapes her. "Horace, get her shit!" She snaps towards the other thief, who comes to attention at the shout. "Of course Jessie!" He slaps his feet against the ground with all the grace of a stumbling newborn foal. "You must be some shitty fucking thieves to take from a teenager." Trisha snaps, trying to reach for her sword with one hand. But a swift kick to her side, delivered by the man ends her attempt. It flips her onto her back. Trisha groans from the harsh landing, her side throbbing making her shut her eyes. Someone rips the diamond sword away from the leather binding it to her hip. Her leather satchel ripped off of her, the leather actually ripped. "Ho man, Jessie! We hit big time. Healing potions galore, as well as food and winter clothes." Horace says with his whiny voice. Jessie hums as she waves the finely crafted sword. "Fancy sword kid. But I always thought diamond was a waste for a sword. Should be a necklace or something pretty." Jessie holds it over her shoulder, looking towards Horace. "Lets go fatso!" She shouts. Beginning to storm off into the woods. Mr. Slap foot right behind her. Trisha stares off at where they were going, she turns onto her front; quietly grunting softly. "Fucking hell." Trisha weezes out. Pain flairing through her chest. Using her unharmed hand, the traveler tries to push herself up. Trisha gets to her knees, but the world is spinning. She doesn't spend much time up as right as she was, Trisha hits the ground the pain flairs up and then chills some. Dulling to a painful throb. Her hand was numb now, but bloody from what she saw. She simply closes her eyes. "Well, not my first way to die. I never even fought a dragon. How saddening." Trisha mumbles, before closing her eyes and allowing herself to drift into the blackness as pitch as an Endermen's skin. ----- "Damn, Vince caught a really interesting scent!" Cole shouts, chasing after the grey wolf, his two cats Anne and Artie right on his tail. Sharron was probably only slightly lagging. He knew as soon as he stopped that she'd appear upset at his sudden running. Vince howled as he ran through some bushes, the sound made Cole super excited. Vince only chases after things that are amazing. He found a spider jockey once, swam out to a water temple. Chased after a wither that escaped through the portal to the world. It was amazing what he found. When he pushed back the wooded brush his grin disappeared. Vince was sat next to a crumpled up body. From how Vince was sitting, all he saw was a bloody hand. "Oh shit." Cole says, frozen in place for a few seconds till he shouts. "Sharron! Hurry up!" He turns around to see Sharron, her wispy orange red hair easy to spot against all the foliage. When she heard him yell she runs over. Anne and Artie walked toward Vince and the body. Cole hoped to god that Vince didn't find a dead body. ----- Trisha opened her eyes to a room that was blindingly white, it was the first thing she noticed. Second was the pain, she groaned. "Death sucks." She mumbles out, throat extremely dry which then burns from her speaking. Her tongue was fat and heavy, feeling like a foreign object then something she's had since birth. A light laugh makes her pause all movements, it was soft. "You're not dead, but sadly life sucks as well." Trisha blinks a few times, to get her eyes to get use to the light, once she is. The traveler sees a woman who has a class of water with a straw in it. Which Trisha greedly stares at. The woman snorts. "Names Sharron." She says. Reaching an arm out slightly. "I'm going to lift you're head up so you can drink. Kay?" "Kay." Is all she says as Sharron does as she said. Lifting her up and putting the straw near her mouth. It takes a few moments of sucking till the straw made the telltale sign of no contents; which caused Trisha to whine. Sharron chuckles and gently lays her head back down. "You've been out for a few days kid." She says, putting the cup down on a bedside table. Now that Trisha can see, she curiously looks around. Everything was made out of marble and a lot of marble made up the place. Clean white, filled with a bunch of beds and side tables. "Sharron right?" Trisha asked, looking back over at her, the woman was now sat down in a chair. Her wispy orange red hair bobbed with the node of her head, she was older. Probably somewhere in her thirties. Glasses rest on her face, covering green eyes. Sharron was a pale woman with a strong jawline, a button nose and small lips. Trisha stares at her for a few minutes longer before speaking again. "Trisha, since you found me. Let me worn you that some thieves ganged up on me with TNT." She says matter of factly, continuing to stare at the woman that probably saved her. She looked strong enough to do so. Wide shoulders and strong arms by what Trisha could see. "Duly noted." Sharron says with a nod, looking out the window above Trisha's head with a quick nod; her focus is back on the woman in the bed. "How much was stolen?" "Well, winter clothes, food, healing potions and a diamond sword." Trisha sighs, but it turns into a yawn as she grows tired again. "Diamond sword? A rare item." Sharron says, Trisha nods closing her eyes. "How old are you hun?" The redhead asks softly. "Sixteen, seventeen in three weeks." Trisha stated in a tired mumble. Sharron sighs softly. Trisha hears her grumble softly. "Kids leave home way too early." Then the traveller was back into the dark pitch that held her captive well she was being rescued. Sharron leaves it at that, turning around to see curious faces all standing in the doorway. With a shake of her head, they all begin to go about their own things, all but a tall man who walks in. "Passed out again?" He says in a sleepy voices, hands shoved into his pockets. He had tired looking blue eyes, shaggy black hair and thick stubble along his jaw and upper lip. He was pale with dark blue warrior markings along his hands and up his arms. Sharron nods. "Yeah, which is good. She should have been in unimaginable pain, I'm surprised she didn't shout out." The redhead looks back at her patient. Her clothes had been removed, but a white sheet that had wholes in it for her arms had her covered. A pale blue blanket that covered her feet and hips. One hand covered in white gaze, a small spots of blood having seeped