“Ladies and gentlemen of the Jury, the Defense would have you believe that the defendant, Mr. Smith, couldn’t have committed this crime, because the science behind the crime does not exist. The video I am about to show you, will prove beyond doubt that the technology exists, thus disproving everything the Defence has been working towards, and proving that he did in fact brainwash the victims to have an orgy, which resulted in them fucking themselves to death.”
As Ms. Clark pushed play on the remote, everyone in the courtroom stared at the screen. The Defense had based their whole case on the fact that mind control was impossible, meaning the death of the teachers and students at the school cafeteria was their own fault, and not the result of Mr. Smith brainwashing them, as the prosecution claimed. Everyone knew he had been involved in the orgy, but there was no one that believed he had caused it, so if this video showed he did, the Jury would come to the sudden and unanimous verdict of guilty. This evidence was of such importance to the case, that no one dared take their eyes off the screen, so no one noticed Ms. Clark putting in earbuds after starting the video.
The video started with a white screen and light music that no one could quite hear, knowing it was there but not being able to make out any notes or pattern. The white screen was up for a few seconds, before it was replaced by a blue one with shapes appearing and disappearing before anyone could figure out what they were. After another couple seconds of the shapes, the music appeared to get louder, but still not loud enough for people to make out what it was, and a mans voice started coming from the speakers.
“This video was found in the possession of Mr. Noah Smith, and was discovered to possess the ability to initiate changes in those who watch it. Parts of it have been modified so it won’t cause you to lose control, but it still contains some of its effects, to display its capabilities. There is no reason to be alarmed, this video has been proven to be safe, and it is completely harmless.
“The current stage of the video causes an increase of blood flow and arousal, opening people up to suggestions to follow instructions and have sex. The video has been weakened, so all but the mentally incompetent will still retain their senses. As everyone stared at the video, Ms. Clark payed close attention to what they were doing. She knew the effects of the video weren’t weakened from when Mr. Smith had it, because he had never had it to begin with. It had been given to her on her way to court by her supervisor at Fer-de-Lance security, and she didn’t need to be told what to do with it. She knew the video would do exactly what the narrator said it was intended to, and that all the reassurances were simply to lower everyone's guard, and make them stay quiet in fear of appearing mentally incompetent.
Ms. Clark noticed most of the men doing their best to hide their erections, and more than a few women were sporting new bumps visible through their shirts. The parents of many of the dead kids had shown up, and most had brought other kids, all hoping to see justice done. “At this point normal adults won’t notice anything, and children will only see things that should happen in everyday life, but unintelligent and slightly perverse adults will occasionally see brief flashes of a woman on her knees performing oral sex. As time passes, the flashes will grow longer and more frequent, and the words will become more clear, until the flashes spend as much time visible as the words, and one or the other is always present. Once the words and flashes reach an equilibrium, a normal person might notice them, however a slightly perverse person would now see the woman begin to pleasure the man with her breasts, and children still won’t see anything out of the ordinary.
“Now that the purple has a reddish tint, no child will be able to sit still, or keep on all their layers of clothes, their minds simply aren’t strong enough to remain unaffected; no need to worry about them though, this is a weakened version so they are perfectly fine. Because they might feel out of place, all adults should make the kids feel better by removing at least one layer of clothing. Ms. Clark knew not to look at the screen, but that meant her only means of judging how far the video had progressed, was the behavior of the people in the court room. She hated not knowing if it was working or not, so she was relieved when the children all started removing their clothes. Everyone was so absorbed in watching the video, someone could probably walk in, light himself on fire, and no one would notice unless the video told them to.
Ms. Clark loved the effects this video had on people, she had seen many mind control methods that reduced the target to a mindless puppet, but this one kept them sharp. The adults eyes were locked on the video with avid interest, as the kids were eagerly stripping and filled with arousal for what was likely the first time in their lives. After delivering the message, Ms. Clark returned home to check messages and sleep, before her boss gave her her next case. Instead of the congratulations she was expecting for the Noah Smith case, she had a very different message waiting.
“Leah, I know this isn’t what we usually use you for, but one of the company's important members was robbed and killed in his home a few nights ago. His wife was also killed, and his daughter is currently in a coma. We have tracked down the perpetrator, and we need you to prosecute him. You can pick up the files in the morning.”
