But not everything is a dance on roses and maybe Jungkook deserves better. If only he could figure that out himself. In the meantime Yoongi is there to comfort him. (I suck at summaries, sorry. But this is a pretty dark fic and Jungkook gets hurt a lot, so if that's not your thing you've now been warned. The dubious consent bit is explained in the beginning notes.) Notes The ages in this fic: Jungkook: 16 Yoongi: 28 Taehyung: 18 Hoseok: 18 Namjoon: 17 Jimin: 16 Seokjin: 29 Though only Jungkook, Taehyung and Yoongi are major characters. WARNING! I wasn't lying when I said that Taehyung is an asshole. Though Jungkook does agree to sex, he is in a lot of pain and he doesn't enjoy it. That's why I tagged dubious consent. Trust me when I say I'm not proud of this fic. It's full of clichés and some of the characters are pretty one-dimensional. However this idea has been floating around my mind for a while now so I felt like I needed to write it down. (Also sorry to all Taehyung-stans. I do love him I promise, but I needed a bad guy so ...) This was originally supposed to be a one-shot, but when I started writing it just became longer and longer with no end in sight. So I decided to divide it into several chapters. I have not finished writing it yet, but I do have the other chapters planned. It will still probably take me a while to write it all down though. ***** Chapter 1 ***** Chapter Notes See the end of the chapter for notes Jungkook wanted to cry. His best friend Jimin was moving away today and he had too little time to say goodbye. Not only was Jimin his best friend, but he was also his only friend. Well, aside from Jungkook’s boyfriend, though, one could hardly call them friends. Jungkook knew that he would be lonely after Jimin left, but he didn’t want to make his friend feel worse about it, so he smiled and embraced the shorter male. “I’m going to miss you so much” He whispered into Jimin’s hair and he could feel tears starting to form in his eyes. “Me too” Jimin answered and for a while they stood like that, wrapped in each other’s arms. But unfortunately, it didn’t last for long. Jungkook felt a hand grab his arm and pull him away from Jimin. “Hey” a familiar voice said and Jungkook really couldn’t help the smile that crept onto his face. He turned towards his boyfriend who without another word begun dragging him out of the hallway. Jungkook’s smile faltered as he looked back at Jimin, but he didn’t dare to fight back, instead he said, “Can we do this later? I kind of wanted to say goodbye to Jimin.” His voice was small but Taehyung heard him. They abruptly stopped and Taehyung looked at him with a furrowed brow. “Is Jimin more important to you than me?” He asked. “I’m your boyfriend, does that mean nothing to you?” Taehyung let go of his hand and Jungkook panicked. He’d had a crush on Taehyung for close to a year before he dared to ask him out. To his surprise Taehyung had said yes and that had been the happiest day of Jungkook’s life. They had been dating for close to a month now and the thought of losing Taehyung over something this silly made him start crying. He took Taehyung’s hand again and answered as best he could. “No, of course you’re t-the most i-i-important one. I love you” “Good” Taehyung said before scrunching up his nose. “You’re ugly when you cry” He gave Jungkook a once over and continued with a disapproving voice. “And what’s up with this outfit. You didn’t really think this looked good, did you? You’re embarrassing me” Jungkook blushed and looked down towards the floor. He felt ashamed, he had liked these clothes when he put them on this morning. He had felt pretty. But now he’d rather walk around naked. Taehyung begun walking again, pulling Jungkook with him. After a while they reached the men’s bathroom and Taehyung pulled him inside, locking the door behind them. Jungkook barely had time to react before he was pushed up against the wall, Taehyung’s mouth attacking his. Jungkook had a hard time keeping up and Taehyung seemed to notice because he pulled away with a deep sigh. “Can’t you do anything right” He muttered and Jungkook wanted to die. He wanted to impress Taehyung, but he was inexperienced and it was difficult. Taehyung pushed him down so he was kneeling before the older and asked, “Can you suck me off at least?” Jungkook nodded eagerly, even though he was a bit scared. He had never given anyone a blowjob before. Taehyung pulled down his jeans and boxers enough to release his dick which was already half hard. Jungkook’s eyes widened at the sight of it. Jungkook knew he himself wasn’t very small. He had seen Jimin’s dick a few times in the locker room and he was a lot larger than him. But Taehyung’s dick was huge and Jungkook had no idea how he was supposed to fit it into his mouth. But if this was what Taehyung wanted, he had to try. He wasn’t sure of what to do, but he started with wrapping his lips around the tip, slowly working his way down. He had never received a blowjob either. Taehyung was his first boyfriend after all, but he tried thinking about what felt good when he was jerking himself off, so when he couldn’t take anymore he pulled off almost the entire way and pushed his tongue into the slit. Taehyung grunted and grabbed hold of Jungkook’s hair. Without warning Taehyung begun thrusting and Jungkook gagged. He tried to pull off, but Taehyung’s grip on his hair was too strong. Struggling to breathe Jungkook could feel how tears started to run down his face for the second time that day. Jungkook whimpered pitifully. He wanted the tears to stop, Taehyung thought he was ugly when he cried. He didn’t want to disappoint the other. Eventually the urge to puke wore of, and if it weren’t for the lack of air Jungkook was getting, he might not have minded that much. But then Taehyung shoved in one final time and came down Jungkook’s throat, and he swallowed and swallowed and swallowed, but still some cum dribbled out of the corner of his mouth. He was becoming dizzy because of the oxygen deprivation and when Taehyung finally pulled out Jungkook had to breathe in deeply several times. He could hear Taehyung whistle a tune and he could feel as Taehyung pressed his dick against Jungkook’s cheek, slowly trailing it down his chin and throat until he wiped of the last of the cum and saliva on the t-shirt Jungkook was wearing. It felt wet where Taehyung’s penis had dragged across his skin and now there was a stain on Jungkook’s shirt. He wasn’t too happy about that, but Taehyung just laughed and said, “It’s not like that shirt can get any uglier anyway”, before turning around to leave. Jungkook grabbed ahold of his hand, effectively stopping his boyfriend. When Taehyung turned to him with raised eyebrows Jungkook asked, “How was it?” Taehyung sighed and Jungkook could feel nervousness like a rock in his stomach. “What should I say, hmh? I don’t want to lie, so honestly, it wasn’t that good. I’ve had a lot better blowjobs. Frankly, yours was one of the worst I’ve ever received.” Jungkook hated himself. Of course, he wasn’t good enough for Taehyung. He found it surprising that the older had agreed to date him at all. Taehyung deserved someone a lot better than Jungkook. “Why don’t you come over to my place tonight.” Taehyung said a minute or so later. And Jungkook, despite his shame and self-hate, couldn’t help but feel happier because of those words. Despite how inadequate Jungkook and his blowjob was Taehyung still wanted to see him. It hadn’t been a question, but Jungkook nodded and smiled anyway. Taehyung turned around to leave, unlocking and opening the door, but paused halfway through. “Bring food too. From that place I love” Then he walked away, leaving Jungkook still kneeling down on the dirty floor of the men’s bathroom. Jungkook stood up on wobbly legs feeling incredibly gross. He’d never been a big fan of public bathrooms and usually tried to avoid them at all costs, but what wouldn’t he do for his wonderful boyfriend. Picking up his bag that he’d dropped on the floor he searched around for his phone. He took one glance at the time and sprinted out of the bathroom. He was late. He had signed up for a music club, that met up on Tuesdays and Fridays after all the classes has ended. He’d thought that since Jimin was moving away he should get a hobby, something that might get him some more friends as well, and he had always enjoyed singing. But now he was late, in fact it might even be over. He rushed through the hallways, the school practically deserted this late in the afternoon. When he made it to the music classroom students were already filing out. Most of them he didn’t recognize, but they stared at him as he hurried past them and into the room. There were only a few students left inside, one of them being Hoseok. Jungkook and Hoseok weren’t exactly friends, but Jungkook really liked Hoseok anyway because the older was always nice to him. To everyone actually. Hoseok took one look at Jungkook before pushing him out of the classroom and into a corner. “You might want to wipe that off before you talk to Mr. Min.” Hoseok gestured to Jungkook’s face and smiled before he left. Jungkook grabbed his phone and turned on the camera app. One gaze at himself and he cursed inwardly. He had dried cum on his chin, his hair was disheveled and his eyes were bloodshot. Not exactly a great first impression. Jungkook admired Mr. Min a lot, despite having never actually talked to him. He had always seemed like a respectable and cool dude. There weren’t many teachers like that. One could say that Jungkook had a small crush on him, though not anymore because he was dating Taehyung now. The man of his dreams. Jungkook wet his fingers with his tongue and rubbed furiously at his chin until all that was left was a red spot. He ran his fingers through his hair in an attempt to make it appear better. He could do nothing about his red eyes or the cum stain on his t-shirt, but if he adjusted the straps on his bag a bit at least it was somewhat hidden. Bracing himself he walked into the now empty classroom, save for the teacher of course. Mr. Min was sitting by the piano playing a song Jungkook didn’t recognize. “Excuse me sir” Jungkook said, wincing at the sound of his hoarse voice. Mr. Min turned around raising his eyebrows at Jungkook. “Who are you?” The older asked voice sounding bored. “Ah, I’m Jeon Jungkook, sir. I signed up for the music club?” “You do realize that today’s session has already ended, right?” Jungkook’s cheeks burned with embarrassment. “Y-yes sir, I was a bit … preoccupied” Mr. Min looked up and down Jungkook’s body, finally saying, “I see”, voice laced with amusement. Jungkook was struck with the realization that Mr. Min could probably guess what he’d been doing, and Jungkook felt a sudden urge to run and hide. He cleared his throat awkwardly, refusing to meet his teacher’s gaze. “So, what do you do Jungkook? Why did you want to join this club?” “I, uh … I sing. And I can play the piano, badly” Jungkook said, still not looking in Teacher Min’s direction. “I wanted to join because I … like … music?” “Alright then Jungkook, I’ll let your tardiness slide this time, but don’t let it happen again. I know this isn’t a compulsory course but if you wanted to join at least show me the curtesy of showing up on time.” Jungkook bows “Thank you. And of course, I promise I’ll be on time in the future.” He bows again for good measure before standing straight again finally meeting Mr. Min’s stare. After a minute or two of silence Mr. Min raises an eyebrow at Jungkook. “Aren’t you leaving? It’s a Friday after all, don’t you want to go home?” “Ah, of course” Jungkook blushes again. “Have a nice weekend Mr. Min. See you next Tuesday.” Mr. Min nodded and Jungkook quickly made his way out of the room, cursing his social awkwardness.   The first thing Jungkook did when he stepped into his apartment was to strip of all his clothing and throwing them into the bin. He had liked them, but if it was like Taehyung said, that they were ugly, there was no use in keeping them. He had to leave for Taehyung’s place soon, but Jungkook wanted to shower and put on a better outfit first. He decided to hurry because even though they hadn’t specified a certain time, he’d rather be a bit early than a bit late. Besides, the quicker he got to Taehyung’s apartment the longer time he could spend with him. Before showering Jungkook sent a quick text to Jimin, asking how it was going and if he’d left yet. 15 minutes later when Jungkook was clean Jimin still hadn’t responded, but Jungkook thought nothing of it. He was probably just busy with the move and didn’t have time to answer. Picking out an outfit turned out to be more difficult than Jungkook had imagined. Usually he had no problem choosing what to wear, but he really wanted to impress Taehyung and he felt like none of his clothes were good enough. He tried thinking of what Taehyung usually wears and finally he settled for a pair of ripped jeans and a simple black oversized t-shirt. He hadn’t bought the jeans himself, and they made him feel extremely uncomfortable, but Jimin had said he looked good in them so he hoped Taehyung would think so as well. After a final glance in the mirror, Jungkook put on a jacket and left the apartment, locking the door behind him. He felt quite happy. He was going to see his boyfriend and for once it had been the older who invited him, not the other way around. Usually Jungkook had to practically beg before Taehyung agreed to do something with him. This was a nice change. Thankfully the restaurant Taehyung wanted food from was on the way so Jungkook didn’t have to take a detour. He had never eaten food from there before since he wasn’t a big fan of spicy food, but once he and Taehyung had walked past here and the older had said that this was his favorite restaurant. However, after he made it inside, he gaped at the prices. Jungkook could barely afford cheap convenience store food with the allowance his parents sent him each month. But Jungkook felt like he owed Taehyung after the horrible blowjob he’d given him earlier that day so he used the last bills in his wallet to make Taehyung happy. He wasn’t sure what Taehyung wanted, but a picture on the menu looked a lot like something he’d seen Taehyung eat so he went for that one. Holding the bag of food in his hand he resumed the walk to his boyfriend’s apartment. His wallet felt considerably lighter and he was slightly worried, but he thinks he has one or two packages of ramen in his cupboards. The end of the month was nearing and next week he could simply eat a big meal in school and skip breakfast and dinner. It wasn’t that big of a deal. It was chilly outside but the walk wasn’t very long so he soon found himself ringing Taehyung’s doorbell. He had to wait quite a while before Taehyung opened, but when he did Jungkook greeted him with a big smile. Taehyung didn’t return it, instead opting to give Jungkook a once over. Jungkook tried his best not to feel discouraged. “Well, it’s better than before I guess” Taehyung sighs before grabbing ahold of Jungkook’s shirt. “Except for this one. It’s kind of boring don’t you think?” Looking down at it Jungkook frowns and blushes. He should’ve gone for a t-shirt with a print on it. How could he be so stupid? Taehyung took the