through on some spots. Sharron's look was worried, her thick eyebrows furrowing in thought. "She'll be fine Sharry." He lays a hand on her shoulder, gently squeezing it. Sharron huffed lightly at the hated nickname, putting a calloused hand on his. "I hope so Grant. She's really young..." "Seventeen right?" Grant says, putting his head on Sharron's. Chin probably hurting slightly. "We might be getting old. If we think that's old." He states, making his friend huff. "I mean, come on. We were on our own around that age." "We had to be, we were forced to be." Sharron says quietly. Brushing away chestnut hair away from the young freckled face. "Who says she wasn't forced to though? You know how most patches of civilization are. Forcing the excess to leave the safety, using the excited minds of youth. Telling them tales of amazing people that defeated dragons or found great riches. Playing up expectations of adventure, but then when night happens. Harsh reality hits." Grant speaks quietly, but his bitter tone echos against the white marble walls. Sharron squeezes his hand. Silence ensues. ----- When Trisha wakes up, it's with a need for the restroom. She whines slightly as the dull throb of her body registered. But her bladder was calling, she uses both arms to push up but nearly shouts in pain as she puts weight and pressure on her right hand. Her eyes tear up slightly, but she just takes a sharp intake. using her left hand as she examines the slightly bloody gaze around her arm. Trisha once sat up, looks around the room again. Noting where the exit is, her target is sighted when she looked the opposite way. Eying the open door, with a carved marble toilet. She throws the blanket off, noting the sheet covering her bodies. Trisha frowns as she pries the shit away from her neck and sighs as she sees she's naked under it. For now, she takes it off. Figuring that if anything it be the woman that talked to her earlier. Trisha also thought she could totally make it to the bathroom and back before that. But as she slowly moves so her feet touch the ground, that could be an improbability. But Trisha still had high hopes as she stood. Her legs shake from the weight suddenly added to them, but she steels herself and begins moving towards the bathroom slowly. When she finally makes it to the wall, she's covered in sweat and is panting. Pain shooting up and down through her chest. But she's made it this far, she grits her teeth and makes it to the bathroom. Shutting the door quietly, the only sound being a muted click. The room had a tube, a toilet with a metal bars around it and a mirror. Which was only a quick noted fact as she uses the toilet. Sighing happily once sat down. Trisha does her business quietly. Once done, she uses the metal bars to pull herself up, whimpering as she accidently uses her right hand again. Once up she takes more note of the mirror. "Gods, I look like shit." Trisha groans. Her face was way paler then it should be. Body covered in sweat. Huge bruises on skin she sees and notices more bandages with blood on them wrapped around her waist. Trisha grimaces and moves closer. Noting how glossy her dark blue eyes where. The blue was nearly hidden by her blown wide pupils. With a deep breath she turned away to start back towards the bed. Holding onto the wall more. When she opens the door. The front door opens as well. A skinny blond man steps into the building at the same time. A tray with food on it in his hands. Trisha and the man stare each other down. The man was shocked. Trisha finds the situation kinda funny, if she wasn't in pain. "So, I'm Trisha. I usually wear more clothes, but ya know, when nature calls and all that." She says with a chuckle. Her face was tainted a bit red, she scoots a bit more so her bottom half is a bit more covered. The mans face was red as well, but he menages to smile. "H-hello! I'm Davey." He says, Trisha nods and Davey seems a bit lost for a few moments before quickly putting the trey down and grabbing the sheet that covered her earlier. "I'll toss you your sheet." He balls it up some and tosses it, not wanting to make her upset by walking over to her. Trisha catches in her good hand, scooting more behind the door. "Thanks. Give me a moment." She slides the door shut, the shock coming over her making her face turn red. "That was embarrassing.." She mumbles. She changes the way she puts on the sheet. Instead having the open part on the front. Trisha easily wraps it and holds it by using her right hand. When she opens the door, Davey is seated on the chair that Sharron sat in from before. The food trey on the table. He looks up when the door opens. "Do you need help... Trisha?" He says the name more quietly. The boy was probably her age or younger from what she could see, skinny but slightly taller then her. "Uh." Is all she lets out as she tries to walk out on steady legs. But they did shake a bit from the weight. Trisha feels the need to show her dominance in away, so steels herself. A cocky grin a cross her mouth. "Nah, I've had to walk with worse." Trisha says with confident, even though pain was everywhere. Specially her left ankle. Might be strained she guessed, but it wasn't her main focus. Her chest pains were. Once at the bed, she sits herself on the opposite side that Davey is slowly easing her legs back up. She let's out a shakey breath before looking towards the blond boy. "So, uh..." She looks at the food on the plate, a simple piece of bread and a thick piece of meat, at the sight her stomach growled. Which surprised them both, making them slightly jump at it. Then Davey laughs loudly, pushing the tray closer towards her. It had a cup of water on it as well. "Sorry it isn't much, but judging by that loud sound you must be ravenous." He said with a wide smile. He had a very thin face with a rounded jaw. His eyes huge and a golden green color. A little beauty mark under his right eye. His hair was was a wheaty blond and it looked like he just got out of bed. "So, are you an explorer?" He asks after Trisha takes a bite of bread. Trisha looks over at him, slowly chewing as she thought about what she was. Once the bread was swallowed she spoke. "I'm on a bucket list trip." "Bucket list?" He asks curiousity loud and clear. His head tilts slightly. Trisha