I'm absolutely in love with these precious babies. Sorry in advance if it's utter shit, but thanks for stopping by anyways! ♥ ***** Genesis ***** The intensity of depth in the complete absorption of hues faded into what seemed like infinite shades. Infinite shades of the vast, woeful sky. Each pigment cloaked the city's structures in dark shadow. It was the sheer emotion of lament; passionate grief. Mikaela could make out the so prominent bleakness of it all. Even with the addition of visually puny stars, the dark outweighed the miniscule amount of light. It was such an insignificant contrast, that if you didn't have the will to look above, the presence of stars would be the furthest from your mind. Mika couldn't help but to notice the dim spots that were splayed across concentrated sky. He full heartedly believed that if he were to bore his crimson eyes into each line of dots they'd become illuminated, shining much more potently than before. Of course the immense fixation of the sky was a diversion; something to distract the broad expanse of thoughts and heightened emotions the boy felt after turning. Inhales. The harsh air of winter nearly bruised the insides of his fragile lungs, but with every drop of oxygen was a bitter reminder of human life. In specifics himself, but no he'd be lying if he didn’t say the real reason his thoughts were so occupied was because of Yuu. As far as Mika recognized, he would be forever a filthy bloodsucker. Nothing changed that. Admittedly so, he was cursed with a horrific case of low self-esteem. But then there was Yuu so blessed with his human lifespan, his reckless mentality, and his heavy sense of naivety. Mika didn't know how to convey his conflicts for the human race, purely deceptive but just too real. It wasn't all hatred... mostly. At least there was Yuu to counteract the slightest bit of it. Without him humans would be on the same level of scum as vampires. And then there was thirst. Mika was utterly ashamed how Yuu was the designated lifeline, his personal blood bag. Just the thought of those words made Mika gag with self revulsion. Yuu was undoubtedly more than that, but when his blood lust possessed his very being there was virtually no distinction. Mika loathed at what he had become. Footsteps faltered, and nearly seized to a halt, before he sensed the abrupt slow of movement ahead of him. He was too wrapped up in his thoughts to pay attentive care to anything physical until now. "We should h-hurry up okay Mika? Mika!" the hoarse edge of Yuu's voice switched Mika's priorities, his eyes directing towards the unsettled boy. Yuu was clearly suffering in the weather, his delicate green eyes stricken with the awake frost of dropping temperatures. His hands grasped each end of his cape furiously cocooning his body. Making aware of the current amusement Mika teased, "Oh Yuu-chan are you cold?" Yuu's response was immediate, "No! I-I'm n-not cold you jerk-" A strong gust of freezing air battered Yuu as he stopped abruptly in snow ridden tracks. The sight of Yuu's flushed face mixed with his shivering frame made Mika choke down his instinctive laugh. He was too cute. "Are you sure Yuu-chan?" Mika nearly pounced on Yuu wrapping his arms around his waist and burying his head in his the crook of his neck. "Yuu-chan is this better?" Trapping the cape in his embrace, Mika held him close, inhaling his scent and catching the brash hue of red color in his skin. He thought it was his embarrassment, but it could have been just the cold. Or possibly both. Mika hummed on the harsh, black material of Yuu's uniform hoping that he would let his little taunt go. In all honesty Mika knew Yuu had to be especially cold as a human and the piercing winds weren't helping. Murmuring under his breath of white smoke, Yuu expressed his spur of the moment hatred, "I-Idiot." Displaying a cheeky smirk, Mika knew he was winning against Yuu. This he couldn't resist but to relish in, to be a tad bit smug about. Knowing the green eyed boy Mika decided not to say anything else, but that didn’t stop him from clinging for a spare moment. "Mika you're cold! Get off!" the predictable response was provoked in Yuichiro, alas time was up and he was brought back to his stubborn self. Mikaela wasn't ready to let it go practically voicing his hesitation in a slight tease of desperation, "Aren't I saving you from the wind?" Mika proved himself, working extra hard to block Yuu's body from the waves of thin air. His frame acted as a sturdy shield, his arms thrown across the boy's square shoulders. His nose brushed the scorching cold shell of his ear, his subtle breaths heating the icy skin. Their hands began to intertwine followed by fingers melting together. It was a natural fluid movement, their adjoined digits seeming to be an unconscious decision. Mika on the other hand couldn't help but notice it a little too much lately. Once things like this