Favorites of Lix

These are my Favorite stories, authors, and things. If you share my taste in life, these may be useful to you. . . So, with that aside, Welcome to My Favorite Stories. Most of the stories below are links to existing ASSTR files. I've seen many other Authors here, just duplicate files into their own webspace, but I balk at that for two reasons. One, it causes Search engine trash, and two it wastes disk space. So, Please, if you are a Publisher on ASSTR, delete your duplicates, clean up your space, and provide links to existing files. (Oh! No! I sound like Mom! *taking a huge slug of Merlot* Man, I'm going to have to quit that, I'm scaring myself.)

One last thing before we get on with it, if you don't want to read spoilers, don't read the reasons why I like something.

Also, to the best of my ability I've dug up the original author's name, original title, and approximate first publish date. I'm sure some of these will be wrong, so if you find a mistake, please email me the specifics and I'll make the correction.

What can I say, Tom is probably my all-time favorite author. "Brenda" is my all-time favorite story. The characters are real, the plot is skillfully developed, and the narrative is well written. It is a love story, and shows that what you need most, my be right under your nose. I would like to find someone with even half as much love in her as Brenda.

Katina Choovanski | Little Sister | May 28, 1995 | mf, inc, vir (1st), cons?
Google doesn't seem to have the original post, as all I can find is Clue Master's repost in 1996, but given Katina's earlier post to a.s.s. of the story titled, A Letter to Master (mf, con, d/s), seeming to use the same posting source, best guess is she is the correct author.

Reason I liked it?: They snuggle and say, "I love you."

Clayton writes well and artfully twines responsibility and ethics into his stories.

Someday I'll track down all of Clayton's works. Probably not very soon though :(.

A Love story pure and simple. Well not so simple, as Captain Samantha Carter and Colonel Jack O'Neill are both in the military and in the same chain of command to boot. Very well written.

Reason I liked it?: My real reason is a huge spoiler, so I'll play nice and just say that this story should be a slew of episodes.
Noda's site is still up and seems to have been last updated 2003-06-04.

A wonderful story of love. Sometimes in life you get a second chance, delicately grasp them with both hands, and nurture them gently until they become reality.

Reason I liked it?: Everyone, no matter how independent, needs love.
I'm not sure if Clem is the Author or just the name of the poster. I'm also trying to track down if there is a webpage or site somewhere with hopefully more of this author's works.

Well that didn�t take long to come grinding to a halt. . . And if I can just get one done per week, I should have this all wrapped up by 2010. :)