nods. "A bucket list to make sure I'm remembered." She says seriously before she opens the rest of her roll to put the steak in. Which was perfect. "Oh, like do good deeds and shite?" Davey asks as his hands play with a bracelet he had on his left hand. Trisha hums a bit as she bites another piece off, now with the meat in it. "Yeah, some people might call me an asshole for somethings." She says with a full mouth. Trisha was an open person and Sharron seemed decent. This guy seems fine to her as well. She figures anyone willing to save some broke ass near dead person were decent people. "Oh like what?" "Raiding old temples, killing zombie villagers that family try to hide away. Searching for the cure." Trisha swallows her food and then says. "I find that cruel but eh. One less zombie. It usually ends badly anyway. I go to the place and it's already filled with decaying zombie family. Not great." She shivers slightly, remember the times that happened. "Oh... Sorry." Davey says sheepishly and awkward. Looking away from her. She felt bad that he seems upset by what she said, so adds in. "There was a time people begged me to find a golden apple and all the ingredients for the cure." Trisha adds quickly. "I had a eighty four hour time limit. It was rough but it was nice seeing them cured... The potion maker even made me some healing potions." Trisha sighs at the mention. But doesn't bring up how the potions are probably all gone. "Wow! That's awesome, how did you find a golden apple?" Davey asked eyes filled with wonder. Trisha smiles. "I learned how to make them awhile back. So I ended up going into a huge ravine that lead to a cave to find gold. Because what you need is a shit ton of gold." She starts. They talked for what seems like hours. Trisha telling Davey her more heroic tells. He was an easy guy to talk to and amaze. But suddenly the doors open as she was going on about how she fought against eight Endermen. Sharron and another man walk in. The man holding another trey of food. Trisha blinks and looks outside to see the light has turned orange, the sky purple. "Aww Guys, she was getting to the best part!" Davey whines as he turns to look at them. Grant laughs loudly. "Sorry, sorry." He walks in more, Sharron closing the door softly. Right behind the man. "How are you feeling Trisha?" Sharron asks with a small smile. "Much better if you can deal with this curious goose's questions." Grant says picking up the old trey and putting the new one down. He puts the old trey on the other bedside table. Davey whines at that, a pout on his face. "I'm not that bad you ass!" Sharron laughs more as she goes to pull up another chair. "Oh hush up. Cole and Mick were looking for you, go find em." He waves his hand in away that has Davey sending a upset look. Before he finally got up from the chair, he looks at Trisha and grins again. "You've got to finishes that story tomorrow alright!" He declare before quickly going to the door. "Bye Trish~" He sings as he closes the door. Sharron and Grant both laugh. Trisha stares at them both as she waved goodbye towards Davey. "What's so funny?" She asks quietly as they calm down. Grant sits down in Davey's abandoned chair. "Well, you just joined nickname level with Davey in one day." Grant says. Sharron nods. "Good job." "Oh." Is all Trisha says, Suddenly feeling awkward with the two there after talking to Davey so long. Grant takes a seat where Davey was before. "Anyway, we're here to answer any questions you have?" "Oh." Is all she says again. Staring at the man. He seems to release something and laughs. "I'm Grant by the way, big boss of this place- You're in my town. Haven." Trisha nods her head. Sharron chuckles softly. "Any questions?" "How did you find me?" She asks first. Sharron nods her head. "Vince found you, he's a dog owned by Cole. We were out looking for medicinal plants and the dog went crazy and ran off. Cole followed and found you barely alive." "Wow." Trisha says looking down at her hands. "How bad is it all?" She asks, then adds. "My injuries." "From lease severe to most. Twisted ankle, broken but healing hand. Two bruised ribs and one cracked." Sharron says professionally. Trisha stares at her hand. "Glad I'm a lefty." She jokes, but her voice shakes slightly. Sharron put a gentle hand on her arm, the one with the gaze with a comforting smile. "It should heal completely." Grant chuckles. "I like you're humor kid." Trisha smiles softly and then yawns some. "That's kinda all that come to mind... Anything you need to tell me?" She asks. Sharron nods, taking her hand back. "You can stay as long as you need and want to." "I have nothing to offer for that though?" Trisha says with a frown. Grant cuts in then. "If you feel the need to offer, you can help us gather supplies, building, food and stuff like that." Sharron pinches Grant's arm, making him yelp. "Once you've fully recovered and decide you want to help." She stresses. Trisha laughs softly. "Understood." She yawns again. Sharron smiles at her and gets up. "You can sleep, Davey can easily tire anyone out by just talking. The food will be there when you wake up" "Kay." Trisha says, slumping down some. Grant follows after Sharron with a light chuckle. "Sleep well Trish." He calls as they leave. Trish feels extremely comfortable and falls into a peaceful sleep. ----- Davey has come to hang out with her practically every day since that one. Grant usually comes by as well with Sharron. Davey begins telling her about his adventures, Grant talks about how the building is going and Sharron talks about how nice the days have been recently. She has been staring at the ceiling, thinking and waiting for her friends to come by and talk to her. It was such a nice thing having people to talk to. She can go months without seeing another living human sometimes. Trisha knew once she was better and helped out enough to repay them, she'd have to deal with being alone again. It would hit her hard after this much companionship. The doors suddenly open, Trisha greatful for a friend showing up. But when she looks to the door, she sees a tall man she hasn't met before. A trey in hand. His hair was blond and neatly styled. His eyes were terrifyingly blue, it looked like they glowed. He looked imposing and scary. But as he walks