were conscious, questionable feelings arose. Frustrating ones. A weakened detest was caught under Yuu's breath, his words stingy, "Shut up stupid Mika." Mikaela could notice the gradual change in the boy's heart rate, it was like he was relaxing in his grip, his heart slowing to a more rational pace. The thought was what counted, soon enough they would be out of this blasted cold. They trudged on in silence, the crunch of the snow underfoot as their boots became progressively dampened. Snow stuck to their clothes matting in clumps and freezing to their folds. The sky held little white blurs of asphalt, a mixture of icy waters. Mika could feel the trembles that rocked Yuu's frame when another burst of wind battered their faces. The small chatters of his teeth that he tried so obviously to hide. Mikaela liked them, the little things, to be a human again. Yuu reminded him of the time when he was truly human. He wanted to feel like that again, to shiver, to crave more warmth, to have that burning flame on the inside threatened by the outside elements. He wanted to freeze, to feel as cold and as transparent as Yuu. He needed that feeling so badly. It had been so long since he felt those things, he was afraid to forget these sensations. Mikaela tried with all his might to desperately study Yuu's reactions his every passing movement, anything at all to get the sense of what it was once like. He wanted to tell Yuu these things, he wanted him to understand how it would be like to just suddenly lose those senses, to live in a totally different way. It made his stomach churn when Yuu would forget that he didn't feel those things, because it was so natural to him. Once Yuu would say he would want those attributes to be immune to such things to be stronger than average, that it would help him hunt down vampires better. Only if Yuu knew the true extent of losing them. Though Yuu never said any of that, he rarely commented on the fact that his best friend was inhuman. The only times he would was when it was necessary. Thirst. Mikaela swallowed deep in his scratchy throat, the walls stinging as saliva slid down his esophagus. It had been quite a while since his last drink, but he wasn't going to force himself on Yuu in their condition. He could hold on, after all it was only self control. That was something he was getting better at, but there was a certain point where it was too much and that "self control" resulted in nothing completely powerless to his vampire tendency. The bleak pummel of weather became harsher as Mikaela sought out for shelter, he needed virtually anything now with a roof over it. He could feel Yuu slipping beneath him, his pace slower, his breaths swallow. His skin was starkly pale and clammy. They had to be walking for hours on empty ever since dawn. They weren't going to find the rest of the Moon Demon Company. This was getting to be troublesome. Mikaela's concern for Yuichiro was increasingly skyrocketing with each deepened step in the snow. He knew what he had to do. "Yuu-chan hold on to me," he spoke softly into his ear leaning on his shoulder. "Don't let go, okay?" Mikaela knelt the barely awake boy down, hovering above snow before he scooped him up in both arms. Yuichiro's meek body curled into his shoulder stretching fragile fingers around his neck. In the corner of his eye, he could see a faint hue of red bury his features, it was barely noticeable. Mika dismissed it as another thing to worry about, his temperature. Temperature, Yuu. He was shaking involuntarily. Of course he was, you can't force yourself to be that freezing right? No. "Mika don't look at me like t-that," Yuu stuttered in a shiver his tone, trying to be passive aggressive, but coming out weaker than expected. Vivid green eyes veered away from his face giving off some sort of eye pout. Mikaela was too busy scouring the blaze of dizzy particles for some sort of shelter. He knew they were on some sort of road despite the blinding weather. In the far distance there was a dark shape that stretched out across the road, it seemed to be a building from their distance. That was their best bet to get somewhere safe. "Yuu turn your face into my chest so you don’t freeze it off." He demanded, not ready to quarrel with Yuichiro. "What the hell are you planning? I'm not doing that!" The boy detested in a stubborn voice, "B-besides put me down I can walk perfectly fine." "Yuu, please. Stop being immature unless you want frostbite?" Yuichiro was quick to retort with his, again proven, immature manner, "I'm not being immature! We have to find Shinoa and the others, they are probably stopped somewhere, this is our chance." Mikaela sighed, granted Yuichiro was right, but they wouldn’t get to them if they were already dead. He sometimes wondered how Yuichiro survived with his irrational decision making. Just holding onto Yuu, he knew that wasn’t happening any time soon. Just thinking