The following is a work of fiction and is intended for adult readers only. It is based on characters developed by Toxis and The Mayor of Cherish and deals with mature subject mature. For background, read their stories at www.bimbofiction.com .
The OTTII Corporation has just acquired the Singaporean firm where Abbey works. She’s young and aggressive and having problems dealing with the new direction the company is taking. The following email exchanges with the divisional executive chronicle how she learns to deal with the company’s Policy Changes.
I just wanted to give you some feedback on the new policies implemented by OTTII Corp. since their takeover of South Asia Holdings Inc. Basically I think I can live with everything that has been proposed, even the new dress code. Skirts are fine by me.
I do have some concerns though. The monitor on my brand new lap top seems to be flickering intermittently. It could be my eyes, as I’ve been working longer hours lately too. I don’t know if lack of sleep causes memory loss, but I seem to be forgetting things. The other day I actually forgot wear panties under my skirt. (I ‘m sure you didn’t need to know that). Anyhow is there something wrong with the screens? Can we do anything about the long hours?
Other than that I think everything is fine here. My staff doesn’t appear to have any major problems. I will let you know if anything arises.
I am pleased to hear that things are going well. Some employees don’t adjust well to change, and the fact that you seem to be adapting is a clear indication of the type of dedicated employee that you are. I can assure you that we in senior management couldn’t be more pleased of your acceptance of the few policy “adjustments” that were made.
We, like you, believe that a young woman like yourself should appear in only the most fashionable of clothing, which would likely include a skirt, but of course a pair of nice jeans would be acceptable on casual Fridays. And of course, to ensure proper posture, the correct footwear is essential.
Please continue as you have been, and don’t mind the occasional flicker on your monitor. This is likely a power fluctuation. Senior management has been and continues to be impressed by your obedience in adhering to the new corporate dress code among other things.
Thank you for your quick reply in getting rid of my fears that there might be something sinister happening in the work place.
I know I probably sound silly and worrisome, and I will admit that I have been concerned about the transfer from pants to solely skirts in the company dress code, but I can agree, it is certainly more feminine. I did wear jeans to the first casual Friday today, however, the stares and frowns from the male staff members soon showed me it wasn’t a good idea. I think that I will be wearing skirts from now on.
I will admit that the new regulation footwear has improved my overall posture, although at first, I found it very hard to walk in larger heels. I have since found it is best to take smaller, more careful steps. I must wonder aloud however, if this is the image a woman of my position should be projecting, despite the obvious positives.
I am still concerned that the flickering on the screens at work has been increasing recently. Also, a number of male staff members have been, what can only be described as ‘fondling’ bothmyself and other female staff members. Some female staff are more receptive than others.Their hands have been everywhere, and despite protests, they don’t stop! It would be helpful if something could be done, as I feel I’m losing control over my department, plus this isn’t how I see International Traders behaving.
My final fear is that a number of our older staff have been replaced by younger, mostly Japanesemen. Whilst I appreciate that our office is in Singapore, and our parent company is Japanese, I feel that some of more Caucasian aspects of our workforce are being ignored. Plus there is an inevitable cultural difference.
Whilst you may not see the immediate benefit from wearing shoes with a more prominent heel, I can assure you that it is in fact the right direction to go. Aside from the obvious visual benefit that footwear with a minimum 4” heel provides, in making the wearer appear to be more graceful and feminine, research provided by our new parent company’s medical unit(OTTII Healthcare) shows many benefits including reduced fatigue due to better posture and the smaller steps that you described. I am sure that in time you come to fully appreciate your new footwear, and perhaps even opt to increase your heel size or add a platform sole for increased health benefits.
You may have noticed some of your coworkers being even more proactive in their efforts to improve their posture by wearing some type of corset under their clothing. While this is not yet part of the company’s official dress code, if enough research supports wearing them for health benefits, we would have to seriously consider its addition to policy 0923-VI. As the head of the department, you may want to investigate the benefits of corseting and take a leadership role by including them in your current attire.
As for the attitudes of your fellow co-workers, I can only say that some people will react in a different manner to the policy changes than others. Whereas you and most of your female peers have chosen to accept the changes, some of your male counterparts may be dealing with the situation in a different manner. My advice to you and your female staff would be to try and be as accommodating as possible, as these young men are obviously having great trouble adapting. You will need to use your talents to relieve their anxiety, and encourage your female staff to do the same. Our long-term goal is have a proportionate number of Asian employees in the office, as it is representative of the area that we serve. The fact that they are all male is purely coincidental.