over to Trisha, she smiles a little bit. "Hi." "Hello." He says back, picking up the old trey and putting the new one down. "I'm Trisha." She say, he looks at her for a moment before saying. "Ryan, pleasure." Before standing at his full height and turning on his heels. Long strides taking him all the way to the door. "Uh, you too busy to sit and talk?" She asks, a bit of desperation entering her voice. His hand pauses at the door handle. "Yes. I'm sorry." Ryan says as he leaves. Trish stares and the door, then back up at the ceiling with a small frown. She's getting a taste of what it'll be once he's back alone. Hours of quiet loneliness. She stares for hours. Watching the sunlight that stream in. Her sense of time is fucked but she imagines it's near evening. Hoping another chance for some conversation to distract her. But the sun probably only moved a small bit. Trisha was so lost that she nearly jumped out of her skin as the door opens. Trisha looks over hoping to see Davey or Grant and Sharron. But disappointment over came her when she saw Ryan. He takes long strides towards her and holds out a book with gold leaf words on it. 'Great Beasts.' Was the name. She looks curiously at it then at him. Ryan wasn't looking at her but at a point just past her. "I'm sorry, everyone is very busy today. Trying to finish the town center. I figured a book would be a good time passer... Books are great." Ryan speaks softly with his deep voice. Not sure of his words. Trish takes the book from him and he nearly recoils back from the suddenness. Trisha smiles up at Ryan. "Thank you very much." She says. He nods, turning on his heels and leaving. Trisha's smile stays as he leaves. Once he's gone, she opens the book. Trish flips through it and smiles to find drawings. Her writing was extremely poor, but her reading was fairly strong. She forgot the correct way to spell somethings in her head when she had to write. But pictures remembered her of her old storybooks. She begins reading about the beasts. ----- Ryan would come by once or twice to pick up a book and drop off another one. He'd ask if she liked it or not, her opinion on it all. It was a quiet and usually short chat. But a chat none the less. Grant came by alone to proudly tell her about the center and was excited for when she was healed enough to see it. Wanting an outside pair of eyes to judge it. Davey was whining about all the work, but said it looked awesome. Sharron came by and dropped off some boots and clothes. Telling her she could walk around soon if she felt better. After a few days of waiting, Sharron who usually brought her breakfast with Grant told her that later today she will be able to walk around with some supervision. Davey came by later whining about having stuff to do and needing to leave fast. She was surprised that he wasn't the one to show her around. "Mick, my best lad will be." Davey became happy talking about one of his friends and talked about how cool he was. But when he was getting to leave, he paused. "He'll be a bit of an asshole. You have to show him, you're not one to be pushed around. Argue with him and he'll warm up to you!" Davey waves as he leaves. Trisha thinks that over, quickly putting clothes on before eating, not wanting another Davey encounter to happen with this Mick. Which was good, because after eating half of the steak sandwich and all of the water; the door to the clinic was slammed open. A cooper haired man, with unruly curls and a scowl so deep that dimples showed on his tan freckled skin. "Get you're shit and let's fucking get this over with." He growls out. Trish shoves the rest of her food in her mouth and slips her boots on. The clothes Sharron gave her were a bit too large on her lean body. Mick was tapping his food against the marble. She stands and he turns on his heels, starting to leave. "Could you have taken any longer!" He yells out once outside. Trisha shuts the door and grins at the feeling of warm sun on her face. "Well, I could have, because I do have near no movement in my right hand. Be lucky I changed before you got here." Trish says as she lifts up the wounded hand to show Mick, who narrowed his eyes. "Whatever." He turned and walked along a stone path that went to a bridge. Trisha limps after him quickly. Keeping on a grin. "It's the truth." She says. Mich huffs. Ones across the bridge, her jaw drops. The center was must likely what they entered. It was all cobble stone. Surrounding it where half built frames of wood and stone. Only one building was complete. It was a large stone and dark would building with a porch that had a swing on it. A sign hung there that said 'Haven Hub.' As well as a carved and painted bed picture. In the center was a beautiful fountain with coloured class, shining light down into the water. She quickly moves towards it. The colors of the glass shining into the water were blue, green and gold. It was lovely. The water was lukewarm. Mick had his arms crossed as Trish sat down on the stone and looked around. Listening to the birds chirp and enjoying the warm sun. She shuts her eyes. Listening. When suddenly she heared a seagull, which makes her snap her eyes open. "Are we near the ocean?" She asks with wide eyes. Mick's frown deepened. "Yeah?" Trisha stands up and looks around, seeing a couple stone and dirt paths out of the center. "Where do I go to get there??" "Woah, woah. No we're not going to the beach!" Mick snaps, narrowing his eyes at her. She stares at him, narrowing his own eyes. "I imagine you'll get in trouble for loosing me if I suddenly hobble off into the distance. Either bring me to the beach or that happens." Trisha says seriously. Mick's eyebrows shoot up into his hairline. Trish doesn't wait as she looks around for a moment. Hobbling off towards a direction. He lets out a loud growly shout. Surprising her by grabbing her arm and dragging her off in the other directing. Trish grins as he hears him mutter obsenities. Which means the beach. "Yay!" ----- Grant was tracing in the middle of town, night was approaching. Sharron was sitting on the fountain tapping her foot nervously. "If there not back in four fucking seconds." Grant vocalizes for the hundredth time. Sharron begins biting at her nails, but quickly stops. Not wanting to get back into that