Safety Warning. This story may contain descriptions of practices that are decidedly unsafe, either in general, or if performed by someone without adequate training. There are a number of good books available on safety in the BDSM scene. Most large cities, and some not so large ones, have organized BDSM groups that will usually welcome a newcomer. I’m not going to point out which practices are safe, and which aren’t. Any practice is unsafe if performed by someone with inadequate training and experience, or if performed when not paying attention. Please think before you act. Don’t make yourself a candidate for a Darwin award.

Now on to the story.

Preface: Company History

The Premier Ponygirl Organization is a ponygirl acquisition, training and sales organization. It maintains three training centers in the North American Association.

It originated around 2015 as one of several organizations that were trying to make the perfect ponygirl using the new DNA modification technology. They were notable both for high standards and a complete lack of anything resembling medical ethics or concern for their experimental subjects.

By approximately 2025 it had stabilized its set of DNA changes. It had also created its own version of the control collar software for managing a ponygirl ranch. It got a major investment from somewhere and went public selling a line of premium ponygirls.

Unlike other organizations, it did not get raw material from ponygirl enthusiasts. Instead, it leveraged the newly booming business in poaching female college students who had given their boyfriends the newly popular True Love and Eternal Devotion contract, or had entered a contingent slave contract as security for a loan. It had a back-door deal with the Slaveowner's Consortium to access their private files so it could locate suitable candidates from the at-risk population.

By 2033 (Story is Christmas Gift) it was processing about 2000 ponygirls a year at three centers. Its primary market was people in the several dozen enclaves and open areas in the NAA where ponygirl use was common. In many of these areas one could see ponygirl-drawn carriages and ponygirls being ridden on the streets and highways in the same way as earlier eras had horse-drawn carriages.

Their business started shrinking during the later 30s, partly due to market saturation, partly due to competition from Excelsior and partly due to a growing social consensus that keeping ponygirls from talking was not good, although it never went below about 1500 ponies a year.

Their control collar software merged with the new standard in 2043, becoming one of several Ponygirl modules. They weren't affected by the new contract slavery laws in 2050. They survived the legal change of 2055 because the Goodwife Institute managed to rescue their True Love and Eternal Devotion product. They finally went out of business in 2075 as a result of the creation of the Family Association. This rapidly replaced the True Love and Eternal Devotion contract that had been their primary source of supply.

You and Your Premier Ponygirl

You and Your Premier Ponygirl is a booklet (network versions are also available, of course) which describes how to care for, train and discipline a Premier Ponygirl.

Know Your Ponygirl

There is a common belief that most ponygirls got involved with the scene, got further into it and then went full time. This is, in fact, the model followed by Excelsior Kennels and Stables. Premier does not follow this path because the activities, training and DNA mods in the ponygirl scene ruin candidates for the more rigorous and precise training that makes a Premier Ponygirl the acknowledged quality product she is.

Premier Ponygirls are not volunteers. They are mostly college students who entered a True Love and Eternal Devotion contract with their boyfriend, or who entered a contract as security for a personal loan. Once their boyfriend exercises the enslavement option on the True Love and Eternal Devotion contract, or they default on the loan, they'll be picked up by a capture team and collared. The first they know that they are going to become ponygirls is when they find out their new owner. They are given the standard surgeries and DNA mods and sent to one of our training centers; training begins immediately.

The key thing to keep in mind while reading this manual is that Premier Ponygirls are trained to act like horses, should be treated like horses and should be used like horses. They are not, however, horses.

What You See

A Premier Ponygirl is around 6 feet tall, from the top of her head to the bottom of her hooves. She has substantially wider and heavier hips than would be expected from her height. Her legs are likewise heavier and longer. She has a very strong spine.

Premier Ponygirls come with a wide variety of hair styles. It's possible to change her hair style; our DNA mods are completely compatible with commercial hair beautification DNA modification products. They are trained to care for their own hair if you decide to release their hands.

The bridle that she's delivered with should be left on permanently, and only removed for grooming and hair care. It contains a brain wave scanner that's used to insure that she stays up and enthusiastic, and also to insure that her training and conditioning as a ponygirl stays in place. This is not necessary for Premier Ponygirls who have the 2040 or later model control collar.

As delivered, her hands come encased in special containers that do a fairly good job of keeping them from deteriorating. Whether you want to keep her hands confined or release them is up to you: the instructions and some considerations are below.

