Many thanks to everyone who posted positive feedback on the original version!  This revised HTML version is for you!  Hope the technical requirements of this version meet up to everyone's expectations!

It's my opinion that stories of this type need to be idealistic "love story" fantasies, otherwise there is no point.  I especially hope the female readers at TOB (if there really are any!) appreciate this type of story.  These stories posted at TOB are the only fiction I've ever written, and these illustrations are the first I've ever publicly posted.  Pencil sketches are my forte, not very good at pen and ink or color.  Pencil sketches really don't scan very well, and the originals are much nicer.

The problem with sketches is, they force you to envision Arianna the way I've drawn her, though the sketches don't compare with my own mental picture of her.  Reading the words alone allows you to picture Arianna in your own mind, in which she will be much more beautiful to you than anything I could sketch.  Also, pictures in a BE story highlight the impossibility of it all.  It's much easier to "suspend disbelief" when reading words alone.  

All that being said, please don't "peek" at the image files before viewing them in their proper place in the story.  Also, sorry to anyone who wished a particular scene to be illustrated.  We have to work with the drawings in Grandpa Bill's sketchbook!