habit. "Their fine I'm sure..." Sharron says, trying to look at all places that lead out of the center, hoping to see the two teens. No such luck yet. "Oh god what if the same thieves got the jump on them." Grant says with horror. Looking to Sharry with wide scared eyes. "Their fine Grant." She says firmly but Grant shakes their head. "Oh god, no no. We need to get Cole, Ryan and Jay! A search party has to happen!" Sharron gets up and is about to slap Grant to calm him down or to make him stop scaring her. But they both her two loud laughing voices coming towards them from the way to the beach. Suddenly they see Trish, arm over Mick's shoulders as he holds most of her weight. They both heave sighs of relief before Grant attempts to march over to them to rant most likely. Sharron stops him. "Calm down, yell at them when they can't attempt to escape." She says with a slight smirk. Which makes him smile. "Alright." ----- They both got an earful later, but they didn't care. They had fun. They had been attacked by a pigme zombie and Trish had picked up a huge piece of drift wood and wacked it into the ocean as it was attacking Mick. It was hilarious. After a few more days, she could leave and hang out with all of them, go to the hub to eat, instead of eating alone. Was even given a job as all of them. She told them she preferred mining. Which was good because everyone else didn't like it too much. She learned the rule of pairs, never leave the safety of Haven unless with another person as well as at least one weapon. She got a list everyday, with a list of supplies to gather and then join up with one of her friends. She met Cole who was usually quiet, but when he spoke he said something ridiculously hilarious. Jay was a quiet woman that liked books and one of the buildings in the center was going to be her bookstore/library. After a big hule of minerals everyone was outstanded and talking loudly about what to do with it. Trish even found diamond and gold. She smiles softly as everyone talks about what to do with it. Trisha eats her pork chop and gets the feeling she was dreading. It's time to leave, it's been too long and you know it. Suddenly the food is bitter in her mouth and she harshly swallows it, a grimence crossing her face. No one notices and she ends up getting up and heading to the clinic to get some sleep. She takes off her new leather bag on the table and sits down. She stares at her brown pants. Trisha thinks about it as the feeling nags at her she covers her face. Trying to force back sobs. "I don't want to leave." She said softly as salty tears sneak their way past from her ducts. Trisha hadn't even notice that she was followed by Cole. "You don't have to." At the sound of her friends voice she curled deeper into herself, letting out another sob. Vince, clicked his way towards her. Massive paws moving across the floor near silently other then the nails hitting it. He whines and sits at her feet. "Vince doesn't want you to leave either." Cole says, walking in. Door closing behind him. It was still light out, orange pink light and a purple night sky. "I have to though. If I stay in a place too long I have to leave.." She tries to explain. Anne and Artie jump upon the bed across from her, Cole pushing them aside to sit down on it as well. They both make sounds of contempt. "Are you happy about leaving?" Cole asks, Trish shakes her head. "Do you like it here, do you like us?" "I love everyone here and life here." She lets out a very loud cry and a hiccup after that. "Then way leave?" He asks softly. "Because, I... I get this feeling. Suddenly, where it tells me I have to or it'll be bad..." "I see. Well." Cole says standing up, Trisha looks at him with tear tracks on her face, some nose goop and already puffy eyes. "Tomorrow and the next day are a relaxing day. Stay for tomorrow and decide if you want to leave the next day." Trisha nods sadly. "Okay." Was her quiet response as she wipes her eyes and then nose with her sleeve. As Cole walks towards the exit, the cats follow but Vince stays for a moment. Resting a large paw on Trish's leg. With her now more movable right hand, she pets his head. Cole quietly calls him and he leaves her side. "Goodnight Trish." ----- She had stayed in her bed till late afternoon. Pretending to sleep when anyone came in. But she finally got up to go to the bathroom and Sharron caught her, with a slight worried frown she seems to want to ask something but Davey was with her and quickly interrupted. "Finally! Trish a swish! We have something to show you~" He grabs her arm and begins to drag her over to the bed, kicking her boots towards her. He's jumping up and down, with a grin so infectious she had to give him at least a small smile. Trish puts her boots on, lacing them up. Davey then prosseds to drag her across the center, through the path that leads towards the ocean. Half way she sees Mick, Cole, Ryan, Grant and Jay. She's surprised as Jay runs up, her long black hair pulled into a braid, a thick piece of cloth that she was holding quickly wraps around her eyes. "Okay, that's weird.." She just giggles lightly, her soft hands grabbing hers and begins to pull her forward, Davey's going on her shoulders. She's still dressed in a extremely loose shirt with baggy thin sleeping pants. When she can smell sharp sea breezes and hears the waves. She's spun around three times then suddenly the blindfold is removed. Trish is blinded for a moment till they fully opened. In front of her was a brick house. Flowers along the outside of a red fence. Inside a stone path to double doors and right by one of them reads. 