One contentious feature is that she has relatively small breasts. This is so that her breasts aren't damaged during heavy exercise, such as riding, cart pulling or racing. You can use commercial breast augmentation DNA mods, however we don't recommend them without the Breast Countermotion Generators. These have their own issues.

Tail lengths vary slightly, but in most cases her tail comes to just below the knee with the luxurious tail hair coming to mid-calf.

Her hooves are almost identical to a horse's hooves. They need to be cared for the same way a horse's hooves are cared for. Our ponies are fully trained to care for their own hooves if you decide to let them use their hands. This does not extend to shoeing them, however. That should be done by a properly certified farrier.

The lower few inches of leg, just above the hoof, is covered with a horsehair coat and sometimes longer hair. This can be removed with commercially available DNA hair styling products.

Under the Covers

She has the standard set of control collar, earplugs and muffler. Models captured and trained after 2040 have the microcable connections; these models do not need to be bridled all the time.

She has been rendered infertile so there is no chance of an inconvenient foal.

She has an extensive suite of DNA modifications that strengthen her skeleton and give her extreme lower body strength: she can generate four horsepower when pulling a load. The major limit isn't her strength, it's her hooves' traction. The modifications improve nutrient delivery to the muscles and waste scavenging to the point that she literally can't get tired: she'll run out of available nutrients first. In addition, she can transfer nutrients from and to fat rapidly enough that she can draw on fat storage during work or a race with no reduction in performance.

Her tail is of no practical use. Most of our customers like it, and its presence tends to reinforce her self-image as a ponygirl.

Her hooves need to be cared for the same way as a horse's hooves. It's best to keep her moving: the constant motion is better for hoof health than having her stand in a stall.

Her skin has an environmental enhancement that will keep her comfortable down to a wind chill of -10 C. This is unlikely to occur anywhere within the NAA except in bad winters, mountains or the Arctic. This enhancement will allow you to leave her in pasture at night in most climates and seasons.

Of course, PPO also deals with stallions. Stallions come with the Super Stud DNA modification. This simplifies managing them because they don't need sex, and don't get unruly when there are no mares present. Of course, it also simplifies managing a ponygirl herd: one stallion for every eight to ten mares keeps the mares quite happy, and the stallions don't have the time to get into trouble.

In addition to Super Stud, stallions are adjusted so that they have no body hair. Their head hair is as thick and luxurious as a mare's. Since stallions have roughly the same conformation as mares, including the wide hips and narrow waist, some owners feminize them to the extent of growing breasts and having their male equipment internal. This does not change their ability to service a herd of mares, although the mares can be a bit puzzled for the first couple of times. It does, however, let the owner use them without advertising that he has a stallion.

Caring for your Ponygirl

If you release her hands, a Premier Ponygirl is quite capable of caring for herself. Having her do her own hair and hoof care is reasonable, having her do anything else, including harnessing, grooming or caring for her tack will usually create discipline problems. You are much better off having a groom do those tasks.

Your ponygirl should have an assigned stall in your stable. If you keep her in pasture most of the time she won't use it very much, but it should be there for shelter during major storms and major spells of cold weather. Possible specifications for a ponygirl stall are given below under Facilities.

A simple sliding bolt on the stall door is quite sufficient if you leave her hands loose. If you keep them bound, the bolt needs to be a dual-use model that will fail open in case of a power failure. This is required to comply with safety regulations.

It is not necessary to use any form of bondage while she is in her stall or going between her stall, the latrine or the pasture. Invisible fences, training and discipline are sufficient to maintain order and confine her to the permitted area. However, many owners prefer to chain her in her stall using a light chain to a ring on her collar. Interestingly, many ponies seem to like the arrangement. Safety regulations require that the chain be set to disconnect in an emergency. She has been trained to attach and detach it herself if you leave her hands free, but only under the permitted circumstances.

You should always have her arms bound behind her when she's outside of the stable and pasture area. Modern arm binders are very convenient to use. Your pony is trained to turn around with her back to you and hands clasped so that the arm binder can be slid on without fuss.

You should never leave her loose outside of the stable and pasture area. Horses tend to wander; leaving her loose accidentally will insure that she won't be where you expect when you come back. It is, of course, easy enough to get her to return.