Keep up the good work. Feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or concerns.
Thank you again for your prompt reply and recommendations. I also thank you for clarifying the situation with new employees. It struck me as I sat at my computer that I should not question OTTII’s hiring policies.
I understand that a number of female employees have been advised that the company medical plan now covers plastic surgery. Whilst I understand this is good for increasing female morale, I do think clause 5.74 does go a little far in allowing all female employees to have breast augmentation to as big as they desire. I for one am happy with 34b breasts anyway.
Whilst I understand your comments regarding a corset, I have always found them restrictive and uncomfortable. I appreciate that I should be setting a good example but I feel personal comfort should not be compromised.
Finally, the new Japanese male members staff have been very disrespectful to the female managers as well as groping them regularly. I have even overheard some conversations regarding us all as bimbo’s who are out of our depth. Whilst some employees do fall into this category, I feel I would not be in the position I am without having deserved at least some of it.
I appreciate that women are looked down on in Japan, but the pictures these employees are allowed to dimply is beyond the pale. I am not sure who ‘Riki’ or ‘Yummy Yamaguchi’ are, but their very pictures do not help me in trying to promote equality.
I look forward to your comments.
I am glad to hear that you will no longer question OTTII’s hiring policies. While blind obedience is hardly something that we expect in this day and age, I am pleased that you have chosen to place your faith in OTTII’s abilities to know ,better then you, what is appropriate in terms of human resources.
As for clause 5.74, we feel strongly that if and only if a female employee feels somewhat inferior because of cosmetic defect (ie: small breasts) than it is incumbent upon us as a progressively minded company to assist her in finding a remedy to her poor self-image. If you are pleased to have small breasts, instead of the moderate sized 34C’s or even larger DD or EE cups of your peers, then that is perfectly fine by us. The Senior Management team will not pressure you in any way to have your tiny bust increased to be comparable to that of the majority of female OTTII employees.
Corset training is just that, training. Just as the term “no pain no gain” applies to a sports athlete, so too must a dedicated employee such as yourself undergo some “short term pain for long term gain”. We are quite certain that after having become accustomed to wearing such supportive undergarments you too will begin to understand the benefits.
With regards to your interaction with your new male counterparts, you are experiencing what is known as “Corporate Cultural Adjustment Syndrome”. “CCAS” is common in overseas branches of western companies where locals are gradually introduced into the workforce. Over time both you and the new employees will begin to change the way that you interact. I would hope that in the meantime you will be patient and as I mentioned previously, accommodating to our new team members. I should also note that the term “Bimbo” does not have the same negative connotations here as you have been conditioned by Western society to believe. As for their posters of “Riki” and “Yummy”, if they wish to post some pictures to remind them of their Japanese culture, then I would be wrong to be against it, as it a practice that is done the world over. Perhaps you might consider posting a picture of OTTII Nikko, mascot for the OTTII Proton Allstar Baseball team as a way of reaching out to your male employees.
If you have any other concerns, please feel free to send them to me.
Thank you once again for your e-mail, and please accept my apologies for the lateness in my reply.
As you may, or may not be aware, I have recently been taking some time off to re-adjust to the new outlay of the office and the people employed there. It has been a very stressful time for me, and my line manager suggested that I took some time off to do the things I enjoy. I would add, that I am not that happy about Mr Okijimi being employed direct from Japan, whilst staff from this office had no opportunity to apply. I feel I could have done his job easily.
I have spent some time shopping, initially to make sure I complied with OTTII clothing rules. I did then find that I had been missing out on some very sexy fashions, which I totally had to buy. I’m sure you will be impressed upon my return.
Regarding clause 5.74, whilst I do not agree that my breasts are tiny, I would agree that some of my other colleagues are considerably more stacked. Perhaps breast augmentation is something I will think about in future, but for now, I believe my figure to be just right.
On a personal note, my fiance would like to extend his thanks to both you and the other OTTII executives that visited him recently. He advises me he sees things a lot clearer now. Curiously however, he has been making “tutting” noises whilst looking at mylips.
I am glad to hear that you took some personal time to help you adjust to the changes in the office. I am sure that I will pleased with the outcome of your shopping spree, and I would hope also that you took the time to visit a spa and/or salon for some relaxing treatments. I’m sure you are aware that OTTII will cover all expenses incurred at authorized spas and salons around town, so please feel free to indulge.
