The Queen decided that she needed to intervene.  After the consummation of the marriage of her oldest son, another royal ball was scheduled for Thomas to continue courting, and consider adding more young ladies to be interviewed.  Before the ball, the Queen met with Thomas and pressured him to fill the remaining three slots with three particular noble daughters.