A Premier Ponygirl tends to bond with her rider, especially if she can identify her rider as her owner. Otherwise she tends to bond with whoever grooms her regularly. If she's not ridden regularly by one person, she may not bond at all.

Your stable should have a grooming area. She should normally be tethered with her arms straight out from the shoulders and then up while she is being cleaned and groomed. It is very important that the person she is to bond to groom her at least occasionally: grooming is a bonding experience. Having the person who uses her groom her after use strengthens her belief that you run an orderly establishment where everyone takes their responsibilities seriously. This will avoid a large number of problems.

Grooming should always include hair care; the pony's hair should be glossy and properly arranged at the end of the grooming session. You may prefer to have her hair replaced with a mane for easier care. Consider freeing her hands so she can care for her own hair instead.

Premier Ponygirls need to be fed regularly. They are trained to feed from a dish containing food pellets. We do not recommend letting them use their hands to feed, even if you release their hands. In fact, we condition them against it.

If you keep her hands confined, you should do a deep massage and have her do a series of hand exercises at least once a week. She has been fully trained on the required exercises; all you need to provide is the rather simple equipment. This will keep her hands in shape in case you want to release them later, and it will also eliminate the possibility of Health Service involvement or being dinged on a site inspection for Unsafe Work Practices. Either situation can result in a major fine.

There are two major reasons why you might want to release her hands. First, many owners prefer their ponygirls to have fetching hair styles rather than a simple, easy to maintain mane. It simplifies your stable workflow if she is able to maintain her own hair.

Second, if you have a pony herd in a meadow, they are going to want to play games, and games with balls and the flying plastic disk are very popular. These requires the use of hands.

She has been trained to not pleasure herself, and the Ponygirl module in her control collar will insure that she can't use her hands to stimulate herself.

Ponygirls should have sex regularly; once a day is not too frequent. Since a ponygirl will tend to bond with whoever uses her consistently, that person should be you. If you have several ponygirls as well as one or more wives or girlfriends, we recommend the Super Stud DNA modification. If you're a woman, we still recommend that you are the person who brings her up and to orgasm regularly. You should use a sex toy to maintain the needed role separation. Of course, you can have her do you as well.

You should never allow her to evacuate in her stall. There are multiple reasons: she doesn't like it, your stable hands don't like it, and you can get into serious trouble with site inspections for safe workplaces if you allow it. You need to supply a latrine with a squat toilet or similar. Our stable management software will detect when she needs to go, unlock the door to her stall and prompt her to go to the latrine. She is trained to come back to her stall, but a fair number of mares wander around the stable a bit before returning. This is typical horse curiosity; as long as she is not causing trouble it should be allowed.

A paddock is not necessary.

Most ponygirls prefer to spend free time in a pasture rather than their stall. A pasture, if provided, should have a free run to the stable. It should have both a regular and invisible fence. A pasture feeding station is not exactly mandatory but it is appreciated: if one is not present your ponygirls will come back to their stalls to feed.

Sanitary considerations require that they use the latrine in the stable. This is the way they're trained.

A ponygirl herd in a meadow is likely to want to play games. This should be encouraged by providing a sufficiently large pasture, and also a robot or two to collect balls that go across the fence.

A large ponygirl herd should have a ratio of about one stallion for every eight to ten mares.

When you have more than one Premier Ponygirl, they will attempt to talk to each other using sign language. You should allow this, as well as allowing them to teach the language to other breeds of ponygirl. The reason is that the language, such as it is, tends to reinforce the role.

You should forbid your stable hands from learning the pony's sign language, and you should refrain from using it with them. Partially this helps maintain the separation: your ponygirls are animals, and your grooms are not. It also helps to foster their illusion that their owners don't know what they're talking about, which gives you a bit of leverage in learning what they really think about you and your stable hands. There's a program that can take a video and translate the language so you can understand it.

Training Your Ponygirl

There are a wide variety of packaged training courses for ponygirls; they come with training AI collar modules and instructions for the trainer. It's advisable to take a course in how to use them first; once you've got a bit of practice you'll be able to use most of the available courses without further instruction.

Designing your own trainings requires a good deal more skill. It's advisable to apprentice with an experianced ponygirl trainer.

Disciplining Your Ponygirl

You need to maintain discipline. As mentioned previously, Premier Ponygirls are not volunteers. Many of them would prefer to be doing just about anything else, and will take whatever opportunities you allow to make your, and your stable hands, lives interesting. Maintaining adequate discipline is not particularly difficult; it is almost never necessary to use harsh methods.