'Trisha's house.' Trisha steps forward, mouth agape. Everyone is just quiet behind her. The ocean was right behind the house. She hears footsteps behind her as she opens the double doors. She sees a small simple kitchen, chests. underneath a window and a small sitting area. Stairs upstairs to what she can only imagine is the bedroom. But the biggest thing was the huge windows showing her the ocean and the beach. Grant puts his hands on her shoulders. "We figured you needed a legitimate home after all that stay in a privacy lagging clinic." He says with an excited bounce to his tone. "We're even setting up a bathroom upstairs. It's not done yet but I'm sure it will be soon!" Mick speaks up next. "Davey, Ryan and I houses are halfway built across the way. Cole's is going to be next to yours." Davey just nods, exited sounds coming from him, so unbelievably happy. Cole just grins. "Howdy neighbor." Sharron is the only one that looks on with slight worry. Trish's shoulders begin to shake, Grant noticing right away. "Hey, are you okay." He asks softly, making the others still with worry. Trisha nods as a sob escapes her. Her legs begin to shake as well. Grant holds her shoulders tightly and leads her to a chair, she sits down and cries. Everyone just stares awkwardly till Davey speaks up. "Do you not like it?" It was said quietly but it was loud in the room with only soft sobs. Trisha shakes her head. "I-i love it." She says softy. Mick narrows his eyes. "Then why are you crying huh? Not want to stick around." He snaps at her, making everyone flinch. She shakes her head. "No.. I'm just so happy and... I'm so sorry. I want this to be happy but I can't cry stop crying. I love it here, I love this house. Why am I crying." Sharron walks forward laying a hand on her shoulders, then leaning down to pull her into a hug. "People cry when their happy too. It's perfectly normal." After a few more quiet sobs she quietly asks. "Can I stay forever?" ***** Curiosity ***** Chapter Notes Some mild sexual content to happen in this chapter. Also note on ages. Davey is sixteen, Mick and Cole are seventeen, Ryan is just turned twenty. Grant is thirty five and Sharron is thirty three. Jay is nineteen. Trisha was relaxing in the finished library after mining, flipping through one of the new book arrivals. Ryan and Jay were gone getting new stuff, books and finally some fitting clothes for Trish. After three months of annoyingly sized clothes it was nice to have some well fitting ones. Just a bunch of t-shirts and pants, but still it's nice. Jay also was awesome and picked up new underwear for her friend. After going commando for awhile and as well wearing old boxers, it was nice being in comfortable well fitted clothes. Trish still marvels at how her sleeves aren't hanging or her shoulder isn't exposed because of how wide the neckline was. Three months and now she is finally starting to feel settled. Her house felt like home, the work was hard and worthwhile. She'd even put up some crappy art in her house. Suddenly the door slammed open, making Trish jump from her perch on a window seat. "Hey!" Mick shouts as the door swings shut behind him. "Gods Mick! Jay's in the hub if you're looking for her." Trish says with a snort as she sits back down. The man makes his way over to her, she's behind a row of bookshelves, a cozy little reading area. "Is it true?" He shouts wants he sees her, eyes narrowed. "I'm afraid so, the volume dial on you're body is broken. I'm so sorry." She says a small smirk. His brown eyes narrow more on her. "Oh haha asshole. You know what I'm asking!" Trish huffs a bit. "No, if it's not about that malfunction in you're body, then I have no clue." She frowns a bit as Mick crosses his arms and looks away from her. "That Davey got to see you naked?" He asks, voice quiet compared to his normal loud boisterous voice. Trisha's face pinks slightly. "Oh god." She says before beginning to force some laughter. "Yeah, when I first came here, I had to use the bathroom and tossed the sheet away because it would have been annoying to hobble to the bathroom with it. Just as I open the bathroom one when done, he slid the entrance." She explains running a hand through her jaw length brown hair. Mick nods a bit. "Ah." Is what he says, kinda deflated. "So, Davey's yapping about my naked body or something to you guys?" Trisha asks. The man shrugs. "He lost a bet and he had to admit an awkward encounter, per bets rules." "Ahh, the betting game. Sharron and Grant's nightmare game." Trisha jokes. Closing her book. "Yeah, we're all chilling on Breeze. Betting each other to do stupid shit. I came here because I didn't believe Davey." Mick mutters, Breeze was the area were the houses were. It's full name is Sea Breeze. But Breeze is quicker. "I understand, anyway. Let's go hang with em?" Trish suggests with a grin, which makes her eyes close a bit. "Hell yeah!" Mick says with a grin and a fist pump. Trish laughs at the change in mood. "Hey hey, I bet I can beat you there?" "Ohh? What are you betting huh?" Mick questions as they walk to the door so they can both run out. "Something neither of us would think of doing." Trisha suggests vaguely as she opens the door, holding it open for Mick. The sun was bright for being the near end of summer, the air hot but cold winds makes it all bearable. "If I say it, then it's been thought of." He points out as he stretches his leg out onto the cobble stone. She does the same. "True, true. Then something you don't want to do." Mick hums a bit then clicks his tongue. "Last one there has to kiss Ryan!" He snaps and then quickly starts running. Trisha, is surprised runs as soon as she sees Mick move. He's always been like that when they did running bets. "Well, that's rude! He'll probably kill you when you do it!" Trisha shouts as he forces herself to run just behind Mick, who laughs loudly. "You mean when YOU kiss him!" Trisha pulls slightly ahead when she chooses to to jump off a big rock that is in the middle of the way to Breeze. But Mick growls slightly, his competitiveness showing with how he forces himself to speed up and just pass her at the sign, accidentally barreling into Cole, knocking him down. Which makes Vince bark a few times before sitting. Trisha just stops short of the group as she puts her hands on her knees and pant. "Are you okay Trish?" Davey asks quietly, when she looks up his face is slightly red and he's avoiding looking her in the eye. She huffs as she stands up and lightly punches him in the arm. "Fine asshole, just quit throwing my dirty laundry around town." She says good naturedly. Davey visibly relaxes and grins. Mick is helped up by Cole. Who looks around. "Hey were is Ryan? He was around when I left." Trisha's face goes red. "Oh gods.." She mutters, looking around. All the houses were done and had all the names of the residence in wood. Ryan's house was two plots away from hers and Cole's. Sharron and Grant both had full houses inside of