food from Jungkook’s hand and motioned towards Jungkook’s torso. “Take it off” Taehyung demanded. “W-what?” Jungkook stuttered. “I said, take it off! Or leave. Your choice, but if I have to spend the evening with you I refuse to look at that t-shirt any longer.” Taehyung turned around and walked into the kitchen. Jungkook closed the door behind him and toed of his shoes. He left his bag by the door and followed Taehyung. When he entered the kitchen, Taehyung turned around. “Well? What are you waiting for?” Damn it, Jungkook had hoped that Taehyung was joking. “Where is your brother?” Jungkook asked shyly. “Ah, is that what you’re worried about?” Taehyung’s gaze softened. “He is away for the weekend, you don’t have to worry, we’re alone.” Jungkook nodded and took off his jacket and shirt, holding them in front of his body to shield himself. But Taehyung took the shirt from his hands and placed it on the counter. Jungkook asked if he could put the jacket back on and Taehyung just shrugged so Jungkook took it as a sign he could. “Follow me, we’ll eat in the living room” Taehyung said grabbing the food and leaving Jungkook alone in the kitchen, but he soon followed. They sat across from each other and Jungkook felt utterly ridiculous in his jacket with nothing under, awkwardly trying to hide himself from Taehyung’s view, without succeeding very well. Taehyung ate almost all the food by himself. But it was okay with Jungkook, he didn’t want it. Spicy food always made him cry and he didn’t want to appear uglier than he already was. They talked for a long while. Or well, Taehyung talked. Jungkook mostly listened. He had a lot he wanted to say to the older, but whenever he started talking about his life his boyfriend seemed bored and distracted, so Jungkook settled for simply listening. But he was alright with that. The fact that Taehyung wanted to spend time with him at all made him ecstatic. When Taehyung finished eating he patted his stomach, probably feeling content. Jungkook had only eaten half a piece of bread. It was the only thing that had come with the food that wasn’t spicy and Taehyung had wanted the other half of the bread, which Jungkook had happily given. But his stomach wasn’t as happy and Jungkook regretted not eating before he came. It grumbled right when Taehyung stopped speaking so it was heard uncomfortably clearly and Taehyung just stared at him for a while. Jungkook was about to apologize, what for he himself wasn’t entirely sure, but with the way Taehyung was looking at him Jungkook felt like he should. But before he could get the words out Taehyung spoke. “Well, at least if you don’t eat as much you won’t get any fatter than you already are.” Jungkook was unsure if it was an insult or not. Taehyung had basically called him fat and that made Jungkook incredibly embarrassed. He had been slacking off a bit on working out lately. But on the other hand, Taehyung had said it was a good thing he wasn’t eating much, which was a compliment right? Maybe Taehyung was just concerned for his wellbeing. So Jungkook smiled a bit before ducking his head down, avoiding Taehyung’s gaze. When Taehyung realized he wasn’t going to get a response he changed the topic. “You’ll do the dishes, right.” It wasn’t a question and as soon as Jungkook heard it he sprung to his feet. It wasn’t more than right that he does the dishes when Taehyung had so kindly invited him over. Jungkook picked up the plates and glasses and made his way over to the kitchen. He waited until the water turned hot before he begun. He could feel his heart hammer away inside his chest, he was extremely nervous, so the distraction of doing the dishes was quite welcome. He was washing the last plate when Taehyung came into the kitchen. He walked up to Jungkook and wrapped his arms around his waist. Jungkook shuddered and couldn’t help but gasp a bit. He could feel Taehyung grinning against his neck and as soon as Jungkook finished Taehyung ran his hands higher up Jungkook’s torso until his fingers came into contact with the zipper of Jungkook’s jacket. “It’s time this comes off. No?” Taehyung didn’t wait for an answer as he unzipped his jacket, pulling it off him. Taehyung dropped the jacket on the floor and stepped back to Jungkook, nuzzling his face into Jungkook’s shoulder. “Are you sure?” Jungkook asked. “I was such a disappointment earlier” Jungkook blushed at the memory. “There are other things you could do for me” Taehyung whispered in his ear and pressed closer until Jungkook could feel his hyung’s erection against his ass. When Taehyung started grinding against him Jungkook couldn’t help but moan. His dick was also coming to life inside his pants. Not that Jungkook was complaining. On the contrary, though Jungkook had never done anything remotely like this in the past, he wanted to if it was with Taehyung. Jungkook gripped onto the counter tightly, gasping and moaning more than was probably appropriate considering they weren’t doing anything more than Taehyung humping Jungkook’s ass. But it felt good and Taehyung didn’t seem to mind that Jungkook was being loud, so the younger continued. “Maybe we should move this to my bedroom” Taehyung bit the back of Jungkook’s neck lightly as he tugged him along. Jungkook just nodded, painfully hard and ready to do just about anything that Taehyung asked of him. The apartment wasn’t big so they reached the bedroom quickly. Taehyung begun taking his clothes off, so Jungkook did too. Jungkook just watched as Taehyung picked up a bottle of what must be lube from his desk and Jungkook felt the need to tell him. So, he did. “This is my first time” He didn’t say it loudly and Taehyung didn’t appear to have heard him. Jungkook did not repeat himself. He didn’t want to and he didn’t have the time to. Taehyung told him to get on the bed on all fours and Jungkook did. Because he wanted this. He turned his head to look as Taehyung lubed himself up and Jungkook nodded again when the older raised an eyebrow at him. He wanted this. Jungkook had never watched porn. Perhaps because he hadn’t felt the need to, but mainly because he was constantly afraid of being watched. Maybe he was a bit paranoid. He lived alone now, despite his young age, but memories of what it was like to live with his parents still resurfaced whenever he even thought of doing something they wouldn’t approve of. But it was not like he knew how to find porn anyway so it didn’t really matter. He hadn’t talked much about sex, heard or read anything about it. He wasn’t well-prepared for what was to come. Though nothing could probably prepare him for the pain. He screamed in agony as Taehyung entered him. It didn’t seem as if though something of that size was supposed to be there. Like Jungkook’s body had to tear itself apart in order to accommodate Taehyung’s dick. Taehyung’s pace was fast and relentless, and at every thrust Jungkook cried out in pain. The hurt had quickly made his own penis soften and he couldn’t think of anything other than make it stop, make it stop.He prayed that Taehyung would hear his screams and pull out, but no such luck. Jungkook couldn’t take it for much longer so he tried to crawl away, but Taehyung just yanked him back and leaned down, growling into his ear. “Shut up and stay still. You wanted this remember.” Jungkook had wanted this. He does remember. Maybe there was something wrong with him, other people enjoyed this right? He didn’t want to make Taehyung even more disappointed in him. It’s not Taehyung’s fault Jungkook was incompetent, so Jungkook bit down on his bottom lip, trying his hardest not to let any sounds out. He couldn’t completely muffle the noise though, but at least the screams had downgraded to whimpers. He realized belatedly that there were tears running down his cheeks. God, he really couldn’t stop crying today. Jungkook wanted to slap himself. He was a fat, ugly, incompetent person and Jungkook couldn’t for the life of him understand why Taehyung wanted to be with him. Taehyung’s dick hit something within him that sent a jolt of pained pleasure through Jungkook’s body. During the next few thrusts Taehyung kept hitting that spot and it was a strange feeling of hurting so bad and yet still being able to feel some kind of pleasure. Jungkook had just started to become hard again when Taehyung came inside of him. Once he was milked dry he pulled out and plopped down beside Jungkook, his eyes closed. Jungkook could feel cum as it dribbled down his inner thigh, but he just stared at Taehyung’s face expectantly until he realized that the older wasn’t going to help him with his own problem. But then again, why would he, Jungkook chastised himself. Taehyung was already doing enough just by being with him, it wasn’t his fault that Jungkook couldn’t get off from having sex like a normal person. Jungkook had just wrapped a hand around his erection when a push sent him over the edge of the bed. He landed harshly on his butt and Jungkook whimpered when pain begun to spread through his body, originating from his ass. The push hadn’t been a hard one, but Jungkook hadn’t been prepared and that was terribly unfortunate. All Jungkook could hope for was that Taehyung didn’t feel bad about it, the older had probably just wanted to get Jungkook’s attention. When Jungkook looked up he saw Taehyung peering down at him. “Why are you still here?” Taehyung grimaced when Jungkook didn’t answer. “Oh god, you’re not one of those people who want to stay and cuddle after a fuck right?” Jungkook blushed furiously. He was one of those people. But he quickly scrambled to his feet, trying his best to ignore the pulsing pain going through his body. “Can I clean myself up a bit before I go?” he asked. Taehyung sighed deeply pinching the bridge of his nose. “Do you have to?” Jungkook supposed that, he did in fact not have to. So he begun to search for his clothes. His pants were easily found, but his underwear was not. It was probably under the bed or something like that, but Jungkook didn’t feel like getting on his knees to check it out. Instead he just pulled his jeans up his cum-stained legs and butt, grimacing when he had to close them over his hard dick. Jungkook looked down at himself cursing how tight the jeans were. His bulge was made even more obvious because he wasn’t wearing any underwear and Jungkook thought he could see a bit of cum in the corner of one of the tears high up on his thigh. When Jungkook turned around to face Taehyung again the older appeared to have fallen asleep. Jungkook smiled. Taehyung looked adorable, his face relaxed and lips slightly parted. Jungkook thought Taehyung was the most beautiful man on earth. Perhaps he was. Jungkook walked over to the bed so that he was standing next to Taehyung’s sleeping frame. It hurt to lean over, but Jungkook did anyway, hesitating before kissing Taehyung. Kind of just hovering above him for a few seconds. But then he kissed him and Taehyung’s lips were soft and Jungkook didn’t want to pull away, but eventually he did anyway. He startled when he opened his eyes and saw Taehyung staring back at him. Shit, had he awoken the other? Taehyung wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and did it again with the other hand as if though he really wanted the feeling of Jungkook’s lips against his to go away. Jungkook flinched at the action. Was he really that gross? “You haven’t left yet.” Taehyung stated, voice void of any emotion. “S-sorry. I-I was j-just a-a-about to” Jungkook stuttered. When Taehyung didn’t say anything else Jungkook turned to leave with a mumbled goodbye. But he didn’t get to take a single step however, because a hand smacked his butt harshly. Taehyung didn’t move his hand, he just gripped one of Jungkook’s ass- cheeks tightly. Jungkook was about to turn around and tell him to let go, because Jungkook’s butt was sore from the sex earlier and hitting him made the pain a thousand times worse. But then Taehyung said something that made the words die in Jungkook’s throat. “I like your ass Jungkook-ah.” Then he slapped his butt again with more force. “The rest of you is kind of meh, but your ass is great.” Jungkook didn’t care about whatever physical agony he might feel. Taehyung could slap his butt however many times he wanted, Jungkook would be happy anyway. Because Taehyung liked something about him. Taehyung liked his butt and that mad butterflies come alive inside Jungkook’s stomach. And Jungkook wasn’t even aware that Taehyung knew his name. This was the first time Taehyung had said it since the day Jungkook confessed. So when Taehyung continued slapping his butt Jungkook just stood still and took it. Because Taehyung remembered his name, and Taehyung liked his butt. Another good thing came from the slaps, apparently his body recognized that pain did not equal pleasure and his erection softened. So when Jungkook was able to leave, at least he didn’t have to deal with that embarrassment. Jungkook was quick to grab his t-shirt off the counter, reminding himself to throw it away when he came home. After he put on his shoes and grabbed his bag he walked out of the apartment as fast as he could whilst limping from the pain still present in his lower body. It was quite cold outside and Jungkook had forgotten his jacket inside Taehyung’s apartment, but he didn’t want to turn back so he just ignored his freezing limbs and continued limping back home. But as it would seem, today was really not Jungkook’s day. Not only did the walk home take longer than usual, due to his little problem. When he finally arrived, he realized after dumping all the contents inside his bag on the floor, that his keys were in his jacket pocket. Jungkook wanted to scream in frustration. Why? Why wasn’t anything working today. Did the universe want him to feel like shit?                                  Jungkook contemplated what to do. He couldn’t go back now, Taehyung would be pissed and Jungkook didn’t want the older to realize how stupid he was. He could text tomorrow and ask if he could pick up his jacket. He didn’t need to tell him about the keys, for tonight he could just sleep out here in the hallway. He struggled to sit down, he didn’t want to put any pressure on his ass, so he got down on his knees before trying his best to lay down on his side. There was a constant throbbing and sudden flashes of intense pain but he tried his best to ignore it. It was surprisingly difficult for Jungkook to fall asleep. He was exhausted but the discomfort his body felt kept him awake. He was using his bag as a pillow, but there was nothing but hard floor under his body and lying in the same position made his hip ache and his arm fall asleep (unlike the rest of him). But he couldn’t move, because the throbbing in his ass had somehow become worse and just the thought of moving even slightly made him wince. Perhaps it was just that he wasn’t distracted anymore and thus could concentrate more on what hurt him. Nevertheless, it was making it very difficult for him to get some rest.  