Dirt Profile: Dirt is white, male, and born in the USA just after World War II, the time of extreme homophobia in this country, and he internalized that position and it took him literally decades to recover from his past 'brainwashing.' The pen name 'Dirt' denotes that he is an author who believes himself 'grounded' in reality, and considers 'the earthly' passions and desires just as relevant and 'good' as our other desires and wants. His stories are all set in a future where a new gene-splice technology is developed, which makes it possible to stop a boy's physical maturity and even more 'specialized' alterations to provide new 'remodeled boys'.