the hub. Cole furrows his brow a bit. "Uh, I think he wondered to the back of his house?" Mick turns to send a grin towards Trisha, making her face burn a bit more. "It's a bet~" He sings out. "Shuddup!" Trisha says as she begins to march down the path to Ryan's house, once there. She hops the side of the fence to walk to the back. Mick follows with a shit eating grin, Cole and Davey with cautious curiosity. Trisha rounds the dark wood single story house, hand on the side of it to look towards her target. Ryan was leaning on his red fence, looking out upon the beach and ocean. He had a small flower garden back her and the salt wind carries the floral scent to her nose as the wind picks up. He turns to see her friends all hiding behind a large tree that was between Ryan's house and hers. She coughs into her hand as she pushes away from the side of the house, walking towards Ryan; who quickly stood straight up. His full height looming over her like a monster. Trisha let's a small nervous smile cross her mouth. "Hi." She says walking closer, wondering how she was going to pull this off. He furrows his blond brows and nod. "Hello?" He question, wondering why she was stepping closer to him. He takes an instinctive step back. "I just came by to uh..." She says, moving her hands a bit. Her face a bit red. Ryan raises an eyebrow, confusion across his face. Trish moves quickly, using her good hand to yank Ryan down so she can put a chaste kiss to his lips. They were dry, but so were hers, maybe she should have licked them to make it better. Just as she was about to move away, Ryan puts a hand on the small of her back, bringing her near chest to chest to him. He let's out a surprised sound, mouth opening enough for Ryan to deepen the kiss. Slipping his tongue into her mouth. Now, Trisha has kissed someone on the lips but this didn't happen. She makes a quiet sound in the back of her throat as Ryan flops his tongue around her mouth. The three watching were all wide eyed, mouths opened. Trisha's eyes were open at the start, but shut when he twirls his tongue around hers. She tightens her left fist more on his shirt as she melts into the pleasant feeling. All too quickly in Trisha's mind Ryan pulls away, soft breath landing on her lips they were still extremely close. When she opens her eyes and blue meets blue, she notices that their noses were touching. Trish hadn't realized she was holding her breath, till her chest started feeling strained. She lets a slow breath out. Ryan's face was slightly red. He stands his full height, taking away his hand on her back. The other one loosen her hand on his shirt. He coughs to clear his throat. It was defiantly not for getting her attention, because he has it fully at the moment. He for once stares directly in her eyes. "Sorry, you surprised me. I imagine this is that betting game?" He says, voice completely even. Trisha nods her head slowly. "Figures, you shouldn't go around doing that." He scolds lightly, turning his gaze to the onlookers. "None of you should." He says just loud enough for them to hear. Then he walked past Trish, patting her shoulder and then into his house he goes. ----- Trisha after the kiss retreated to her house once she snapped out of it. Booking it past her friends. For right now their not around which she's glad for, but she knows it won't last for long. The kiss makes her face heat up at the thought of it. It was one of the strangest things ever but at the same time really nice. She sighs, standing from the chair she has in her bedroom. It was beginning to be late afternoon. The water was coming in, slapping the sand in pleasant crashes. Seagulls flap about over the water. She walks over to the glass and tries to look at Ryan's house, but the tree blocks most of it and all she can see is the end of his fence. Just then she hears the door downstairs open. "Trisha?" Davey calls out timidly. Trish sighs. "Upstairs." She calls. Soon she hears Davey and Mick come up, they both look towards her with a strange look. "Don't ask me, I have no idea what the fuck happened there." She says as she walks over to her single bed, she plops down on the bed. It wasn't made. The blue wool blanket bunched up. "Where's Cole?" She asks as Davey went to sit in the chair by her. Mick leans up against the wall, arms crossed. "He said he was hungry and went into town a few minutes ago." Mick says, staring out the window at the ocean. Trisha hums a bit and then everything is silent for a bit. Davey fidgeting in the chair. Trish sighs. "Ask you're question." She finally says. Davey jumps, face turning a bit red. "What in the shite happened? One minute it's all light and funny, then it looked like he was sucking the soul right out of you!" Davey says, waving his hands around to express himself more. "Yeah... It suddenly looked really intense." Mick adds, cheeks turning red a bit. "Well, he like kissed me with his tongue in my mouth?" She says, attempting to explain. Davey's face scrunches up. "What? Ew." He says. Mick looks at Trisha weirdly. She huffs at her friends. "It was surprisingly awesome, it felt weird yes. But weirdly good. Like it kinda flopped and the not controlling it kinda thing felt pretty awesome? Like uhh. It's like someone else scratching you're back, your own tongue is fine moving around your mouth. But when another one comes in it suddenly feels awesome." Trisha attempts to explain more, face turning pink. Davey and Mick both stare at her with raised brows. Trisha looks towards them with serious expression, to prove she was telling the truth. A few silent minutes pass between them, before Davey spoke up. "Would you do it again?" "Hell yes." Trisha says immediately with no extra thought, which surprises her a bit. Mick huffs a bit. "Gods, you're a weirdo." Davey, plays with a loose string on his sleeve as he quietly says. "Would you do it with me?" He says it so quietly that Mick wasn't sure he heard it right. Trisha raises her eyebrows. "Like, right now?" He nods. She stares at him for a moment, brows furrowed. Mick stares at Davey with raised brows. "Seriously? You too?" He says in surprise. "Oh hush up Mick, it sounds kinda cool." He says with a huff towards Mick, cheeks colored a peachy pink. "Sure, but this doesn't mean we're like a couple right?" Trisha