*** WELCOME !! ***
To the Home of Willy Tamarack
Thanks for dropping by ! I hope it's not the first visit or the last. And thanks to the great folks at asstr.org for allowing me a bit of space on their servers. This link takes you to their donation's page. Please be generous. My only plug...Except for my stories. Yea ! Yea ! Ok ! I forgot about N.O.R.M.L. and the American Cancer society at the bottom of the pages.....
Coming (so to speak) back after being away for a while has been...Well, it's like being here for the first time again. So many new places to go for stories...So much more to choose from. Exciting ! Surfing through asstr.org and coming upon such outstanding writers as deirdre, M1ke Hunt and SueNH. Inspiring ! Great classics ! What tremendous contributions ! Pioneers for us all !!
During the preparation of my stories for posting and building this web site, I came across a couple of items that I was unaware of. Many of my stories have been archived in the collections of both "Old Joe" and "Kristen." Who ever did this ? Thank you ! I'm honored. I also discovered two (new to me) reviews of my writing. BillyG reviews "Four Seasons," a miscellaneous story or tale, and Bitbard reviews "Settling Down," the first installment in "The Stories of Willy Tamarack."
I remember my first review. Celeste did it. She critiqued the first story I ever posted, "The Afternoon Feast," the first story in "The Adventures of Willy Tamarack." As I mention elsewhere, the ratings were not high. In part, Celeste said, "The author is not a grammatical or linguistic genius. For example, he has a "prolong" where I think he meant "prologue"; but maybe this was a Freudian slip, or maybe he was being clever. However, he's not illiterate either, and he tells an interesting story."
"Shack, Celeste !" Right on target. I had no idea how to spell "prologue." Shit ! I'd never thought to run my stuff through a spell checker. But Celeste's remarks encouraged me put a little more effort into my work. Not enough, though, to prevent me from naming one of my later stories "A Peak into the Future" when I meant "Peek."
But I was being clever when I left uncorrected the acronym for the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. I just recently discovered that, a few stories later, the moderator for a.s.s.m. at the time, eli the bearded, asked in a post if it wasn't NORML instead of NORMAL ? Not as clever as you thought, Frederick T. ! (I corrected all my web pages a while ago and all new stories will carry the correct acronym - NORML.)
That brings me to the two (new to me) reviews. BillyG had some excellent points to make when he critiqued "Four Seasons." A portion of his remarks follow, "The story has lots of explicit sex but some how lacks an erotic tug. Perhaps it's too superficial, for we never get to know the protagonists. We know almost nothing of their fears or desires, save to get laid. The plot is superficial and quite limited, failing to emphatically delineate a beginning or an ending. Save the stereotypical bisexuality of the women and the charge one might experience fucking the baby sitter, there are no points of dilemma or erotic energy in this story. Still, it remains as a light-hearted, no-consequences stroke story." Quite a professional critique. Identical to many I received during my school years. My hat's off to BillyG !
This critique leads me to believe that I need to dispel some misconceptions here ? I write sex stories...Smut stories...Porno stories...Stroke stories. That they make sense is a plus...That they have the semblance of a plot is cool...Including a little action or adventure is really cool ! If you want character development or intricate plots schemes, visit your local library. That's not my goal here. If I move one gal/guy to visualize, imagine or feel the "charge one might experience fucking the baby sitter." Wow ! I'd be super stoked !
But let's not get carried away, here. I am in no way encouraging anyone to attempt "fucking the baby sitter" or any of the other characters I create. I make this shit up...This is fucking fiction...Fantasy...Make believe ! It is not real life ! If you are thinking of attempting any of the stunts I write about, you need to get some counseling.
I believe the remarks made by Bitbard in the critique of "Settling Down" are a much more accurate description of my writing. Granted his marks were much higher than those of BillyG...So, of course, I liked his review. But beyond that he characterizes my work so much more accurately than BillyG. A portion of Bitbard's comments are included for comparison. "Willy Tamarack is a continuing adventure story, or I should say continuing porno story. What makes this series interesting is that it's well written porno. The plots (if any) are merely an excuse for everyone to get naked; and the characters wouldn't know a dilemma, unless it was choosing between taking it (or stuffing it) up the cunt or ass. However this is not necessarily a bad thing at all." He continues with, "Sometimes you want a deep and profound story, and sometimes you just want a story that will grab you by the balls (or other areas) and inspire a blind lust. Tamarack fills the second niche and does it well."
Don't get me wrong here. I do not want to pick a fight with BillyG. His critique has great merit but I'm not attempting to travel down the road he is encouraging me to travel. I don't want the reader to be confused. There is no Shakespeare, Dos Passos, Deighton or Hemingway in my writing but I'd like to think that I write "well written porn." What else would you be surfing through the Alt Sex Stories Text Repository for, other than "well written porn" ? You can read both of their reviews in their entirety near the stories they critique.
Sorry, got a little carried away.....
This web site is organized around the stories and tales I've written and posted to the news group alt.sex.stories beginning some time in 1996 and ending in December of 1999. I never stopped writing but stopped posting for a couple of years due.....Well, shit happens !
In any event, you'll always find a complete set of my work here. On your left, there are chronological links to all of the major story lines. And while most of the stories stand by themselves, many of them build on events that were written about earlier. Each link contains a short "story coded" synopsis of the particular story or storyline with links to the stories themselves. The stories are usually available in both .txt and .zip format.
My work consists primarily of the never-ending saga of Willy Tamarack. I vault out of the rut every so often but Willy usually manages to drag me back in. If you've just started reading my stories ? You may ask who the fuck is Willy Tamarack ? Well, just jump right over to "The Adventures of Willy Tamarack" and the synopsis will give you a quick biography and start you on your way.
But Willy Tamarack is not the only character who wanders these pages. "The Miscellaneous Stories and Tales" section has several "short" stories that offer some interesting characters and plots. In the future, this section will offer a richer choice of characters and plots as Willy's odyssey narrows down to a single story line. And don't forget the novels. "Shack, Lead !", "Every Man's Fantasy" and "If Candy is Dandy and Liquor is Quicker, Who's Mary Jane ?" are packed with interesting plots and chocked full of a bevy of interesting characters besides Willy Tamarack. But this is just the icing on the cake. The stories, for the most part, are crammed full of sex. That's what you're here for, right ??
Again, thanks for visiting. Hope you enjoy the stories !