of how Yuichiro would risk his life like that made him uneasy and slightly sour. He didn’t think he'd ever fully trust them. It was still hard knowing what their true intentions were. Yuichiro's tired eyes seemed to go, lengthy eyelashes resting against his cheekbones. He was sure his muscles were aching from the long journey, but that didn’t make the sight of Yuu any more comforting. The building was just mere paces away as Mikaela spotted assumedly stairs, with railings trailing along all matted in white. As it came further into view the blotchy shadow was now a double story house, with an inviting fence façade. The windows held typical one person balconies and the fence was framed with several overgrown bushes. There was a longer balcony on the side, seemingly serving as a place to dry out futons and laundry. The plain cream curtains were visible through the long windows. And the roof seemed to be hipped which evoked an element of traditional Japanese homes, but all in all it seemed like a typical, modern house. Going in through the side gate Mika sighed in relief, he was so grateful to have found something, anything as shelter. But a house? With their luck there was probably a bed or a couch inside for Yuu. Sleep seemed like a gracious idea. Mika knew he had to be the lookout though. Granted, being a vampire sleep was natural during the daylight, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t tired at night. The lack of sleep stretched over a span of nearly three days, no wonder Yuichiro was so frail and feverish. The heels of his boots clicked on the wood floor opening the sturdy door with one hand. He felt the small, concentrated breaths of Yuu on his chest, the boy's fingers loosening. Mikaela quickly shut the door with his hips, dust rustled and consumed the air. His frame slid against the entrance holding Yuichiro's body tighter to himself breathing deeply. He couldn’t believe they came across a house. He couldn’t believe how immensely frigid Yuu's physique was nonetheless his clothes. He couldn’t believe anything right now. The restlessness washed over him, Yuichiro. The white cloth of his glove traced over Yuu's cheekbone, so numb and pale. Mikaela instinctively leaned in closer, studying his features in the moonlight, so serene. He felt like he might fall flat on his face just by his tired aura. He needed more body warmth, he needed dry clothes. Mika veered his chin back up scanning the room in their dim amount of light. Crimson flickered across to what was a low lying couch, the cushions seemed beat up but bearable. Picking Yuichiro's limp body back into his arms Mika carefully rested him onto the dark cushion sitting on the edge. Mikaela tugged on his cape taking it off with ease, Yuu's jacket was drenched below that had to come off too. He traced his fingers along the boy's buttons watching them reflect from the rays of light from the window. Fiddling with the latch he unbuttoned the first two before he felt hands clasping over his wrists. "Stop Mika," Yuichiro spoke quietly. "Let me do it." The sofa creaked as Yuu shifted to sit up unclasping each reflective button. Then came off his belt followed by the removal of his boots, one by one. His socks were stuck neatly into them both as he began to strip his soggy button down off. Each crease stuck to his frame, see through, and completely damp. Mikaela had noticed the stiff imprints of his nipples through the shirt, the distinct lines of his muscles. It made him feel odd, like something wasn't right. He had a blind urge to do this himself, Yuichiro was shivering under that mask of his after all. He needed the extra hand. "Yuu-chan just rest… I'll do this, okay?" His tone sounded urgent, as if he was going to let Yuu die on him. "I'm already doing this just fine, I was just a little tired before. I didn’t mean to scare you Mika. I'm glad you found this house I probably would've been a goner if we had to go a mile further." Yuichiro smiled wide his vivid green eyes set on Mikaela's. Mikaela smiled back watching Yuu's face heat up in contrast, blood rushing to his cheeks. Blood. In a rush to compose himself the blond stood up. "I'm going to find a blanket," Mika felt the need to escape hurriedly rushing away. Anything was a good enough scapegoat. He didn’t even wait to hear the boy's response. His pulse pounded through his skull. He could hold on, for Yuu. The room seemed to spin and for once he was thankful how dark it was, Yuichiro wouldn’t be able to tell how much he was losing it. Trying to even his pace he waltzed into the hallway pushing open the first door he could find. His inhales subsided as he began to calm down further away from Yuu. Analyzing the room, a bittersweet vibe struck his heart. It was a little kid's room the walls painted a pale blue, a mountain of stale stuffed animals present on a wooden bed. It was just a mattress, the family probably fled, taking