asks, running a hand through her hair. Davey looks at her with wide eyes and nods. "O-of course!" Davey squeaks. Mick looks between them. "You're both insane." Trisha shrugs. "Eh, I wanna try it again anyway." She stands as she speaks, Davey leaping up from his seat as well, wondering where he should keep his hands. Mick narrows his eyes at his two friends. "Seriously?" He mutters to himself. The two stand in front of each other for a minute, Trish moving into start the kiss. ----- Ryan sighs, he's just entered the hub, noting the three youngest members aren't there yet. It was dusk. Cole was sitting by Jay, quietly chatting. Sharron was looking over some plans on the granite counter. Behind the counter is Grant, cooking up some kinda meat and bread. Again. He walks over and plops down on a stool by Sharron, laying his head on the cool granite. The redhead jumps a bit, being surprised by the young man. "Trisha kissed me and I kissed her back." Ryan mumbles into his arms, just loud enough for Sharron to hear him. She sighs. "I know, Cole told us all already." She says softly, patting his back. "I feel bad." He mumbles. Sharron moves her hand to run through his hair the way she knows he likes. "I know honey. She is cute and all, I don't fault you for it." Grant turns around noticing his two oldest partners. He walks over to them. "So, Mr. I like being a five way couple. Cole tattled on you~" The man sings, making both Ryan and Sharron groan at his horrible pitch. "Oh hush up Grant, he feels bad." Sharron huffs at the man. "Oh lighten up! This is great. Trisha is hardworking and dedicated to the town idea now. Cole was already down to add her and now Ryan has fallen under the spell of attraction." Grant says excitedly. Sharron huffs a bit. Suddenly Cole and Jay are taking seats at the counter. "She is tough cookie, plus. Vince only finds great things and that's what she is to us." He says confidently with a wide toothy smile. Jay giggles a bit. "I did find her very cute... Though, we might need to add Mick and Davey along with her." She says with a smile. Cole nods. "Which I'm for if we learn Mick is cool with being with other men. We know the type of village he came from." Sharron and Grant grimace. "True." Jay says softly. ----- Something that ended up surprising Trish was the fact she liked kissing Davey, it wasn't long after that when Mick got upset about it and she ended up kissing him like that. Making him practically purr from the feeling. Trisha and Ryan both try to avoid each other, but she can't stop looking at him. Everything that he does is interesting to her now. The way he runs his hand through his hair, the way he works with his hands. It's all eye catching now. But it's not just him, Mick and Davey have those things too. The way Davey laughs makes her chest compress, Mick makes her stomach flip the way he kisses her. It was all horribly distracting. It's why she's been hanging out with Jay more. Trying to distract herself by organizing books with the dark skinned woman. But there are points where her mind goes towards them that drives her practically insane now. "Trish? Trisha?... Trish!" Jay says loudly, shaking the other woman's shoulder with force. Trisha shouts in surprise dropping the book she's been holding for about three minutes as she stared blankly at the bookshelf. "I'm so sorry." Trish squeaks out as Jay picks up the book with a sigh. "It's fine, but are you okay? Do you want to sit down and talk?" Trisha looks into Jay's pitch eyes, contemplating if she should ask. Jay is a patient woman so waits for the minutes to pass as Trisha chooses. "Yeah, I'd like that... You won't laugh at me or think me weird right?" With a nod of Jay's head, they were off to the quiet window seat that Trisha likes. "Now tell me everything hun." Jay says, hand on the other woman's shoulder. With a big breath, Trisha explains, cheeks flaring up at some parts. But she bites the bullet and spills it all. When done, Jay pats her shoulder. "That's all completely normal Trish, you're just realizing sexual attraction." "Oh... So like the stuff that makes babies? Am I like going through a heat?" Trisha asks, a trace of fear crawls through her at that. Jay just laughs. "Kinda, but no. You're just searching for companionship and now that you noticed these things and ideas of pleasure caused by other people. It's turned on a switch. Making you hot and bothered basically." "Hot and bothered?" "Yup." Jay confirms. Trisha frowns and looks out the window at the woods. "Is it bad that I like them all like that?" "No, some people like having more partners. It's safe and lovely. Though some like to have one partner. Which is most normal." Jay explains "Oh." Is all Trisha says. Jay reaches out. "Can I try something with you?" She asks with a sweet smile across her face. Trisha nods slowly when she looks at her. Jay moves in to place a sweet kiss to Trisha's lips, surprising the younger woman. But she melts into the sign of affection easily with the other woman's soft lips. Jay gently moves her lips around after a few, she sucks Trisha's bottom lip into her mouth to lightly scratch at it with her teeth and then running her tongue over it. Trisha let's out a quiet whimper, face on fire. Jay chuckles as she moves in to make the kiss deeper, slipping her tongue in. As they kiss Jay moves in closer, putting her hands on Trisha's sides, slowly moving them up and down. They pull apart to take a few deep breaths, Jay quickly brings them back in. One hand moving to caress Trish's right boob with her hand, making Trish let out a surprised moan into Jay's mouth. They pull apart again for breaths and Jay softly laughs. "I love the fact you don't wear bras." She mumbles, moving her hands to go under Trisha's shirt. Her eyes blow wide at the sudden action from the usually timid woman. Her face is red and her bottom lip is bruised, it throbs in a soft way that feels vaguely pleasant. Jay's hands run over her chest, over hardening nipples and squeezing perky breasts, dragging out moans from the woman. Very suddenly she pulls away, chuckling as Trisha whines. "How about we have a sleepover at you're place. I'll teach you more there." Jay says sweetly, clapping her hands together. End Notes Jesus, I'm very proud of this, holy shitter.