Eventually he managed to sink into something at least resembling sleep. It was somewhere between dream and reality, where everything was weird and nothing made sense. When he awoke maybe an hour or so later he was terribly confused. It took him approximately three seconds to figure out where he was, and another ten seconds to figure out why he woke up. Someone was standing by the stairs, staring at him. The stranger must wonder why he was sleeping here. This wasn’t the best neighborhood, but even so, people sleeping in the hallway inside apartment buildings was pretty rare. Jungkook stood up on shaky legs, grimacing at his soreness. He felt an explanation was necessary. Looking up Jungkook startled. Staring back at him with an unreadable expression was Mr. Min. For a few minutes, they just stood and looked at each other. Jungkook was unsure of what to say and he could feel the way his cheeks slowly started to color. “You’re that kid from earlier today. What was your name agai …?” “Jungkook. Jeon Jungkook” Jungkook interrupted. “Alright Jungkook. What are you doing out here?” Mr. Min raised his eyebrows at him. “I forgot my keys …” Maybe Jungkook shouldn’t say that it was at his boyfriend’s house. Mr. Min would probably wonder why he didn’t just go back to fetch them. “… somewhere” he finished. “Well, when does your parents get home?” “They uh … don’t live with me anymore. They moved back to my hometown.” Jungkook mumbled, turning his gaze away from the older. “Isn’t there anyone you can stay with? A friend or something?” Mr. Min’s eyebrows were furrowed. “My only friend moved away today.” Jungkook snorted. “Ah, this entire day has been pretty crap actually.” Mr. Min looked contemplative. After a while he sighed and his face softened. “You can stay with me for tonight.” Jungkook shook his head violently. “No that’s okay. You really don’t have to, I’m fine with just sleeping out here.” “Don’t be ridiculous Jungkook. I’m offering not because I feel like I have to, but because I don’t want you to freeze to death out here in the hallway. Don’t argue with me on this.” Mr. Min’s voice was hard but his eyes were soft and Jungkook could see genuine worry in them, so he nodded and followed after Mr. Min as he walked down the hallway. When they reached Mr. Min’s door the older looked down at Jungkook’s legs. “Have you hurt yourself? You’re limping pretty badly.” Shit! Jungkook blushed furiously, unsure of what to say. “I uh, fell” he settled on after too long time had passed. “You fell?” Mr. Min asked looking like he didn’t believe it at all. Jungkook nodded, forcing himself to look into Mr. Min’s eyes as he did. Mr. Min shrugged and turned to unlock the door. Jungkook took the opportunity to change the topic. “I don’t remember seeing you here before, Mr. Min” Mr. Min cringed. “Please don’t call me Mr. Min when we’re outside of school. I already feel old enough as it is. I frankly don’t see the point of titles at all. I doubt students will respect their teachers more because of a measly Mr. or Miss put in front of their surnames. But the school has that rule so I, just like you, am forced to abide by it. But not inside my own home.” Mr. Min looked determined, like he thought about this a lot. “Oh and, I only moved here a few days ago. My previous roommate decided to get a girlfriend and kicked me out. Well, he didn’t kick me out, more like hinted that he wanted to spend more time alone with her. Then he proceeded to apologize profusely when I decided to move out. Hypocrite.” The door opened and Mr. Min stepped inside, motioning for Jungkook to follow him. From what Jungkook could see of the apartment it was pretty damn empty. Boxes littered the floor, probably stuffed full with Mr. Min’s stuff. But the rest was bare, not even a couch, or a dining table, not a single chair in sight. Pretty damn empty. “What should I call you then?” Jungkook asked. “Oh, eh … Yoongi would be fine I guess. I mean, that is my name after all.” Yoongi scratched the back of his neck with his key. Jungkook didn’t really know what to answer. He had never been good at the whole conversation thingy. “Have you eaten? I don’t think I have any food unfortunately.” Yoongi walked further inside his apartment and Jungkook scrambled to get his shoes of and follow him. “Yes I have, it’s fine.” Jungkook said. It wasn’t a complete lie. He had eaten a bit of bread and though it wasn’t nearly enough, that was Jungkook’s own fault and he didn’t want to worry Yoongi with it. Yoongi seemed extremely awkward and that didn’t help Jungkook feel any better about this entire situation. “Do you want to go sleep? Or do you want to do something else. We could watch … oh, right. I don’t have a TV yet.” Yoongi rambled. “There isn’t that much to do here. But still, what do you want to do?” Jungkook was extremely tired and the sooner he went to sleep, the sooner it would be tomorrow. “I’m kind of tired actually. So sleeping would be nice” “Right” Yoongi muttered, leading the way into the bedroom. It was a small bedroom, and it was a small apartment, but Jungkook knew that, his was the same. “Do you have anything against sleeping on the floor? As you can probably see I don’t have a couch, or much of anything really. I can give you a pillow and a blanket.” “The floor is fine. I was going to sleep on the floor anyway.” Jungkook said, looking around the bedroom. There weren’t any boxes in there, just a single bed standing in one corner and a few clothes littered across the floor. Yoongi handed him the pillow and blanket and told Jungkook to settle down wherever. Jungkook found a decent spot to sleep in. As he was doing so Yoongi changed into a pair of pajama pants and a t-shirt. Jungkook blushed, it felt weird watching his teacher get dressed, but Yoongi was completely shameless, not the least bit bothered by changing in front of his student. Yoongi turned around when he heard Jungkook groan. Jungkook was in the process of sitting down and it hurt like hell. “Are you going to sleep in your jeans?” Yoongi asked shocked. Jungkook nodded, trying to keep conversation at a minimum. He wasn’t good at talking with people he weren’t close to. “Really? You can just borrow a pair of sweats if you’re uncomfortable sleeping in only your underwear.” Jungkook blushed and said he was sure. He didn’t need Yoongi to know that he wasn’t wearing any underwear, or that his ass and thighs were covered in dried cum. “Ok, that’s your choice I guess.” Jungkook shifted to lie down and even though he really tried to suppress it a small whimper escaped him anyway. Yoongi flinched. “Shit! Are you badly hurt.” He rushed over to Jungkook, scanning his body trying to look for the cause of Jungkook’s discomfort. “If you’re hurting a lot you shouldn’t sleep on the floor. Come on, why don’t you take the bed and I’ll sleep on the floor tonight.” Yoongi grasped Jungkook’s upper arms, trying to pull him up, but Jungkook strained against his hold. “I can’t let you do that. It’s your bed and I’m already troubling you enough. I’ll get over the pain don’t worry.” “Bullshit. If you sleep on the hard floor you’re going to hurt even worse in the morning. I’m not asking if you want to sleep on the bed, I’m telling you. It’s for your own good. And I’m your teacher. It’s my job to make sure you’re alright.” “Not after school hours it isn’t” Jungkook argued. Though a bed did seem nice he couldn’t let Yoongi do that for him when he’d already been super kind. Yoongi managed to pull him up, somehow. But Jungkook continued on straining towards the floor. Yoongi sighed and wrapped an arm around Jungkook’s waist to hold him up. Jungkook froze. Too close, Yoongi was too close. He smelled too nice, and was too cool and Jungkook needed to get away so that he could think normally again. Jungkook took a few steps back and said, “I’m not letting you sleep on the floor in your own home. That would be extremely rude of me.” “And I’m not letting you sleep on the floor when you’re injured. That would be rude of me.” Yoongi countered. The two stared at each other, neither backing down. “I guess we’re not sleeping then.” Jungkook said, internally cringing at his own childishness. “Oh, you’re definitely going to sleep. And you’re going to sleep on the bed.” Yoongi answered, beginning to slowly push Jungkook towards the bed, careful not to hurt him. Jungkook shook his head, but didn’t fight back against the pushes. “No, I won’t allow you to sleep on the floor.” They reached the bed and Yoongi tried to make him sit down, but Jungkook remained standing. “Fine. I promise I won’t sleep on the floor, but you’re still sleeping on the bed.” Yoongi said, glaring at him. Jungkook nodded, satisfied and allowed Yoongi to help him lie down comfortably. And god was it comfortable. The bed was perhaps the softest thing Jungkook had ever been on in his life. This was paradise, it must be. He was so focused on how good it felt that he almost didn’t notice Yoongi climbing in next to him. Except it would be impossible for him not to notice, because it was a single bed and that forced them to lie practically on top of each other. Okay, not really, but very fucking close and that was bad enough. This was his teacher. A teacher he used to have a crush on because he looked cool when he walked down the corridor. And Jungkook was almost 100% certain that this was illegal, or at the very least, highly frowned upon. Like, they weren’t really doing anything, but if someone found them like this they would surely be misunderstood and the consequences would be dire. As in, losing your job and getting suspended or possibly even expelled, dire. Jungkook knew all that, and yet he couldn’t bring himself to do anything. He should tell Yoongi that it’s fine if he sleeps on the floor, he should get up himself. Hell, even pushing Yoongi out of the bed would be better than this. And yet, Jungkook didn’t want to. He must be the worst boyfriend in the world. He loved Taehyung and still he wanted to share a bed with another man. If Taehyung found out about this he would dump Jungkook. Jungkook’s sure of it. But it feels nice. Not only lying in this extremely comfortable bed, but also feeling the warmth of another human next to him. It feels so, so nice. Jungkook didn’t move, he didn’t dare to. He barely even breathed. He couldn’t tell if Yoongi was awake or not, the other hadn’t made any sounds since they lied down. He wasn’t sure how long time had passed, but his stomach started rumbling again and it didn’t seem to want to stop. He hoped that Yoongi was asleep, but just as everything else that day, nothing worked the way he wanted them to. After a deep sigh Yoongi turned to face him. And god they truly were extremely close. It was easier to ignore when he was lying on his back, but now? Jungkook could feel warm breaths against his face. Yoongi was so close Jungkook had a hard time focusing his vision on the other’s face. “I thought you said you already ate.” Yoongi muttered. “I did” Jungkook answered. Not a complete lie. “Alright. How much did you eat?” Jungkook wanted to lie. He shouldn’t be troubling Yoongi like this. But it was difficult to think of a good lie when everything floating around his brain was concentrated on the smell of the man lying next to him. “Half a piece of bread” Jungkook mumbled. He watched as Yoongi closed his eyes and rubbed his face with his hands. His beautiful hands. Jesus, Jungkook really needed to get a grip. This was his teacher, he had a boyfriend, Jungkook was probably just attention starved. Yoongi got out of bed and Jungkook wasn’t sure what to do. Was he angry? What was going on? He heard Yoongi walking around the apartment and then the door opening and closing. Damn, he left. Should Jungkook leave too? Was he not welcome anymore? Jungkook decided to just stay put. Yoongi could tell him to leave if he didn’t want him here when he got back. Hopefully Jungkook could catch some sleep in the meantime. 20 minutes passed, give or take, before Yoongi returned. Jungkook had not managed to fall asleep. He did not come back to the bedroom though, not right away. Another 5-10 minutes until Yoongi walked back into the bedroom. He was carrying a tray in his hands. “Sit up” Yoongi murmured, placing the tray in Jungkook’s lap after he’d done so. There was a bowl of ramen and a glass of water on the tray. Yoongi handed him a pair of chopsticks, and Jungkook was just about to grab them when he remembered what Taehyung had said. “I shouldn’t eat this” Jungkook begun. “I’m already fat as it is. I don’t … I won’t die from not eating one night” “What the hell are you talking about?” Yoongi muttered, grabbing Jungkook’s hand and putting the chopsticks in them. Jungkook ignored them and continued talking. “I’m sorry” he whispered. “What are you sorry for?” Yoongi asked, eyes inquisitive, searching Jungkook’s for some kind of hidden truth. “I’m sorry I’m being such a bother. I’m nothing but a burden, an ugly, fat, disgusting burden. I’m sorry you have to look at me. E-even my fucking shirt is u-ugly.” Jungkook rambled, staring at the bowl of ramen. “Jungkook-ah. You’re not ugly. Okay? And you’re not fat. In fact, you’re so thin it’s frightening. Who told you this? Huh?” Jungkook looked up at Yoongi. “Did you hear that? You’re not ugly. Only a fool would think so.” Yoongi wrapped his arms around Jungkook, carefully avoiding the tray, to not spill the water or ramen. Jungkook leaned into the touch. It felt nice, because it was gentle and not rough like he was used to. “And your shirt is just a fucking shirt okay. What’s so ugly about it? I’ve seen shirts I’ve wanted to burn. This one is just a normal, plain t-shirt. Goes with everything.” Yoongi smiled as he pulled away. “And you better fucking eat that ramen. I know the noodles are soggy, but that’s your own damn fault for waiting so long to eat them. I walked to the convenience store at this hour to get them, you better not let them go to waste.” Jungkook nodded. Yoongi had gone through the trouble of getting them for him, he should probably eat it. Jungkook wasn’t sure he believed Yoongi though. Taehyung was his boyfriend. Jungkook trusted him. If Taehyung said he was fat and ugly, he most likely was. But Yoongi was nice. Even if he was a liar! Chapter End Notes I'm not quite sure what to say. I can't believe this is more than 7000 words, what the hell did I put in this? The future chapters may vary in length and all of them will contain sex. Just putting that out there. (I also suck at writing sex so yay me). Also chapter 4, if you stick around that long, will contain no pain. I think. Not much anyway. Mostly fluff that chapter. (I haven't written it yet though, so I may have to come back and edit this later.) If you have any questions or comments they are all appreciated. (Because I'm an attention hoe and I crave praise.) ***** Chapter 2 ***** Chapter Notes *knock knock* ("Who's there?") "N-no one. I mean ... uh ... yes someone. It's, uh, me ... Satan" ("Satan who? I don't know anyone by the name of Satan. I think you're at the wrong place") "No, no. I was here a few months ago. Don't you remember me?" ("Oh, THAT Satan. You're late") *nervous chuckling" "Late?" See the end of the chapter for more notes When Jungkook woke up the next morning he was pressed up against the wall, Yoongi’s arm around his waist and a leg between his. It must’ve happened while they were sleeping and now Jungkook wasn’t sure what to do. His own hand was resting on Yoongi’s chest, Jungkook’s face buried in Yoongi’s neck. There was no way he was getting out of here without waking Yoongi up and the last thing Jungkook wanted was for Yoongi to realize what position they were in. This was hardly appropriate, even though they do not have any control of their own actions when sleeping. Yoongi was Jungkook’s teacher, and even if he wasn’t their age difference was too big to be okay. How old was Yoongi anyway? He didn’t look very old. 23-24 maybe. Is that too young to be a teacher? 