only necessities. The chance of finding some sort of bedding was still high considering the drawn pictures hung on the wall and a tea set placed neatly on a shelf followed by other sets of play things. Again his heels tapped to the waxed flooring, as he steered himself to the closet. Fingers dangled on the knob before opening, slightly hesitant. His body wanted to crawl back to Yuichiro to suffice the growing need. Mikaela was immediately bombarded by another stuffed animal, but this time as it fell down the top shelf and onto the floor with a plop. He knelt down after examining the closet, the light of the moon directing his eyes to a multicolored pile of blankets. They were placed in a small storage container directly behind the depressed looking animal. Mika grabbed the blankets in one hand and the soft animal in another, examining the white rabbit's features as it had floppy ears and a short nose. Doing it justice Mika gave an ode to the bunny placing it next to its kind on the bed. At least during the end of the world, it wouldn’t be secluded. Mikaela didn’t think much of it, but it slightly reminded him of painful memories secluded himself between vampires and humans. When Yuu wasn’t there, when he was utterly alone. Tracing his footsteps back, Mika spotted Yuichiro sitting on the couch, his head between his bare legs and hands tearing at his neck. His fingers were trembling, his legs, his lips. Mikaela nearly dropped the blankets as he immediately clasped his palms on Yuichiro's shoulders. "Yuu!" He was shocked at how Yuichiro could act fine one second and be in shambles the next, they were really no different when it came to hiding their feelings. ***** Unobtainable Thirst ***** Chapter Summary In which things get a tad bit intimate. Chapter Notes See the end of the chapter for notes He backed Yuu against the couch, pressing his hands on his clammy shoulders. Immediately Mikaela's eyes widened in shock, Yuu's lips were nearly purple, his eyes glossy. He didn’t know how bad it was. He needed to, he needed to know the whole extent. With one hand on his shoulder Mika took the blankets out and layered Yuichiro with them. He was distressed as he moved the boy's head onto the couch so his body rested correctly on the cushions. His eyes shifted frantically as he stripped his gloves from his hands and compressed them to his pulse. His neck… Mika fought himself swallowing deep. Yuu was battling the cold. Madly, Mikaela started to strip himself down, his cape to his boots. He was nearly bare, his boxers only covering milky skin. His cheeks were on fire, the sight of himself or Yuichiro almost naked wasn’t normal. Lifting up the sheets he straddled Yuu's lap, his knees shoved against his legs. This position made Mika's heart palpitate, desperate and crucial he forced Yuu down. The air was intoxicating the smell of blood through Yuu's veins torturing him. His breaths were irregular, nothing was right- "M-Mika," Yuichiro's hoarse words snapped Mikaela from his daze nearly forgetting that this was his best friend, his only family. "Yuu-chan?" Mika looked hectically between his eyes and his fatigued body, he was sure this was hypothermia. "If you need to… then do it already. I'm fine, I don’t need blankets." Yuichiro's request wasn’t even laughable as it usually would've been, his condition was severe and illness was talking. Mikaela sat astonished at Yuichiro as with disoriented movements, he tried shoving back the blankets from above them. Immediately he swiped the boy's palms up and forced them down. The face below him expressed pure passive aggressive emotions mixed with blatant confusion. Mika stressed his words more than ever, concern palpable ,"No Yuu you're shivering, you're still cold!" Racking his brain, he tried to remember treatment for hypothermia, of course he didn’t get much out of school as a kid, but this was the apocalypse survival was key and you were taught just that. He needed to warm his core meaning to start with his head, and other critical points such as his armpits and his hands and feet. That also meant his genitals, which were occupied by soggy underwear. He honestly didn’t care how much it embarrassed the hell out of Yuu if he woke up absolutely naked in the morning. They had to be smart when it came to survival and Yuichiro being self conscious wasn’t going to cut it. With a sigh, Mika let go of his hands and tended to Yuu's waistband tugging down each side as the boy was busy being perplexed and irrational. Mikaela could tune out his protests if he had to. "Hey wait! M-Mika what are you- Stop!" and there it was overly expected. Even the boy's slurred words still had a bit of himself somewhere in there. Yuu's fingers were back on his wrists clearly trying to stop the advances. Mikaela just ignored him as he, the stronger being, gave Yuu a grave look slightly annoyed. "Mika no don’t- really! What's your problem!" Yuu