While I can understand your disappointment with Mr. Okijimi’s being promoted directly from the corporate home office, I must reiterate that decisions made by senior management, especially those made at the OTTII corporate home office in Kobe, are done for specific reasons that are in the best interest of the company. I would hope that you would be able to put aside petty differences and support your superiors in their drive to make OTTII a better organization for all.
It was a pleasure to meet your fianc. He is a very lucky man to have you, regardless of whether or not he deserves the opportunity. I am pleased that he understands this. As for the “tutting” noises, I am not certain I fully understand. Do you think that he is dissatisfied with your lips in some way? If so, I am sure that you would make every effort to remedy any such problem therewith.
I was disappointed to see that on my return, my screen still appears to be flickering. Please, can you ask IT to sort out this problem, as I feel it is making me ‘zone out’ during the day.
Thank you for your comments regarding my holiday, and I am sorry that you were not available to see my outfit on my return. For the record, Mr. Okijimi seemed very pleased, as did the other male staff in the office. Whilst I do not agree with wolf whistles and lewd stares in the office, I must admit despite my small complaints that it was quite sexy. The other staff certainly seemed to be impressed with my legs and muscle tone (mainly from the new company heels).
Also, the OTTII sponsored spa at the river is extremely nice!! I enjoyed myself immensely there, especially interacting with some of the executives wives whilst we all relaxed. They seemed a little more fashion and men obsessed than myself, but I happily fell into the fashion conversation after my earlier shopping spree.
It is possible that my fiance would like my lips to be done. However, we have been arguing a lot recently so I am not sure if I should do this for him or not. He seems to resent the increasing amount of time I have to spend on OTTII business. Even my recent holiday has not patched things up. Still I shouldn’t bore you with details of my personal life.
Finally, the new protein drinks that are being touted in the company cafeteria and in new dispensers throughout the office are very tasty!! Thought you might want to know.
I will contact the IT department on your behalf to investigate the problems with your monitor. In the meantime unfortunately, you will have to endure the flickering. My advice to you would be to try and relax your eyes, and your whole body for that matter, while the screen is flickering as this may help to reduce any fatigue that you may incur.
I am also sorry that I was able to see your new outfit in the office today, however I am even more disappointed that you did not include a detailed description in your email of said outfit in lieu of a personal viewing. I would want to make sure that you are properly adhering to company policy. I hope that you will include a description of your appearance in all further emails, from this point forward, until instructed otherwise. I am sure that your fellow employees are pleased to see you in such nice clothes, and I am equally sure that you are enjoying and will continue to enjoy being thought of as fashionable and attractive.
As for your personal problems, it is a shame that your fianc cannot appreciate that you are a dedicated and devoted employee, with a desire to serve your company. He is obviously not deserving of your time if his attitude does not improve. As for your lips, given the current state of your relationship, don’t think that you are getting collagen injections for his benefit, think that you are getting them for your benefit. Your appointment is later today and I hope to hear about how things went in your next email.
Please help yourself to as many of those delicious frothy pink protein shakes as you want, the company encourages healthy eating.
In line with new procedures laid out in your e-mail, today I am wearing an off-white, off the shoulder crop top, pleated mid thigh length blood red skirt, tan pantyhose and regulation 4’ heels. I am now aware of the importance of accessorizing, so I have also worn some large hoop earrings together with a gold necklace, which brings attention to my cleavage. Although mine is not as large as some employee’s, it is still worth seeing. I trust that this is in line with OTTII procedures. I do hope so, as this outfit creating quite a stir with my male colleagues. I also feel sexy and confidant, and much more relaxed.
It is interesting to note that I having a lot easier time in front of the monitor if I do relax. The flickering seems to be less intense if I stare at the screen more and just lose myself in it.
I had two protein shakes today for lunch. The pink colour is soooo cute! I know it’s not like me to like something some girly, but it really is. I do find myself being much more relaxed and happy after a shake, although sometimes I have a little trouble remembering what I was concentrating on before.
Forgive the shortness of this e-mail, but I have to rush for my appointment at the OTTII clinic. I must be losing my mind as I don’t even remember making the appointment. And just now I seem to have lost an hour or so staring at my monitor. It’s easily done. I hope you aren’t too mad!!!
Please let me know your comments and will let you know about my appointment shortly.