25 perhaps. That’s almost a decade older than Jungkook, and here they are in a position that could be interpreted as ‘intimate embrace’. Jungkook really wanted to be disgusted by that fact. That’s the normal response, right? When you find yourself in bed with a man a lot older than you, who also happens to be your teacher you’re supposed to be grossed out. Right? So why didn’t Jungkook want to move? Why did it feel so good to be this close to Yoongi? Hopefully it was just because Taehyung had denied Jungkook cuddles yesterday, and Jungkook was a cuddly person. He’d much rather cuddle with Taehyung than with Yoongi though. Of course … If only it didn’t feel this good. Maybe if Jungkook could get Yoongi’s arm away from his waist he could crawl over him without waking him up. That sounded like a good plan. Now Jungkook just needed to implement it. Which he was going to do … very, very soon. Any second now. He just wanted to feel the warmth radiating off Yoongi for a little while longer. Jungkook was ready. But Yoongi was apparently not. When Jungkook grabbed Yoongi’s arm to move it away, Yoongi groaned in his sleep and gripped tighter, moving his leg up between Jungkook’s until his thigh was pressed against Jungkook’s crotch. Jungkook would never have pegged Yoongi for a cuddler, but apparently in his unconscious state, the older lost all inhibitions. But when Yoongi wrapped both his arms around Jungkook’s waist and pulled him so close that Jungkook’s nose and lips was pressed against Yoongi’s throat, it was a bit too much. What did Yoongi think he was? A pillow, or stuffed animal? He was a human. And not just any human, a very real, male, teenager. And that meant erections was a very real fear because they were ready to attack at any moment no matter how inconvenient they may be. Especially when said male teenager has another human’s thigh pressed against his dick. Oh god, Jungkook needed to get out of here before the situation turned worse. Getting out meant accepting that he had to wake the source of all his problems from his sleep, or Jungkook wouldn’t stand a chance. Jungkook moved his hand up Yoongi’s chest to his shoulder, shaking it to wake him up. He received a grunt in response and a nose nuzzling into his hair. But it didn’t make Yoongi wake up. “Yoongi-hyung” Jungkook tried, tugging a bit at the strands of hair at the back of Yoongi’s neck. Yoongi mumbled incoherently between yawns and Jungkook took that as a sign that he was finally returning to the land of the living. After two more calls of his name Yoongi seemed coherent enough to understand what was going on. “Jungkookie?” Yoongi asked, quickly followed by a, “Shit, sorry.” And finally, Yoongi retracted his arms and leg. Yoongi stood up from the bed and stared down at Jungkook. After a while of neither of them moving Yoongi spoke up. “Well, this is awkward.” “Yup”. “How’s your …” Yoongi motioned towards Jungkook’s legs. “… pain?” he settled on. “Eh” Jungkook wasn’t sure. He’d been rather distracted for the past 10 minutes. Jungkook tried sitting up, and yeah, it hurt like hell. But thankfully not quite as bad as last night. “Still hurts I guess. But a bit better.” “Right” Yoongi nodded. “You want breakfast? I bought cereal yesterday too. Figured you might be hungry in the morning.” Jungkook was a bit shocked to be honest. He hadn’t expected Yoongi to be that nice. Not that he thought he was mean or something, but Jungkook was just a kid from school that Yoongi had met once before. He should probably voice his gratefulness. “That’s really thoughtful of you. I’d love some breakfast.” Damn, he sounded extremely polite, like the ‘I’m unsure of what to say, but I’ve been raised right’ kind of polite, that doesn’t actually mean anything. But Yoongi only chuckled and helped Jungkook out of bed. Jungkook still walked with a slight limp, but if he focused really hard, he could almost pretend that he was fine. Yoongi didn’t have anywhere they could sit down, so Jungkook stood leaning against the counter, eating his breakfast. Yoongi didn’t eat anything, he just drank his coffee, eyes closed, still looking half asleep. After a while of comfortable silence Yoongi spoke up. “You can take a shower if you want to. I probably have a few clothes that could fit you, if you want to borrow them.” He opened his eyes and looked at Jungkook. Jungkook felt torn, he really didn’t want to be any more of a bother than he already was, but he also really wanted to get out of these pants and wash away the cum from his skin. It was uncomfortable and only served as a reminder of what a complete failure he’d been yesterday. So eventually he nodded and walked over to the sink to wash the dishes. “Leave it, I’ll take care of it later.” Yoongi stated and Jungkook wanted to argue but he was too tired to so he just left them there. “I have plans to meet up with a friend of mine soon. I don’t know how long it’ll take, but feel free to borrow my computer and there is some more ramen if you become hungry. I presume you know how to make it.” “Ok. Thank you hyung.” Jungkook said. Yoongi stilled and turned his gaze to Jungkook again, and the younger could feel himself blushing. But then Yoongi smiled and put his coffee cup down. “Come on. I’ll give you some clothes.” Yoongi started walking back towards the bedroom and Jungkook was quick to follow. “The pants might be a bit short on your legs … wait, I think I’ve spotted a pair of my old roommate’s sweatpants here.” Yoongi dug through a pile of clothes in the corner of the room. “Huh, must’ve brought them along by mistake.” He turned around to face Jungkook, the sweatpants and a t-shirt in his hands. “I promise they’re clean.” He said as he handed the clothes to Jungkook, who gratefully accepted them. After that they didn’t say much. Jungkook went to take a shower, he had to peel the jeans off his skin, but Jungkook felt relieved once they were finally off. He should’ve insisted on cleaning up at Taehyung’s apartment, before this happened. Even if it meant pissing him off. The cum was a bitch to wash away, having long since dried on his skin. He had to scrub quite harshly and the area around his butt hurt, but Jungkook simply bit down on his lip and continued until he was clean. He felt a lot better when he stepped out of the shower 20 minutes later. He put on the clothes Yoongi had allowed him to borrow, and although they were comfortable, it still felt a little bit weird wearing another person’s clothing. Especially the sweatpants. They were quite loose, and he felt bad about not wearing any underwear. But there wasn’t really anything he could do about that, so he folded his own clothes before leaving the bathroom. Yoongi had already left to go meet with his friend and that meant Jungkook was alone in the apartment. He decided to text Taehyung and ask if he could go pick up his jacket. Jungkook didn’t want to show up unannounced, Taehyung probably wouldn’t appreciate it if he did that. So Jungkook grabbed his phone from his bag and began typing out a message.   To TaeBae<3 Hey, Hyung. Forgot my jacket at ur place last night. Mind if I come n pick it up 2day?   Jungkook didn’t expect a response for another two-three hours or so, Taehyung had always been a slow texter, so Jungkook put his phone down and went back to bed. There wasn’t really that much he could do. He didn’t have any social media on his phone, he’d never really understood why everybody liked it so much. And besides his charger was in his apartment, and if his phone ran out of battery, he wouldn’t get Taehyung’s response. Yoongi had said he could borrow his computer, but Jungkook was reluctant to do so. He was already bothering Yoongi with everything else, and there was a slight possibility that Yoongi had only offered to be polite. So Jungkook better not. And he was always tired anyway, so he might as well get a few more hours of sleep now that he had the chance. Jungkook felt exhausted, but despite the comfortable bed and his tired mind, sleep just didn’t want to come to him. The pain wasn’t extremely noticeable as long as he didn’t move, so it wasn’t that either. But he felt … empty inside. Like the happenings of yesterday had drained him and now he was just a shell of a human being. Jungkook wasn’t sure if he believed in souls, but if he had one, that’s where the exhaustion sat, not in his limbs.   Jungkook startled awake when the apartment door slammed shut. Yoongi was home, and Jungkook would’ve gotten up to talk to him, but he could hear Yoongi speaking to someone else, so he decided to stay in bed for now. Yoongi and that other dude seemed to be making their way across the apartment, and Jungkook was almost 100% percent certain he heard them grunting. When the bedroom door opened Jungkook quickly shut his eyes, pretending to be asleep. He wasn’t sure what Yoongi and his friend were doing, but he also wasn’t sure if he wanted to know. “Yoongi, who’s this?” The other voice said. At least whoever it was, was speaking quietly. It wasn’t necessary since Jungkook wasn’t actually asleep, but Jungkook appreciated the thought. “Ah. This is one of my students.” Yoongi said. There was silence for a while that Jungkook didn’t know how to interpret. “Yoongi” the voice said, quickly followed by a sigh. He sounded disappointed. “What? Jeez hyung. Of course it’s not like that.” Yoongi answered. He seemed flustered, if one can tell that kind of thing simply based on their voice. “No?” Yoongi’s hyung asked. “Of course not.” Yoongi sighed as well. “He lives across the hall and he’d forgotten his keys somewhere last night. Was I just supposed to leave him out in the hallway?” “No, I suppose you shouldn’t have done that.” “Seokjin-hyung” Yoongi’s voice was even lower than before. “When I found him in the hallway yesterday, he was hurt.” “What?” “Yeah. I don’t know where or how badly he was hurt. But he could barely walk. He almost cried just from sitting down. And … I know he lied about how he got hurt.” “You think someone did it to him?” “I don’t know. Maybe?” Yoongi sounded sad and unsure. “I don’t know what to do hyung. He said he lives alone, you know. That his parents moved back to their hometown without him. As far as I know, he has no adults in his life, and what if someone really is hurting him?” Jungkook felt bad. He didn’t want to worry Yoongi, and yet it seemed like he did. What if Yoongi felt some sort of responsibility towards him because he doesn’t have anyone else. Poor Yoongi, Jungkook should’ve never come here. “I honestly don’t know what you can do Yoongi. Maybe just be there for him. Look out for him and make sure he doesn’t get more hurt. And try talking to him, perhaps this is all one big misunderstanding and we’re both overreacting.” He could hear footsteps coming closer, until someone was standing right next to the bed, looking down on him. It took every ounce of self-control not to startle when fingers brushed his bangs out of his face. “Though I can’t say I understand how anyone could hurt this. He looks so small and cute. Tell me, does he have a terribly personality?” It was that other dude. Seokjin? “I can’t say I know him well enough to determine that. But he seemed polite I guess. Very shy though.” Seokjin stepped back from the bed. “Hopefully we’re wrong about this.” He said. “But hey, Yoongi. You know that even if we aren’t you can always call me if you need something. We might not live with each other anymore but I’m still your best friend.” There was a pause and Jungkook chanced a glance at what was going on. Seokjin was embracing a rather unresponsive Yoongi, but the tilt of Yoongi’s head in Seokjin’s direction told Jungkook that he was reciprocating the hug in his own way.  Jungkook quickly closed his eyes when Seokjin pulled back. “I need to get going now. Good luck” After that there was only silence. Aside from the door closing that is, and Jungkook was just about to open his eyes when the bed dipped under someone’s weight. Shit, Yoongi hadn’t left the room. A hand stroked his hair, reminiscent of the way Seokjin had moved his bangs out of his face earlier. He could feel Yoongi get closer, his breath fanning across Jungkook’s face. “I truly hope no one is hurting you, little one.” Yoongi leaned his forehead against Jungkook’s for a few seconds before he stood up and left the room. When Jungkook heard the door closing he opened his eyes. His heart was pounding erratically inside his chest and though he felt kind of bad for listening in on someone else’s conversation, Yoongi’s affection made him kind of giddy. He wasn’t used to people caring, and maybe he was selfish, but he really didn’t want it to stop. Now the only question remaining was, how long should he pretend to be asleep for? Once he calmed down a bit he noticed what Yoongi and that Seokjin guy had been doing. At the floor by the foot of the bed a TV was standing. It didn’t look extremely old, but it definitely wasn’t one of the newer models that’s for sure. Jungkook sat up slowly, wincing a bit but otherwise ok. He was just planning on sitting there for a few minutes. Five maybe? Was that enough? It turned out, he didn’t have to decide anything. Some three minutes later Yoongi walked back into the room, startling when he saw Jungkook sitting up. “Oh, you’re awake.” Jungkook nodded in response. “Why were you crying? Did you have a bad dream or something?” Yoongi asked as he stepped further into the room. Voice as soft as Yoongi’s voice probably could become. Jungkook tilted his head to the side. “Crying?” He cupped his face in one hand and his cheek was indeed a bit damp. Oh god, why does he keep embarrassing himself? He was truly useless. “I’m not sure, I didn’t even realize that I was crying. Sorry” Jungkook looked away from Yoongi. “No need to apologize.” Yoongi walked over, hesitating a bit before sitting down next to Jungkook on the bed. “I actually wanted to talk to you. If that’s ok” Jungkook nodded in response, feeling a sense of dread since he could guess were this was going. “I just wanted to ask if you’re alright.” Yoongi reached out and patted Jungkook’s knee. It took a little while for Jungkook to answer. Was he alright? He’s reminded of what he felt right before falling asleep. Maybe that’s what made him cry. “You know how you spend your days imagining the perfect life. Maybe it’s in the future or in an alternate reality, where people love you. You have your dream job, friends, family, a lover and money. Everything is perfect. Then you’re left alone for too long. And that loneliness you feel, it brings all your self- hatred and self-pitying to the surface. You were already feeling lonely, but now you’re hit with all your insecurities at once. You’re torn between wanting to curl up in bed and cry all day or finding some people that can make you feel better, however fake their reassurances might be. That perfect fantasy you spend your days thinking of starts to crumble and now you have to face reality again and it hurts. It hurts so fucking bad. It’s not because your life is bad. It is just not good enough. Then you hate yourself some more because you’re too greedy for something you can never have.” He glanced at Yoongi who was frowning. That wasn’t good, he really needed to learn when to keep his mouth shut. Jungkook took Yoongi’s hand and intertwined their fingers. “Don’t worry hyung. I’m a bit of a drama queen.” Jungkook smiled faintly. “And I know you think someone hurt me. But I did this to myself so there is no need for you to feel bad about it.” He gestured towards his lower half and Yoongi nodded, seeming unsure of what to say. Eventually Yoongi let out a resigned sigh, shoulders slumping together slightly before he straightened out again, smiling brightly at Jungkook. “The friend who helped me with the TV also brought some lunch. He’s a really good cook and it would be good for you to eat something, so why don’t we go and do that.” It wasn’t exactly a question, but Jungkook didn’t mind. Anything that would bring him away from this awkwardness.   