continued to protest only making Mikaela pull harder from his grip. With one rough tug Yuichiro's dark boxers were completely off and pushed from the couch. Silence was prominent, he succeeded in shutting him up awfully quiet. Mortified eyes turned the other way a hand covering his mouth. Yuichiro's dark hair framed his face each strand softening against his sharp jaw. Every part of his physique was shuddering, the tips of his fingers practically uncontrollable. The air was so tense that Mikaela was sure he was swallowing mouthfuls of it. Feeling a little affected himself, the blond worked his own underwear down with an apprehensive touch. He dared not to put himself in a situation where he looked at Yuichiro in an indecent manner. Therefore his eyes were locked onto Yuu's face even as the sound of fabric scraping down skin pursued. There was a mutual flush across their faces. Green shifted into scarlet without warning and then in a fury downwards as Yuichiro clearly glimpsed at Mikaela's indecent body. In response the blond was tempted to look at Yuu as payback, but his reddening cheeks weren't helping. Blindly, Mika pushed down the rest of the fabric past his ankles and onto the floor. Skin to skin contact was the method since Yuichiro was being an obvious pain in the ass about the blankets. Mikaela was sure Yuu would've preferred the cloth if he knew that he had forced himself into the only thing left that was remotely possible. Even if it meant a constant rebuke, he'd do it for his sake. He knew Yuu would do the same. Mikaela didn’t know how to position his body on Yuichiro without it being highly uncomfortable, he didn’t think there was a way considering Yuu would refuse either one. Leaning in closer, Mika felt his thighs clash against Yuu's keeping his elbows to the edges of Yuichiro's shoulders. His pale fingers lined the cool skin of Yuu's jaw line, trying to suffice his shivers. The boy's void of pupils shifted to Mika's once again before a giant spread of red cloaked his face, his head turning away. "Yuu don’t make this harder than it has to be," Mikaela felt a tad impatient, but more importantly concerned. Rubbing the pads of his fingers over Yuu's knuckles, he coaxed his hand from his mouth getting viridescent to pour back into his complexion. Mikaela touched his forehead to Yuu's filling his fingers. The air was too silent, everything was so intense. From blown orbs swimming in intricate patterns of jade to the growing body warmth that Mika was trying to desperately to conjure between them. "M-Mika…" Yuu inhaled wildly, holding his breath, his pupils dilated. Mikaela let the skin of their noses brush studying Yuu's slightly parted lips and his lengthy jet black eyelashes. He was much too conscious of the fact that his heart was banging against his rib cage at a vigilant rate. Yuichiro was so enthralling to look at, with his more matured features and the perfect slope of his nose. His eyes still held their intense purpose like they did when they were younger, but his jaw was carved out and his physique was toned. How many years did he miss this maturing? It seemed much longer than it realistically was as Mika felt those years were stolen from him, from them. He wanted to comfort Yuichiro, and to hold him when he was afraid. He knew all too well his tough guy act was no match for his big heart and distressing, underlying fears. He couldn’t do that until now as they were reunited at last. This, he was never letting go. Mika felt his pulse raving, emotions overwhelming his thoughts as he spoke his mind in a whisper, "I can't believe I missed all these years of you growing older." He could hear the small gasp in the boy's breath, his face blooming into a impossibly rosier tinge. Mikaela had a front row seat to Yuu's prominent heart beat, his veins pumping blood at a higher momentum. Green eyes clouded into a lustrous layer of water as it pooled at his eyelids. Mika trailed his hands up the cushion to Yuu's mess of a complexion wiping his tears with his thumbs. Yuichiro expressed what seemed like his feelings on all those years, lost without each other. Yuichiro only knew he was dead and Mikaela could see deep down that it tore him up. He wanted to feel how much it affected his well being, he wanted to feel and know absolutely everything that made him who he was, what shaped him. "Stop looking so sad, okay? Or else I'm going to have to cry harder," Yuu grumbled sharing sentimental eye contact. "Yuu-chan grew up to be a big baby didn’t he?" Mika threw his head back in laughter, but was quickly shut down by a harsh knee to the thigh, "Hey!" Yuu's lips became upturned in a smug smile, "Well don’t make fun of me while you're naked." Mikaela raised an eyebrow, as if Yuichiro could threaten him. The boy was obviously shaken, his plastered act not covering anything. Slowly, he felt their skin press together, conjuring a wince like gasp to