The key to maintaining discipline is to keep them in role. You should never give them the slightest reason to think you, or your stable hands, think it is possible, let alone useful, for them to break role. The most important part of this is the strict separation between what they are allowed to do for themselves, and what you, or your stable hands, must do for them.

The principle is that they are reasonably normal girls who have been modified and trained to act like horses, and who fully expect, after training, to be treated as if they were horses. This means that, like horses, their normal, unsupervised behavior is not in the least useful. They need to be permitted to engage in it for health and safety reasons.

Like a horse, it's your job to harness them, fasten them to whatever you want them to pull, and use the reins to guide them where you want them to go. It's your job to groom them and keep up the stable and environs. It's quite possible to train them to do most of that themselves; they are, after all, girls. It's even possible to turn off the garble function in their earplugs so they can understand what you're telling them. If you do, it'll create significant discipline problems. Don't go there!

It is necessary to keep at it.

Premier Ponygirls are conditioned to be unable to talk, even if you remove the standard commands which garble speech beyond their, or anyone's, ability to understand it. This means that they cannot use the subvocalization method of issuing collar commands.

Not being able to talk does not mean that they cannot read! You should make sure that there is nothing in eyesight that you do not want them to know. It is, of course, impossible to control everything when you take them off of your premises, but blinders, checkreins and a bit of thought will go a long way to insure that she has as little inappropriate reading material as possible.

We filter our candidate pool for lip readers, or girls who know sign language. The sign language they use is not one of the standard sign languages used by deaf people. They are taught the sign language they use in our training program.

You should restrict their ability to issue collar commands to the legally mandated minimum.

Using Your Ponygirl

Premier Ponygirls are fully trained to pull any variety of cart or carriage by themselves or in teams of two or four. Carriages used for teams should be equipped with strain gages; slackers should be promptly punished with a single whip stoke.

A Premier Ponygirl can be ridden safely by almost all women and most men. Her stat sheet will tell you what her maximum safe load is: it's seldom under 200 pounds. You should exercise her regularly so she maintains conditioning and so you know her maximum load.

While they are trained in road traffic, you need to learn how to handle a ponygirl on the road. She can't do everything!

Ponygirls should always be bound with their arms behind them while they are being used. They should be controlled with a bridle and reins, a lead rein or similar. They should always be under some form of control; either their reins should be in your hand, they should be tied to something, or they should be harnessed to something.

Ponygirls, like horses, wander. Most of them regard wandering off if you forget to tether them when you're not using them as great fun. Fortunately, if your ponygirl does wander off, you can get her to come back with a simple command over the network. You can also tether them with an invisible fence, but that's not recommended: tying her reins or lead rope to something is not only easier for her to understand immediately, it tells anyone who sees her that she isn't loose.

A ponygirl, unlike a horse, can be directed to go somewhere without anyone in attendance. This is partially the standard Go To It control collar module, and partially an invisible fence that moves with her so she cannot stray from the course you set. You cannot, of course, tell her where you want her to go using normal language; you have to set it using your stable system and her control collar.

This function is, by the way, one of the major reasons why she should be allowed to wander. Most Premier Ponygirls, like at least some slaves, cannot tell the difference between following their own impulses and following the Go To It module's commands. They should not be encouraged to make the distinction.

Showing Your Ponygirl

Ponygirl shows have a wide variety of events. Races are, of course, the most popular, but form and obedience events are also quite popular.

There is a ponygirl polo league. As you might imagine, this takes a great deal of training to do adequately.

Appendix A: Managing her Control Collar

A ponygirl's control collar is, of course, a control collar. It needs to be loaded with one of the standard collar operating systems and one of the four available stable management software packages.

Our ponygirl management module has a fair number of settings that you will want to become familiar with. We also supply a module for the farm or household's central management computer.

One thing to be aware of: her permissions should be set so she can only access the minimum legally required control collar facilities regardless of the method. This may seem redundant; since she has been conditioned against talking she should not be able to use subvocalization to issue commands. However, better safe than sorry!

Appendix B: Legally Mandated Commands

(This section contains a short instruction manual on the control collar commands which the slave is legally mandated to always have access to. Its presence is legally mandated in this booklet.)