After they’d eaten (Yoongi hadn’t lied, the food tasted delicious), they settled down in bed. Yoongi had brought his laptop and they’d decided to watch anime. It surprised Jungkook, how easily he became so comfortable around Yoongi. They met for the first time yesterday, and still it didn’t feel strange at all to sit side by side on Yoongi’s bed, passing a bowl of crisps between them. It came to a point where Jungkook almost forgot that Yoongi was his teacher. At the moment, it felt like they were friends. So when Jungkook leaned his head on Yoongi’s shoulder a few hours later, he didn’t even think twice about how that was a bit strange.     When Jungkook woke up it was dark inside the room. The last thing he remembers is watching Black Butler and arguing with Yoongi if Ciel or Sebastian was the best character. Jungkook firmly believed that Sebastian was the awesomest. He was a demon and had powers and was generally extremely cool (and kind of hot. If anime characters could be hot. Jungkook didn’t mention this opinion of his to Yoongi). Yoongi however, thought that Ciel was, “the most adorable little child ever. Look at those cheeks, I want to squish them”. To which Jungkook had answered, “Gross, I didn’t know you were a pedophile hyung.” Yoongi had given him a questioning and confused look. “What? I just said that … oh god, not thosecheeks Jungkook. Jeez, what are you? 17? Why are you so dirty minded?” Jungkook begrudgingly admitted to himself that the blush that spread across Yoongi’s face was the prettiest and though he was loyal to Taehyung, it was very difficult to stop these thoughts from invading his mind. Oh how he hated himself. “16” “What?” Yoongi asked. “I’m 16 years old” “Oh” A look had flashed across the older man’s face, but it was gone so quickly that Jungkook didn’t have a chance to decipher it. After that they’d simply gone back to watching, but now neither the computer nor Yoongi was in the room anymore. He must’ve fallen asleep in the middle of watching. He looked around a bit until he found his phone where he’d put it earlier.   From TaeBae<3 You can’t come today. Am having friends over. Don’t want you to embarrass me. Come tomorrow.   Jungkook would be lying if he said he wasn’t a bit disappointed. He wasn’t sure why though. Was it because he wouldn’t get to see his boyfriend today, or because his boyfriend didn’t want his friends to meet him. Because he was embarrassing. Maybe the words stung so much because Jungkook knew deep down that they were true. Had he dated himself he wouldn’t have wanted to introduce himself to his friends either. If he had any friends that is. Jimin still hadn’t answered his text.   Jungkook got up from the bed and limped out the room in search of Yoongi. He’d rather not be left alone for too long at the moment, and thankfully, due to the small size of the apartment it didn’t take long for Jungkook to find his teacher. He was standing in the kitchen, making a sandwich for himself. “Oh, you’re up” Yoongi stated when he heard Jungkook enter. Yoongi looked up from his sandwich. “Do you always sleep so much? I mean, I thought I was bad, but man, you’re on a completely different level.” Jungkook’s gaze dropped to the floor. “Sorry” He mumbled. “No, don’t apologize” Yoongi quickly answered, taking a step in Jungkook’s direction. “I didn’t mean anything bad by it. I was just joking, if you’re sleeping a lot it’s probably because you need it.” Jungkook nodded. He thought he should probably tell Yoongi that he couldn’t get his keys back today, and though he really hated himself for staying in Yoongi’s home, he kind of hoped he’d get to stay another night. The floor in the hallway outside was very cold and hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. He hesitated a little while longer before he finally mustered up the courage to tell Yoongi the truth. “I … uh. I forgot my jacket at my boyfriend’s place last night.” He said quietly, looking at Yoongi’s face for any reaction. He knew there was a very real possibility that Yoongi was a homophobe and would throw him out for even mentioning being in a same-sex relationship. Yoongi gulped. “Ok?” He asked, trying his best to keep his voice level. “Yeah, my keys were in that jacket. I texted him today to see if I could pick it up, but he’s having friends over, so he didn’t want me to come until tomorrow.” “Why does it matter if his friends are there?” Yoongi asked, eyebrows furrowed. “If you just picked it up quickly you probably wouldn’t disturb them.” Jungkook’s heart clenched. “He’s afraid that I’ll embarrass him.” Jungkook whispered. “I can’t say that I blame him.” “What?” Yoongi asked, voice suddenly cold and face unreadable. Jungkook took a step back. “He’s your boyfriend. Why would he be embarrassed of you? If that’s how he treats you, you should dump him. Because in that case he doesn’t deserve you.” Something within Jungkook badly wishes for what Yoongi just said to be true. But at the same time he knows that Taehyung wouldn’t be doing what he did if Jungkook hadn’t done anything to deserve that treatment. “Taehyung isn’t a bad person. I’ve been in love with him for ages, I’m not just going to dump him because he’s telling the truth.” Jungkook turned his gaze away from Yoongi. “Anyway, I just told you this because I was wondering if it’s okay if I stay another night. I completely understand if it’s not though, so don’t feel pressured to say yes.” “Of course it’s ok if you stay another night.” Jungkook nodded. “But Jungkook, Tae …” “Let’s just not talk about it anymore ok?” Jungkook interrupted. “We obviously have differing opinions and I’m really not in the mood to fight with you right now”. Yoongi sighed and nodded, taking a bite from his sandwich. They kept silent after that. The minutes ticking by faster than Jungkook would’ve expected considering they weren’t doing anything. It was already pretty late at night, Jungkook must’ve been sleeping for quite a long time. The only time Yoongi spoke again was when he offered a sandwich to Jungkook, which the younger gratefully accepted. He felt as if though he’d eaten a lot today, which he simultaneously felt happy and guilty about. On the one hand he was always hungry, and with his budget he rarely ate a lot. But on the other, not only was he eating Yoongi’s food and invading his space without paying or doing anything in return. And also, according to Taehyung, Jungkook was becoming chubby, he could almost feel himself getting fatter with every bite he took. This was something he never thought about before, but perhaps that was evidence enough that what Taehyung said was true. Yoongi sat with his computer for quite a long while and at first Jungkook did nothing, but then he grew bored and there’s still some awkward tension in the air since their previous conversation, so Jungkook excused himself and went to bed. It’s almost 11 pm, which isn’t necessarily that late, but late enough that he normally would be grateful if he was finished with all his homework and housework by this time and would’ve normally loved being able to sleep. But today he’d slept pretty much all day long and he wasn’t the least bit tired. But perhaps if he just lay still with his eyes closed he might fall into slumber anyway. Jungkook wasn’t sure how long time had passed when Yoongi entered the room, but it felt like hours. Yoongi was quiet as he made his way over to the bed, and Jungkook could feel the way the bed dipped under the added weight when Yoongi slipped under the covers. Yoongi moved around for a little while before finally settling down and it wasn’t long after that, when Jungkook heard his breathing evening out. Jungkook opened his eyes to look at Yoongi, struck with how beautiful the older man appeared in the dim lighting of the room. He looked almost innocent, very different from the scowling face Jungkook’s used to seeing. It took Jungkook a ridiculous amount of time to fall asleep. It wasn’t that strange due to the circumstances, but because of it he was actually awake for when Yoongi started to become cuddly. At least now he was certain that he hadn’t been the one to cling to Yoongi the other night, but it was still slightly uncomfortable, and weird to experience someone slowly creeping towards you. It started slowly, Yoongi simply turning on his side to face Jungkook. It was clear he was doing it unconsciously, so there was no way for him to still be awake. His arms stretching out were next. Stretching and managing to grab onto a pillow which he dragged close to his chest, burrowing into it. Jungkook smiled. The older man looked cute as he snuggled the pillow. Like a little child with a teddy bear. He simply watched for a while, remembering how Yoongi’s arms had felt around him this morning. He wished he hadn’t panicked as much as he did, because then he might’ve enjoyed it. However, there was little he could do about that now, so Jungkook just admired the sight of the adorable man next to him. He thought to himself that he could spend hours like this, quietly watching the other man as he slept. But as time passed and Jungkook still hadn’t managed to fall asleep, the teenager realized that he was bored. He wasn’t the least bit tired and it’d gotten to the stage of boredom where he was jealous of a pillow, because at least the pillow got to cuddle with Yoongi. As soon as an idea made its way into Jungkook’s head he knew it was a bad one. He knew he definitely shouldn’t and yet he did anyway. Removing the pillow Yoongi was clutching carefully, he slid himself closer to Yoongi’s now empty, searching hands. When one of the teacher’s hands finally caught hold of Jungkook’s shirt he could feel as it tugged a bit. Not strong enough to actually move Jungkook, but he decided to play along and slid closer to Yoongi of his own volition. He knew he was probably going to regret this, but when Yoongi let go of his shirt and slipped his arms around Jungkook’s waist, sighing happily into the younger man’s chest, Jungkook couldn’t help but smile triumphantly. He’d convinced himself that the tiny crush he’d had on Yoongi before he started dating Taehyung was long gone, but seeing his teacher the way he was now, all tiny and warm in his embrace, he realized that, that might not be entirely true. He shook the thoughts away though, he couldn’t afford to think about that now, or ever really. Even if he wasn’t Tae’s boyfriend, Yoongi was still his teacher and most likely straight.   Jungkook woke up to a weight moving on top of him. As he blinked his eyes open he saw Yoongi, struggling to detangle himself from the covers, until he finally managed to sit up, effectively straddling Jungkook’s waist. The weight was gone a few seconds later though when Yoongi all but fell off the bed in order to get away from Jungkook. His teacher stood up and blushed furiously when he noticed that Jungkook was staring back at him. “I’m sorry for … ehm …” “Cuddling me?” Jungkook asked. Too tired to be ashamed. “Yeah that.” Yoongi said awkwardly shielding his face a bit from Jungkook’s view, desperately trying to hide his burning cheeks. “I usually don’t sleep with people, so I wasn’t really aware of that … uhm, habit of mine.” Jungkook nodded, feeling a bit guilty. It was after all he, who had made sure they were hugging each other all night. But he couldn’t very well tell Yoongi that so he just stood up. The soreness almost completely gone, thank god, the ache he still felt just a reminder of what’d happened when he moved too quickly or sat down too harshly. “I should probably get going.” Jungkook mumbled. “I don’t want to disturb you any longer than I already have.” He looked around for a bit until he spotted his own clothes peeking out from his bag in the corner of the room. He looked down at himself and at the outfit he’d borrowed. He really didn’t want to put those cum stained pants back on. “Eh, do you think I could wear these clothes a little while longer?” He asked tentatively. “I’ll wash and return them to you as soon as possible.” Yoongi nodded. His expression was back to his default blank face. Jungkook didn’t like that, he wanted to know what the other was thinking and feeling. “You want some breakfast before you leave?” Was all the older asked, to which Jungkook answered with a shake of his head. They parted with only a short good bye before Jungkook was out in the cold again, bag hanging as a heavy weight from one of his shoulders. The warmth he’d felt the previous day seeped out from him, making him go back to his sad and lonely normal self. The thought that he would probably see Yoongi very soon only comforting him a little. He was annoyed that he’d grown so attached to his teacher in such a short amount of time, but now all he could do was to try and forget it. It’s not like they could be friends anyway. That would be inappropriate.   Taehyung was still asleep when Jungkook got to the apartment. But thankfully the door was unlocked so Jungkook simply walked in to quickly grab his jacket and leave again. It was strange, normally he would jump at the chance to see his boyfriend but today he just wanted to get home. His jacket wasn’t difficult to find. It was hanging from a chair in the kitchen and Jungkook was about to turn around to get out when he noticed Taehyung’s bedroom door open. Thinking he should just check to see if Taehyung really was asleep before leaving Jungkook approached the door. Taehyung was still asleep, another man Jungkook recognized as one of Tae’s friends back at school, pressed tightly against him. Jungkook’s heart clenched and he tried to remind himself that it was possible to platonically sleep cuddle someone other than your significant other. He himself had done it the previous two nights with Yoongi. He couldn’t help but notice that the both of them were shirtless though. But that wasn’t too strange, right? People slept without shirts often. Maybe Jungkook was just jealous because he’d never shared a bed with Taehyung. That was probably it. The other guy stirred and Jungkook didn’t have the time to run away before his eyes opened and almost immediately locked with Jungkook’s own. Jungkook could’ve sworn he saw the other man smirk before pressing himself closer to Taehyung, the blanket sliding down a bit to reveal his complete nakedness underneath. Jungkook didn’t stick around to find out if what he’d seen was correct. He simply rushed out of the building, too much in a hurry to shrug on the jacket in his hands, clutching the fabric tightly as he tried to come up with reasons as to why it was normal to sleep naked with another man that was not your boyfriend. He didn’t see anything, he told himself. He decided he shouldn’t jump to conclusions, maybe this was just a huge misunderstanding. He only needed to ask Taehyung about it and everything would turn out fine. Jungkook was sure.   