come from Yuichiro. Mikaela immediately buried his head of blond hair in Yuu's rough shoulder in shock. Their skin contrasted in temperature, it was like diving head first into an icy tub, he was sure it was painful for Yuu as well. He didn’t think he would be that warmer than Yuu, if anything he thought his skin might've been the opposite. But what baffled him the most was the sheer contact of it all. Of Yuichiro's body lined up against his own. A surge of embarrassment married his features, he couldn’t look at him as their frames were placed like jigsaw puzzles to each other. He squinted his eyes as he felt Yuichiro breathe heavily into him. Each curve he analyzed with his own, each crook and slope of his best friend's body. He was mapping out his slender torso, the toned harness of his thighs, every bit of his hips and below… His heart was bursting at the seams, his head pounding from his skull with each beat. Mikaela could've sworn he was forcing his heart down his throat with each swallow. His arms wrapped around Yuichiro's head exhaling shakily against the tender skin of his neck. Everything seemed like sensory overload, the rushing liquid from inside adding to it all. His lips were so close as they trailed down his neck, his fangs brushing to his exposed throat. Mikaela forced himself to choke down the obvious need for their special closeness. He wanted to feel Yuichiro's blood coursing inside of him, he wanted to lick the remnants off of the contrast of skin. "Do it Mika," the resounding whisper of Yuu's voice made waves of electricity trickle through his spine. Yuichiro's hands outlined the slope of his back, stopping around his torso. Mikaela felt Yuichiro's heart beat consume every noise in the room along with his own. The rapid pace making him feel delusional. He traced the tip of his slick tongue reflexively up Yuichiro's neck. The quick swallowed below him, caused his teeth to scrape the surface. "Come on please Mika… just this time," a soft, impatient whine practically fell from his mouth giving himself to Mikaela. The amount of restrain a vampire had to do. Why would he deny such a thing that Yuu was clearly allowing? It wasn’t right, Yuichiro's health always came first no matter the thirst and hunger he felt. It was a sort of unspoken vow that Mikaela devised between himself. He couldn’t do it like this, Yuichiro was still in a detrimental condition. And yet he was there, Yuichiro presenting himself, and he hadn't remembered the last time he felt the boy's blood filling his esophagus. He could feel his sanity breaking as his mind lusted over the heavy atmosphere of thirst. There was a blurred line between wrong and right, and Mikaela couldn’t find which side he landed on. It was a sudden urge that Yuichiro, that no one could stop from progressing, and bubbling inside until it spilled. Without hesitation, he pressed his lips to his neck, letting his teeth sink in without restriction. Yuichiro tensed more than ever a groan protruding from his on edge frame. He felt possession engulf him as the smooth liquid resonated in his throat. Yuichiro was his, no one elses. Yuu's hands clawed into his skin as if he was trying to hold on to something, anything. Mikaela could feel his grip mirroring the boy's pressing into the couch below them. His body couldn’t stop the need for more, his eyelashes covering half of his already blurred vision. "Drink as much as you need," Yuichiro's breath was heavy as his words came pouring into the blond's ears. Mikaela conjured an immediate response out of the dark haired boy, his voice leaping from his broken throat. A reactive sob caused vibrations to barrel to the surface of his throat. Mikaela was penetrating his skin deeper, gritting his teeth. Excess blood dribbled from the bite wound and escaped his mouth marking a prominent trail down Yuichiro's neck. His tongue wrapped around his teeth, letting up and exhaling a steamy breath to his skin. He lapped up the blood pooling at the two fresh indents before licking up the surplus that dripped passed. The rush of Yuichiro's blood throughout him felt sensual, it was so gratifying to his needs. The sought out feeling much like ecstasy. His fangs reentered the tender wound alongside Yuu's low gasp and shallow inhales. He could feel how drastically it was affecting Yuichiro, the sweet scent of his blood consuming his thoughts. Nothing could compare to how complete he felt intertwined with Yuichiro like this. The way he accepted him as a vampire. It never felt like there was distance once he knew. It was like they became closer after everything was out in the open physically, mentally, and emotionally. He felt so affectionate towards Yuu. The fond sense of intimacy sparked between them. This is what Mikaela felt whenever Yuu allowed his teeth on him. He was addicted to this sensation as it felt like the closest thing to home. He ingested more of Yuichiro's