Sure there are a few things that can make it better but for the most part it's usually some of the worst years of our lives. And for Sanha, that may or may not be completely true. With peer pressure, experimenting, bullies, parties, crushes, and trying to manage good grades. Sanha will get to witness just how brutal High school can be, whether he is ready or not... Notes Sucky summery but keep reading if you love astro as much as I do, and feel like it's not enough astro fic in the world. Apologies to those not comfortable with the content in this fic but hey we can't please everyone in the world now can we? However I will be warning you in each chapter if there is something that might offend you. Also please excuse my lack of writing skills and terrible grammar since this isn't my first language. Please do let me know if you like it though and enjoy the first chapter.   With a grumbled groan, the orange blonde head teen finally managed to open his eyes -even if only for a mere moment-, the disruptive sound of his mother’s high pitched yelling being the very noise that woke him. The one thing Sanha hated the most was being disturbed mid dream, he could handle being woken most any time, but not when he was having such a nice meeting in his dream with mister caramel chocolate ice cream bar since he couldn't have it in reality due to his braces. The teen eventually pushed himself up to a sitting position after much procrastination, the annoying sound of his mother basically screaming this early in the morning not being a new thing to him but rather growing more and more annoying each time. Though this time it didn’t seem to last as long as usual with all her other boyfriends she could yell her way through the morning, missing Sanha slipping out to school on his own. ‘oh well’ Thought the teen as he rushed through his morning routine it wasn't that he didn't care it was just none of his business.   Luckily he got to take his sweet time when it came to breakfast, since his mother had woken him up so early, Sanha had decided to just enjoy his breakfast while it lasted before he’d have to head to his first day in high school. He’d been dreading it, each day that brought it closer he would imagine different ways it could all go wrong.   Of course Sanha was a good kid, grades pretty good, tons of friends despite being a total clutz sometimes, however this was in his middle school, heck he was the life of the party, and everyone loved him. But as most good things, that ended when his mother decided it was a good idea to move to where her recent boyfriend lived. To help everyone bond or so she claimed. The only thing this helped was effectively taking Sanha away from his whole life and friends, he’d had everything planned out perfectly (as perfect as a middle schooler could get). Him and his friends would all attend the same high school and then college and then eventually move into their first apartment, it all sounded so fun. All until his mother had announced one day that they would be moving. The orange blonde head cried for days when the move actually came around, even though the new house was spacious and he had his own room it was never the same without being able to have sleepovers with his best friends.   “Sanha ya, isn’t it a bit early for you to be woke?” Lifting his head from the bowl of rice sitting in front of him, the teen shook his head before shrugging in response as his words were muffled by the food in his mouth. “I couldn’t sleep, Eomma… So I just grabbed something to eat instead.” He replied still shoveling food into his mouth. “Aigoo! My baby is actually starting high school today.. Are you nervous?” Nervous was an understatement compared to how he felt this very moment, should he just joke around? or would they think he was weird for playing too much? so many of these questions racked his mind as he thought of how the new school would be. “Do you think they’ll like me Eomma?” That was when her new boyfriend cut in, "they'd have to be either blind or just plain stupid not to like you San." Maybe it was that fact that he basically spoiled the teen as well, but Sanha was starting to like this new boyfriend more and more. His mother simply nodded without a single ounce of hesitation as she reached to stroke the messy curls that was his hair. It was a wonder his mother even let him dye his hair this color at the age of fifteen, he never really thought too much of it since he figured she just wanted to spoil him since he was the youngest of her four boys.   Sanha’s other brothers had long since moved out, starting families if their own, so he was the last still living with his mother. After finishing his breakfast, Sanha grabbed his things before bidding the male a quick was before heading out into the car, the drive to the new school was surprisingly short, which only made the teen that much more nervous. Giving his mother a goodbyes with a swift kiss to her cheek, he was out the car walking up the stairs to his doom (as he liked to describe it) with his thousands of doubts and his fingers turning white as he gripped his book bag for dear life.   After getting his classes from the faculty office, the teen made his way down the hall, Sanha’s heart pounder his chest the closer he came to his first class, knowing he had to introduce himself to the class he’d be seeing for the next four years of his life was just too much of a large pressure, and it was starting to make him feel pretty nauseous. Shaking these feelings he slid the door open before peeking inside, only walking in when he was beckoned by the teacher. “everyone, this is Yoon Sanha. He will be attending this class from now on so welcome him and be nice. “ He could hear the whole class answer in unison before he bowed, soon opening his own mouth to introduce himself. "Annyeonghaseyo Yoon Sanha imnida from Seoul, hope we all can get along" Bowing his head, Sanha started scanning the class as they all greeted him back some sounding more forced but that was inevitable he thought. And for once since he’d walked through the door he gave them a wide tooth filled grin, forgetting for a moment about his braces clad teeth.   Nodding his head as the teacher instructed him to take a seat near someone named Minhyuk, the teen followed where the teacher he soon learned name was Mr. Ahn had pointed. Taking the empty seat next to a dark curly haired male who had some pretty pearly eyes and a jawline that could kill, not to mention his sharp cheekbones. Sanha didn’t know if he should try to speak now or wait until after class. Luckily for him, the other male leaned in with a hushed voice. “Hey, I’m Minhyuk but everyone else calls me Rocky. Feel free to do so too. The teachers and my parents are the only ones who actually call me Minhyuk. To this Sanha simply nodded with a smile that displayed his excitement that someone was actually talking to him.   With just that Sanha could tell maybe this wouldn’t be so bad after all. Things seemed to be looking up… at least so far.     To be continued Please drop_by_the_archive_and_comment to let the author know if you enjoyed their work!