Despite what he’d told himself, Jungkook didn’t ask Taehyung about it. Instead he chose to ignore what he’d seen, convincing himself it had been nothing. He sat with Taehyung for lunch the following two days. The older had invited him to Monday morning and Jungkook’s heart had skipped a beat. He never ate with Taehyung usually, but perhaps since Jimin, Jungkook’s only friend had moved away Taehyung decided that Jungkook could sit with him instead. It was unusual for him to make these kinds of nice gestures so Jungkook accepted it with a happy heart. The first day at lunch he got to see that friend of Taehyung’s again. Minho, he said his name was. He kept touching Taehyung the entire lunch. A hand on Tae’s thigh, an arm around his shoulder, a nuzzle to his cheek after they’d laughed at a joke together. It annoyed Jungkook but he realized he had no right to interfere. He had been pretty touchy with Jimin too before he left, but it still hurt slightly when Taehyung shrugged off the hand Jungkook had placed on his arm. Again, Jungkook was almost certain he saw that Minho dude smirking. Was he doing this just to antagonize him? When Tuesday lunch rolled around he became convinced. Minho took it one step further by sitting on Tae’s lap half the lunch until Taehyung had to get up to fetch some more water. “Why don’t you ask Jungkook to do it?” Minho had questioned. “He is your boyfriend, isn’t he?” Taehyung had looked at Jungkook expectantly and Jungkook had hesitatingly stood up but before he had the chance to actually get some water, Taehyung had gently pushed Minho off his lap. “Aish, Jungkook hasn’t had a boyfriend before. He isn’t aware of anything he should do for his significant other. Don’t bother teaching him. He’ll probably never learn anyway”. Taehyung had laughed heartily at his own words, Minho joining in with a few others and Jungkook had blushed furiously. Silently berating himself for not getting up faster. When Taehyung left Minho leaned over. “Ah, I feel so sorry for Taehyung. Stuck with such an unfortunate boyfriend. You’re lucky he’s too nice to dump you. I wouldn’t have been able to stand being around you for so long.” Minho leaned back and glared at him, making Jungkook lower his head slightly. But Taehyung returned before the older could say anything else. When Minho wrapped an arm around Taehyung’s waist Jungkook decided he couldn’t take it anymore. “I need to get going.” He mumbled, Taehyung thankfully hearing him so he didn’t have to repeat himself. “I don’t want to be late for my next class.” Taehyung only waved him off and Jungkook tried his best to wipe away the tears slowly making their way down his cheeks as he walked. He wished Taehyung had nicer friends. He didn’t actually have any more classes that day. Nothing more than the music club which didn’t start until an hour later, so Jungkook locked himself in a bathroom stall and sat there playing games on his phone to make the time go faster. He arrived at the music classroom early, eager to compensate for how late he was the previous week. The tears had long since dried on his cheeks, but still, Jungkook was thankful when he realized the only ones in the classroom aside from himself were Yoongi and another student Jungkook hadn’t seen before. He was talking animatedly with Yoongi, smiling, cute dimples adorning his face. Perhaps it was the jealousy lingering within him since lunch that created the pang he felt inside his chest when he saw how happily Yoongi smiled at the student. How the student called Yoongi hyung. It was silly, that Jungkook knew. He’d barely known Yoongi for a few days and suddenly he wanted to be the only one Yoongi was nice to. He was acutely aware of how he wasn’t entitled to feel that way. He really didn’t mean to listen in on their conversation, but since they were the only ones talking in an otherwise quiet room, it couldn’t be helped. The student was asking Yoongi to please listen to a song he’d written. Something about a program that he’d tried out after Yoongi recommended it. Jungkook didn’t really understand much, but he gathered it had something to do with making music. Which wasn’t very strange considering Yoongi was a music teacher, after all. Jungkook wasn’t sure what to do, unsure if they’d even noticed his presence in the room. But slowly other students started to trickle in, and Jungkook was grateful. It was much easier to blend in this way. Yoongi sent the other student away with a smile, the student in question taking the seat next to Jungkook, and started the lesson. From what Jungkook gathered they were all in the middle of making their own songs or changing an already existing song by e.g. writing new lyrics or making a new mix of it, and five of the songs would be chosen to be performed by the end of the semester. Jungkook who was new to the club, didn’t have anyone to work with and felt a bit lost and confused. He wasn’t good enough to write a song by himself, but he also didn’t know anyone in here except maybe Hoseok, and he was already in a group of four, so it felt wrong for Jungkook to impose. “Hi, I’m Namjoon” The student sitting next to him said. Jungkook turned in his direction and saw the dimpled cutie that was talking to Yoongi earlier. “You’re new, right? I kind of noticed you weren’t in any group so I just assumed.” He said, voice growing quieter towards the end of the sentence. “Uh, yeah” Jungkook mumbled, cheeks filling with blood. Namjoon smiled, his dimples becoming more prominent. “Do you maybe wanna work with me?” he asked, voice hopeful. “I understand if you don’t though. I’ve already written most of the song and maybe you wanted to do that, or maybe you wanted to work with someone else or by yourself and that’s also totally fine.” He quickly added, waving his hands in front of him as he spoke, managing to push his own phone of his lap, were it had been resting and on to the floor. Seeing this the student threw himself after it and bringing the chair he’d been sitting on, as well as the chair standing next to him, down with him. They banged loudly as they hit the floor, making everyone in the room turn their eyes towards them. “Sorry” Namjoon apologized, blushing as he pushed the chairs back into a standing position. He turned back towards Jungkook again and Jungkook remembered that there was a question he was supposed to answer. “Isn’t there anyone else you’d rather work with?” Jungkook asked tentatively. He wasn’t exactly bullied, but he didn’t have that many friends. He was mostly just ignored all day so, for such an offer to come from someone he didn’t already know, was quite unusual. “Uhm … I” Namjoon began, but Yoongi who’d been making his way over when Namjoon had made the chairs fall to the floor, interrupted. “I see you’re still as clumsy as ever” Yoongi said, but there was a fond smile playing on his lips as he said it. When his gaze turned to Jungkook, Yoongi startled a bit, not noticing that his neighbor had been in the classroom all along. “Oh right. You said you were starting here.” Yoongi looked between Jungkook and Namjoon. “You working with Joonie?” Yoongi asked. “That’s good, you’ve been looking for someone to work with, right?” The question was pointed at Namjoon this time and Jungkook looked towards the other student. Namjoon blushed even harder and said. “No, we haven’t decided anything yet” “Oh” Yoongi frowned. “You should work with Joonie” he said to Jungkook. “He’s really good, your song is guaranteed to be great.” “Don’t say that” Namjoon hissed but Jungkook smiled gratefully. “I’d love to work with him. I was a bit worried that I’d have to make a song by myself, so this works out just fine.” Yoongi nodded satisfied, and left to help another student. Namjoon looked apologetic as he turned back to Jungkook. “I’m sorry about that. It’s ok if you don’t want to work with me, you don’t have to do it just because Mr. Min said so. He can be a bit intimidating but we’re allowed to choose groups for ourselves.” Jungkook tilted his head in curiosity. Was Namjoon nervous? He was so used to being the one who was insecure, that it felt weird to be on the other end. “I do want to work with you.” Jungkook smiled, hoping that he might make another friend today.   By the end of class Jungkook had realized that Namjoon was someone worthy of being worshipped. They hadn’t talked too much about it, but according to Namjoon, people didn’t like him very much. Jungkook couldn’t understand why for the life of him. Namjoon had played what he’d come up with so far on the song for Jungkook. Apparently Namjoon wanted to make a career in music producing and Yoongi had recommended a free program he could use online. “It isn’t perfect” he said. “I hope to one day earn enough money to buy a better one, and buy better recording equipment than I already have. But for now it’s enough.” He’d smiled shyly and Jungkook thought he might be a bit starstruck. Jungkook reached his hand forwards to rest over Namjoon’s and said, eyes wide and tone of voice serious, “I think you’re amazing” and Namjoon’s smile had grown until it took over his entire face. Jungkook found himself hoping that they’d become close friends.   Jungkook walked up the stairs to his apartment, a small smile tugging at his lips. Meeting Namjoon had brought his mood up significantly, he got along really well with the older student. Outside his apartment Yoongi was standing. Jungkook’s smile widened. “Hyung. I’ve washed your clothes. They’re inside” He said as greeting. The older man turned to look at him, surprise melting into fondness as he nodded and allowed the younger to step past him to open up the door. Yoongi followed Jungkook into the apartment, finding it to be very similar to his own. Jungkook walked straight to the bedroom so Yoongi followed, not really saying anything. The inside was a mess. Jungkook blushed when he had to shove a pair of dirty boxers under the bed, but Yoongi liked the room. It felt lived in, like any teenager’s room would look like. He saw a pile of papers on the desk standing in a corner of the room, and curious he walked closer to take a look. They were tiny paper squares, but before Yoongi could see what they were saying, Jungkook launched himself from across the room, his eyes comically wide and shouting “Noooo” as his hand came down on top of the pile to cover it up. “What the?” Yoongi asked, confused. “I can’t tell you.” Jungkook said, voice pained. “It’s my pile of shame” Yoongi just stared at him. A few seconds passed and then, “Ok. But promise you won’t judge me.” “I thought you said you wouldn’t tell me.” Yoongi asked. Sure he was a bit curious, but he didn’t need to know if Jungkook didn’t want to tell him. “I don’t know why” Jungkook started. “I can keep other people’s secrets really well, but my own just want to fly out of my mouth and I’m helpless to stop it.” He sighed dramatically and removed his hand from the pile. “I’ve written down the names of Nyongtory fanfictions I’m subscribed to on those.” He said, laughing nervously. “I have a system so that I can reread them regularly.” “What?” Yoongi asked. He wasn’t quite sure why Jungkook was telling him this. Jungkook laughed nervously. “Nyongtory. G Dragon and Seungri. They’re like … Gods. Especially G Dragon” Jungkook’s eyes closed and Yoongi was pretty sure he didn’t want to know what the younger was thinking about. “Ok” He said slowly, but when Jungkook didn’t snap out of it, Yoongi decided to change the subject. “But what about my clothes?” he asked. “Oh right” Jungkook was up on his feet again and walked over to an armchair standing in the corner and picked up a folded pile of clothes. When he handed them over to Yoongi, the older discreetly smelled them and was pleased to find them smelling nice and fresh. Jungkook looked as if thought he was about to say something when loud banging interrupted them. Jungkook startled and looked towards the door. They couldn’t see the door to the apartment from here, but it was clear that, that’s where the banging was coming from. “Jungkook?” a low voice asked, sounding slightly annoyed. “Shit” Jungkook muttered and turned to Yoongi. “Ehm, I’m sorry to have to ask this of you, but could you maybe hide in the closet?” “Excuse me?” Yoongi asked and stared in disbelief at Jungkook who looked stressed and apologetic. “That’s my boyfriend, and if he sees you here he’s going to get the wrong idea.” “We can just explain it to him then” Yoongi answered, not very keen on hiding in a closet. He was almost 30 years old for god’s sake. “Please” Jungkook pleaded, and after a few more seconds of debating, Yoongi relented and allowed himself to be led inside the closet. He felt silly, but he couldn’t stand the scared look on Jungkook’s face. Maybe now he’d also get to find out if Jungkook’s boyfriend was as huge of an asshole as Yoongi suspected he was. The closet was tiny and cramped, and the door wouldn’t close fully, but unless someone was looking for him, they wouldn’t be able to see him. Jungkook walked and opened the door, Taehyung not even greeting him before waltzing inside. “Took you long enough” he muttered and Jungkook blushed. He always felt as if though he’d done something wrong when he was around Taehyung. Taehyung went straight to Jungkook’s bedroom, despite the younger’s efforts to redirect him to the living room. “I was in the mood so I decided to come over.” Taehyung talked as he walked. “I know you don’t have a life so I didn’t think it necessary to ask beforehand.” Jungkook decided to ignore the insult, to stressed and panicked to pay too much attention to it. “In the mood?” He asked, slightly confused. “Yeah, I want to fuck” Taehyung answered, turning around to grab Jungkook by the arms. “Oh, I’m sorry, but I’m not in the mood right now.” Jungkook tried to convince Taehyung not to. Yoongi was right inside the closet, only a few meters away, there wasn’t a chance that Jungkook could have sex right now. “You want to dump me?” Taehyung frowned and the panic levels inside Jungkook rose. “No, no no. That’s not what I meant. I just don’t want to right now.” Jungkook tried to rectify things. But Taehyung only frowned harder. “If you don’t want me anymore, just say so and I’ll stop wasting my time on you.” Jungkook wanted to cry. This was not how things were supposed to go. “No, please Taehyung. That’s not what I meant.” “Then sleep with me. Even if you’re not in the mood, I am. Can’t you do this for me?” Jungkook cast one last worried glance towards the closet, before nodding slowly. He was going to die from embarrassment, but at least he’d still have Taehyung. Taehyung smirked at Jungkook’s answer and looked around the room for a bit. Picking up a pair of Jungkook’s used socks, lying on the