I would like to have dreams where little girls visit me in a tent on a grassy hill. I like camping and nature, especially with little girls. :)
Now that I mentioned camping, one of my friends asked me if I would like to go camping with her and her girlfriends this summer. I said I don't know because I don't know what Nikki will do this summer and I would like to go with her more than with my friend but if I'm lucky maybe we could go all together. It's still too early now to plan it but it would be great if Nikki could come along because we would travel all over and she would see a lot.
Nikki and I came back from our trip on Sunday afternoon. It was a great idea to visit her grandparents because we had loads of fun! I picked her up on Friday afternoon after work and she was already waiting for me all ready to go. I was hoping to get there early in the evening but because it was getting dark we became lost along the way. I've never been there so I tried to find our way and the instructions that Nikki's mom gave me didn't help a lot. Instead of an hour and a half it took us two and a half hours and just before we arrived it started to rain. I thought we would have a really bad weekend if it continues to rain but it stopped the same night and we had beautiful weather. So after we arrived, Nikki's parents let us in. They knew we were coming. They live in a house in a nice village along the coast. It was nice to finally get inside the house because at night it's still very cold there. They've made dinner for us and Nikki was happy to see them and she introduced me to them. They are really friendly and they tried to make us feel at home but I wonder if they knew the real story about me and Nikki. They never asked but I heard Nikki say how I am her friend and I look after her on weekends and take her to soccer practices and movies. Sometime later they showed us our room. There was only one guest room so we had to share it which was exactly what we wanted but there were two beds in the room so we had to pretend we were going to sleep in separate beds. We said good night to them and undressed for bed. Nikki asked me if she could come to my bed but they were just single beds so there wasn't much room to spare and I was afraid they might find us together in bed so I said it would be better if she slept in her bed. So she climbed in her bed and we said good night. Then after five minutes she left the bed and climbed into my bed as if nothing happened. I asked what she was doing but she just said to keep quiet or they'll hear us. Then I whispered what was she doing, trying to look serious but it only made her laugh. She almost fell over the side until I made some room for her and then she used almost all my blanket to cover herself. I told her we can't sleep like this but she only giggled and laughed until she made me laugh too. We ended up having a tickle fight and all our covers fell on the floor and we had to pick them up again and tidy up the bed. I think her grandparnts could probably hear us laughing but I'm not sure. After a while she calmed down and we were sitting in bed and talking and when she became tired we hugged and kissed for a long time. Later we lay down and held each other because the bed was so small but we still couldn't sleep. I was afraid if we fell asleep together in one bed, her grandparents could find us like that the following day. Finally we agreed to sleep in our own beds but only after few more cuddles and a long kiss good night.
The following day we had to wake up early because we planned to go hiking. First we had breakfast and then Nikki showed me around the house. She showed me where her grandparents keep her two pet rabbits and she introduced me to their dog whose name is Joseph which I thought was very funny. After that she showed me the flower garden and the swing where she likes to swing. Now I know why she likes to visit her grandparents whenever she can. There is so much for her to play with and their house is about five minutes from the sea so she often goes fishing there with her grandad.
After this little tour guide we spoke with her grandad and he told us where is the best place to go walking and hiking so we took our backpacks and went on our way. We walked up the hills and through some patches of forest and we saw some cows and sheep in the distance and local people working in fields. We picked up lots of flowers along the way and later when we stopped to eat our sandwiches I made a little flower ring for her to put on her head. When we finally reached the top we were both exhausted and trying to catch our breath but the view was really nice and we could see almost all the way to [...] and on the other side out to the sea. I didn't want to stay too long out on the top with her because it was windy and cold so we went back down a different way. This took us through the fields so we could see farm animals and of course, Nikki had to stop to feed them which slowed us down a little but we still had plenty of time left. As we were going downhill she started to run and then she fell down and almost twisted her ankle. She didn't hurt herself but she bumped her knee on the ground. After this we went slower and I helped her cary her backpack. She said how she would like to be an explorer or archeologist like Indiana Jones but I told her she's too clumsy for that. She only made a goofy face at me.
We met some people along the way too. They were walking to another village and we talked with them for a while. One of them asked me if Nikki was my daughter and I said no and then Nikki said we kind of hang around together which almost made me laugh but I took her away quickly before she said anything more, like she told that poor waiter on our summer holiday that we are lovers!
By that time it was already afternoon so we decided to head back home. We were both very tired and hungry and when we came home we were very happy to see that Nikki's grandma cooked a beautiful dinner for us. Then we took a shower and went early to bed but we didn't go to sleep. I took her clothes off and checked her ankle and knee on which she fell. She was lying on the bed as I gave her a gentle massage and one thing led to another and we were soon both in each other's arms. We didn't feel like sleeping just yet so we talked about us and shared kisses occasionaly. She said she wanted to move in with me and go to university like Ella but I told her there's still plenty of time for that and there are other things she has to do first. I told her to be patient and that I love her just the way she is. And so we talked until she yawned and slowly fell asleep in my arms. Then I left her alone and moved back to my bed to get some sleep too.
On Sunday we didn't feel like hiking again because our legs hurt from walking all day yesterday so we went to the sea shore and we took some fishing rods with us and some food. Nikki was hoping to catch fish so we could cook it for dinner. Finally after couple of hours of sitting on the rock with our fishing rods I caught one little fish and then soon after that Nikki caught one as well. They were too small for anything so we let them go and soon after that we got bored with fishing so we went for a walk to the village. We were sorry we didn't do that earlier because we found some interesting shops, like one little shop that sells only very old toys. It looks like a museum but everything is for sale although the prices are pretty high. I think they were all antique toys. I saw a couple of very sweet porcelain dolls and some cute teddy bears and Nikki wanted to play with a rocking horse. She climbed on the old wooden horse and rocked backwords and forwards and gave me a little naughty smile as she rocked. I was quite impressed by her little message :) Maybe we should play horsy when we are alone at home.
There wasn't anything more to see in the village as good as the toy shop except a small field where somone kept beehives with bees. When we came closer, a person who worked there said we could come closer and have a look. It was quite fascinating to see beehives and everything gong on there. This person who was looking after them said there weren't many bees around at the moment because they were all out in the field so he let us look inside the hive but not for too long because there were still some bees around and they could get annoyed and sting us. He was also selling honey so we bought one jar. It gave us some naughty thoughts when we saw it! :)
We returned back home in the afternoon and I said to Nikki we should leave soon just in case we get lost again on the way back. She said she was hungry and wanted us to stop somewhere to eat. Then we said goodbye to her grandparents. Nikki was sad that we had to leave already and they said we could come back whenever we wanted which we will probably do. We came to [...] in the late afternoon just before the night started to fall. We were both tired so I drove her home and thanked her for a great weekend and she kissed me quickly on lips before running off inside the house. I drove home feeling sort of alone now that the weekend is all but over but at least I have the next weekend to look forward to.
I'm still feeling tired so I think I will go early to bed tonight. I would like to share it with somone though. It sometimes feels like my life is going to waste because we can't spend every moment together and it makes me depressed. But I guess it's not right to feel that way because at least we can pass weekends together which is more than many girl lovers can do.