satisfying blood, the metallic taste bitter and enslaving. As a vampire he needed this, regrettably hooked on Yuichiro's blood from he first time he was able to touch him. Mikaela hated that he craved his blood, he wanted to stop, but when the proneness became okayed and frequently asked by Yuu himself Mikaela felt he had no choice. Yuichiro's lungs were heaving into his chest, small gasps presumably held back by clamped teeth came from precious lips, other than that he was composed under him. Muscles tense the deeper his fangs submerged. He let up achieving the last of what he needed. There was a limit he had to set for himself and for Yuichiro and he wouldn’t ever break that. Breaking it meant he was the same as vampire scum. He could never forgive himself if he passed it. If he went anymore, he knew he'd be there, a point where he'd become incapable of stopping. Mikaela let his lips brush against the delicate area, placing a lingering, melancholy kiss. The taste of Yuichiro's blood persisted on his tongue as he compressed it to the corrupted space. He felt the overwhelming passion of it all rush through his veins as he ached for more of this closeness. He had a sudden urge to touch Yuichiro, in a way they hadn't, in a way that brought them together more. Mikaela brought his elbows back to Yuichiro's head lifting from the boy's tempting neck. He couldn’t believe how flushed he made Yuu. The boy's deep hair was a mess, his lashes strung over dark green. The scarlet of his blissed out face contrasted against his eyes. He was the embodiment of gorgeous. Every slope of his expression, every furrow of his brows, his slightly more sun kissed skin. He so justly adored Yuichiro. He traced his thumb along Yuichiro's chapped lips. His own caught impulsively between his teeth as he gazed into his hazy expression. He wanted this to last forever, to get helplessly lost in Yuichiro's air. "Stop staring at me like that," his words were breathless, his eyes darting away. "Like what?" he whispered teasingly in response. Yuichiro looked scorned his lips pulled in a slight pout. Leaning in closer, adrenaline washed through his veins, his breaths in sync with Yuichiro's. Their noses passed this time, half mast lids, and dead silence. Mikaela felt like he was falling, forever, down further than he thought possible. He couldn’t find the steady beat of his heart, nor the sense of rationality that his mind was prioritizing. His thoughts were locked on Yuu, all of him. The intense heat of their feverish bones colliding together. His lips clashing with the tenderness of Yuichiro's. The entirety of his body ached so profoundly for this poignant contact. The earnest collision left him speechless feeling Yuichiro's silky strands of hair tangled in his fingers. Their lips divided and slid past each other once more. Fluidly, Mikaela slowly compressed them back desperate for Yuichiro's touch. The boy complied trailing his fingers to his jaw and letting his lips become ajar. It was impulsive, but it felt so natural. The subtle advancement of his tongue caused Yuichiro to quiver below him. Gradually, Mikaela enveloped his bottom lip between his teeth, careful and hesitant. The physical contact was overwhelming, the friction between them rendering his conscious helpless. He didn’t know how badly he wanted this. The warmth of their bodies pressing together felt more amorous than anything. Mikaela nearly lost his breath, his heart skipping, as he felt exasperated breaking for air, "Yuu-" "Its not fair…" Yuichiro exhaled a strand of saliva snapping between their lips. "Let me… Mika." The boy's hoarse, quiet words blared through his mind as Yuichiro lead him into another lip lock. The union of their lips was slow and soft as he allowed Yuu to guide him. It was as if there wasn’t enough oxygen, their lungs fragile to the desire that reigned heavily through the room. There was one last sweet press of their lips, before he sensed Yuichiro pulling back. Mikaela couldn’t stop his urge to get closer to Yuu, to see his pretty features melt into a heated, sensitive mess. His eyes met with Yuu's half lidded ones and he craved more from the rosy flushed boy. He wanted more of that kind of attention, whatever it was. Something was utterly wrong. Mikaela abruptly felt a sore emptiness reach his gut as he saw Yuichiro's humiliated expression. Everything that was building was suddenly lost, just like that. He felt himself come off of the high of Yuichiro's blood and affection to a stone cold halt. The reality of what they had done made Mikaela ashamed, he shouldn’t have drank Yuichiro's blood. The boy needed to recover and all he was doing was making it worse. Even the satisfying press of their lips lingered with an uncertain buzz. The couch springs creaked as Yuichiro shifted on his side concealing his face in an arm. He screwed up, terribly. Yuichiro was supposed to be his family, right?
