Also, I've been hearing grumblings from some of the authors that they haven't been getting the kind of responses from the readers that they have in the past. Some promiment authors have withdrawn their stories, or stopped writing new ones because of this. Other authors have suggested that other sites on the net are better for getting feedback from readers. Sending feedback is even more important than donations for the long-term survival of the site. The bottom line is that authors won't write new stories if they don't get feedback.