floor, he turned to look at Jungkook again. “You were so loud last time. And I don’t feel like listening to you screaming. So I think we should gag you.” Jungkook really didn’t want to be gagged, but maybe it was for the better if he was, considering Yoongi probably didn’t want to listen to the sounds he made as Taehyung fucked him. Nodding again Taehyung’s smirk got bigger and he grabbed onto Jungkook’s jaw at the same time he said, “Open up.” Balling the socks, he shoved them into Jungkook’s mouth, and the younger resisted the urge to gag. They tasted like dirt and sweat, and it felt weird to have the fabric inside his mouth, without him being able to chew and swallow. Again he reminded himself that it was for the best. When Taehyung pushed his torso down on top of the table, Jungkook didn’t even bother to resist. It’d be over quicker if Taehyung just got his way. His shirt was ripped off and his pants and boxer briefs pushed down. The table was cold against his chest, and there were many things on the desk that dug into his skin uncomfortably. When his hips were pressed against the edge of the table he hissed. He didn’t have any time to complain though, as Taehyung pushed inside him mere seconds later. Jungkook wasn’t prepared at all, and the scream that ripped through him was only slightly muffled by the socks inside his mouth. Tears immediately started to run down his cheeks and Jungkook tried his best to hold on to the desk as Taehyung started to pound into him. On every thrust Jungkook could feel Taehyung’s belt buckle slap against his ass, and though it didn’t hurt nearly as much as the fucking itself did, the realization that Taehyung hadn’t even bothered to undress himself pained Jungkook. Taehyung didn’t hit that spot within him even once. Not even the slightest bit of pained pleasure was granted Jungkook this time, and when Taehyung finally finished within him, Jungkook sobbed in relief. He wasn’t sure how much more of this he could take. After Taehyung pulled out, Jungkook simply fell down to the floor, wincing as pain shot up his spine, but too tired to stand up. Taehyung sighed. “I seriously don’t understand what’s wrong with you.” Taehyung muttered and patted Jungkook awkwardly on the head. “Even Jimin was better than you.” “Jimin?” Jungkook tried to ask, but no sound came out since the socks were still pressing against his tongue. At the confused and hurt expression on Jungkook’s face Taehyung chuckled. “Oh Jungkook. You didn’t honestly think that you’d be enough to satisfy me did you? With how bad you are, it’s a wonder I haven’t dumped you yet.” Jungkook felt new tears well up in his eyes, wanting so badly to say that when Jimin left they hadn’t even had sex yet, so how could Taehyung know he was bad? But Taehyung simply turned around to walk out the door. Half way through the room he turned to Jungkook again. “Oh and, don’t bother sitting with me at lunch tomorrow. Minho told me what you said to him when I went to get some water today at lunch. I thought you would be able to behave, but apparently not.” Taehyung rolled his eyes. “Look, I get that you’re jealous, but that doesn’t give you the right to embarrass me in front of my friends.” With those words Taehyung left the room and Jungkook closed his eyes, not even bothering to pull the socks from his mouth. He hadn’t said anything to Minho at lunch.  Chapter End Notes I'm so sorry it took me so long to write this. I've just haven't felt inspired to write this I guess, but now I'm finished, thank god, with an even longer chapter than last time. (Though, not necessarily better). If you liked it please leave a comment. <3 ***** Chapter 3 ***** Chapter Summary Jungkook deals with the aftermath of Taehyung's visit. Chapter Notes So here's another chapter. Slightly shorter than normal. Managed to keep my promise to that one reader. I said I would upload on friday. Today is friday and I'm uploading, so yey me. Finally overcoming my laziness. (That's a lie. I'm still lazy) Anyway enjoy. (or try to. It's not very good) See the end of the chapter for more notes Jungkook was so caught up in his own pain that he didn’t even notice the closet door opening and Yoongi stumbling out. It wasn’t until the socks were ripped from his mouth and a warm hand cradled his face that Jungkook’s eyes startled open. Yoongi was looking at him, face hard and unreadable. “Jungkookie” He said quietly. Jungkook stared at him, not able to muster up the strength to respond. Yoongi grabbed a gentle hold of his arms and pulled his body hallway up his lap, so that Yoongi’s arm was around his waist, Jungkook’s face pressed into the other’s neck. “I’m so sorry” The older whispered. His entire body was shaking. If it was from anger, or sadness, or disgust, Jungkook didn’t know. “I should’ve stopped him. I’m so sorry.” Jungkook calmed down slightly listening to Yoongi’s heartbeat. He felt he should try and reassure the older that he hadn’t done anything wrong, but it could wait, Jungkook was way too tired to do anything right now. He just wanted to drift into sleep, here in Yoongi’s arms. But when Jungkook’s mind cleared a bit he remembered that he was still naked, and he still did have some shame left, so he scrambled to pull on his pants again but Yoongi stopped him. “We should get you cleaned up first and into a new pair of pants.” Yoongi carefully maneuvered Jungkook off his lap and stood up, reaching down to help Jungkook stand up as well. “Come on. I’ll help you.” Jungkook felt awkward as he followed Yoongi into the bathroom, Yoongi’s arm around his waist, Jungkook practically unable to walk on his own. Yoongi helped him sit down on a towel on the toilet before grabbing another towel and wetting it under lukewarm water. He turned back to Jungkook and began to methodically wipe away the cum from his thighs. Jungkook, though still slightly embarrassed, liked the fact that Yoongi was so calm about it. It felt less as if though Jungkook was bothering Yoongi and more like Yoongi knew exactly what to do to make it all better. When Yoongi was done with the front, he helped Jungkook stand up again so that he could turn around. “This might hurt a bit” Yoongi said and waited until Jungkook nodded his consent before bringing the towel to his butt and the back of his thighs. It did hurt. Jungkook was extremely sore, but it was nothing in comparison to what it had felt like before, and Jungkook was glad to get it off his skin. When Yoongi finished cleaning Jungkook up, they walked back into the bedroom, Yoongi helping Jungkook dress in comfortable clothing. “Come on” Yoongi said softly. “Why don’t you rest a bit.” Jungkook allowed Yoongi to lead him to the bed, and help tuck him in, but when he turned to leave Jungkook grabbed a hold of his hand. Yoongi looked at him just as Jungkook turned his gaze away in shame. “Can you stay?” He asked and Yoongi nodded. “Of course. I wasn’t going to leave, I was just going to get you some hot chocolate.” Yoongi said, stroking Jungkook’s hair back. “I don’t need hot chocolate.” Jungkook said, tugging at Yoongi’s hand. Yoongi nodded and when Jungkook moved the covers away, Yoongi slipped in beside him. Jungkook felt silly for reacting this strongly. He hadn’t last time, and yet he was grateful that Yoongi was here. Sometimes it felt nice to be taken care of, instead of having to care of one self. “Jungkook” Yoongi started, and Jungkook dreaded what would come next. “Was that your boyfriend? Taehyung?” Jungkook nodded. “You know that it wasn’t ok. What he did. You know that right?” Yoongi reached for Jungkook’s hand, interlacing their fingers. Jungkook didn’t say or do anything. “Jungkook. You can’t be in such a relationship. He’s hurting you. Please. You have to understand.” Yoongi’s voice was still calm, but there was an edge of desperation to it. Jungkook shook his head violently. “It’s my fault.” Jungkook whispered. Truthfully, he wasn’t sure if it was entirely, but he refused to believe that Taehyung would willingly hurt him. Intentionally hurt him. Rationally, Jungkook knew he was wrong about Taehyung, but he really didn’t want to admit it to himself. And dating Taehyung was worth all the bad stuff. “Jungkook it is not your fault.” Yoongi said, raising his voice. “He raped you” At this Jungkook startled. “He didn’t rape me. I consented. It’s me who is bad at sex.” Jungkook said. His cheeks burned with embarrassment, but he couldn’t allow Taehyung to be slandered like this. “Jungkook …” Yoongi sounded sad and maybe a bit scared, but Jungkook didn’t want to listen. He wasn’t going to break up with Taehyung just because of this. He loved Taehyung. Instead, Jungkook forced his way inside Yoongi’s embrace before the older could say anything else. Yoongi sighed but wrapped his arms around Jungkook’s shoulders anyway. “I just want you to be ok.” Yoongi whispered, and those words were the last ones Jungkook heard before falling asleep.   He woke up to someone petting his hair. At first he thought it was Yoongi, but after opening his eyes he startled. “Who are you?” he asked before he had a chance to look closer. He vaguely recognized the man as the one who had been to Yoongi’s apartment. “I’m Seokjin” the man said and smiled. “Yoongi had to make a call. To your school, to tell them that you won’t be attending for a few days. He asked me to stay here in case you woke up.” “What?” Jungkook was out of bed in a matter of seconds, but he didn’t get far before his legs gave out under him and he found himself faceplanting the floor. “Are you okay?” Seokjin shouted bending down next to him and stroking the back of his neck awkwardly. As if the situation couldn’t get any worse, Yoongi chose that moment to reenter the room. “Jungkook?” He said confusedly. “Oh my god. Jungkook? What happened?” Seokjin was in the process of helping him stand up again, the two older men startling when they saw the tears pooling in Jungkook’s eyes. “It hurts” He whined, feeling like a little child. Yoongi’s face fell and he hurried over to help Jungkook back into bed. “Then why did you get up silly.” He chastised, but his voice was devoid of any emotion, and Seokjin looked at him, gaze a bit worried. He’d heard a bit from Yoongi of what’d happened, and he could tell that neither of the younger men were handling it that well. “I have to go to school.” Jungkook mumbled. “No you don’t. Take a few days to rest, you can barely walk and the psychological effects, that … that might’ve caused, is reason enough to keep you away from him.” Yoongi said the word him, with venom and Jungkook couldn’t help but flinch. He didn’t want Yoongi to hate Taehyung. Sure he was physically hurt, but Jungkook can live with that. The only thing he had trouble forgiving Taehyung for was sleeping with Jimin. His suspicions about Minho grew as well, but it hurts a whole lot more because it was Jimin, his supposed best friend. Maybe that’s why he never answered his text. Maybe Jimin felt guilty. Jungkook hoped so. Jimin should feel guilty. The hurt within him was a black hole, if the hurt he’s feeling physically was a burning sun. If Jimin felt even a little bit of that. Jungkook took his mind of the topic. He wasn’t in the mood to feel even more sorry for himself than he already did. Instead he focused his gaze back on Yoongi, frustration growing within. He needed to go to school. He needed things to go back to normal. But Yoongi was looking back, face just as hard, gaze just as unrelenting. And Jungkook found himself having to compromise. “One day.” Jungkook said. “One day, I’ll stay home, but on Thursday I go back to school.” Yoongi made a displeased noise, but Seokjin nodded along and agreed to the idea. Jungkook didn’t know the man, but he was grateful. Yoongi however, turned to glare at Seokjin instead. He looked as if though he wanted to argue, but Seokjin only raised an eyebrow and shook his head, and Yoongi closed his mouth that had opened as if to start speaking and crossed his arms, a sour expression adorning his face. “I have to get going now.” Seokjin smiled, and squeezed Yoongi’s shoulder in passing before waving to Jungkook and leaving. Yoongi’s frown melted away as soon as Seokjin left and he turned to Jungkook. “I’m sorry for inviting Seokjin over. I know I had no right to, but I needed some advice. I haven’t told him everything, and he won’t go talking to anybody else either.” Yoongi hung his head in shame, but Jungkook wasn’t angry. He didn’t know Seokjin, but he trusted Yoongi and if Yoongi trusted Seokjin. Well then, that’s all Jungkook needed to know. “It’s okay” He whispered. And Yoongi hid his face in his hands a few seconds before standing up. “I’ll go and make you something to eat.” Jungkook nodded and leaned his head back against the pillows. He was so conflicted about his emotions he didn’t know what to do. It felt worse this time than it did the first time he had sex with Taehyung. Maybe it was because he was more emotionally wounded, what with finding out that Taehyung had cheated on him. Maybe it was because it felt more rough, than it did the previous time, even if it technically wasn’t. He hadn’t been any more or less considerate this time, but perhaps it was the fact that Taehyung had showed up, only to fuck him and then leave. Last time they’d had a dinner before, talked a bit. Jungkook wanted to cry, but all the tears had left him. Yoongi walked on eggshells for the rest of the night. Jungkook found it terribly annoying, he wanted the older to treat him like he had before, but as time passed Jungkook figured out that maybe it was more than just witnessing Jungkook in pain that made the older so uncomfortable. “You know that you didn’t do anything wrong, right?” Jungkook finally asked him, after Yoongi avoided his gaze for the umpteenth time that night. “I did.” Yoongi seemed to find his hands the most interesting thing in the world. “I heard everything that went on, I even caught glimpses of it, and yet I did nothing.” Yoongi sighed and turned his eyes upwards, towards the ceiling instead. “At first I was unsure of what was going on. He was talking about gagging you and then I hear shuffling and you screamed. It took me a few seconds before I understood what he was doing, before I understood that you weren’t enjoying it. But when I finally did, I should’ve walked out of that closet and ripped him away from you. I’m so, so sorry, that I didn’t.” Jungkook took Yoongi’s hand in his. “The fact that you were here. The fact that you helped get me cleaned up and that you stayed with me when I was in pain. That helped me more than I think you could ever understand. I know that we have differing opinions about Taehyung, but you gave me comfort. And if you had interrupted us, then Taehyung would’ve dumped me. Because there simply is no explanation for you hiding in my closet that he would believe or accept. So thank you so much, for not coming out, and for staying to comfort me afterwards.” “Maybe I should’ve.” Yoongi said. “If it meant Taehyung would dump you, maybe I should’ve come out of that closet. Because you deserve someone so much better than Taehyung. You deserve someone who treats you right.”    Jungkook had to look away from Yoongi, because the urge to kiss him became too big. Someone who treated him right, that’s what Yoongi said. Yoongi treated him right. He offered up his home and bed, so that he could have a place to sleep, he gave him food and comforted him. Jungkook wished so badly that Yoongi hadn’t found him that day, because then his crush wouldn’t have grown and he wouldn’t have wanted to cheat on Taehyung. Taehyung, that guy Jungkook had wanted for the longest time, who agreed to date him. Yeah, that guy. But when Yoongi forced his face back up again, when Jungkook’s eyes meet Yoongi’s, Jungkook couldn’t help but think that Taehyung cheated on him first. Taehyung slept with his best friend Jimin, as well as that guy Minho and who knows how many others. His guilt was eating him alive and yet he still leaned forwards and pressed his lips against Yoongi’s. He’d only kissed Taehyung once, and that time Taehyung had wiped it away like it was the most disgusting thing he’d ever had to endure. Jungkook pressed his eyes shut in fear that he’d get the same treatment from Yoongi. Instead, he felt a hand tangle itself in Jungkook’s hair, Yoongi’s lips starting to move against his own. It was nice, and Jungkook’s guilt almost disappeared when Yoongi pulled him closer, clutching him like he was something precious, something he couldn’t afford to lose. But when they parted, Yoongi looked at him, first with something akin to wonder in his eyes, but then it grew into something darker, colder. “We can’t Jungkook.” Yoongi whispered, but his arm was still around Jungkook’s waist, his other hand stroking Jungkook’s hair instead of grasping it like he had earlier. “I’m your teacher. I’m 12 years older than you. We can’t” And Jungkook would probably have been surprised. 12 years, that would make Yoongi 28, older than Jungkook would’ve guessed. But he was too busy trying his best to pull Yoongi closer. He didn’t want to lose this. Rationally he knew that this was wrong. He was cheating on Taehyung, Yoongi was his teacher etc. But Yoongi gave him an intimacy Jungkook never felt with Taehyung. And he didn’t want to pass it up, not yet. Not ever. “And besides …” Yoongi moved Jungkook’s bangs out of his face. “Right now you’re vulnerable. You’ve been through a tough situation and I helped you through it. If we were to do anything together, especially at this moment, I would be taking advantage of you. And you’ve been taken advantage of enough to last a lifetime.” Jungkook’s heart sank at the words, but Yoongi still wasn’t letting him go, as if he wanted Jungkook to know that even if they couldn’t be together, that didn’t mean he didn’t want to. Or at least that’s what Jungkook hoped he meant. “I’m sorry” Jungkook couldn’t help but respond. “But I need you. Please” Yoongi took a shuddering breath. “Come one, you still need to rest. We’ll talk more some other time.” Jungkook knew that Yoongi was avoiding the conversation, but he didn’t have the energy to argue, so he just allowed Yoongi to help him back to the bedroom. It was in an unspoken agreement that Yoongi slipped under the covers along with him. They’d already slept in the same bed thrice before, but it felt as if though it’d been thousands of times, with how comfortable Jungkook immediately was. Jungkook, despite what had just transpired between them, felt no embarrassment, he simply curled up against Yoongi’s chest and allowed sleep to pull him in. He awoke briefly at some point in the early morning. If awake was even the right word to describe it. He was somewhat aware of what was going on around him, but it felt more like a dream than reality, and his eyes didn’t stay open for more than three seconds. It was Yoongi who was slipping out from bed, probably to get dressed and ready for work. Jungkook had the day off from school, but Yoongi was a teacher and couldn’t afford the same luxury. Though Jungkook’s eyes were closed, he could still hear as Yoongi walked around the room. Since it was Jungkook’s room he was probably just collecting his things to go and get ready in his own apartment. The footsteps stopped for a while right next to the bed, and if Jungkook wasn’t so tired maybe he’d wonder why, but as it was he paid it no mind. “Ah, fuck it” he heard someone mutter, before a set of lips were briefly pressed against his own. “Goodbye Jungkookie” Yoongi whispered and quickly left the room. If Jungkook hadn’t been awake earlier he certainly was now. Carefully he lifted his hand to graze his fingertips against his bottom lip. It felt silly and cliché to do so, but despite that the kiss had been nothing more than a peck, Jungkook still couldn’t help but feel all tingly because of it.   The rest of the day was spent anxiously waiting for school to end so that Yoongi could return home. After the initial happiness that Yoongi appeared to feel the same way as he did melted away, the guilt of what they’d done returned to Jungkook. He could no longer deny that he was in love with Yoongi. But he was also undeniably in love with Taehyung, and he had dated the latter for quite a while now. Even though Taehyung had cheated first, that didn’t give Jungkook the right to do the same. He had carelessly jeopardized their relationship and for what? He couldn’t have a relationship with Yoongi, no matter how good it made him feel. That fact had been established yesterday. So when Yoongi returned home from work, Jungkook was waiting outside the apartment for him. It had hurt like hell trying to move, but he couldn’t always rely on others. “What are you doing outside” Yoongi asked him as soon as he ascended the stairs. “Waiting for you” Jungkook mumbled his response. “Oh” For a while they stood there, staring at each other, not saying anything. It was by far the most awkward silence they’d had since they met. Yoongi opened his mouth as if to speak, and Jungkook hurried to say what he wanted to before Yoongi could let a sound out. If he didn’t let it all out now, Jungkook was unsure if he would ever be able to. “I’ve had a lot of time to think today” Yoongi closed his mouth. “It was wrong of me to kiss you yesterday, and for that I apologize. I’m dating Taehyung, and whether our relationship is a stable one or not doesn’t really matter. For as long as I’m dating him I shouldn’t even think about anyone else, regardless if he did so or not. That being said I cannot deny that I have feelings for you. Perhaps more than I have for Taehyung. The problems with our relationship is of course that I met you when I was vulnerable and that may influence the way I feel. More than that there is the big age difference and also the fact that you are my teacher. Now, if I were to base my conclusion entirely on my emotions, these factors wouldn’t impact my decision at all. It probably would yours though, since you have more to lose from dating one of your students. But I must admit had one of my friends started dating their teacher I would’ve been deeply disturbed. And for these reasons I will try my very hardest to stop feeling as strongly about you as I do right now. However, I sincerely hope you will remain as a friend at the very least, I don’t know if I could bear to lose anyone else.” At first, Jungkook didn’t dare look at Yoongi, and thus he simply stared at his hyung’s feet as the older made his way over to him. It wasn’t until Yoongi’s hand landed on his shoulder that he dared to glance upwards, only to immediately turn his gaze back to the floor. “That was a good choice Jungkook. We can’t be together even if it feels good. And besides we haven’t known each other for very long. Most likely what we’re feeling is just a result of experiencing a situation such as this one together. But if it makes you feel any better, I’m drawn to you to. Not that it matters.” Jungkook nodded and finally settled for simply staring at Yoongi’s chin. With his eyes at that angle he could still glimpse Yoongi’s eyes. Yoongi sighed and dropped his hand down to gently grasp Jungkook’s. “Have you decided what to do about Taehyung?” Jungkook shook his head, he was horribly conflicted. On the one hand, he had been in love with Taehyung for ages before they started dating. And now when they finally were, he felt like he could endure everything if it was for him. On the other, Jungkook wasn’t sure if he actually did still love Taehyung. Finding out that Taehyung had cheated on him might’ve been the last straw for Jungkook. All the other things he’d had to endure, had been worth it knowing that he finally had Taehyung. But even if Taehyung hadn’t cheated on him, Jungkook didn’t like how Taehyung made him feel. Like he was never enough. Yoongi pulled him into a tight hug. “It’s okay if you’re unsure. But Jungkook … he doesn’t treat you right. If he truly loved you, he wouldn’t be hurting you the way he’s doing. Okay?” Jungkook nodded against Yoongi’s shoulder, but didn’t reciprocate the hug. When Yoongi pulled back Jungkook smiled tentatively in his direction. “And of course we’ll remain friends. You can always come to me if you ever need any help.” It hurt slightly in Jungkook’s chest when he saw Yoongi walking away from him. Back to his own apartment. He didn’t doubt that he’d done the right thing, but that didn’t mean that he didn’t regret it.   He didn’t see Taehyung until lunch the day after. He wasn’t sitting with them like he had earlier that week, but he was still very aware of his presence. He was still very unsure of what to do, so he tried his best to eat as quickly as possible to minimize the risk of running into his older boyfriend. For once he actually found himself grateful for the fact that they were two years apart and thus didn’t share any classes together. That was something that had annoyed him immensely before, but then again, he hadn’t had this dilemma back then. He almost thought he’d gotten away unscathed, having finished his meal and was on the way out of the dining hall. He’d forgotten that he had to walk passed Taehyung’s table in order to get out. In his defense, he was a bit distracted. Namjoon was standing outside of the hall, by the doorway, waving at Jungkook. And the younger, who was excited at having made another friend, was quick to make his way over. It took a bit of time to walk though since he was limping pretty badly. He was half way there when he felt a sharp pain in his butt, quickly traveling upwards through his body, making him stumble and almost fall to the ground. Laughter broke out at the table right next to him. Jungkook turned to find Taehyung there, grinning widely. “I see you’re back.” He said, tone of voice slightly mocking. He probably understood why Jungkook hadn’t come to school yesterday. Jungkook was at a loss for words, temporarily forgetting the pain coursing through his lower body. Thankfully he didn’t have to answer, Namjoon at his side only a few seconds later. “Are you okay? Are these people bothering you?” He asked, his face worried as he grasped Jungkook’s wrist lightly. “I’m okay, don’t worry. And no, this is my boyfriend.” Jungkook barely had time to question the look of hurt and confusion that took over Namjoon’s face when Taehyung interrupted. “What are you doing here pig? Don’t you have anywhere else to destroy with your clumsy, fat feet?” Taehyung was practically snarling. “Huh? And what makes you think that you have any right to talk to my boyfriend? He shouldn’t be around scum like you.” “I’m sorry. I’ll …” Namjoon sent Jungkook a glance. “I’ll leave.” He turned around and walked away briskly, shoulders stiff. Looking at Namjoon’s retreating back, Jungkook could feel the anger rising within him. No wonder Namjoon had seemed hurt upon hearing that Jungkook was dating Taehyung, if this was the way Taehyung treated him. His boyfriend was nothing more than a bully, and for some reason, Taehyung hurting Jungkook, hadn’t bothered him as much as seeing him hurt his friend in that way. “Taehyung?” The older looked up at him. “Can I talk to you for a second”. Taehyung seemed to contemplate for a moment before he nodded. “But make it quick.” Taehyung rose from his seat and walked out of the dining hall, not taking into consideration that Jungkook couldn’t walk as fast as he did because of his limp. So Jungkook did his best to speed up so that he could catch up with the older. When they were finally alone in an area that wasn’t very crowded, the older turned towards Jungkook and raised an eyebrow. “I have something I need to admit.” Jungkook started. “After you left me, two days ago, I kissed someone else.” He could see the way Taehyung’s expression hardened, and hurried to continue so that he could finish what he had to say. “Normally I would never do such a thing, and I am terribly sorry that I did. But I don’t think our relationship is a very healthy one. I don’t like the way I feel when I’m around you. And I don’t like the fact that you cheated on me with my best friend. I know I have no right to complain about that now, but I just wanted to let you know that it hurt. When I found out about that. And the way you treated Namjoon right now, was not okay. Not just because he is my friend, but because it was so extremely mean and childish and frankly, that kind of behavior is unacceptable. I don’t think I want to date someone who treats other people the way you do.” “Are you breaking up with me?” Taehyung’s voice was low, almost threatening. “Yes” Taehyung stared at him for a few seconds longer before roughly pushing passed him, muttering a “whatever”. Jungkook felt strangely hollow, but he didn’t have time to dwell on these emotions, he needed to find Namjoon.   It took Jungkook 10-15 minutes before he finally found him. He was sitting on a bench outside of school, reading a book. Or at least he was trying to read a book, but Jungkook could see the way he was wiping at his eyes every few seconds. Jungkook approached quietly, unsure of how to start the conversation. “Are you okay?” He finally asked, the roles reversed form before. Namjoon looked up. “Ah yes. I’m sorry you had to see that. I didn’t want you to find out how much of a loser I am.” Namjoon smiled, but it wasn’t sincere. “You’re not a loser. And I broke up with Taehyung. He is an asshole, and you don’t deserve that kind of treatment.” After a minute of silence Jungkook tentatively added. “And I hope we can still be friends.” When Namjoon smiled again, genuine this time, Jungkook couldn’t help but throw his arms around the other man. Namjoon reciprocated the hug. “You didn’t have to break up with him because of me.” He whispered. “I was going to break up with him anyway.” And Jungkook was almost certain that he would’ve, his relationship to Taehyung hadn’t been very good for a long time.   As soon as he arrived home after school, he hurried up the stairs. But it was in front of Yoongi’s door that he stopped, not his own. After knocking twice and waiting for a little while Yoongi finally opened the door. He looked mildly surprised to see Jungkook standing there. He’d only had the door open for a few seconds when Jungkook spoke. “I broke up with Taehyung.” Chapter End Notes So like, I'm sick. I literally can't breathe and my head is pounding and I sneeze like once every minute. I hate my life. (Sorry, just needed to complain a little.) But how was this chapter? There is only one more left now. Hopefully. If I manage to tie it all together in the next part. Please drop_by_the_archive_and_comment to let the author know if you enjoyed their work!
